in my seasonal depressive spiral and i just watched 4 shows in a row which all turned out to be cancelled. idk if it's a cosmic joke of coincidence or the state of media is just that depressing at the moment

#i like a show -> it's cancelled -> repeat #rules for getting renewed:#1. don't be about lesbians #2. actually don't be about any marginalized group unless you can make it palatable to mainstream audiences #3. have population of entire planet binge watch it with no bathroom breaks first day of release #4. also if it's animated just forget about it #yea that seems to be it #sometimes they give shows two seasons before cancelling them if they're nice #not netflix tho they needs funds for kissing booth 6 #well at least last of us is definitely not getting cancelled #so that's something
