The worst trope in the universe is when someone accuses character A, who is part of a real or fantasy or coded minority, of doing something bad and everyone's like "That's just your prejudice against [real or fantasy minority]!" and it turns out character A actually did do that bad thing and everyone else was stupid for not believing they did that bad thing.

malky i struggle so much playing in stars and time i love time loops but something about how they are presented made me convinced that engaging with any of the time saving measures would be really rude and everyone would be mad at me so every time i time loop to the town i have to sit through the entire battle system tutorial so nobody gets mad at me help

Ix my advice to you is you have to accept that this is the time prison experience. Immerse yourself in the narrative of time prison, the speedrun mentality, the wear and tear of repeating dialogue. Also they literally don’t get mad and don’t care.

Unless you are writing a huge au that changes a lot of background, Mandos Hate or at very least Strongly Dislike Jedi

They aren't people who "are basically the same in different fonts", they are people who had differing ideologies until the New Mandalorians were created (which can be as far as less than a thousand years ago to 20 years ago) because before that the mandos were Pretty Much Imperialist

Even if you go with "True Mandos aren't that!", Jaster is only the Mando'alor for a small amount of time and before that the TM were part of the same group that Death Watch was in and *even then* he was chosen because he wanted to change how Mandalorians worked as Bounty Hunters and make them more Honourable (and even Then it's... Questionable with some of his actions)

Not hate towards fics who make the Jedi and Mandos whole problems boil down to Sith or misunderstandings, it's just it would be a lot more interesting to read imo if only recently were the Mandos changing enough to get along with them and that being a symbol of how far they became, how far they are from their coloniser ancestors and terrorist kin, and that even Then there are issues to deal with because they are Still getting better and there are Still a lot to do that doesn't boil down to "there was a disagreement in a certain action and the Nandos were right even if the jedi were upset"

ooooohkay this is a big one

first off, the prison arc had a lot happen behind the scenes. we got mentions from other characters about the conditions, especially from the Warden when talking to others about it. also, since the man locked up in said prison didn't stream on the server, we only get snippets from the few visits he was granted, or the Warden's POV when he was uhhhh taking care of him so to speak. either way, you will have to look closely, unless some kind soul replies with a full playlist of Just Prison Clips(tm)

it also depends on what you were intrigued by in particular. there is a full playlist here which I genuinely hope is complete. the clips that include the Warden talking about the prison aren't there, from my brief overview of the videos.

if you're interested in the whole thing, watch all. if you are interested in the part where it gets, well, interesting, with the torture and all that good stuff, I'd skip to Quackity's VOD. (here are his VODs only)

the downside to watching only the torture is missing out on Techno's arrival and The Prison Podcast. here are Techno's VODs, with the prison lore being in the VODs Visiting Dream up to JAILBREAK. would recommend watching the AVENGING RANBOO one as well to get the full picture for the last arc of the prison-related stuff, aka Daedalus Arc. here's a playlist.

I finally finished my first run of Resident Evil 4 (2005)!!! Previously I'd only ever played a few puzzles and some qte sections on the PS2 when my sibling played a borrowed copy of the game. Soon I'll be playing it for my friends on discord to watch because one of them prefers watch other people play horror games and has only seen up to the lake fight because the person they previously were watching, in like 2007, didn't know that you could heal your boat health and kept dying

Not sure if I missed a few things, because honestly I skimmed over some of the documents in my initial play through, so some things didn't really make sense from my strict understanding of the game (ignoring things I've seen from people playing the remake and fan explanations/deep dives into the franchise) but I really liked how the documents were spread out through the game instead of piled up in one room near the end (looking at you re4remake and re8)

Also might end up playing re7 for a crowd since I personally think it's the most survival horror of the ones I've seen played based on atmosphere, limited resources, and the knowledge that your character is just a some dude without any kind of training aside from maybe shooting some cans off of a fence once

Some people would call gothamites petty, but given that most of the USA population treated them as scum, they believed that their behavior was justified.

They didn't like tourists, to put it mildly. Therefore, after learning that in their city were people on a field trip from Amity Park who could not leave Gotham for several days due to weekly escape from Arkham, the news channel immediately decided that a short interview from the guests would definitely amuse the locals. The reaction of outsiders never ceases to be ridiculous.

A few months ago, some of you might know if you keep up with this blog, I went to Collect-A-Con LA. It was truly on a whim. Literally the day before my girlfriend and I had just come back from our Europe trip. Normally I'd be so tired and jetlagged but for some reason I was feeling really antsy and energized and just needed to go somewhere and get out of the house.

I found out that Collect-A-Con LA was happening the following day and that a lot of the original Pokemon voice cast would be there. So I bought a ticket, drew/printed up a picture that I wanted to get signed and got up early to drive to the convention center (you have to understand that I hate driving in town and also very much never wake up early). I don't know what possessed me to do this but I'm so glad I did.

I ended up having the privilege of meeting Eric Stuart, Veronica Taylor and of course, Rachael Lillis.

She was masked up, looked tired, and a bit sick. And at the time, I assumed she might've caught a cold over the weekend of the con. I went to her table and she still smiled and gave me all of her attention and time. I paid her assistant for an autograph, gave Rachael the drawing I'd done and she got to signing it. Her assistant said the print I had was cute and asked where I got it. I told her that I drew it myself and that I spent a LOT of my time drawing Team Rocket and other various Pokemon fanart. When I said that, Rachel stopped mid-sign and looked up and squinted at me and asked "are you Kiana Mai"? My heart skipped. I had no idea she knew who I was and was surprised that, given how many Pokemon fanartists there are in the world, she was able to pick me out. I left that interaction so happy and felt so seen. Soon after, I went to get my print signed by Veronica Taylor and while in her line, noticed Rachael had left her table; presumably not feeling well and had to leave the con early. I remember thinking how lucky I was to catch her before she left.

A couple months later, I saw the gofundme that her sister posted, detailing what Rachel was going through for the past few years and her battle with cancer. It put that convention day in such a different perspective for me.

All I could think about was how much she cared about her fans and how in touch with her community she was to go to a convention while being in so much pain and suffering in silence. I obviously don't know her personally, but based on how other fans who've met her, as well as her colleagues have spoken about her, I got the impression that she was an amazing, thoughtful person who cared about the people around her. That was only solidified for me based on this singular interaction a few months ago.

Rest in Peace Rachael Lillis. You've touched so many lives with your voice and so much of us grew up listening you. Thank you for everything!
