Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) -> ASKS ACCEPTING -> @torntruth -> truth’s a funny thing sometimes. / from diana.
OH, HE SEES THE FUNNY THING SHE IS DOING ⸻ See this is the part where Clint Barton reveals a little known fact (except plenty of people could tell you this) was that he stole Captain America's whole schtick and actually read the files that Avengers had people like their friendly neighbors, THE JUSTICE LEAGUE.
⸻ And the silliest thing about about Wonder Woman was her whole LASSO OF TRUTH. ❝ Well, you don't need to TIE ME UP, lady, to agree with you on that. ❞ There's a lot of comedy in life; his entire story could be summed up in a three act tragedy-comedy. Plenty of truths all wrapped in there that would make one laugh until they cried or was it the reserve?
❝ You usually need a premium pass to tie me up anyways. ❞ His eyes definitely dart down to the rope, a deadly weapon he was surprise and he's glad that most extremely powerful and scary ladies are on his side things. ❝ Okay, okay, I confess! You got it out of me, I had the last of the coffee at the JL last month. ❞
#torntruth#THREADS -> Torntruth#TORNTRUTH -> Diana of Themyscira#look the mayors office was out of coffee and the avengers live in a corpse where else was he gonna get his coffee?#just some silly man being funny#[ VERSE; 616 ] All he ever needed was to trust his own wings

she's thankful for the gentle quiet of the room, save for the sounds here and there of lena cleaning her wounds. it had been a tough fight against the cheetah that night, diana having just arrived as she had gotten her hands on another ancient artifact. these fights, more than anything, always left her feeling raw and upset afterwards— perhaps that was why she'd sought comfort at lena's doorstep, instead of flying back to the embassy. the weight seemed too much to bear alone.
she doesn't look up when they step back, still feeling a bit disoriented by it all. "i apologize for intruding on your home, lena. i knew you lived close by and i... i did not quite feel like myself." the words elude her, slipping away like sand through her fingertips. instead of trying to explain further she reaches up to remove the diadem from her head, setting it on the table next to her. "i had to fight an old friend tonight. it troubles me that i cannot help her like i wish to. does that make sense?" not that she doubts lena's ability to comprehend— moreso that she doubts her own ability to convey her feelings.
open to : anyone ; exes, situationship, fwb, co worker, mentee, etc. muse : magdalena diaz. 48. trauma surgeon. they/she. plot : your muse is hurt (physically) somehow & showed up at lena's place for medical assistance. message to plot !
they've been in relative silence the entire time, lena waiting patiently for them to provide an explanation, and as she wipes the last bit of blood from their skin, she arrives at the conclusion that not a word will be said unless she prompts them. hand takes hold of their jaw — gently — and she moves their face this way and that, inspecting her handiwork on the wounds they sported when they showed up at her doorstep. " minimal scarring. " she's not in plastics, but she has more than enough experience to know that the stitches will heal beautifully. lena steps back and peels off her gloves. " now is the time you start talking, because i'm not letting you go back home tonight. not like this. what the hell happened to you ? "

Im trying to find a dcxdp thread on tumblr can you (or one of your followers) help?
I don’t remember all that much about it but I do know it had Danny adopting a bunch of (possibly mistreated) clones
I also remember that in it wonder woman had a couple of clones, one of the being male who she taught to fly so her could go to Themyscira without “touching the ground” . Also I think Danny and Diana were in a group chat for clone parents.
It’s nice with the reach I have that I can help people with this type of stuff! As long as people don’t send me like more than one search request a day I’m down to help :)
Ok I did some digging in my likes and some googling but I couldn’t find it. I know I saw something of the sort on tumblr. Does anyone else know this?

STELLA MEETS FLASHPOINT PARADOX WONDER WOMAN [PART 1]
Summary: Stella is drawn into the Flashpoint with Flash and caught between the battle of Wonder Woman and Aquaman for the conquest of Man's World. What happens when Stella saves Flash from the Mad Queen and comes face to face with The Queen of the Amazons?
Words: 1,560
Stella looked around from her point floating above the crumbling building - the destruction around her was horrible and she was going to fix what the Flash destroyed by going back in time to find out his mother was alive and he was the father of a son and a daughter. Somehow, when Stella tried to stop him, she was also dragged into the altered future and she was asked by Steve Trevor to join the resistance against the invading Amazons and Mer-Folk that started a war in Man's World. Stella was looking for any kind of activity in the region when the intercom in her ear began started buzzing and she placed her two fingers on the intercom to activate it.
"Stella, where are you?!" One of the Generals of the Resistance asked her with panic in her voice.
"I'm at the vantage point - there's no activity. Does Steve want me to move?" Stella asked as she looked around.
