hey can I get some beginner coh1 tips cause my team miss half their shots and can't afford new pants

No you can't I ran out of tips a while ago...

So I'm seeing two issues you're having rn, so let me address them individually.

"My team misses half their shots"

That's actually common for like, level 1. Especially for the Bug enemies you might have encountered - those can only be reliably killed with magic spells, as they have high evasion.

So if I have a tip for that, is that you should run from said bug enemies if you run out of MP, and instead focus on killing other types of enemies such as Blurred Silvers/Golden Deads (the coins basically). Those give both plenty of EXP and Gold.

As soon as you reach Level 2-3, you should be able to hit enemies more reliably with your melee attacks. You can also sleep whole enemy groups with the Doze spell, though its success rate is mixed from what I've tested (It works best on the mole enemies which are another difficult type of enemy in the earlygame).

"I can't afford new pants"

Also pretty common early on, and I feel it's the one thing I get asked about the most about CoH1 (lol).

Any and all enemies you defeat will drop a small amount of gold. But most importantly, they might also drop crafting materials and other items.

These need to be identified, something which can be done at shops at a price, or free by having a Bishop or Alchemist in your party.

If you have either of them, then Identify any and all items you have, then sell all of them. Crafting is not something you should worry about in the earlygame - only when you have a comfortable amount of cash.

If you don't have any, then either create a burner character... Or you could instead find another copy of the item you want to sell.

Identifying at shops costs the same as an item's selling price. But that price remains the same, even if you have more than one of said item.

So, for example, an Iron Junk material can be identified for 1G, which would normally be its selling price. However, you can still identify it for only 1G, even if you have 99 of them - giving you a net profit of 98G upon selling them.

So basically, only identify items at shops if you have more than one of them.

As I mentioned before, you can also focus on defeating the coin enemies. These are most commonly found on Map 18, and besides what I've said, they can also drop Ancient/Magic coins which can sell for 150G.

You can check which map you're in by pressing A (keyboard). Though only if you either use the Sight/Mapor spell or, well, have the physical map of the dungeon you're in.

In the case of Novice Road, you can actually get a map of it for free by talking to Yuno at the office.

(take that line to heart btw, don't rely on the Mapor spell and especially not in the lategame).

If you're feeling extra stingy: Don't pay the 100G for the Dorms to heal. Instead, have your healer recover their MP for free, then use their spells until everyone's at max HP again.

Also save a lot in case a character dies, as reviving can turn expensive if it fails once (aka the character turns into ash. Though in general you don't want this to happen at all since that's one step away from permadeath).

Now, if you're that desperate for money and somehow all of the above failed:

Make a new character, unequip and sell all their stuff, and transfer the money they get to one of your actual party members. Rinse and Repeat until you're satisfied.

This is the classic cheese strategy most DRPGs have, and it works just as well in CoH1. It's just... slow, though. And I wouldn't really recommend it for a first run, as it might dilute your experience with the game.

Hunter x Hunter ships I personally don’t like

These are ships that are NOT supported on my page.

Edit: I have left my hater era… while I do not like these ships myself I won’t shame you for liking the legal ones. I am no longer present in ship discourse. I do not like these but I won’t stop others from enjoying them…. With that said please enjoy the LONG ass read.

Please note a couple things before reading.

1, I do not hate any ships for being WLW, MLM or NL (hetero) unless it’s the result of representation erasure (An example of this is in the Owl House Community. People ship Lunter and say that it’s ok because Luz is a canon Bisexual but it’s still WLW relationship erasure!!! I do not support Lunter btw…)

2, I’m gonna mention stuff like proshipping and toxic relationships so please be warned if you’re triggered by those types of things do not read under the cut

3, I’m also gonna talk about ships I lovehate due to having extremely mixed opinions.

Killunary (Killua x Canary)

There are a couple reasons why I don’t like this ship but it’s mostly because of the power imbalance. Certain employee x employer ships just don’t work due to extreme power imbalance. The main example of this is the Zoldyck family and their abusive nature towards all the butlers, including how Kikyo treats Canary when she got close to Killua.

