Well, he was right, even if she wouldn't outright admit it out of spite. Alice's reaction might be quite understandable due to her being constantly under the threat of being caught, or misunderstood by others after discovering her nature. Overall, it's a hard time for her, honestly. But, right now, she has an actual person who's not afraid, not outraged and is trying to reach out to her. Shouldn't she be happy about it?

Even if she is, she can't accept it fully yet. She's been in survival mode for too long now. Not to the point of being in a constant rage, or being blinded by it, though, she can see through his concern and recognize it as one. However, she's a bit far away from admitting it. The one thing she's admitted is that she's indeed intent to do out of all the options she has.

Hence it's so hard for her to demonstrate the weakness she has, but, because it's between them two, she's not that eager to become enraged. She's softening even more just to show first she's ready to cooperate, though it's hard for her to tell it directly.

Alice Whiterose is a second-year student at Night Raven College and a member of Heartslabyul Dorm. A shy and introverted girl, she often got anxious if there are too many strangers around her. However, she can be very passionate and devotional when it comes to working.

APPEARANCE: Alice is a young girl with shoulder length white hair that tied into twintails styles, wavy bangs covering her forehead and long side bangs. She have droopy blue eyes with a small red rose patch under her right eyes and wear a pair of dark blue glasses. Often got misunderstood as a first year because of her height and petite figures, though she doesn't show her uncomfortableness outside on her face. Alice also doesn't like to let her hair down naturally because it's easily got disheveled. Alisa state that she jealous because she have a "greater body" than her (which Alice quickly debase this but it's actually the truth)

In her Dorm uniform, she wear a white collar shirt with black-and-red striped necktie under a red vest. Over the vest she wears the blazer that others in her dorm wear ( except for Riddle ). She wear a white skirt with a black and yellow ribbon and a chain of 4 keys around her waist, black-and-red tights with heart patterns and red-and-white high tops.

PERSONALITY: Alice usually seen as a shy girl with somewhat gentle aura around her (as stated by others). A little clumsy and easily got scared, she usually got teased for being "jumpy" whenever something scares her. As a child, Alice got taught to not talking to strangers unless they're her friend's acquaintance, so it's understandable why she's bad with open up a conversation. If she found someone have the the same hobby/like the same things as her, she'll talk with them non-stop about it and even forgot about the time. Alice does state that she hates that habit of her and tried to fix it until today ( but failed anyway )

Sometimes, people got weirded out by her strange habit of talking to plants and magical creatures during classes. The reason is that she think they're also like human, they need someone to understand them. Her gestures are very gentle and delicate, you could see this clearly whenever she take care of the plants in the school's garden. She also often talk with a soft and respectful voice, even at underclassmen. You might think she's slow, but the truth is that she actually have short stamina, so she can't run fast or holding heavy things. Part of it is also because she have a fragile body at birth, so her mother become very strict about her movements (hence why her gestures are very gentle).

It might make you think "She should be in Pomefiore instead!", but, the reason she got sorted into Heartslaybul is simple. Her passion and ambition towards works. She also doesn't like to live by her own rules, she think that "rules" are part of people's live, and sometimes, you have to follow it to have a better live. While she adore beautiful things, to her, anything that good at heart is beautiful, hence why she doesn't got sorted into Pomefiore. Another reason is that she doesn't strike to be the best in beauty, to be honest, she doesn't want to be the best in anything at all. Trey did comment that: “You sure are a suitable member of Heartslabyul huh Alice? Although Riddle doesn't admit it himself, but I'm sure he must've think the same way about you too.”

“I-I actually did used to play piano... B-But, that hobby of mine used to hurt someone, so I've quit for a long time now...” - Alice's initial SSR personal story (part 3)

Used to be a piano prodigy when she's was a child, she started playing at 8 but quit after 5 years because of an accident. Ever since then, she got anxious and sweating unconsciously whenever she saw a piano. Because of that accident, she also have fear of breaking/ruining things, hence why she always have a tight grip despite the gentle gestures on things she hold (even things like doorknob). If she accidentally grab on the hem of your shirt, you'll clearly notice it. (Though don't tell it out loud or else her face will become red as Riddle's hair). And when she's on verge of getting(?) anxious, she will immediately run away to wherever her feet take her, which usually ended up at the school's Botanical Garden. To her, it's the most quiet and peaceful place at NRC, it's warm atmosphere also help her to quickly calm down as well.

