Julia chuckled as she looked at Amos. “Oh please. I’ve been with worse guys than you” she said

Julia was working a longer shift than normal and was fairly tired to say the least. She noticed a male sitting alone for a lot longer than anyone should. The brunette stopped by the table and gave a small smile his way, “do you wanna go ahead and order ? At least let me get you something to drink, coffee? Soda? Juice?” She asked softly, feeling sympathetic towards the realization that he was possibly being stood up. @manifcst

The brunette looked down, toying with the hem of her dress as the men catcalled her from the construction site she couldn’t avoid walking past, listening to their words she let out a sigh, wondering how far Jersey was. She sent him a text as she stopped at the little bookshop across from them men, running a hand through her straightened locks. ‘I’m at Lily’s Bookshelf on Maple, these construction workers are so sketch. Cat calling and stuff. Hella uncomfy’

The brunette was very surprised at how forward the male was, she usually wouldn’t say yes to a total stranger. She nodded and got his tea, setting it down before him. “Do you wanna eat here or go somewhere different?” She asked curiously.
mxxnlightmuses:
Julia looked to the male, “I love the Chocolate Espresso shakes. If you’re not a shake or coffee person, then the flavored sweet teas are good as well.” She smiled softly, “I have a little longer, if you’re able to stick around, I’m starving so getting food was on my agenda when I clock out.”
Nicolas nodded his head as he listened to her choices, all which did sound good. “I might try a sweet tea actually, nothing against shakes or coffee just feeling something a little lighter.” He chuckled softly as he watched her, his smile growing on his lips. “Well, how about I buy us dinner? I’d love to know you better.”

“They honestly were, I wanted to just punch them in their faces. That or just make them feel very uncomfortable like they did me.” She shrugged, “I know you spend more time with me but it won’t bother me if you wanna spend more time with them- I love being with you but I know I get enough of myself after a while.” Julia let out a laugh. “I heard they were hiring so I was thinking of applying as a waitress there.” The brunette set the books on the counter and paid for them, taking the bag in hand.
“They were such creeps. I guess it’s flattering but like so creepy.” She shrugged a bit, leaning into him as his arms were around her. “You blew off a day with the boys to hangout with Lil ol me?” She spoke in dramatic disbelief followed with a giggle and a peck to his lips. “I heard really good things about this one and wanted to get my hands on it before they sold out.” Julia gave a nod, pursing her lips for a moment. “Let me pay for this, we can go to that place you were telling me about last week they opened yesterday.”
jersey frowned at her comment, “yeah the guys working the next block over are pretty disrespectful. ive heard the way they have called out to some of the ladies. “i have already told them i am offended that i dont get whistled out myself.” he gave her a playful smile. “id blow off time with the boys any day with to spend time with you.” he reassured her. “they made hold my attention for a bit but none of them compare to you.. hands down.” he chuckled “they opened already?” he asked her curiously. “i have been reading about their bundt cakes and i am obsessed already.” he laughed once more. “take your tme, really no rush.”

Julia looked down the fiction aisle of books, manicured fingertips gliding along the spines as she looked for a particular book and grabbed it as soon as her eyes landed on the title. She looked down to her phone and smiled when he said he was almost there, excited to see him. Jersey was literally her polar opposite, a tattooed bad boy to her sundress wearing good girl. Feeling arms snake around her as she looked through the poetry she jumped a little till she realized it was Jersey. A smile was on her lips as she turned around and hugged him “I missed you!”
jersey moved with her as she turned around in his arms to now hug him. his arms wrapped tightly around hers as he leaned down for a soft quick kiss. “i have missed you as well. you gave me a scare when you spoke about the men outside earlier.” he explained to julia. “what are we doing today? i blew the boy’s off and told them that i was all yours for the rest of the day.” jers said as he gave her another little peak on her lips once more. “shopping for a special book?” he questioned.

Nicolas was in town visiting for a while and was supposed to be on a date this evening but it was starting to look as if he was being stood up. Although, at the restaurant he did notice a lovely brunette waitress who would glance his way a few times as he sat there drinking his water. Smiling as he heard the women approach him, “um. I mean, yeah, sure. What would you recommend?” he asked her softly, thinking for a couple seconds. “Although, also I was wondering when you get off.”