"That's the issue - Steve is dead, killed by the Queen of the Amazons." The General said making Stella's eyes widen - Steven was dead? Killed by Diana. Damnit! This was going to complicate things. Stella was going to talk into the intercom again when she saw the red blur of the Flash running through the streets with someone behind him - Diana of Themyscira, the Queen of the Amazons and Murderer of Steven Trevor. She was dressed in her Amazon Armor with her sword in her hand and wearing the helm of the deceased Queen of Atlantis - who she also murdered, causing this entire war to break out.
"Diana is going after Flash! I'm going to stop her!" Stella yelled into her intercom before removing her hand and flying in the direction of the fading red blur with narrowed blue eyes. She arrived just in time to see Diana standing over Flash, who was on the ground trapped in the Lasso of Truth; Stella' keen ears picked up on the words Diana was saying to Flash: "Your wife will never see you again. Your son will be put to the sword. And your daughter will serve my empire."
"Not on my watch, you bitch." Stella snarled under her breath as she summoned the Molten Sword and threw it like a spear at the Lasso of Truth - the moment the tip of the blade touch the golden thread of the lasso, a backlash of power unraveled the lasso from Flash and blew Diana away from him while making Flash slide on the ground, further away from Diana. The Queen of the Amazons looked shocked as she used her sword to slow to speed until she came to a complete stop - her blue eyes gazed upon the Molten Sword stuck in the ground as the Amazons gathered around their queen to make sure she was alright.
"Who dares?" Diana asked as she looked around to see who threw the sword and stopped her from killing along man when she realized the sword came from above, she looked up and locked eyes with a glaring face. A young woman around the age of 20 years wearing a red and black outfit with a camo bandana tied around her forehead glared down at Diana with sapphire blue eyes as she floated in the sky while it wasn't visible to the naked eye, Diana could see it - This Girl was the Keeper of Cerberus, the 3-headed Hellhound. Diana watched as the girl floated down to the ground before the Molten Sword and grabbed its' handle before yanking it out of the ground.
"Are you alright, Flash?" The girl asked without taking her eyes off Diana and the Amazons. Diana watched as the Flash rose to his feet and wiped the imaginary sweat from his head before nodding.
"Yeah. Thanks, you saved my life, Stella." Stella? The Star? Diana heard about this one - a skilled warrior that could bend fire to her will but there was something off about this girl and Diana was going to find out what it was.
"Flash, get out of here; I'll deal with Diana." Stella said as she grabbed the sword with two hands and glared even deeper at the Amazon Queen.
"Stella, this one isn't like our own Diana, she is deadly serious." Flash said.
"That doesn't matter to me. You need to protect your children. Get to them, now!" Stella roared at Flash, causing him to flinch, nod his head, and dash away in a red electric blur; the Amazon Warriors made a move to follow him but the Queen of the Amazons lifted her hand to still them as she rose to her feet and pulled her sword out of the ground before looking upon Stella. The wind gave a light breeze, picking up dust and blowing Stella's hair and Diana's cape in the wind.
"The Eternal Star. I heard about you from my Amazons. You arrived with that red-suited male and have been hindering the progress of my conquest of the World of Man." Diana began.
"The World of Man is not yours to rule, Queen of the Amazons. It belongs to the men, women, and children who have lived here long before you and your warriors arrived here. Leave this place and never return." Stella demanded but the Queen of the Amazons chuckled at her demand before taking a step closer to Stella, who responded by getting into a fighting stance.
"Your stance - it is Amazon. Tell me, are you an Amazon where you are originally from, child?" Diana asked.
"If you really must know, I am Half-Amazon." Stella answered, and this made Diana smirk.
"Your Mother, who is she? To breed a still warrior such as yourself - someone who can be bound with the Hellhound Cerberus is a rare treat. I must know who she is." Diana asked but Stella shook her head.
"I'm not telling you that for I am not close to the woman whose DNA I share, I was raised by a woman from the World of Man and raised to be a human." Stella growled as she gripped her sword tighter.
"You are not human nor are you from the World of Man - you are Amazon. I shall get the answer from you one way or another, Child. Do not disobey your queen." Diana demanded as she pointed her sword at Stella but Stella remained silent. "Very well. Amazons! Surround us! I don't want her escaping."
"Yes, My Queen!" The Amazons said as they moved in position - there was an entire dome of Amazons surrounding Diana and Stella before Diana charged at Stella and their swords clashed. The Amazons watched as Stella danced around their Queen with swiftness and grace, clashing swords or dodging attacks with a focused glare in her blue eyes.
"Yes. Yes! You are one of us and you shall join my empire as one of my guards. Now, tell me who your mother is!" Diana demanded as she clashed sword with Stella once again.
"I'm not telling you anything, Murderer!" Stella roared before she pushed Diana off of her and swung her sword at Diana's face, cutting her cheek. The Amazons gasped as Wonder Woman placed her fingers on the fresh wound on her face before smirking.