UNIQUE MAGIC: "Gift of Card Suits" - ( 魔法の上書の鍵 "Magic Overwrite Keys" ) To be able to use one of the key that she carried around on other people's magic. Each key have a specific effect:

♥️ Heart: To change the effect/chosen target of anyone's magic (for example, if someone use fire magic, she can use this key to change it to other type of magic or switch the target to anyone she chose)

♠️ Spade: To be immune to any effect of anyone's magic

♣️ Clover: To dispel any effect of anyone's magic

♦️ Diamond: To double the effect of someone's magic (basically, a magic buffer)

However, she can't use Heart, Spade and Clover keys to Unique Magic(s) because it took too much mana to do so. She can also only be able to use 1 key per day, meaning if she use more than 2 keys then it'll reach the limit of her strength, and her Unique Magic will become useless if she doesn't have the keys with her (hence why she even bring it when wearing the Ceremonial Robe). Alice also stated that out of the 4 keys, Heart is the one that consume most mana so she doesn't use it usually like other keys.

BACKSTORY ( just a small part of it ):

The first thing she saw was the ground. Everything was quiet. Too quiet. She couldn't felt anything except for the cold, hard ground right beneath her feet and the broken wall on her back. Her small shoulders unconsciously shivering from the cold but she doesn't even try to warm herself. She just sit there, like a broken doll waiting for someone to notice it. Her blue orbs doesn't have any lights reflect on, as if they're dead. The only sound was ominous wind blowing on the dead trees. Her white, ripped dress were dirty as well as her used-to-be pure white hair.

Everything around her is dead.

"Oh my, what do we have here?"

A strange, deep voice suddenly speak up and break the dead silence. When she grown up, she couldn't remember much who was that, but she knows, that person was the one that changed her life. Her lifeless eyes slowly look up. Everything around her was a blur, even that person become a black silhouette. But she remembered it well.

A pair of glowing emerald orbs.

"Hmm? What's the matter, _____?"

"A human child. It seems like she's still alive..."

"Nfufu~ You sure are interested in human huh, _____?"

"...Want to bring her along?"

"...Haha! I guess that look is a "yes" then! Go on and pick her up~ If she still alive, that's it."

Then slowly, a large silhouette appeared in front of her. The little girl still sit there lifelessly, only until that person pick her up and place her into their chest, a faint shock expression slowly form on her pale face, a sign that she's still alive. For a few seconds, she panicked, and it seems like she also made that person panicked too.

"Hey now, don't panick along with her! You were supposed to comfort the child, _____!"

Slowly, a large hand awkwardly pat on her back, making the small child flinch due to the sudden contact. But after a while, her body relaxed and gradually melted into their chest. The little girl unconsciously rest her head on their shoulder while slowly drifted to sleep, a peaceful expressions reflected on her face.

The last thing she saw behind their back was a pair of glowing magenta orbs before everything went black.

1) I must say I live for your reviews. I love them. Mainly because I always agree with you. I like your idea of heroes eventually using the amulet on Gothel in the need of saving Rogers' life. And I would like Rumple to be involved in this too, bc I live for Rumple-Hook or Colin-Robert and I'd love to see Rumple's end somehow guaranteeing KnightRook's happiness. I liked the episode as the whole, but there are some things I can't get over. I've never liked Zelena,

I love how I kept reading the parts, and was nodding at them and thinking of stuff to write as a response, and then at the end I see your nickname and was, oh, the Traveler Flutist! Welcome back! I missed you

I’ll put the parts separately here so it’s clearer what I’m talking about ;)

Thank you so much! My reviews are mostly me babbling about everything I have things to say about the episodes, so I’m happy when people like them and want to discuss them with me!

I think it would be just if Gothel died to save someone else… and not entirely on her own will. She’s not just a villain, she’s a bad person overall and hasn’t done one single good thing for as long as we know her. She’s willing to sacrifice innocent people’s lives for her cause - said cause is also bad - so I think her comeuppance could be something related to that. 

