honestly there's something about Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL that reminds me a lot of Mega Man Battle Network
#okay there's actually a lot of things#like i know yuma/bronk/tori/astral don't map perfectly to lan/dex/mayl/megaman but their vibes are so similar#for one lan and yuma are both kinda idiots and they need their incorporeal friend to correct them on the facts every so often#anna kaboom could easily fit into the bm world as an operator for commandoman.exe or napalmman.exe or something#(the train netnavi is already taken sorry)#i guess there's also the fact that both ygo and mmbn are both deck-building games of sorts#but i better stop here - these tags are long enough already