The other reason is because I see Killua as a heavily MLM coded character. And I’m sorry if you don’t agree but based on both his canon and non-canon interactions with the various women of the story, I don’t think he’s straight. I personally think he might be gay/vincian but it’s up to interpretation!! I cannot see Killua dating a girl. (This includes ships like KilluRetz and Killumane)

Hisomachi (Hisoka x Machi)

Again, Hisoka is a heavily MLM coded character with Machi being the only woman in the series he’s shown possibly romantic interest in. Hisoka himself is an extremely harmful stereotype of a gay man being overly flamboyant but also predatory towards kids and women. That is a stereotype that is shown and pushed VERY often with Hisoka. (If you do view Machi as WLW, which I do, she’s also a harmful stereotype of the mean, man hating, lesbian./lh)

Also the fact that Machi straight up rejected his dinner offer in the Heaven’s Arena Arc should be enough to push the fact that she doesn’t like him…

Edit: while Hisoka is MLM coded I personally see him as a pan man due to some random factors and just cuz I like it that way

Kuroneon (Chrollo/Kuroro x Neon)

Ok I only have like one reason but I feel like it’s validated tbh!!! He literally attacked her and stole her ability. And I don’t wanna go on a whole rant about Neon and her complexities rn but her nen ability, lovely ghostwriter, was essentially the only reason for her father to love her and care the way he did…

Also their age difference urks me ALOT cuz Neon is about the same age as Kurapika (17-19) and Chrollo is pushin 30… T-T

Kurokura (Chrollo/Kuroro x Kurapika)

A lot of people ship them because “lol omg enemies to lovers!!” But like. This isn’t that kind of enemies to lovers hun… :// Chrollo and the troupe literally massacred the Kurta Clan with zero mercy and left Kurapika alone and almost defenseless in an unfamiliar world. He destroyed everything Kurapika had. That’s not something Kurapika would or will forgive easily. Kurapika is literally destroying himself inside out because of what the troupe did to the Kurta Clan. This ship is just ugh it’s so toxic I hate >:(

Also again, even if Chrollo didn’t destroy the Kurta Clan, age difference. Kurapika’s the same age as Neon (17-19) and Chrollo is PUSHING 30!!!!! Icky!!!

Tbh this goes for any of the Troupe x Kurapika… gross age difference and disgusting enemies to lovers dynamic.

Pitokai (Neferpitou x Kite/Kaito)

One of my biggest icks ever is Victim x Killer because like how would YOU feel if you were violently murdered for seemingly no reason and then find out that there are people out there who think you and your killer would be cute if you dated O.O

Yeah it’s like… really toxic. I don’t have the energy to go into all the details of it but Killer x Victim has no reason to be as popular as it is…

Wisky (Wing x Bisky)

Teacher x Student dynamics really ick me as well… in most but not all cases the teacher is somewhat of a parental figure and the student is very young, in most cases a minor!!! We don’t exactly know if Wing was a kid when Bisky taught him nen since she refers to most people younger then as kids but the idea that she was extremely influential in his earlier years and has that older adult figure role in his life makes the idea of shipping them just.. it makes my skin crawl tbh ^^|||

Also there’s a HUGE age difference with Bisky being 57 and Wing being in his early 20s.

Gingkite (Ging x Kite/Kaito)

Again w the teacher x student guys… the same reasons as with Wisky expect we know for a fact that Ging met and started training Kite when he was a teenager! Makes this extra icky.

Again with the age difference! Ging is in his 30s I think maybe 40s? And Kite is in his early 20s. Pretty big age gap!!!

Any incestous Zoldyck ships

The fact that I even have to state this… dude… c’mon…. Incest is NOT cool chat!!

Any ships between the siblings? DISGUSTING!!

Between the kids and the parents? GRODY!!

Between Zeno and his grandkids? OUTRAGEOUS!!

This isn’t even just limited to the Zoldyck family dude… Mito x Ging is a thing apparently…

Any Child x Adult

Again… why do I need to state this… shipping adults x children is WEIRD!!! And NOT OK!!!

Hisoka x Gon? GROSS!!

Merupouf (Meruem x Shaiapouf)

Gonna be so fr w you guys… I used to ship this… i thought they were funny :’) I’VE RECOVERED DW!!! (/lh)

Uh yeah so the power dynamic is really erm!!! /neg I genuinely cannot go into detail about how toxic they are but I’ll try to summarize… Pouf has like a perfected version of Meruem in his head as the king but when Meruem starts to change for the better he rejects it and thinks he knows what’s best for the king and shit!!! Also Meruem treats his Royal guards like shit (at the beginning) their relationship gets only slightly better towards the end but it’s still abusive!!!

