“This Hell-Hole Of A City” - Jaehyun One-shot

Jaehyun One-shot -Anonymous "I hate it here." "That's it. I'm leaving."

Genre: Supernatural (werewolves) 

Warnings: Swearing. (y/n) swears a lot in this. XD

Author’s Note: I had couple ideas for this one-shot, but I went with this one because if you guys want, I could make a second chapter??? Also, this does tie in with the Johnny one-shot if you were wondering because I thought, ‘Why the heck not?’ So little hints might be there. Also I apologize for the long wait and it being a bit short. ^^’ __________________________ "Are you sure you want to stay here in the city?" A younger girl with short mousey brown hair asked you and you smiled at her. She was just an inch shorter than you, but you ruffled her head and nodded.

"Yes. It's nice here, there's no reason to go into the wild and get caught by hunters or other wolves." You replied and the girl sighed and let you mess with her hair a bit longer. A group of people walked up behind you and she snarled at them, her eyes glowing an icy blue.

"This is your last chance (y/n). If you stay here, you're going to regret it, and hate it." She stated and snorted at the boys walking towards you before turning on her heels and racing down the street and out of the city. A boy with black hair wrapped his arm around your shoulder and guided you back to your group of friends. You smiled at all of them not thinking of what she had told you. This was the last time you saw your younger friend. __________________________ ~6 Months Later~

The screeching and honking of cars down below from the abandoned parking garage caused you to lean your head out from the ledge you were sitting on. It was now fall and the streets were becoming more unsafe for the supernatural. Dangerous for humans as well. The city was hell for you. The smoke polluted the air and you pulled back your lips to let a snarl escape your lips.

Your ears informed you of someone walking up to you and you merely just kept looking down on the city street below. Laughter and goofing off could be heard and you held yourself back from snapping when a certain someone tried talking to you. "Hey, (y/n). Wanna join us on a little run? We found a little information on the Association, we were planning on heading out."

He walked over to you and was about to place his hand on your shoulder and something in you snapped. You growled and pulled the hood on your hoodie up and the male froze on the spot from your hostility. "I hate it here." You growled under your breathe and any normal human being wouldn't have been able to hear it, but the males around you did. The only closest to you tried speaking and you having been fed up with the tight restrain of the city air and close quarters to other wolves shoved your way past Jaehyun and headed to the stairs.

Everyone grew quiet. They all knew you were struggling lately. Times were rough, and it was getting to you. It was getting to all of them, but it effected you the most. Why? You had chosen to stay rather than leave with your friend, and now you didn't know if the wild was any better than this hellhole of a city. All of the boys watched you walk past them, and from underneath the tresses of (h/c), they saw those normal (e/c) orbs glowing an eerie yellow. The stair door slammed hard behind you and Jaehyun was the one to run after you, despite being surprised from your sudden outburst just moments ago.

The others moved away and Jaehyun knocked on the door, "(y/n)? You okay?" What a stupid question to ask. When he got no answer from you he opened the stairway door and spotted you sitting on the concrete stairs with your head in your hands. He noticed your knuckles were turning white and he pinpointed your heartbeat despite all the loud traffic around. It was beating fast, and it was erratic. "Look, if you don't want to go with us that's okay. Just let us know and we'll understand your-" He was cut off by you snarling up at him.

"Why can't all of you just lay fucking low for once?" You barked at him with a stoic expression and Jaehyun looked confused.

"What?" You groaned and pointed out the stairway concrete window.

"Down there. We're barely making by and you all just want to add more problems to our shitty pile." You stood up and clenched your fists, " I mean, we're living in an abandoned parking garage! It's pathetic! The Association is going to catch us sooner or later, and I can't go through losing more friends! They caught my whole pack that stayed Jaehyun! I'm sick of the honking cars! I'm disgusted with the smoke filled air! I hate having to be on the run constantly, and I hate the thought of losing you guys! I hate it here! I despise this city! I'm done Jaehyun! I can't take it anymore! How much longer can any of us really go on!?" You ranted on and Jaehyun just remained silent as he stared at your fuming face. Your eyes were still glowing yellow and you could feel your temperature rising. Jaehyun made no indications of talking. He was speechless. He knew it was bad for you, but he never knew it was this much. You snorted taking his silence as an answer. "That's it. I'm leaving."

You stood up to head down the stairs, but a hand reached out to grab your arm to keep you from moving any more. "Jaehyun. Let. Go." You snarled and turned to lock eyes with him. He shook his head.

"If you're going then I'm going." He said so calmly to you that your mind stopped working for a moment, but then his face softened and it made your heart race causing you to think once more. 

"No. It's dangerous to try and escape now." You replied with a grave tone and Jaehyun rolled his eyes at you.

"Exactly why you're not going alone." You tried to escape his grasp using your werewolf strength, but he just did the same to keep you where you were standing. "We're a pack. We look out for everyone, and all of us can go if you want. We can leave tonight if need be!" He raised his voice and he pulled you closer to where he was. "But you're not going alone. I'm not going to lose you." He said softly, and this made your face heat up. Not because you were angry, no. You knew the boys cared about you, but this was different. 

You moved away from him and snorted. "Go get the others. I'm heading out." You made your way downstairs and from the commotion up on the upper parking level you knew the boys were following you. You pulled your hood up more to hide your face more, and a smirk fell upon your lips when thought of the vast forest awaiting you on the outside of the city. Figures ran up to you from behind and two specific people wrapped their arms around you. Your eyes instinctively glowed yellow and Jaehyun and Johnny's did the same and the boys following the three of you did the same. You weren't worried about getting seen anymore. You all were leaving this hell-hole of a city. Together.