"No one has ever laid a wound upon my face - you are truly something else, Stella." The Queen of the Amazons said before she disappeared with her Speed of Hermes and reappeared in front of Stella, but before the girl could get into a defensive stance, Diana knocked the Molten Blade out of the girl's hand and punched her in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her lungs and causing the girl to fall to her knees while holding her stomach. Diana removed her Lasso of Truth from her waist and wrapped it around Stella's neck before pulling it upward, making her sit up and her eyes widen as the rope glowed golden, showing the connection.
"Now, tell your queen the truth, Little Amazon. Who is your mother?" Diana asked as she looked down at Stella who was struggling against the hold of the Lasso of Truth but Diana pulled it, tightening it around Stella's neck once again, before glaring into the girl's eyes. "Who is your mother?"
"M-M-My Mother is Wonder Woman from my time." Stella gasped out, causing Diana to widen her eyes and gasp at watching the girl just said and he knew it was the truth for none could fool the Lasso of Truth - The Girl was her daughter.
"You told me that you were raised by someone from the world of man. Who was it?" Diana asked.
"An Ex-Military Woman named Elenore Connor." Stella grabbed at the Lasso of Truth and tried to pull it off but it wasn't coming off.
"My Amazon… No… My Daughter, you are mine now." Diana smiled as she placed a gentle hand on Stella's trembling cheek. "I shall find this Elenore Connor and kill her - you shall have no mother beside me and then once I rule the World of Man, you shall be the Heir of the World."
"I don't want…to be the Heir of the World!" Stella struggled to say.
"My Daughter…you have no choice." Diana smiled into Stella's fearful eyes.

As a Bisaya—speaking Filipino, I am very happy to see this representation in Craig of the Creek. In bisaya, we call bless as amin and I am really loving that. I hope to see more of this in cartoons and shows.
Translation of Lola’s (Grandma in English) lines:
Lola: May ra na sila sa sunod nga salida.— That’s just good until the next episode.(Some elderly people like to watch afternoon and evening telenovelas and are very invested in it.) Lola: Oy, kagwapo! Imo ning boypren? — Oh, how handsome. Is he your boyfriend? (This is very signficant as most lolas are teasing to us girls when we let them meet guy friends 😂) I know this isn’t really a topic I usually post in my blog but I just wanted to share

Eros 2, Storge 3, 4, and Philautia 1, 4 for Eris and Kestrel?
Oooh thank you so much!!
OC Asks - Seven Forms of Love
2. How important is sex to them in a relationship? Do they see it as something essential to their happiness? Would they be able to remain in a monogamous relationship with someone they loved without sex?
Eris: Doesn't see themself as an innately sexual being. Where they come from, babies are born sculpted from clay, and while some of the Amazonians certainly do have... relations, it's not treated as highly as it is in modern human societies since procreation obviously does not require sex. This doesn't mean they don't enjoy sex, and they do, but they don't see it as essential to their happiness or the relationships they may have.
Kestrel: Kind of a similar response. They also don't see sex as essential to their happiness or relationships, but they do view it as a very particular form of human connection - not essential by any means (aspec-positive Kestrel ofc), but a very unique experience. It's almost like skydiving to them: some people do it regularly, some people do it once, some do it not at all, and all of these are completely valid and justified, but it's a very particular experience that can't quite be replicated if you haven't done it.
3. How far does parental approval (imagined or expressed) impact upon their current sense of self-worth? What might they sacrifice or attempt to achieve in order to ensure the approval of their parents?
Eris: Doesn't really have parents to begin with. He fell into the "it takes a village to raise a child" crowd on Themyscira, with a roughly equal connection to the other Amazonians. She's sure she's disappointed them, following war and conflict indiscriminately the way he does, but he doesn't let it bother him. Really, they barely think about Themyscira at all most of the time.
Kestrel: As for their current self-worth? They've learned to come to terms with everything they once did to their surrogate family. But there was a long time where they were weighed down by guilt about it, and felt very worthless (even monstrous) as a result of that. It's not that they don't want to make amends, it's that they're scared to go back and risk making things worse
4. Does your OC have any siblings? If so then did their parents have a favourite growing up? Has their relationship with their sibling changed in adulthood? If they don't have any siblings then do they perhaps feel they have missed out on an important relationship? Do they have any especially close friends who go some way towards filling that role?
Eris: No "siblings" of the traditional sense, but I feel like they were compared to Diana a lot growing up. I mean, she was the pinnacle of being an Amazon, the best of Themyscira, and it probably resulted in a lot of resentment because Eris was always woven of a different thread. But again, they don't think much about Themyscira anymore, and they rarely if ever interact with Diana
Kestrel: No siblings, but they're a little grateful about that. Siblings would've just been more people they could have hurt during their tumultuous period, and more guilt to deal with in the present. Now, Warren's brother Dale has filled that void a bit, and Kestrel treasures that relationship, and they have more found family at Fablehaven to supplement it (they view Kendra and Seth as their niece and nephew, for example, and they adore having family connections like that)
Does your OC have a healthy sense of their own worth and value? Or do they see themselves as failing to live up to their original potential? Perhaps they are convinced of their own sinful or inadequate nature?
