i have suchhhhhh a love-hate relationship with people who recast the tvdu actors, like on one hand, some of these actors are traaaaaaash human beings (lookin at u, matt d and nate b!) and also paul and ian were both like 30 when they were supposed to be playing eternally 18 so i gET IT, but i always get a little bit of a stank face when people change the fcs of the poc actors if they haven't done anything wrong (aka kat and kaylee bc it's so funny how it always happens to them)

Lots of people do this, and i *think* it is called relational thinking, where essentially you're using relative information you know to find the solution. It's a strat.

For me it's easier to just remember what the sums of doubles are and then add/subtract from the closest relative sum to find the solution. I do it with time as well.
