Emma Bloom HCs

- She has a heart locket with a picture of herself and Abe inside. She couldn’t bring herself to replace his picture or put it away when she started to date Jacob. Only after she finally began to get over him (post TDoDA) she put it in a keepsake box in her closet and hasn’t thought of it since.

- Her breakup with Jacob made her reflect a lot on how obsessed she was with Abe which is how she began to finally get over him. She ended up discovering she was pan after falling in love with a preppy popular girl at Jacob’s school who she’s been dating ever since.

- She became a professional photographer in both the modern and peculiar world, making a living in both worlds. Her girlfriend helped her set up a social media account to get more traction; her first photos that went viral were of photoshoots of her girlfriend and she’s been living off commission since. In the peculiar world she helps document fellow peculiars.

- Emma was always in charge of Miss Peregrine’s photo album and was the one who took photos of all the children (Abe took the photo of herself for her).

- When she fled home she didn’t have any belongings, therefore nothing to remember her sister by. After all these years she’s forgotten her voice and her face, and she sometimes cries at night trying to piece her back together in her mind. She and Millard once tried to find records or any information of Julia but they never found anything, which plagues her mind.

- Noor and Emma’s girlfriend drastically helped Emma warm up to modern fashion. She finally developed her own fashion sense, mostly consisting of sundresses, floral crop tops and baggy jeans. She’s a fan of the preppy-hipster style of dress to her girlfriend’s more bra top and leggings style of preppy.

- As often as they fight, she sees Enoch as the younger brother she never had and loves him dearly. It never occurred to her that he felt the same until she realized how concerned he was over her (towards the end of TCoTB) and she started to be more patient with his attitude (though she never hesitates to call him out on bs).

- She loves birds and owned a pet canary once, but after she accidentally burned his wing with her pinky, she decided that all pets were off the table and set him free, though she still misses him dearly and loves all animals in general.

- While she disliked and felt very jealous towards Noor at first, after they began to hangout, she grew to saw Noor as a good friend. The two, along with Bronwyn, Fiona, (and later Emma’s girlfriend), all hang out together as often as they can, usually shopping or going on walks (or pranking the boys). They love having girl’s nights with Claire and Olive (Horace tags along occasionally) and sleepovers in each other’s rooms (though Miss Peregrine makes sure Emma and her girlfriend sleep separately much to Emma’s annoyance).

✦ noor was the youngest in her family, meaning that everyone spent their time trying to shelter and protect her. funnily enough, though, she ended up preferring to do things on her own after some of them made it clear she was too young to hang out with them ✦ she did fairly well in school, was neither a nerd nor a jock - just your average elementary and middle schooler who fell somewhere in the middle of things. what she definitely was into was music, and not the kind her mother or father would have approved of. she was obsessed with making playlists and sneaking band t-shirts into the house, the ones with skulls on them ✦ she probably would have started rocking some dark makeup and a specific style, too, had things not gone to hell in a handbasket before she could make it to high school. her childhood and subsequent teenage years were very quickly taken from her and she was pushed into growing up quicker than she expected, finding herself in unknown territory with a brain that wasn't fully formed, but could still process that things would be forever changed ✦ a lot of her life has been spent trying to survive, as well as not be a burden on those who looked out for her until she could watch out for herself reasonably well. but she always wanted to be involved in decisions, to know the truth of what they were facing. in hindsight, so much being on the shoulders of a girl that young did, in fact, make her much more bitter towards the world than she might have been. but she doesn't think she regrets being in the know instead of being kept in the dark - after all, the world wasn't a place to go in blind ✦ she survived but many around her did not, including her parents and her siblings. having to shoulder that load was agonizing, especially when she ended up being the only one left. having to carry on afterward was even harder for someone as young as noor was at the time. she found a way, though, and after a matter of time in a couple different groups, she found her way to the sanctuary, where she's lived for the last five years ✦ after what she's seen and had to do in order to survive, though, it's hard for her to try to live 'normally'. after all, literally half of her life has been spent in this new world, and something doesn't sit right for her to play pretend - to go to the 'bar' and get a drink, or find the library and look at a book. she's spent so long in survival mode that she doesn't know much of any other way, thus leading her into scavenging and getting out of the bounds of the sanctuary as often as she possibly can, never being idle there for too long ꒰ headcanons ꒱ ✦ she hasn't had a chance to really explore her preferences. that said, she is a full disaster lesbian who definitely stared at cute girls in her classes and didn't realize why she was doing it until she was older ✦ she does get a bit resentful when people overly worry for her. she's survived this long and doesn't expect that things are going to be much different on any other given day, so noor doesn't believe spending any time stressing for her safety is going to help someone at all. it's just going to give them high blood pressure, and do you really wanna deal with that? nah. ✦ she once dreamt of becoming a drummer or guitar player and was probably secretly saving some money up to buy one of these instruments by doing some jobs around the neighborhood, such as cutting grass, etc. who really knows if that dream would have come true, though. she certainly doesn't *cue sarcasm* ✦ she hates the hell out of coffee but it keeps her awake and alert, so she chugs the stuff like it's her life's blood. and when i say chug, i MEAN chug. five huge gulps and a cup is gone and her stomach hurts, but boy isn't it a rush to the bloodstream ✦ she'll speak her mind always. if she isn't, there's probably something wrong or some hidden reason as to why she's keeping what she thinks to herself ꒰ wanted connections꒱