Eris: Generally has no issues with self-worth. He knows who he is, he knows he's violent and combative and more than a little amoral and he's comfortable with it. Once or twice, he's had flashes of regret for what she's done, but those are few and far between (parasitized!Rick in Acrimony calling them a monster was one of those moments, since that came from somewhere so close to the heart) and largely they're very secure in who they are.
Kestrel: Still struggles a bit with self-worth sometimes, though they've gotten worlds better than they once were. There will always be a thread of that deep within - undervaluing their abilities, feeling like they're innately untrustworthy despite their actions always speaking to the opposite, etc. - but the worst of it has passed.
4. Which of your OC's qualities makes them the most proud? Do they think more people should be like them in this regard? Or do they quite like being rare in possessing it?
Eris: On a base level, she's proud of her skill in battle. Of course he is, after all he's made for it. But on a deeper level... I don't know that they're proud of any individual qualities or character traits. In their mind, they exist as what they are, completely neutral, and trying to find something to be proud of is more likely to send them into uncomfortable throes of morality that he really doesn't want to deal with. She doesn't really think about herself much, at least not as much more than a vessel for conflict.
Kestrel: More than anything, is proud of their growth, and proud for everything they've tried to be. Nothing comes naturally to them, so they take a lot of value in the person they've worked to become - a pretty good person, they might add. They have their share of insecurities and mistakes, but they're proud of being able to crawl out of that darker place and make something of themself. They'd say this is unique for a changeling, but not as rare among humans
#this has really made me realize how similar eris and kestrel are actually#i mean they both avoid interpersonal connection. only eris does it bc he doesn't care and kestrel does it bc they're afraid to hurt someone#they're very similar characters at the base of it but with very contrasting views on the world. i think it's interesting#my friends!!!#answered asks#ask game#my ocs#oc kestrel#oc eris

Because you seem to be one of a small handful that also Feels Some Type of Way about Cassie’s disconnection/lack of solid sisterhood with the pacifist culture of Themyscira: if you could’ve changed something about Cassie’s plot in TTVol3 what would it be? Personally, I would have A) NEVER given her the Lasso of Rage. Instead I would have done something like Diana’s bracelets being able to form a shield or summon Zeus’s lightning, or B) have her arc be about fully rejecting Ares when all was said and done, and have part of her awakening as a demigod be that the lasso changes attributes/characteristics instead.
If I could change one thing, it would be for Cassie’s plot with Ares to have more prominence following Infinite Crisis.
At the beginning of Teen Titans, Ares starts grooming Cassie. He warns her about a war, telling her she needs him and the gifts he gives her. During the crisis, Cassie starts losing her powers as the gods abandon the mortal plane. Ares offers to give her some of his power so she can continue to fight.
Teen Titans (2003) #33
Under pressure from the world nearly ending around them, she accepts.
We have this scene where she accepts Ares as her brother in exchange for his power, making a clear deal with the devil… and then it doesn’t lead to anything. Ares disappears, Infinite Crisis ends, Cassie has her cult era, OYL. The thread doesn’t get picked up again until nearly thirty issues later, under a different writer, and by that time the exchange lost all its impact. There’s no fallout from this deal. It’s lowkey implied that Cassie is being affected by Ares’s power in Teen Titans #64, that he’s been making her quicker to temper, but in that same issue she throws off his influence, rejects him, The End. It was pretty anticlimactic for all the build up it had, and left a lot of unanswered questions.
Tl;dr I think that if it had been followed through properly, it could have been an interesting plotline and character arc for Cassie. I agree that, no matter how it went, it should have ended with her rejecting Ares, as well as learning to better understand and uphold Amazon tenets of compassion and peace. Below the cut, I put some (kinda rambling) musings on Cassie and how a plot like this might play out.
.
.
“We have a saying, my people. Don’t kill if you can wound, don’t wound if you can subdue, don’t subdue if you can pacify, and don’t raise your hand at all until you’ve first extended it.” —Diana of Themyscira, Wonder Woman (2006) #25
I’ve talked about Cassie’s disconnect from Diana’s mission and Amazon way of life before. Cassie is compassionate. She’s a hero because she has a genuine desire to help people, and because she believes that as someone with the ability to do right and make a difference, it’s her responsibility to step up and protect those who can’t protect themselves. At the same time, she often demonstrates a black and white view of good and evil, and is quick to aggression. She can be very unforgiving toward people who have hurt her or her friends, and occasionally prioritizes revenge over justice. These aspects conflict with Amazon teachings, especially those around diplomacy, redemption, and violence only as a means of defense. As I said in the other post, how Amazon philosophy and ideals (should) affect Cassie and the way she acts as a superhero rarely ever comes up.*
*I think the Wonder Girls Sins of Youth story is the only story it ever comes up in.
