Night!!! I have a most important question!!!! So, Scarlet and Crimson know Spanish right? Do any of the other skeleladies know other languages too??

Ohoho, it has been asked at last!! ✧(ô▿ô )

The answer is a resounding yes.

Each of the Lilytale sister pairs are trilingual, but in different languages for the third!

Here’s the breakdown! All the ladies speak English, Sign Language (for simplicity’s sake I’m saying American Sign Language, but in-canon it’d be a monster dialect), and:

Serif & Vellum: Italian

Sapphire & Amber: French

Crimson & Scarlet: Spanish

Pepper & Cinnamon: Old Norse

Blade & Twist: German

Glyph: Japanese (and she can read most chinese characters)

and Alpha is an exception: the first extra language she knew/learned was Russian, but being AI, she can speak/read any language that is documented online.

They’ve also all taken interest in each other’s language, + then some, so all the girls speak at least a little of one another’s languages, and have expanded a bit beyond there per their tastes & as time allows~!
