Fascinating how many contemporary socioeconomic frameworks (and associated problems) in the euro-anglo-western countries point back to policy decisions made during and immediately after WWI.

#(given wwii was a consequence of wwi and its socioeconomic policies too)#deconstructing in detail the truly problematic housing shortage in my particular area and how it keeps pointing back to wwi decisions #so many examples of shit going wrong in the econ textbooks all pointing back to wwi #is it a bias in that everyone from then is mostly dead so they can freely use the example; or that it's been long enough to now recognise-#-impact; or just that stuff ever *since* then has got too intersectional and complex to create simple if-then scenarios