Which is why I actually like the lasso Ares gave her. It was a tool Ares used to manipulate Cassie, one that acted as a perverse mirror to Diana’s Lasso of Truth, and that was meant to sway Cass even further from the Amazons’ ideals of peace. With the lasso, he encouraged her to weaponize her anger, lessen her self control, and to rely more on hatred for her enemies rather than compassion for the people bad guys hurt. As a storytelling tool, I think it was a good way to put her even more at odds with Diana’s mission, and through that, set up an arc that spotlights her relationship (and lack thereof) with Amazon ideals.
I’m not sure how the specifics would work. I don’t know where Johns would have taken the story if his plans hadn’t been derailed by Infinite Crisis. I’m also not sure what Johns’ understanding of Wonder Woman and its characters/themes/etc was.
Ares didn’t want a largescale planet destroying war. He swore to Diana that he would “never again take an active role in man’s demise” (Wonder Woman (1987) #6). His direct influence was too risky, with the weapons man developed; all out war could end in nuclear war, meaning the destruction of humanity and, with no one left to worship them, oblivion for the gods. Ares promised Diana that he would not personally intervene in mortal affairs, as long as she did her utmost to deter them from their path of destruction and teach peace. However, as seen in the Gods of Gotham arc (Wonder Woman (1987) #164-167), there are loopholes in that oath. Destruction is not oblivion, and the gods can act through intermediaries (Diana herself is Athena’s champion). He later reveals that he evolved to gain power from conflict just as he does from actual battle.
Wonder Woman (1987) #199
It’s unclear what exactly Ares hoped to achieve by having Cassie as his champion and tether to the mortal realm, or what being a champion of Ares means. Would Cassie be a general of sorts? Would she have become a vessel for Ares, or through his influence, start a war of some kind? Undermining Diana, or directly opposing her, if Ares decided Diana had failed the challenge he set for her? (Which, considering how things went for the Amazons in Infinite Crisis, is not an unreasonable thing to believe).
Or, more likely for Johns, seem to start going down the road of the Wonder Woman of Tomorrow in the bad future timeline? Maybe after Kon’s death, and losing her faith in Diana (after Diana killed Maxwell Lord and disappeared after the Crisis without a word to Cassie), disillusioned Cassie falls more under Ares’ influence and control, losing some of her principles. She becomes more brutal and retributive when handling villains, and worsens existing conflicts by interfering with her new brand of “justice”. (She could have really stirred the pot in 52.) Perhaps the OYL plot could have been the Titans reuniting to help bring Cassie back to herself, remind her what and who she fights for. Idk \_(•~•)_/ I’m open to story suggestions.
As I said up at the top of this now unnecessarily long post, the end goal is for Cassie to reject Ares and his ways. To reaffirm that she fights for her friends, for love, to help people. For her to incorporate the teachings of the Amazons into her actions as a superhero: to strive from there on out to be more diplomatic, to advocate for change over punishment, and, as the Amazons say, to not raise her hand at all until she’s first extended it.
#cassie sandsmark#cassandra sandsmark#teen titans volume three#re: tt64 don’t get me wrong#I do really enjoy that storyline and it was fun#and the scene where she learns to use her own power was cool#But it could have been so much more#talking about cassie#also Cassie does change the lasso’s attributes after she rejects Ares in tt64#it’s part of her new super power that only gets mentioned like once after that arc and is never really explained#lol this ask is from MARCH#sorry if you’ve ever sent an ask and I never responded#once the blue dot disappears I forget that my inbox exists#also side note about ares if you don’t read WW: he is a lying liar who lies#he says he doesn’t want largescale war or he won’t meddle but that doesn’t mean he won’t cause war or harm if there’s a loophole#zzz inbox

So my recent reading project has been reading Wonder Woman comics starting from post-Crisis (a goal I arrived at with the typically ADHD-esque thread of “I should read more about Cassie” -> “I should have context for when she shows up in Diana’s series” -> “well, I wanted to read at least one hero from post-Crisis to Flashpoint”). Anyway, now that I’m fifty issues in, it seems like a good time to write down some of my thoughts.
Diana’s civilian friends, Professor Julia Kapatelis and her daughter Nessie, are very good characters, but I’m really trying not to get attached to them. After all, I haven’t seen any mention of them in future issues, which makes me think that something is going to happen to them. (Especially given that I am recognizing a lot of Amazonian names.)
Speaking of civilian allies and tragic ends, Mindi Mayer was a fascinating character. Excellent writing of a multifaceted character, with both good and bad sides to her. Rex Leech could take lessons from her— both in how to be a good person and in how to be a good publicist.
Honestly, the whole running theme of Diana spreading her message of peace is fascinating. I know that— this being comic books— she’s never going to make any real, permanent progress. But in these fifty issues, it feels like she has. And I’ll be interested to see where that goes.
