The scene of them trying to justify why they left without saying goodbye is truly horrifying to me an autistic person who hates conflict, doesn't know how to explain feelings, and doesn't know how to say no

The scarest thing about Nandor being actually smart in all things Guillermo is that this is the reason why he'll never make the move to be with him:
Nandor already knows how he feels about Guillermo.
He's not even repressing it. He's just made peace with it. Because Guillermo was never an option.
Guillermo is human. He'll choose to stay human. He's fleeting. He'll always leave in some form or fashion. Nandor doesn’t choose to act on his feelings for Guillermo for the same reason why he never turned him. It would just be a curse.

weird hearing "were you a Theatre Kid" "were you a Sports Kid" "were you a Choir Kid" "were you a Dance Kid" bc no? i mean i did all of that and more but resented ever minute of it? actively avoided sticking with anything? i was a "In This Family After School Activities Are Mandatory Kid"
#oh and i was really really bad at all of it btw#which was a good thing actually otherwise i would have gotten bored even *more* quickly#christ if i was good at a Activity i probably would have had to stick with it#that would have been EXHAUSTING#i survived soooo many Activities by standing in the background doing the bare minimum so I could focus on the Hyperrealistic Daydreams#baseball was my favorite. if u wear a glove u can literally just stand in the back of a field & stare at grass & no one bothers you#i mean usually no one bothers you but there is one specific situation where everyone starts yelling your name real loud and pointing

I love Gothamites thinking that the batfamily are Cryptids when they're not.
I also love the idea that to begin with, Gothamites know Robin has been a bunch of different human kids that the: Definitely a Cryptid Batman™ (bc let's be honest that thing is not human) has taken under his wing.
I think it makes the Robins scarier to them. Like "There's something fucked up enough about this kid that the Demon Bat took them in." And they're all pretty sure that every time there's a switch in Robin's it's bc the Cryptid Demon Batman thing probably killed them off or something.
They always try and warn off whatever new Robin he's taken in, but whenever they do the New Robin always laughs them off or attempts to assure them that they're fine and not worry.
#at one loint one of the Robins began telling people that they should stop worrying about them and should actually feel worried for Batman#which ends up leading to the conspiracy that all of these robins are actually one entity-and that Robin is a demon that has attatched#itself to batman and that batman is the human who should be saved from the Demon Cryptid Robin™#Bruce becomes very confused when citizens and d list rogues begin to ask him of he feels safe with robin#it was probably Steph who started the rumor idk lol#batman#gotham#batfam#batfamily#jason todd#dc#bruce wayne#dcu#dick grayson#tim drake#stephanie brown#damien wayne#jarro#their suspisons became confirmed that Robin was the Crytif when they decided to shapeshift themself into a starfish at some point

Ok ok hear me out: it could end in tragedy,, AND have a happy ending. The attempt(s) on Machete’s life force him to flee, he doesn’t even have the chance to find Vasco. Cue gay longing for at least a few years while Machete despairs over the loss of his love, his life, his status. He and Vasco only reunite (again) in their later years. Their relationship is forever flavored with loss and loneliness, but that only means they savor every moment that much more
I also I would like to see them as old men. Vasco would be so droopy :)

#Vasco would go white and gray in the face like an old golden retriever and get wrinklier#his golden fur would get shaggy and gradually lose it's shine#at some point he wouldn't be allowed to ride horses anymore which would upset him greatly#he'd get rheumatism and bad back and his hearing would worsen but he'd be an active and jolly type of grandpa#Machete would mellow out considerably if he managed to retire#I'd like to believe he'd be able to find some sort of inner peace in his later years#even in his prime his eyesight was bad and he spent his entire life fearing going blind so if he eventually got cataracts and lost most of#his remaining vision he'd probably be relatively fine with it as it was something he knew to expect#and he would have Vasco to look after him#his left ear had trouble staying upright when he was a pup so it would be kind of funny if it started drooping again#answered#anonymous#Vasco#Machete#own art#own characters#this isn't canon or anything I'm just musing

#isat spoilers#act 6 secret encounter#inspired by loop and loop adjascent designs by sharkylass and wonder-of-the-stars yay yay yay MY BRAIN EXPANDS ily guys#i think at this point im sure i'll never settle on 1 post-story loop design so i think they probably phase in and out of a human form#which is still mostly their own body but they regain some functions like the ability to eat and also their face and clothes#now with inbetween stages i guess?! i just thought it looked cute honestly. im playing. with my touys.#it's probably not fully in their control how they look at any given time. but they definitely stay stuck in star form for a while.#and get better control of keeping the 'human mask' on longer the more they practice#u can sort of see their eye scar in the transitional phase but it bursts out into the bright star that covers the eye in human form#in stars and time spoilers#isat#in stars and time#isat loop#my art

At some point in your life, there will be a moment where exactly - or near exactly - half the people in the world are younger than you, and half the people are older.
And I think that moment should be the one your soulmate Mark appears at, not at birth or puberty or something. Both because at birth is kind of boring but it's also very you-centric and soulmates are about the thing outside of you being a part of you, and I think it would be nice to include The World.
But also I think it would have fascinating implications for scientific and social studies. Longevity trends tracked by the average age soul marks appear. Tragedies causing a rash of recent marks to disappear (because the people are no longer the middle). Marks appearing early during baby booms.
#soulmates#i just think it would be neat#and let people survive their teenage years#and discover who they are before they get told who they're matched with#gives everyone a chance to fall in love naturally#AND best of all#it means YOUR mark may appear now but if your soul mate is younger than you#it wouldn't appear for them yet#meaning a new dynamic and honestly less stress i think#because if you fall in love with someone not your soulmate you wouldn't necessarily know#unless you were the exact same age somehow#which tbh since soulmates isn't romantic a large portion of the time#twins probably share a mark#in this world you can have as many soulmates as you want btw#you can have pets be soulmates too but their mark appears when#they're the middle point for their species#i should really sleep#nightblogging