I have to admit that though I was one of the biggest fans of the Gold/Hook foetp… I’m not that excited over most of their interactions this season. Perhaps it’s because they haven’t had the chance to actually have an emotional relationship - I mean, I loved/hated it when Weaver made a jab at Rogers’ disability in 7x02, I loved it when Rogers was so angry at Weaver that he pushed him against a wall, I even liked it when Weaver admitted to him that he wants to be reunited with his wife, but scenes that have no emotional impact, like the ones in 7x11… I mean, look at 2x11. Gold and Hook being absolutely furious at each other, shouting, fighting… okay that was Gold kicking Hook’s ass but still - and now having mundane scenes where the characters are just doing exposition is a bit of a downer for me :/ But I hope we get some more development… they ought to show us why Alice stayed with Rumpelstiltskin, and how Killian grew to be ok with that despite their past.

I just had the thought that since the Guardian is supposed to be a person who would sacrifice their own happiness for someone else’s… perhaps that’s exactly what the Dark One needs to do for them. If Alice is the Guardian of course, that would mean that if Killian dies then Rumpelstiltskin would exchange his life for his… plus I haven’t forgotten that the reason he is still a Dark One is because he took advantage of OG Killian’s sacrifice, so it would be meaningful if he died protecting/saving the other Killian :P

I’ve never liked Zelena, but this season she seems better to me. However I can’t enjoy her ‘Nook’, bc of the way it was used.

Yeah, as I said, I’m mostly annoyed by how they tried to redeem her. I liked her as a villain, and I’m okay with her now, but the transition from one place to the other was… pretty bad for me. I have the feeling that the nickname “Nook” rose to have very differing opinions among the fandom, some of which come from places that are very hateful towards Hook and, well, I don’t even wanna know. I mean, I hate the “handless wonder” remark but there are Hookers who loved it, so… 

Like you said, the others never seem to appreciate nor acknowledge Killian’s intelligence. Instead they are always mocking him. Do others have a problem? Sure, Killian Jones is instantly here for them, even if it means he’s gonna lose something of his own happiness. But now,when they all know about his problem, if they actually address it, it’s just dull words like ‘You will find the solution.’ I know it’s plot and they’re dragging all this plot till the end of the series, but c'mon. Also Killian Jones is a punching bag for almost everybody. I’ve never seen any character being treated like that all the time. I mean yes, I like it, but it’s only bc Colin does angst and pain SOOO believable. Hook goes through so much pain physically and psychically, but others hardly ever notice. They’ve never noticed. It breaks my heart. 

After all those years, every time I rewatch 3x20 and this moment comes up:

David: At the very least, he can draw fire.Killian: What, now I’m cannon fodder?

I smile sadly because I’m like, “Yup. And for all seasons after that.” You know, I don’t really mind that he does go through all that (as you said, Colin does an excellent job acting it)… I mind that the writers fail to recognize that this kind of abuse has consequences on its victims. One can’t walk out of a torture session and be all la-di-da-di-da afterwards. Not even torturers themselves. And it’s not only Killian, but I feel like he’s the one shown to be going through the worst.

To be perfectly honest, one reason I love Wish Hook is because I don’t have to pretend that the Underworld torture never happened, like I did with OG Hook, since they never gave him any chance to actually react to it. Wish Hook’ was obviously hurt by being separated from Alice, and we get to see his hurt from that, even through Rogers.

And yeah, I too understand it’s because of plot they’re dragging out Killian finding a cure for his poisoned heart, it’s not the first time they dragged out something that crucial… but it’s so sad to see all that. It’s favouring the plot over the characters, and it’s making them look stupid.

This season is good, really, but it’s always been plot over characters, but damn, there’s so much packed in one episode now. Like way too much plot. In the beggining they set up Rogers-Henry-Roni team up and where did it lead? Also I think even tho Andrew is suppossed to be ‘the leader’ and he is so perfect as Henry, he is awfully underused. Also that Rapunzel ending scene was awful. And the dialogue between my faves Rogers and Weaver too. 'Are you okay?’ and then Weaver’s statement of obvious 'She is dead. ’ Like… really?

Oh, boy, that set-up. Those writers clearly don’t know shit about setting something up. They’ll spend the beginning of the season/half-season setting something, as if it’s important and wow!, and then they’ll just turn it around and at the end they’ll present something totally unrelated and they’ll pretend it’s a “plot twist!” instead of lazy writing… And it just drives me mad how Andrew is perfect for an adult Henry, but they’ve favoured plot and twists over that. Just so many missed opportunities. 

Yeah, there were so many lines in 7x11 that were so awkward… but then again, it was written by A&E, and it’s been so long that I’ve truly enjoyed an episode written directly by them.