Also my friend pointed out that the Royal guards exist solely for Meruem. Like they are Meruem and Meruem only. Everything is for him and that adds like a super fucked up dynamic to this ship…

Also forgot to mention earlier, ANTCEST. All the chimera ants came from the same mom so shipping them is really weird even if they don’t all see eachother as siblings

 So the only thing that I could come up with other than a kind of family reunion scene, which obviously would never be a thing is them having a way to touchy PE teacher because they are always touchy so I hope everybody is OK with that And if you aren’t well, then, too bad because it takes me time and energy and effort to make these stories and I also have to think about things even though they are requested so it’s even harder but that’s OK

Feitan-his first thought it would be to ask his kid what is going on in private and what else has this PE teacher done to make them uncomfortable  after his kid explained everything even if it wasn’t that bad, nobody is going to be touchy to his kid and not receive a major consequence and of course he skin the PE teacher alive in the gym because he has no chill

Phinks-he would not pull his kid aside he would pull the PE teacher aside, and he would tell the PE teacher to smarten the fuck up and to never touch his kid ever again not even a little high five or a pat on the back nothing and God for bid phinks sees the PE teacher, touching his kid again. Oh my God he will rip his body apart in front of all of the kids and parents and teachers. 

Nobunaga-he would immediately grab the PE teacher by their shirt, collar or sweater. Whatever they are wearing, and he would start punching them in the face and just beating the hell out of them and yes, you best believe his kid was watching the entire thing go down

Chrollo-he’s a little more old fashion and nice about it he takes it up with the principal and he has a talk with his kid about it in private and then also with the principal not only that he keeps an eye on his kid and the PE teacher and if the PE teacher does anything else  he will take the PE teacher into a private room, or the staff room, a place where only the teachers can go and he will make it a very gory scene and then he will leave a little note, telling everybody to not ever touch his kid in any way, shape or form

illumi-honestly there would be no chance of something like that ever happening because he would make sure butlers are always by his kid at all times, and he would try his best to keep an eye on his kid as much as possible, and his kid would definitely be homeschooled the same way that he was along with the rest of his siblings (sorry if you really wanted to see some thing like that with illumi but I just can’t imagine it happening as it would never happen and nobody in their family would be too touchy at all at most a little pat on the head or a two second hug)

Hisoka-this man literally wouldn’t notice anything off because he is super touchy himself, so why would he notice anything but eventually his kid would come complaining to him about it and at first he would just think that his kid is lying or something like that because some kids do things like that to get teachers that they don’t like in trouble but once he actually witnesses it for himself, he follows the PE teacher home and slit their throat, and he make sure that there is blood everywhere and of course he would make sure that there is no trace of him even though he doesn’t really care he just wants it to be a little mystery. All for his sick way of fun.

Silva-if I couldn’t think of anything for illumi I know damn well I will not be able to think of anything for Silva again there is like no way that that would ever happen. He would definitely be even more cautious than illumi because he doesn’t want anything happening to his kid and he doesn’t want to hear kikyo yell at him, and just annoy him (sorry if you wanted to see something like this with Silva)

 that’s it for today everyone I am sorry if it seems kind of half assed, I promise you I wasn’t rushing this time. It was just kind of hard to think of a sort of scenario that would fit these characters but I hope everybody enjoyed it. it was honestly pretty fun making!

*a human of the tribe of light of course had to stumble upon a broken, near the edge of death darkling. yet the color of his eyes, his blood, his skin --- it mattered not- this was a being with a soul who needed saving. the human cared for lucifer until he woke, in bed with a horrible fever. he looked around- what a strange room... where was he?

*the human walks in with clean pads. 'oh, you're awake. here, let me replace your bandages. oh, you're shivering... i'll make you an elixir with these herbs i've gathered- should help the infection. here, can you lift your head?' lucifer blinks in surprise- the realization dawns on him. he's in a human home- and there's the owner. he loses his head as he scrambles to get away- he knows all too well how humans feel about him - and how he's meant to feel about them as well. he falls out of the bed, a searing pain in his left side- is he truly hurt this bad? he can't even drag himself away. the human looks on with concerned eyes- 'do not be afraid- please, let me help you . . .'

*in the short respite lucifer had staying in the house of the human in the village of light, he had come to realize his own prejudices about humans and how he had such a warped perspective on them- this human knew nothing of him, how he and his tribe hated humans so, how had this been the other way around, where lucifer stumbled upon a dying human- well, lucifer couldn't say for sure that he'd help them. to have so much compassion for everything living under the sun... lucifer looks upon the human's face as they clean his injuries once again. they smile, and he reddens.

