I do have to object to the novelization of the Giggle saying that the Doctor bought his own house in London with his UNIT salary. The Doctor would never be responsible enough to vacuum or buy groceries and stuff. The Doctor should be the Noble family’s unemployed housecat who wakes up at 12 noon every day and plays video games on the couch

Honestly tho the 4th doctor and Sarah Jane have made my life so much better. I spent my entire New Years Eve watching their first season (its like S. 12, i think).

i love all the sutekh/the beast parallels that have been going around but i think something very funny happens if you throw the daemons into the mix as well
that is, the fact that the third doctor once met the devil and then went to great lengths to explain that that wasn't actually the entity we know as the devil - it's simply an alien from a species with horns and hooves. they've been visiting earth for centuries and ended up making their way into folklore because the supernatural was the only way the humans of the time could explain what they were
and then, decades later, the tenth doctor met the devil and was like "yeah nah that's the devil. fr this time"