"I can't believe we broke the bed" (Wolfstar) They may be Wizards in the midst of training for a possible war, but are still teenagers in their sixth year at Hogwarts. And teenagers do stupid things, like Pajama Parties... and with that, Spin the Bottle.

“I can’t believe we broke the bed”

There was no way to tell who looked more shocked, Sirius Black or Remus Lupin. The broken bed belonged to Severus Snape, who was nowhere to be found for the boy’s sake. In fact, Slytherin’s dorm was pretty empty in a kinda suspicious way, but none of the boys could give a flying rat’s ass about that - at least for now -, since their priority was to leave the bedroom as soon as they could.

Earlier in that day.

James Potter thought that would be a great idea to throw a sleepover on his dorm that night. Things had gotten so stressful lately with the possible war coming, and the excessive training - not to mention the upcoming tests -, so he came across this brilliant idea, and decided to call a few of the closest friends to join him and try to have some fun, or at least try.

Sirius, Remus, Lily, Marlene, Peter, Arthur, Molly, Frank, Alice, Dorcas and a few more colleagues were invited, and effectively showed up in the agreed time. Each one of them was in charge of bringing something to eat and something to drink. There were every flavor beans, chocolate frogs, chips, rolls and everything that they had manage to sneak up after the diner that night. Sirius and James were in charge of bringing the drinks, such as butterbeer, green ale, and even whisky, wine, vermouth and rum they dad bought some time ago from a guy in Hogsmeade, and kept safe until the perfect occasion came up, and that was it, the perfect occasion to open up those beverages.

They tried to keep it quiet to avoid bringing attention to the boys dorm, but everyone knew how noisy they actually were, so half an hour past on the pajama party and they were already singing, pillow fighting and considering playing some games beside exploding snap and snitch snatcher!, when Sirius suggested spin the bottle. The great majority there seemed to like the idea, so the boy explained the rules and everyone sat in a big circle on the floor, crossed legs and no idea of what would happen next.

First to spin the bottle was Peter. He challenged Arthur to make a quick lapdance on Molly and that was incredibly funny, because none of them knew exactly how to react, since they weren’t even close to be drunk.

The second one was Sirius, that challenged Marlene to pick someone on the circle and make out with them, and for his surprise she picked him, and the next thing happening was the two of them making out right there while the others watched, James yelling “You go pads!” and Remus trying so much not to look at them that he could open a hole on the bottle with only his stare. 

The third one was Arthur, that had James admitting he had a crush on Lily Evans, and literally no one there was a little bit surprised. He was not that good hiding his feelings, according to his friends.

The game continued, Remus was challenged to drink the rest of the vermouth remaining in the bottle, but he simply couldn’t get really drunk, his metabolism was unbelievable and everyone got really disappointed when he told them about it. Sirius was visibly drunk and finding everything really funny. Dorcas and Peter had their clothes swapped due to a challenge. Arthur had magical flames on his hair and molly had a green colored skin, that changed accordingly to her feelings. Lily’s turn to spin the bottle.

“I challenge Remus and Sirius to…” she took a brief pause, the boys were relaxed, thinking nothing really bad or humiliating could come from her. “break into Slytherin’s common room, go on Severus’ bed and, maybe make out? Yeah, that would be nice.”

The room fell in a ringing silence. 

“That… Is the… That is the most evil thing anyone could ask. Didn’t know you held such a grunge, Evans.” James was slowly clapping as Lily grinned and glared from Remus to Sirius, waiting. 

“I-I-I-we… We can’t do that, Merlin, that would-” Remus started but got interrupted middle sentence when Sirius passed his arm around him and yelled. “WE WILL DO IT. FOR YOU, EVANS.”

Everyone was really excited with the idea of that happening. James lent his invisibility cloak so they could sneak up into the room without anyone noticing them, but that was all.

The two boys could go inside the common room when Narcissa, Sirius’ cousin entered the place. They were very careful not to let anyone bump into them, and with them I mean Remus. Sirius wanted to go straight up to Severus bedroom and get things done, but the other insisted in waiting until things were calmer.

A few minutes had gone by, and the boys managed to find the right room. It was very different from their own dorm, but there was no time to discuss it. The important thing was that there was no one around. No one at all. The silence was starting to disturb the very nervous Lupin when Sirius took off the cloak, snorting.

“This place is pathetic. We could tear some things apart, or spell some casts here and there–” he started, but Remus grabbed him by the arm and pulled him closer.