*naturally the two fall in love- hidden trysts under the moonlight, secret rendezvous in the enveloping fog- the two knew their love for each other was a double-edged sword- while they love each other so deeply and unconditionally, others- both of the light and dark- wouldn't come to such understanding as easily as them two. once word caught on that the prince of darkness had been stealing away at night to meet with a human, lucifer's father wasn't pleased. and he made sure everyone knew how he disapproved of the human- 'why are you avoiding me, mc? ... these marks... mc, is my father behind this? mc... i...'

*lucifer had enough of his father's dictating ways and the responsibilities of the tribe outweighing his own desires- he begs the human to run away with him- 'we'll find a place accepting of our love. please, marry me! i promise i'll make you happy!' and with tears in their eyes and a smile upon their lips, the two kiss. . .

*as lucifer readied to make his escape, his father was a step ahead- 'you did not heed my warning- i told you if you continue to see that human, it'll spell out consequences not just for you- but them as well. don't you see, lucifer? you have killed your one true love. they are not in this world- not in any world. i've cursed them to spent the rest of their pathetic days wandering between dimensions, never to be seen or heard again.'

*lucifer had spent years upon years searching far and wide through every dimension known to them. and had come up fruitless- the human was truly, truly gone. and a world without them... any world without them was not worth saving. lucifer returned to his tribe- a hearty welcome from his father, immediately shut up by lucifer who demanded the dark prognosticus, the ancient tome the tribe protected for millennia. the dark prognosticus foretold of the end of the world- all worlds. the tribe had to protect it lest everything, everyone would be reduced to ashes and dust. little did they know, the very protection of it would inevitably cause whatever the book prophesized- lucifer took the book, read its pages- he will destroy every known dimension to this empty and hollow universe- nothing matters anymore, not without them.

*and of course, the story can't end like that. little did anyone know, a small voice calls out to a young angel. 'uke.... lu.... luke!' he awakens, confronted with a small little butterfly, wings shining iridescently. 'hm... blue eyes, golden hair... chihuahua-like demeanor... you must be the hero of the light prognosticus! please, you must save us all!'

am i the only person who sees no solid proof of inuyasha loving kikyo more in either manga or anime? Like I love dog boy, but most of his promises/devotion to kikyo to me only seemed to be born out of survivors guilt and it never really felt like he was in love with her anymore after she was revived. To me they always seemed like empty promises because he never…. protects her? after he said he would, like yes he would check in on her every now and then but then he’d leave her alone and go back to kagome. People always say they feel bad for kagome when he leaves her but tbh i pity kikyo more because he only goes to check on her for a few mins then goes back to the person he actually wants to be around. And that whole ep47 goes down the drain bc a) they never bring up him going to hell with her again and b) he and kagome immediately reconcile and it’s like he forgets about his promise to kikyo he made literally the ep before. Sometimes it feels like kikyo was just a plot device for inukag and it reminds me of that one interview when rumiko said something along the lines of adding in kikyo scenes because she liked the tension she created. idk it just confuses me when people say anime inukag is bad when to me it’s not, i mean i obvs prefer the manga but yeah.

You definitely aren’t the only one who thinks there wasn’t enough solid proof of Inuyasha’s romantic feelings toward Kikyo. I say “romantic” specifically because most of their interactions throughout the story were purely transactional. However moments in chapters 173-176 did have more intimate undertones to it, with Inuyasha pulling Kikyo back into his arms and telling her to call him if she needs him. Which btw, they absolutely butchered that sweet moment in the anime with her pulling a KNIFE on him (lol ok sunrise) But aside from that and her final death scene, there wasn’t much there indeed.

Kikyo kissed him early on, he didn’t exactly reciprocate her kiss, he just stood there and I think his intention was to appease her tormented soul. Afterall, most of his emotions towards her stem from guilt. He cares about her a great deal but not enough to actually be there by her side day in and day out. Hell, the episode right after, Miroku calls him out on wanting to become a full demon because he wishes to protect Kagome. It didn’t take long for his selfish goals (tessaiga, full demon blood to strengthen him) to become resources to protect Kagome instead. The sword pulses when it wants Inuyasha to protect her and I think it’s a lot to do with the fact that she was the one who pulled out the sword. Also, as @inukag referenced before, it’s been said by Inuyasha that tessaiga and himself are one soul. And because of that, the sword senses how much Kagome means to its master.

It’s Kagome that he reassures/tries to calm down. Never did he reassure Kikyo about anything regarding his and Kagome’s relationship. Not that Kikyo’s jealousy was shown as much as Kagome’s but still. It’s there.

