Kinda curious, do you think, aside from the given ones, there are other magic types out there?

I’m not sure if you mean the elements we see in gameplay or not? That would be Fire, Flora, Water, and Cosmic (split into subcategories of Light and Dark). But there are definitely “elemental” magic spells that don’t fall into these predetermined categories. For example, Ace is known for his wind magic, Azul and Jamil cast ice magic in the main story, Malleus and Sebek summon lightning, etc. I assume that Fire, Flora, Water, and Cosmic are categorized way more broadly for simplified gameplay purposes, not for any in-universe reason.

If you’re talking about non-elemental spells such as transformation, summoning, etc., then yeah, I’m sure there are lots of kinds of magic we don’t know about. A skilled and creative mage may be able to easily combine spells and achieve new results. This is likely the basis for advances in magic medicine/pharmaceuticals and technomancy. We also have to remember that the story mainly happens at NRC, which is basically a high school. A high school won’t be able to go super in depth on all the materials, so there’s probably way more detailed and difficult types of magic that isn’t touched on at this level.

Event Characters

This Halloween story is divided up into 5 chapters. During each chapter, you’ll receive one of the freebies:

Chapter 1: Malleus

Chapter 2: Epel

Chapter 3: Azul

Chapter 4: Vil

Chapter 5: Idia

Read the story and finish all the chapters and you will be able to keep them with no requirements necessary.

The character’s vignettes / groovies are locked until October 28th. The freebies above will not have any vignettes.

SSR cards will be able to change their outfit look on the homescreen.

Story Info

As you do lessons in-game, you’ll unlock the episodes of the story.

Chapter Mission Info

The missions on the main Mission screen will be completed as you progress through your lessons to unlock chapters, so just make sure you claim it!

Guest Room Info

This event has event limited furniture which can only be built by Event Materials. To get these, there are specific locations labeled EVENT in the Collect Battles screen within the Guest Room where you can farm for it. The amount of mats you get depends on the difficulty. Gacha event cards will also give bonus materials if used during the battles.

First stamp card is from October 1st, 17:00 JST to October 8th, 14:59 JST. There will be a stamp card for each part of the event. The Stamp card will also drop Jack o' Lanterns that you can use to purchase things in the shop. It will also drop special materials to use in the Guest Room Collect Battles.

Second stamp card is from October 8th, 16:00 JST to October 15th, 14:59 JST.

Third stamp card is from October 15th, 16:00 JST to October 21st, 14:59 JST.

Fourth stamp card is from October 21st, 16:00 JST to October 28th, 14:59 JST.

Fifth stamp card is from October 28th, 16:00 JST to November 11th, 14:59 JST.

HOW TO PLAY

CALENDAR : Episode 1 and 2 released on the 5.Apr, Episode 3 released on the 10.Apr, Episode 4 (and 5?) on the 17.Apr

similar to most Events, you accumulate Postcards (the Event Currency) during regular lessons, and use them to Unlock the Event Story and at the Shop.

while reading the Event Story, you’ll receive Makeup that will unlock a different part of the Event Shop, as well as 2 Trial Event Cards (R Ace and SR Azul) that you can convert into full Cards for free after having completed the Event Story and accumulated enough Postcards. The duplicates of these 2 Event Cards can be found at the Shop, together with their Groooovy Items.

World Event Souvenir : same as for Aleab Naria and the other World Events, a Souvenir bundle is IN-STOCK-NOW at Sam’s for 100jewels. It contains the the statue/trophy of the Beautiful Queen + the version to install in the GuestRoom.

Event GuestRoom Furniture will unlock for crafting after you complete some Episodes of the Event Story. They can only be crafted during the Event period so make sure to Gather enough Event Paint until 26.April and remember to finish crafting them by 26.May (that way you can focus on the Paint for now and Gather the other materials later).

Event Stamps Missions : the 1st card runs until 10.Apr only so don’t wait for it! You’ll get a mirror key as reward for completing the 9 stamps.

1st STAMP CARD (Vil) [ENDED] : do 20 Alchemy Lessons | win 20 GuestRoom Collect Battles (it counts even when doing them 5 in 1 fight) | accumulate 100 and 200 Postcards | login 3 days during the Stamp Card period | invite Event Ace in your GuestRoom once | level up Event Ace to lvl.20 , his Episode/Vignette to lvl.1 and one of his Magic Spell to lvl.5

2nd STAMP CARD (Azul) [ENDED] : do 5 and 10 Rhythmics Twistunes | accumulate 300 and 400 Postcards | login 3 days during the Stamp Card period | invite Event Azul in your GuestRoom once | level up Event Azul to lvl.20 , his Episode/Vignette to lvl.1 and one of his Magic Spell to lvl.5

3rd STAMP CARD (Jamil) [until Event End] : do 30 Elective Lessons with Crowley | accumulate 500 and 600 Postcards | login 3 days during the Stamp Card period | craft 3 GuestRoom furnitures | level up Event Ace to lvl.40 and one of his Magic Spell to lvl.8 | level up Event Azul to lvl.40 and one of his Magic Spell to lvl.8

Also I find it so funny that "Malleus evil smile" expression is his Happiest Expression LMFOAOAOA He's thoroughly AMUSED by Yuu calling him Hornton in front of Sebek (of all people) without hesitance 😭😭

Also the part where the npcs talked about him broke my heart aughh...

He's just talking with his classmates and everyone is already whispering how "he shouldn't be in this school he's going to curse everyone" (OKAY maybe theyre going to be right about that in a few more updates butksjdjs) But aaa knowing the fact he has superb hearing skills.... I like to imagine he's hearing these rumors while talking to Yuu and the knights but he's just ignoring the rumors since there's a few peopke who are treating him like a normal person right now 😭😭

Okay… I could understand the staff getting cards before them. And I get that, since Rollo and Fellow/Gidel have events, they are featured more than the other school.

But I’m still mad that EVENT CHARACTERS are getting cards before reoccurring RSA characters get cards.

And since these characters aren’t going to NRC, or at least they shouldn’t be if twst wasn’t bending over backwards to get these characters there, there is nothing stopping the twst devs from making cards for characters outside of NRC.

37000 is what I expect when choosing Normal. Idk why the other two are so high.

TWST JP just dropped the news that there will be a second installment of Magic Assault Practice (a type of event not yet released in EN). This will begin on the 26th this month.

The first event of this nature released with the SSR Raven Jacket Crowley card:

Now the assumption is that each NRC staff member will eventually get their own playable SSR with new installments of Magic Assault Practice.

Looks like it’s Crewel-sensei’s time to shine this month!! (His Duo Magic is with Crowley 😂) Here is a screenshot from the in-game announcements tab to confirm:
