I don't think I've ever been called a stunner and now I don't think I'll ever accept anything less. You've officially made a monster and I appreciate it. Is this my one chance to mention I was absolutely Team Gale?

Oh, I totally agree. Most of the time, you have to go into it with the acceptance that it could be terrible. The books are almost always better. Especially since you need to realize that not everything from the book can fit into the movie. Alan Rickman was amazing! I get that. You wouldn't want them to change things up too much. It'd be good to see both outcomes though. Almost like a choose your own adventure type of thing.

some adaptions are garbage. there i said it and if you don't agree, that's quite alright. like snape for example.. alan rickman did a fantastic job with him. i liked the way things turned out because if things strayed too far away from the books a lot of people would be pissed. i think even i might've been a little annoyed by it myself.

It's super tricky trying to keep things the same with any kind of adaption, you're right. Sometimes an actor takes such an evil character and does it so well, that you end up secretly rooting for them. Knowing the character the way you do, do you think they should've ended up together or do you like the way it all turned out?

sorry! lets be honest here you could've made appropriate age ships with any of the characters. but there's also this weird thing when it comes to adaption of any kind -- you may hate a book character but love the character in the movie depending on who plays them. just the friendship between gale and katniss in the books was really good.

Now that'll haunt my dreams for a while. I feel like everyone jumped to Peeta, and I get it, I do, but there was something about Gale already having that friendship with Katniss and the understanding. Young me appreciated that when I was first reading the series.

do people you know not have eyes? please don't answer that i was being completely sarcastic. i'd like to know why you were team gale. i feel like everything was pretty split between peeta and gale in terms of fans.