Kikyo served an important role in Inuyasha and Kagome’s relationship coming to be and aside from that, she definitely was the reason for tension between them too. Then again, Koga was too. His persistence in wooing Kagome pissed Inuyasha off so much, and despite him being the feudal feminist, he did harbour feelings of possessiveness with Kagome.

Kagome would have rather had Inuyasha all to herself as well, without Kikyo’s interference. Inuyasha and Kagome had really similar insecurities stemming from their feelings for eachother.

Sinrise Studios butchered a lot of InuKag moments and omitted them completely. If fans are only watching the anime, I get that they aren’t convinced that they’re a great pairing.

Becoming a Family With Him, Part 3 // Shuichi, Hikaru, Rhion, Luke, Eisuke

so this came out, as further celebration for the anni. VERY GOOD, much more appreciated than the prior story set lol that one was kind of boring but i get it

they made the kids for all the... kid-less ones, and the eisuke one that used to be VIP-exclusive is now here for everyone to buy (rip those ppl who gacha for it)

my rambling behind the cut (spoilers!!)

shuichi // as ud expect, shuichi has a literal hime ass looking girl (kikyo) for a daughter. she’s only 6, but is pretty calm and ladylike. She even calls her parents with –sama so... ok luckily shuichi does not strip down all the way in the presence of her daughter and only takes off his suit coat. thanks dad

anyway since shuichi has a break coming up, he wants to have a family trip how nice. but then the dang girl wants to go over to see eisuke WHAT when soryu exists and lives a block away? unrelatable, im closing the app anyway eisuke is her first love, which wtf he’s like 20 yrs older than u. even worse, mc says she’s been in love since she was like 3.

shuichi is reconsidering the benefits of democracy in his mind but eventually relents. but then they’re still following the fucc-days rule they set years ago. well, as he says in the story, RULES ARE RULES

blah blah i don’t want to go over everything bc then it’ll be boring reading the story when it comes out in engl right? also im tired bc it’s 1 am and i just want to play toontown in bed but nothing really bad happens. they are a v cute family bc shuichi is a pleasant and mature dad. kikyo and mc even do a little surprise for him at the end and it is very sweet. i feel like out of all the families, this is the most ideal

mad hatter // so they have twin sons named Rui and Kai. Rui is the childlike one that resembles Rhion in personality, Kai is the more mature one that resembles Al. man i forget that boy’s name but u get me i know they only can use stock bgs but it’s killing me that these dang kids get to sleep in what looks like separate king sized beds.

even though rhion is now a father of two, he still acts like... 10. i mean he still horni but it makes me feel weird

later it’s revealed that Ota teaches them both as an art tutor bc they both showed an interest in art. this is cute bc ota is bad with kids in this universe LOL

the ending on this one was weird cuz the kids didn’t show up in the entirety of the last ep bc it was about WORK. so uh... interesting

hikaru // so their son is named akari. haha get it because it means light. like how hikaru also means light. can mc name her kids unrelated to their father or is that against the Geneva convention

this kid actually acts like an actual little boy. like what hikaru would’ve probably turned into if not for the whole sad backstory. the story starts with akari just bringing a dog randomly home one day. he actually saved the dog (it is very cute bc he did not want the dog to cry), and then after a talk they decide to keep the dog as long as akari knows the responsibility of taking care of an animal.

so next day, the bidders come over to their house and everyone’s like woaw a dog. lol they come into their house as guests and eisuke and mamo still demand for beverages, they all suck

akari names the dog... “Light” (Raito) and i want out of this nightmare. Naturally bc Light is an abandoned dog it’s still kind of bad with interacting with things. But then Light suddenly be giving the ( ╹ਊ╹) to soryu bc remember, animals love him. everyone clowns on soryu for being an unintentional dog whisperer and then akari is like “soryu san pls make me ur apprentice” and he gives some advice like approaching it slowly, and talking to it from the front instead of back.

blah blah there’s a situation where Light goes YEET after a Doberman gets all angry and then hides bc then another dog is scaring it. hikaru swoops in to the save the day as the Real Dog Whisperer. ok it’s cute when hikaru actually gets to look cool  for once LOL

luke // luke is cute on the bc “pre-story” scene he’s actually pretty open to the idea of having kids; he actually goes “well imo we should think abt it pretty soon, but i wanted to hear ur opinion on it” but then he gets horni. and then he’s like “our kids are going to have your collarbones. awesomeee im looking forward to that” ....ok

ok cut to the actual story and they’re in Japan. Luke’s kid looks... strange versus the others. why are his eyes so big? omg voltage his eyes arent going to be saucers just cuz he half white also the kid’s name is Yuri (Or Urey). They couldn’t think of any other Brit-styled names? Like Harry? Henry? William? Wilfred? hey stan be my princess btw he’s pretty cute, though he gives serious “timid kid that gets bullied in the children’s movie” vibes. He calls Luke “daddy” and mc “mammy/mommy”.