ON WHICH NOTE, was anyone going to tell me that Lois Lane was one of the first people to visit Themyscira, or was I supposed to just find that out myself? To see her having so much chemistry with Diana in the same issue where the Amazons imply that they’ve all been having lesbian sex for the last thousand years was An Experience.
I’ve been a little sad not to see more of Donna Troy, but the times that she’s shown up have been interesting. She and Diana forged a very fast but perfectly solid bond.
But then, that’s just who Diana is. It’s been a fascinating joy in this comic to watch her go from young and naive to a little more experienced and mature, but all the while with that utterly implacable core of Virtue.

about donna
Just a few notes before I jump in here:
There are a number of origins for Donna making it very complicated. The issue with these origins is that removing some or altering some can alter her later storylines. I’ve tried to simplify it while not destroying story that impact Donna and also giving her solid thoroughlines with themes. It’s fine if you don’t like my choices or interpretation or want her to be interpreted differently, I chose this because it’s what works for me.
I view Diana as more of a mother to Donna rather than a sister. Before I explain please know I will never push this onto Diana rpers, I will always discuss how you want to approach them. Just in Donna’s head typically and other non-related threads this is how Donna feels about their relationship. In my view Bruce, Barry and Oliver are all seen as parents to their wards and sidekicks but Diana is never allowed to be a mother to Donna, despite Donna coming to her as both a baby and later a young teen (same as the boys). The age difference also speaks more to a mother figure than an older sister. DC are cowards, let Diana be a mother. Even one that was maybe a bit too overwhelmed or young to be a mother at first with the baby and handed the child to her mother, essentially letting the child be partially raised by the grandmother (Hippolyta).
I view Cassie as a younger sister to Donna.
Roy and Donna, and Kyle and Donna, are default are exes in my interpretation. That’s canon. I will also always contact you if you play Roy or Kyle to see how you want to approach them.
Donna is a clone of Diana made by magic (from the sorceress Magala) intended to be a playmate for the young Diana. However a woman known simply by ‘Dark Angel’ kidnapped Donna, thinking she was Diana. Diana and Magala assumed the magical spell had just run its course and she had dissolved. Donna, though, was cursed by Dark Angel to live life after life of pure tragedy until she was born into her current existence. Donna does not remember any of these past lives.
In this life Donna was in the foster care system and while with a foster family their home caught on fire. Donna is rescued from the fire by Diana, who bonds with the two year old immediately. She keeps Donna for a while but ultimately realises that sending Donna to Themyscira might be better for her and asks Hippolyta to raise her. Neither Donna or Diana know this but the reason Diana was able to find Donna in time was that she was blessed by Rhea of the Titans.
Diana visits Donna throughout the years as she grows, and they’re loving but there’s a distance, Donna remembering when she used to stay with Diana. When she’s around thirteen, Donna asks to go live in Man’s World with Diana and train alongside Wonder Woman. Hippolyta thinks it would be good for both of them and agrees, leading to Diana bringing her home and Donna becoming Wonder Girl. At almost fourteen, she joins the Teen Titans alongside Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad and some time later Speedy. She even gave them the Teen Titan name! While living with Diana she gives herself her own name beyond just ‘Donna’ and chooses Donna Troy as a nod to the Greek heritage she was raised on.
Donna stayed on the Teen Titans for years, staying with every new iteration of the team. She and Roy Harper aka Speedy flirted on and off. She also formed deep friendships not just with all the original members, but also later with members like Starfire. Donna finished high school and attended college, while also developing her skill and talent with photography.
TW: grooming/predators, age gaps, possible student-teacher relationships, various forms of abuse, traumatic pregnancy, traumatic childbirth, death (various)
While in college she meets a college professor by the name of Terry Long. He loved her work as Wonder Girl, and knows her secret identity. Despite being a fairly older man, in a position of power, and already divorced with a young teen daughter, a year after his divorce, he pursues Donna. They start dating.
Note: Despite the comics claiming that Terry is 29 (or ‘at least 29’) I don’t believe he’s 29. His daughter seems far too old for him to be 29. And while there’s no explanation for how the two meet in canon but I don’t see why Donna would be mingling with a much older, about to be tenured, college professor of history unless she was IN college and met him there (even if he wasn’t HER professor he was still A professor, likely at the same college). There are no similarities between these two, no common shared interests, nothing that would link them besides this fact. College co-eds also throw themselves at him like it’s common knowledge that he dates college aged girls. He starts dating Donna a year after his divorce is finalised. Donna seems to not be in college when they start dating, could she have left to facilitate their relationship? He is a little TOO into her time as Wonder Girl (and says some creepy comments about her friend Kory, who is also far too young for him, and while he is dating Donna). Furthermore, if you read further into their custody battle era you can see just how much of a manipulative dick Terry can be.
