8 years ago, I saw him for the first time when B1A4 debuted. But of course, at that time, I wasn't into kpop like I used to be, so I ignored them. Then and again, they keep coming back to me, but I continued to decline my interest in them. 2016 came around, and I finally decided to give them a chance. CNU's beautiful voice immediately caught me. And for some odd reasons, I remembered his name (I seriously don't know how I knew his name is CNU) and recognized him. And that's when I officially chose him as my bias (even though I thought he was the best looking since debut).
I do not regret getting into B1A4 late because I knew I wasn't ready to be a fan for another idol group. It's better to be with them now than never. More years to come with my babies.

Annotated Bibliography
Andrew Taylor (2011). “The hand of fate: how this painting won $20,000 on the toss of a coin”. Available Online: https://www.theage.com.au/national/the-hand-of-fate-how-this-painting-won-20-000-on-the-toss-of-a-coin-20110423-1dsd7.html
This news article describes Richard Bell’s judging on the Sulman Prize for art works in the Art Gallery of NSW in 2011. He determined the winner by a flip of the coin, which was to many people’s surprise. I want to use this in my blog to discuss something a bit different to his art but something that can also be linked into discussion on some pieces. Within the article, many people’s thoughts and responses as well as Richard’s are taken into account, and will help to create a better picture of Richard in the blog.
Art Educators (2018). “Aboriginal art is unavoidable politically”. Available online: http://arteducators.weebly.com/uploads/2/4/6/6/24662231/aboriginal_art_is_unavoidably_political.pdf
A large paper documenting how aboriginal and Indigenous art is unavoidably political, and would be a great point to discuss and lend a hand to my topics with Richard Bell, whose works are typically political. It contains a vast amount of research int other topic and will be a great asset to use in the blog.
Art Gallery NSW (2021). “Richard Bell :: The Collection ::Art Gallery NSW”. Available online; https://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/collection/artists/bell-richard/
A similar description of Richard Bell with some additional description of his biography and work. This is used to draw on more research about him and some of his works that have been shown in the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
Art Gallery NSW (2021). “HJ Weddge :: The Collection :: Art Gallery NSW”. Available online: https://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/collection/artists/wedge-hj/
Harry J Wedge is an Aboriginal artist whose work provides a look into traditional work, while topics and meaning behind his work lends from current social and environmental issues. His work is very thought-provoking and will be a great addition to the blog.
Bell, R. (2021) “Richard Bell Art”. Available online: https://richardbellart.com/
A website dedicated to Richard Bell’s art work, which shows his works, exhibitions and also outlining his biography. This website will be used to draw on descriptions of his work, and information about Richard Bell.
Bell, R (2002). Koori Web “BELL’S THEOREM”. Available online: http://www.kooriweb.org/foley/great/art/bell.html
This website is a discussion around Richard Bell’s work, Bell’s Theorem. There is a huge amount of description around the piece as well as more information on Indigenous art, surrounding current politics and cultural changes. A great read, and a piece that I will discuss within my blog.
Carlson, B., & Frazer, R. (2016). Indigenous Activism and social Media. Negotiating digital citizenship: Control, contest and culture, 115.
This book is dedicated to the social and cultural activist movements in relatively current Australia. A lot of information about social movements and brings forward a lot of relevant information that would be helpful to many of the works discussed in my blog. In particular, land rights, sovereignty and movements to fix these issues are mainly focused and discussed in this book.
Foley, G (2005). Koori Web “The Inevitable Collision between Politics and Indigenous Art”. Available online: http://www.kooriweb.org/foley/essays/pdf_essays/collision%20between%20politics%20and%20indigenous%20art.pdf
This is another great essay describing political Indigenous art and how contempory art lends to political movements and is “inevitably” political. This information will be used to help with a number of points I want to explore through my blog and support my findings as I go through my journey through the course.