so luke talks about his relationship w/ soryu and eisuke and then yuri is like “i want friends like that” wow cute but also find less ethically-complicated friends

so luke lets yuri meet a young patient of his (haru) so they can be friends. they get along so it’s good. haru gets in critical condition later so luke zooms outta there to do the operation.

LOL but at the end yuri is like, “i want to make more friends. (...) can i go to the bidder’s room from now on?” this boy works fast

And then he’s like “Eisuke-san... please be my friend.” HIS POWER. even eisuke was like :O so then eisuke orders a whole bunch of food and books up to the penthouse. But then yuri’s like “...i like eisuke’s eyes” and everyone’s like oh man that’s gonna be his fetish

eisuke // ok this gets an extended ramble bc the more annoying the story the longer i must complain

so you might be thinking, “oh so this is gonna be a flashback in some in media res styled story with your 2 kids, u know in the style of the others” and well, no you just go straight to white screen into the flashback, back when eito was smaller and thus a little more cute. well it’s not really false advertising bc they did say “reminisce” in the description. but i wanted to see eito be a good big brother for a moment! or... less good? man i wanted to see kaito go waaaah like a baby idk i wanted to see him exist

so back to the story they cut to small eito. even as a smaller punk he does fight with his dad a little, just w/ a more narrow vocabulary to work with. tho at this point he’s still pretty sweet so clearly eisuke clowning him day and night was a negative effect on his development. (doesn’t treat his child like a child) (child grows up to a punk that doesn’t respect him) (surprised pikachu) being the son of a billionaire means that this child has to go study at a very young age and listen to MOZART. no child of eisuke ichinomiya will be listening to degenerate bops like lee taemin’s criminal next day they all go to the very fancy school that eito will be attending. eisuke does a speech, but then eito is all like “why is papa over there all the time” in reference to how all the other parents in attendance are having fun with their children, but eisuke is busy talking to other people for business and connections etc. etc. mc kind of has a hard time trying to explain it to eito bc... it’s honestly poor parenting... eiji shows up after arriving late, and he’s like “gramps is gonna be with ya today! instead of papa” which is cute but then she’s like psst thanks for coming and im like oh... so grandpa just didn’t randomly come to the open house for fun he’s just gonna be surrogate dad while real dad is busy... aw... and then at the end eito’s like FUC THIS KINDERGARTEN. eisuke is like “(smh) don’t yell in public. (despite everything) you are still the eldest son of the Ichinomiya family”

and so afterwards it’s clear that eito does not want anything to do with this school. he just sits in the classroom until mc is there to pick him up instead of playing in the courtyard or w/e, wanting nothing to do with the other kids.

so later there’s a hiking trip for the students and both of their parents, and mc asks eisuke if he’ll be available for it. eisuke is like, “i have a business trip that day, so I’ll have to adjust my schedule” and he’s been very busy in the opening of a new business or w/e. mc tells him to not do so much for something like that and that it’s ok if she goes alone with eito on the trip.

it’s the day of the trip, and mc goes alone with eito. she notes that a lot of dads did indeed come along for the trip. she apologizes to eito and says that she did talk to eisuke about the trip before, but he’s simply busy for this day. and im like... but girl, you were the one who told him not to change his schedule for the trip. yes a trip may seem less important than business ventures, but don’t make it sound like you weren’t the one who stopped him. lol. idk why im pressed abt this single line of dialogue bc later she does realize she fucced up there well eito is just like w/e about it and has pretty much accepted that sort of thing

anyway eito goes missing later and one of the kids said that he told eito that his dad (eisuke) didn’t come bc his dad thinks that his work is more important than his son. so eito got mad and ran off somewhere

and then mc finally gets the lightbulb moment that eito... wants to see his dad!! he ran off to go try to see him somehow??? !! wow so sweet

it’s raining like a mf but then in her search for eito eisuke randomly pops out of nowhere. He’s like “ho i did not remember saying that i wasn’t coming” and she’s like “im sorrryyy” and both me and him are like “just find the dang kid”

ok yea they find eito, he starts being a good student, and u start to see where he starts being antagonistic towards his dad LOL etc. etc. lol this story annoyed me so i don’t feel like doing the rest of the play by play orz

1. the time before abashiri when he explained his plan and the excuse he's going to give to his superiors for the prison getting trashed. honest to god gave me chills. he wasn't even far off! because as funny as the otter nabe scene was, it was included in the manga to show what is a locust plague and what damages it can bring. it's just the fact that he has such unwavering confidence that he can place high risk bets and win because he can read his opponents like an open book and knows how to cheat the system. and when he looked back and was like "survivors? you expect ME to leave any survivors?"... girl...