While dating Terry she starts working as a professional photographer. She’s still on the Teen Titans and has changed her name from Wonder Girl to Troia. She experiments with her uniforms, too. During this period she sometimes leads the Teen Titans, or is a major support for Nightwing as he does so. Getting engaged, Roy seems to finally let go of a possible future together. When she marries Terry Long, it’s Dick who walks her down the aisle. After marrying Terry, she goes on a short honeymoon. But soon after returning, she falls pregnant. The pregnancy lasts 3-4 days, a rapid speed due to her own biology and the mixed heritage of Rhea’s intervention. During this accelerated pregnancy, Donna was almost assassinated by a team of heroes from the future, trying to prevent the birth of her son who would turn into a future tyrant called Lord Chaos. She is kidnapped by the future iteration of her son who kills her shortly after she gives birth. The magic granted to her by Rhea and the Titans, that gives her godlike powers, resurrects her but the power overwhelms her and causes her to seek ruthless destruction in the pursuit of finding her infant son. Once she does locate him and subdues Lord Chaos she chooses to give up her powers and her son’s powers in order to try and prevent such a dark future. She agrees to focus on being a mother and wife and move to the middle of nowhere in a farmhouse away from all her friends. The marriage quickly goes downhill. They’ve let some displaced heroes stay with them, leading to them being in danger consistently. Donna is unhappy and Terry is controlling. Donna asks for her powers back, and while she doesn’t get them yet, she still joins the Darkstars because she misses the superhero life. Terry can’t handle any of this and gets very manipulative and aggressive. He constantly goes to his ex-wife for support and ultimately he asks for a divorce from Donna. She’s rejoined the Teen Titans. She starts dating Kyle Rayner, though it becomes something on and off as she goes through her divorce. While the divorce is happening, Terry warps facts and stories in an attempt to gain sole custody of their son, Robert Long, now a walking and talking toddler. He claims that Donna’s work as a superhero puts the family in danger. He winds up winning custody of Robbie. Donna is distraught but while visiting Kyle’s mother and being introduced she receives word that Terry has been in an accident with Robbie, and his daughter Jenny. She’s asked to come identify the wreck. Once there they inform her all of them died in the crash but the bodies are beyond recognition.
This tragedy brought Dark Angel back, as Dark Angel’s goal was to make Donna suffer through the worst tragedies imaginable. She forced Donna into a new life, where everyone but Hippolyta (working as Wonder Woman) and Wally West as the Flash, forget her existence as the Donna they knew. But Wally and Hippolyta were out of the time stream and retained their memories. They go to rescue Donna, and break her out of the curse. Together they defeat Dark Angel but several things happen: the first being Donna had lost her memories and had to be reformed as Donna using Wally West’s memories and perception of herself, the second being that they all discover that she is in fact a clone of Diana. Donna struggles for some time with being constructed only using Wally’s perception of her and from his point of view. She’s got gaps where he doesn’t know things or just has things as he perceived them - like her relationship with Kyle. There’s also the question of ‘is she this person or is this the person that Wally sees when he sees her’. She is also granted the privilege of a royal station and title on Themyscira. A coronation was held and ever since Donna has been an official Princess.
During this period she rejoins a new Titans team, restarted by some of her original Teen Titans teammates from childhood. She moves in and lives with members like Roy and Garth, but also Kory, Roy’s daughter Lian, and returning mentee members Grant Emerson and Toni Moretti. Donna is trying to reestablish herself after not only the death of her exhusband and toddler son, but also losing her memories and struggling with her sense of self. She leans on Roy throughout this and they slowly start to date again, having not touched the idea since they were still teenagers. Donna also grows very close to Lian, taking care of her often. She and Roy break up when Roy deals with the return of Cheshire. Donna remains in his corner, however, and someone for Roy to lean on. As always Donna’s unwavering love for her friends shone through.
During a meeting between the Teen Titans and Young Justice a Superbot went rogue and while they attempted to stop it both Troia and Omen were killed.
Like everyone else after the destruction of the multiverse, Donna discovered that she was an amalgam of every alternate version of Donna Troy in the former realities. But unlike everyone else, Donna was the repository of knowledge of every alternate universe version of herself. After Dark Angel was defeated, Donna became the sum of every Donna Troy that existed on every Earth. A living key to the lost Multiverse.
The Titans of Myth, including Rhea, brought Donna back to life on New Cronus, believing her to be the child who was destined to save them from a new and impending threat. They implant false memories to make her think she’s the actual Goddess of the Moon and wife of Coeus. She was, however, found by the Titans and the Outsiders. They helped restore her memories. The Titan of the Sun, Hyperion, ordered her to create a passageway into another universe, meaning for the Titans of Myth to conquer it. Scared by their ambitions, Donna banishes them all to Tartarus. Coeus, who had learned humility and compassion from Donna, saved her and Arsenal from death at Hyperion’s hands and vowed to guard the gateway so that the Titans would be forever trapped. Afterwards, Donna gained the knowledge of all her alternate selves and was entrusted with the Universe Orb. This knowledge extended to the gaps in her own original memories. This event also marked the return of Donna and Roy to each other, he’s especially happy to see her and they share a kiss.
