She looked at herself and saw her flaws so she hid in a dark corner somehow thinking that no one would see her; But her Papa knew her heart so well. It wasn't hard for Him to find her, because darkness is same as light to Him. She was expecting Him to burst in anger, But He approached her with gentleness in His eyes and reached out His scarred hand. "Dance with me?" He asked. Hearing His question, she looked at her weak knees. "I can't..." She whispered, because she saw her insufficiency. With patience in His eyes, He replied, "I know; but I can. Come, My child, and trust Me." There was something in the way He spoke those words that made her hold His waiting hand; And when she did, the coldness faded as she felt His warmth. "Put your feet on top of Mine." He said. So she did, and saw how big His feet were compared to hers. "Don't be afraid," He smiled. "Look at Me." His eyes shone with so much Love and as she fixed her gaze on Him, Her Papa moved His feet and started to dance, humming a song. She was so in awe of Him and before she even knew it, she was already dancing, guided by her Papa. And all of a sudden, nothing matters more than just to be so close to Him and listen to His voice. 出勤日。朝ごはん食べたあとスクワット、それから妻を車で駅まで送ろうと思ったら一緒に歩いて行こうとのことだったのでそうする。電車の中で『表徴の帝国』本編読了。終えた感は薄いが。あとは長い解説のみ。多少読みやすくなって助かる。

Nancy Grundwalt and Victoria Cafasso

A 26-year-old German tourist named Nancy Grundwalt disappeared from Scamander, Tasmania in 1993, while cycling down the Tasman Highway. No trace of her has ever been found. Two years later, a 20-year-old Italian tourist named Victoria Cafasso was violently murdered on Beaumaris Beach, only a few kilometres away from where Nancy was last seen. Her killer has also never been found. Two mysteries in two tiny towns on Tasmania’s East Coast, that almost thirty years later are no closer to being solved. What happened to Nancy and Victoria?

EPISODE NOTES:

Although police don’t believe there is a connection between the two cases, the odds of two young female tourists being murdered two years apart in the same area is a bit much to take as a coincidence for some people. Rumours still fly around the East Coast about who could have done it, and everyone has a friend’s father’s cousin’s neighbour who was interviewed by police at the time.

But after extensive investigations, two inquests, and twenty years, there is still no indication about what happened to Nancy and Victoria. Was Nancy murdered, or was she the victim of a hit-and-run? Was Victoria killed as a case of mistaken identity? Or were she and Nancy the victims of the same opportunistic killer?