2. when he figured that something is off when he saw that dead nikaido's belt had blood on it. "why did you take his clothes off, sugimoto?". sherlock holmes larping ass...

3. early quirky shenanigans; biting off his superior's finger before ordering his assassination, licking tables and guns (unsanitary), stabbing sugimoto through the cheek with a wooden skewer just to confirm his identity (tsurumi's saliva has been inside sugimoto's mouth btw. and also he stabbed him off-screen again too...), deepthroating a phone speaker, demonstratively cutting off people's ears and noses in front of his men, etc etc. i like pretentious subdued tsurumi too (he became like this after his backstory was revealed) but when he was full-on theatrics he was just so great

4. when he was threatening ariko and started naming off his whole family tree. he's had his reasons to do extensive research on ariko only of course but i like to think that he has a very detailed mental file on every single one of his men, or at least the important ones. he also tracked down wilk and kiroranke's identities. just the way the fact that he is a damn good intelligence officer is highlighted is so nice

5. when he killed sofia and was like well _you_ i forgive, now, with this, and your death is the only appropriate price. chilling... i mean everyone knows that he's ruthless, but it was enforced here how he's a man who will not forgive a slight. and also when he calmly shot kikuta. and also when he got stabbed through the hand with a bayonet but not let go of asirpa's quiver and pulled his hand off THROUGH the blade without flinching. and also-

1. ok the show girlbossification of sansa stark is stupid but they kinda served when they made her feed ramsay to his dogs and had her sister slit littlefinger's throat before an audience. i hope she has a hand in littlefinger's death in the books too

Ok my brain went overdrive since rewatching the previous episode and I thought of an idea on Kirinmaru, as usual spoilers will be ensured

Yes Yasahime has dropped another bombshell, and like all of us we are freaking out WTF did sesshomaru did (me too, same…same…), and we realise that Root Head is just a pawn for a bigger picture.

As I was thinking of the origin of his name, I was like shit I heard it somewhere, and weirdly it came from Nioh which one of the characters have a Kirin as his guardian spirit.

(Ok I looked it up much later LOL LOL and its name is Enku but the creature is the one which I researched)

Just a quick piece of that creature, so this chimera which shared both Japanese and Chinese mythology took its wild appearance of horse, dragon and deer, is a benevolent figure who refused to eat meat of others and tread gently on lands. However it dire circumstances, it could vengeance to the land. And it is often a symbol of a ruler’s passing or arrival. 

And I was thinking, what if the writers twist the lore of Kirin of it to show the cruelty of the world, and I am thinking of how it relates to Toga (which BTW great lore ideas since we barley know him as a character expect few mentions mostly notably the third film: Sword of the Honourable Ruler and the Pearl episode) and I thought of something happened in the past which caused that resentful, so I am thinking of the lines of Anakin Skywalker/ Obi Wan in the Star wars Prequel or Avatar with Soizin/Avatar Roku

So here I go, so both demon lords; mainly Inu No Taisho and Kirinmaru are brothers in arms- initially they do share a bond to watch over the demons, and see who went powerful, of course Kirin does have good intentions and slowly Toga realized it too despite his immersive powers to basically kill anyone. I mean for real anyone.

However they made a rule that they could not connect with a human, as it will soften their visions, which is unfortunate in Toga's case- as in OG lore Inu no Taisho fell in love with a human and hence birth Inuyasha. So Toga realising that humans are weak, needed a hero so he kinda fashioned himself to that-hence the original lore of the series

So Kirin went desperate and decided to conspire with the tree of ages, then dormant, and then it refused such evil-however with the heightening of the evils in the OG series- the tree took a warped state (hence taking the form of Kikyo for her jealously and betrayal from Inuyasha) and soon come by Kirin's agreement which sets the series in motion.