Museum of Contemporary Art, Australia (2021). “Richard Bell | MCA Australia”. Available online: https://www.mca.com.au/artists-works/artists/richard-bell/
This website provides a description of Richard Bell’s work as well as some background information on him. This is particularly relevant information as it describes his works and the meaning behind these works. Richard Bell is a political artist and extends many works from his commitments to Indigenous social justice, land rights and sovereignty.
National Museum of Australia (2021). “Aboriginal Tent Embassy”. Available online: https://www.nma.gov.au/defining-moments/resources/aboriginal-tent-embassy
The Aboriginal Tent Embassy was created in 1972 and set up in front of the lawns outside of the Parliament House of Australia. This was used as an activist area and created due to many disputes with the Australian government at the time. This website describes the Aboriginal Tent Embassy from 1972 and in my work, I plan to use this information to link it to Richard Bell’s work towards his Aboriginal Tent Embassy.

nginx 1.0.0 がリリース
少し前になるが、nginx の 1.0.0 がリリースされた。
Here we go! nginx-1.0.0 stable version has been released. The repository is available at svn://svn.nginx.org.
nginx development was started about 9 years ago. The first public version 0.1.0 has been released on October 4, 2004. Now W3Techs reports that 6.8% of the top 1 million sites on the web (according to Alexa) use nginx. And 46.9% of top Russian sites use nginx.
Netcraft reports similar 6.52% nginx share of the million busiest sites in April 2011.
既に 10 日ほど経ってしまったが、アップデートしようと思う。
まずは現在のコンフィグレーションの確認。
$ /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx -V nginx version: nginx/0.8.54 built by gcc 4.4.3 (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5) TLS SNI support enabled configure arguments: --without-http_fastcgi_module --without-http_uwsgi_module --without-http_scgi_module --without-http_memcached_module --without-http_geo_module --with-http_ssl_module $
便利だ。ダウンロードして展開してコンフィグ、make、インストー 。
$ curl -O http://nginx.org/download/nginx-1.0.0.tar.gz $ tar zxvf nginx-1.0.0.tar.gz $ cd nginx-1.0.0/ $ ./configure --without-http_fastcgi_module --without-http_uwsgi_module --without-http_scgi_module --without-http_memcached_module --without-http_geo_module --with-http_ssl_module $ make $ sudo make install
稼働中の nginx のプロセスを確認。
$ ps ax PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND 741 ? Ss 0:00 nginx: master process /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx 743 ? S 1:12 nginx: worker process 744 ? S 1:15 nginx: worker process 745 ? S 1:10 nginx: worker process 746 ? S 1:14 nginx: worker process
次に稼働中のマスタープロセスに USR2 シグナルを送る。送ると、新しいプロセス群が動き出すが、古いプロセスも動いている。
$ sudo kill -USR2 741 $ ps ax PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND 741 ? Ss 0:00 nginx: master process /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx 743 ? S 1:12 nginx: worker process 744 ? S 1:15 nginx: worker process 745 ? S 1:10 nginx: worker process 746 ? S 1:14 nginx: worker process 16706 ? S 0:00 nginx: master process /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx 16707 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16708 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16709 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16710 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process $
次に古いワーカープロセス群を止めるために WINCH シグナルを送る。
$ sudo kill -WINCH 741 $ ps ax PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND 741 ? Ss 0:00 nginx: master process /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx 16706 ? S 0:00 nginx: master process /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx 16707 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16708 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16709 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16710 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process $
古いワーカープロセス群が止まったのを確認して古いマスタープロセスを止める。
$ sudo kill -QUIT 741 $ ps ax PID TTY STAT TIME COMMAND 16706 ? S 0:00 nginx: master process /usr/local/nginx/sbin/nginx 16707 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16708 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16709 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process 16710 ? S 0:00 nginx: worker process $
で、終わり。この記事を書いている Blog システムが nginx を経由して動いているのだが、何も問題なし。よく考えたら危ないなぁ。