She was present during Infinite Crisis where Jade and several other members of her team died.
When Diana decided to step down as Wonder Woman, Donna Troy assumed the mantle for a time.
She also worked alongside Kyle Rayner (now Ion) to prevent both him and her being erased from the newly built time-stream (apparently they were unwanted anomalies).
She joined several former Teen Titans in their battle against Deathstroke and his Titans East Team.
Donna travelled the multiverse with Jason Todd and Kyle Rayner to stop the corruption of the Monitors. After that adventure she returned to Earth and reunited with the Titans. The group had reformed after they found that Trigon was systematically hunting down members (new and old).
During Blackest Night Donna was faced with the bodies of both her exhusband Terry, and her child Robbie. Zombie Robbie bites her, and she becomes ‘infected’ by the Black Lantern’s power. Furthermore, she, like every other resurrected hero, was targeted by Nekron. Her previous deaths made her vulnerable to the Black Rings. But she was actually converted by the infection, becoming a Black Lantern herself. Hal severs the connection between the Black Lantern rings and those affected. This serves to turn Donna, and several others, into White Lanterns.
Donna would go on to become part of the new Justice League lineup. It’s the conclusion to a storyline wherein Roy is gravely wounded by Prometheus. Donna takes him down after he defeated the rest of the team but not before he destroyed Star City. This destruction included the death of Lian Harper. Wonder Woman tells her in the aftermath that she would benefit from being on the Justice League. She joins the team, recruiting Cyborg, Starfire and Batman (at this time Dick Grayson). Green Arrow kills Prometheus leading to a number of people leaving the JLA, but her and Batman stay. She says she would’ve done a lot worse to Prometheus for killing Lian.

@iniziare sent a meme from somewhere, a long time ago: ❝ Mm, bad things should happen to bad people. ❞ (Frrrroommmm, ready for the surprise? Rusty to Diana; nonchalantly with that grin, but most likely also while eating, you know the drill)
" And you do not consider yourselves bad people. ” It was close to a question and, yet, not quite. She might have been so naive once, so content to believe good versus evil as in binary opposition to one another. The world, she had learned, was not so simple as that: whether Ares was still alive or not, darkness dwelled in all men and women, giving them the capacity for violence, and war, and trickery. All of the things she fought so ardently against, and over the years she had learned that understanding the motives, the means by which individuals were led down those paths were the keys to defeating them. Slowly, Diana turned from the television screen ---- and its news report that had prompted this apparent moralistic debate in the first place ---- to face him. “ I am not inclined to believe you some Robin Hood figure. Your money, ” she glanced pointedly around the hotel lobby, “ has not gone to the needy. ”

windswept hair / feathered boots touching down upon ground once more. always a certain joy that comes with flying / the feeling of freedom. an sensation unlike any other. one yearned for. that alone diana was elated to share. but had taken the newly landed kryptonian here for a reason. the view. the rising sun striking the rolling verdant hills and reflecting off the deep blue of the sea. it was breathtaking. a place the amazon liked to go often / the scene reminding her of home.

“We do. They gave me gifts when I was —created,” she said. It was always strange explaining where she came from, but Kara was actually from another planet so she guessed she’d understand. “My mom, Hippolyta, wanted a daughter and so she sculpted one out of clay. The Gods decided to bless that clay and thus I was created. The first child to ever be in Themyscira.” It was a lonely childhood, always surrounded by adults, but it was hers and Diana cherished it. “I am sure they appreciate pizza too, whenever they visit the human realm,” she added to keep on topic. She’d gotten too carried away.

the woman of wonder is late, not that the cat is under any kind of assumption there’s a timer to be had. and one cannot be late, after all, for something they don’t even actually know is happening. but she hears the door to diana’s flat open, and legs shift to stretch languidly with the long, lithe line of her body. vibrant red lips tug into a soft pout, and heavily lidded, warmly chestnut eyes glance expectantly at diana in the doorway.
there’s a charming black negligee she found and stole for the occasion. it’s soft, thin beyond thin, ridiculously simple to shred with what will probably be nothing but an accidental rip diana will destroy. lina will delight in it. she tosses her hair behind a shoulder, peek of a pink tongue poking out to whet lips with another tilt of the head. blunt, red nails wander the cat’s side, down, dip between her thighs and then back around to brush over the swell of her backside. she rhythmically traces her own nails back and forth across that dip between side and hip, grazing them with all the pressure she tempts the other with and will, in fact, willfully give up.
of course, she’s not supposed to be in this country, in this flat, looking at diana. but how she does love stealing a private jet. how she does love surprises. how she does love being the surprise.
“ hey, honey, i’m ho-ome. ”