I know, long stretch but I feel it would make a dynamic move and perhaps add motivation to the words told by the Tree of Ages to defend him (Maybe to spur his plans further in the tree’s part.

Plus I am thinking it will make things interesting.

This is a super cute idea, Gon and Killua would totally be best friends growing up from children and they definitely have a darker side that would make them very efficient in the Horde..........the question is who would be ‘She-Ra’? I can see Killua being the ‘chosen one’ and Kikyo or maybe Gotoh acting as Light Hope. But Gon would also work, with Ging acting as the Light Hope role and Gon dragging Killua off to find the source of where he came from and how the First Ones disappeared!

this one’s easy, the first one that comes to mind is inukik. the fandom had definitely helped me open my eyes to not be a hater against kikyo (i wouldn’t say i hated her, but i used to not like the idea of her with inuyasha, ya know?) and to just be openminded in shipping in general (especially samesex couples)!! if it weren’t for the fandom, i wouldn’t be enjoying ships like inukog, kagsan, kagukik… the list goes on!!

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

if it’s anything inuyasha related..? hmm…. probably character/ship bashing (especially kikyo). i used to be so into those arguments of “kikyo’s in the way of inukag!!” just cuz i didn’t really understand her character when i was younger!! in all honesty i hate any bashing towards a person in general~

i’ve been on this site since before i started highschool and i’m in college now, and i’m so happy to say i have never gotten anon hate on any of my blogs!!!

oh my god anon so i was looking through the list of inuyasha characters to remind myself if there was anyone and then i got to mukotsu i was like “oh yeah… that motherfucker…”

oh man forgive me anon, i’m actually not the type to care much for arcs of a show!! as long as the story as a whole flows fine, i usually don’t mind!! though, i will say that it did bug me a bit when the story changed from a “mystery, ghost-hunting” story to a more shounen story. knowing that rumiko had intended it to be a more darker themed story, it felt way more light hearty (???) at the end, if that makes sense?? i mean i still love it either way, but that’s just my personal opinion!

13. Unpopular opinion about XXX character?

alright imma do inuyasha just to keep it in general (lemme know if you guys want me to talk about the other characters)! i actually have….a few for him. first being his ears did not wiggle enough!!!! i think it just comes from owning a dog and cats too, but animals are very expressive with their ears, so i feel he would be the same. my second one being i personally…. don’t like it when people focus too much on the… dog part. i guess i see him too much as a person, so it just throws me off when people refer to him as a “puppy”, ya know? i mean don’t get me wrong i totally get it and it’s such a cute nickname for him, but man do i crave him having difficulty accepting himself as half demon. i hope that makes sense kasljfldklsdkg and last but not least, i feel the best songs that fit inuyasha’s character are songs by my fav artist, logic! here’s an example that i’ve made a comic about too!

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

oh gosh!!! first would be giving kagome more variety in her outfits. or atleast… let her wear her summer uniform!!! also add in the missing scenes from the manga to the anime, to make it more accurate. and i’d personally would have done the ending a bit differently too, instead of immediately seeing how kagome’s life in the feudal era would be, it’d be set it a few years into the future. we could see miroku and sango’s kids being more older, see the kids like rin, kohaku, and shippo, as teens, and seeing inukag in their married life!!

26.Most shippable character?

yall….. dead ass it’s inuyasha… like… any possible ship there is for him, i dig it. and ironically after inu bb, it’s kikyo…… it’s so easy for me to see them two happy like they should’ve been

27. Least shippable character?

that’s sesshomaru for me! like don’t get me wrong, i’ve read some p instense stuff of him with miroku, koga, and kagome and i’ve enjoyed them, but lookiing at it from a canon sense, he really doesn’t give a damn about other people, so he’s always given me the impression that he likes to be alone.

Hi, anon! Welcome to the fandom. ☺️ Ah that is such a silly statement lol; especially because Inuyasha’s love for Kagome goes way, way, beyond her looks. Yes, in the beginning, he compared her appearance with Kikyo but with time, he made it clear to her that he sees Kagome as Kagome. Nobody else. (Manga only quote btw)

As to who he loved more, I think it’s Kagome. He loved Kikyo too but ultimately he spent most of his time with Kagome. I think that, at its core, is a huge indicator. If he so chose, he could have left a long time ago. He still does go to Kikyo throughout the series but he always, always comes back to Kagome. Inuyasha has a huge heart, he wanted to make sure Kikyo was ok and soothe her tormented soul. So just because he chose to stay by Kagome’s side, doesn’t mean he stopped caring about Kikyo.
