Viren Stadium, Hau'oli City, Melemele Island, Alola

After dark

As the show begins, the crowds start making their way into the stadium. Once the majority of the audience is seated, the lights start to dim, much like the beginning of a movie at the cinema.

The entire stadium is left dark for just a few suspenseful moments, before the upbeat live music starts up, accompanied by the lights coming back on - all of them focused on the person at the center of the field.

Even without special effects, she's literally dazzling. Larger than life, too - she's already kinda tall for a teenage girl, but her natural stage presence adds to that. She doesn't even need a particularly elaborate outfit to stand out.

"Welcome, one and all! We're so excited to be performing at Viren Stadium tonight. We hope you'll enjoy the show!"

She hands the mic off to a stagehand, before making a subtle signal to the corners of the stadium. On their cue, several other performers run out onto the field and start to form a human tower beneath her, raising her up.

She stands, making the balancing act look effortless, before pointing directly at the sky. Her fingertips spark for a second or two before a mote of dazzling white light flies from her hand to high above the stadium's open roof with an audible whistle.

And then it bursts. The sound almost completely overpowers the live band, but that's nothing compared to the spectacle that follows. Countless colors exploding in the sky in many different patterns, timed to the music.

You'd have to see it to believe it. Especially the fact that she just did all that by herself.