“It’s too risky to play around, they can arrive at any moment now… We should… We should d-do something to make Lily think we did something and… and then we can return fast enough to the dorm-” Remus was speaking very quickly, rubbing his hands in a nervous act and couldn’t help but glare at any point of that bedroom that wasn’t the friend in front of him.

Sirius noticed very fast how tense Remus was, but the grin on his face wouldn’t vanish. He was a little bit drunk and filled with courage and determination, if he didn’t do anything right there, he wouldn’t be able to do it after, probably. So he started moving towards Remus, agreeing with whatever he was saying with a soft head shake now and then, and when the other bumped into Snape’s bed, Sirius finally answered.

“Why don’t we simply do as we were challenged to? I don’t wanna chicken out like this. Don’t you think Evans would know if we lied?” he started, and for Remus’ despair, he didn’t stop there. “Or you think she’s dumb enough to think we did something that fast?” 

There was no more room to escape behind Lupin, so it only took Sirius a small push to make the boy fall on the mattress, crawling over Remus the next instant.

“Good Goblings what are y–” Remus stopped mid-sentence when he felt Sirius hands running up from his belly to his chest from under his shirt. He winced and reached the other’s hair on the exact second he bit his neck. “You’re drunk Pads, get up!”

“I’m sober enough to know what I’m doing.” He pulled his face from the other’s neck and stared the dark eyes from a close distance.

“I don’t think so.” Remus replied, his face gained a reddish tone as things were happening. Sirius was certainly sober enough to realize Remus was not really pushing him aside nor telling him to stop because he didn’t want that. He only said he was drunk enough to think it over. The boy smirked and tucked a lock of his curled hair behind his ear. 

“I’m fine, believe me, and also, I saw your face when I was making out with Marlene earlier, and holy shit I didn’t think I’d ever see a jealous Moony.” Said that he waited some seconds just to appreciate how outraged Remus looked, and then leaned in for a kiss. The boy under him complained and cursed at first, and then slipped his hand to Sirius neck and continued the kiss. He wished he hadn’t told his friends about his metabolism, now he couldn’t blame the drinks on what was happening there.

They relocated and laid more comfortable on the bed while making out. Sirius was already shirtless and his fast fingers were undoing Remus shirt, while the other boy unzipped his jeans. At this point, Remus was on top, pulling the other’s pants, but that changed when Sirius grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him on his back again. It looked like a domination game, but both were really enjoying. Remus had already several hickeys on his skin, Sirius was not behind in this, too, his neck bruised by nails and teeth.

Remus chest was pitching, his breathe out of rhythm as Sirius reached his private parts underneath the boxer and started to massage it. Black gave the impression of being really amused by his view. Biting his lower lip and lusting for Remus’ moans and groans, enjoying threatening the other and forgetting completely where they were at that exact moment.

When Remus reached his limit, it was his turn to switch places and top Sirius, maybe threaten him a little, but he may have used too much strength, because the next sound he heard was a loud crack, as the bed they were simply went down with a even louder sound.

“I can’t believe we broke the bed.” Sirius said, seeming amused and entertained more than concerned. He laughed as he threw a malicious glare towards Remus, that was definitely shocked and starting to panic. “I think someone was really excited, uh?”

Remus stared at him with, frowning and thinking he could have forgotten what was the current situation there. He adjusted his boxers and got up, ignoring Sirius’ protests, he started to dress himself. “He need to go immediately, before someone comes to check what happened.” And only then Sirius seemed to understand the facts. Both started to get dressed as fast as they could and when they finally finished, Remus covered their bodies with James’ cloak.

“How can we proof we did something to Snape’s bed, though?” Remus asked, and Sirius hurried to grab a broken wood plank from under the broken bed. “Okay, that may work.”

They had no idea of how much time they had spent in there, but they managed to get out Slytherin’s common room and to return to their own dorm, where half their friends were wasted from drinking, and the other half, Lily, Molly and Dorcas seemed to be worried as hell.

“No need to worry ladies and gentlemen, we survived. The challenge is completed and the revenge too. Thank you, thank you.” Sirius threw the cloak aside and bent over as he thanked for something Remus couldn’t possibly understand what it was. The boy handed Lily the broken plank and explained what had happened, which leaded to the three girls and Sirius laughing really hard as Remus stood there, too embarrassed to answer any of Lily’s questions as she stopped laughing to start questioning about the things that happened before the bed has broken.