✦ i'd love to have someone that she shares a dorm room with. she's in and out of the sanctuary as much as possible, so her side of the room is probably pretty bare except for necessary items and a few knick knacks. it leaves a lot of space for her roommate to do whatever they want in the room when she's away, as long as they don't mess with noor's side ✦ workout buddies!!! especially over the last five years. she wants to stay #swole and while it's typically not hard to convince her to do a workout, she does get out of the routine occasionally. i imagine her as more of a drill sergeant than anyone else, so maybe also people she has to kick the ass of to get them into gear? ✦ like i said above, she is very gay. but she also has no idea how to romance a woman, couldn't tell you the first thing about it. someone she finds herself stuttering and stumbling metaphorically around would be so fun to me. taking her from, well, not confident but at least certain of herself, to just heart eyes over someone would be a great ride ✦ other scavengers to be her friend! i'd say she feels... freer? when she's outside of the sanctuary and though she's not someone to hide herself away at all, being looser out there definitely helps her to get into more vulnerable aspects ✦ she likes to speak her mind but there are some she may filter herself more around, just because she doesn't want to shatter their beliefs that things will get better one day. her sister is one such person, and though it's very rare, there could be friends she has that don't get the fullness of her thoughts ✦ friends are great, but also people who don't like her? who think she's very abrasive? i just honestly want everything and anything, please!! ✦ people to teach her various skills she's interested in!

So, starting off with on my blog, I have 2 OCs! I have Demon Prist, my special boy. His story is that he is a fallen angel who is desperately trying to get back into Heaven and God’s good graces when you come into his life. He’s convinced you’re a gift from God for his devotion all these millennia as you take his pain away.

I also have Ghost bf whose name is yet to be revealed although I do have one! His story (lore drop!) is that when moving to a new city, you’re looking for an apartment and you find him! The two of you talk for weeks before agreeing to a sort of trial run. But before you can get there, Ghost bf dies and you show up to an empty apartment and you expect him to be back soon. When he reveals himself to you the two of you contact each other in weird ways and fall in love along the way.

Book OCs

Then I also have Monster OCs that I would like to introduce here and later possibly turn into books! The first being Wren and Emery. Wren is a bigender Eldritch monster whose favorite show is a monster hunter show where they find monsters and study them. Not actual hunting. Emery was the host of this show with her bf Jonah when a bad werewolf accident happens and Jonah kind of takes over the show. Wren decides to invite the show to his manor to essentially… catch him. All in order to help Emery. It’s very rom-com vibes. Wren and Emery are the main couple (Jonah is bad)

I have Delilah and Augustine with their friends Ivory and Sivan. I want to write their story through an anthology. It’s basically flustered vampire x bimbo human. Delilah is insanely smart, she’s a mortician ironically. But she misses a lot of things right in front of her, hence the bimbo type personality. So it’s a collection of like Augustine constantly getting caught being a vampire bc he’s not smooth or sneaky (anymore) and it just doesn’t click for Delilah. Which makes Ivory, her best friend that’s also a secret vampire, insane. She’s a hypocrite but her and Auggie have a fun dynamic.

Thirdly, I also have Zella and Senén. Sen is a hybrid wolf who ran his own mafia when his men thinks he betrayed them and the cops are on his tail. So hides as a puppy hybrid in England with an American woman named Zella who’s there looking after her sick grandmother. He has to maintain his facade even as he finds it all super demeaning. But he falls for Zella and starts getting comfortable in this new life when trouble turns its head back around on him.

Next I also have this idea for a futuristic serial fiction that would span over at least 100 chapters. It’s sci-fi fantasy. Think Nimona-ish but darker. It’s ultimately kinda cyberpunk but from the opposite perspective of it for the most part. It follows Nora or Noor and she’s in the II (Iridium Imperium) also known as the eyes. It’s a guild that protects the city like law enforcement and they’re all cyborgs with special magical gifts. Their whole city runs on guilds it’s a requirement to be in one within city limits. Only those with magical gifts can join The II. The story covers the climatic and intense downfall of The II and ultimately Nora herself as everything she’s ever known is destroyed and she’s the last to accept it if she ever really does. She has at least 3 romantic partners over the course of the series but I’m unsure if I want her to end up Ren, her enemies to lovers man from outside the city limits who understands her far too well, her ex Gio who abandoned her in order to join the resistance but always comes back for her whenever she needs him, end up with them both in a throuple, or if she should end up alone! It’s a huge world and many OCs within this world.

The working title of this next one is called Grimoire Gargoyles! It features Giselle who’s a librarian working in France at a super old library. She finds herself in the restricted section and reads out loud from a book. Accidentally releasing two French Revolution Gargoyles from their prison stuck on top of the library. Now that Francois and Bastien are free they try and leave but find themselves drawn back to Giselle. Revealing themselves to her she isn’t afraid given that monsters are a normal sight in their world. Though Gargoyles have been extinct since the Revolution. Together they work together to try and finish the spell to release them from their curse and fall in love along the way.

More include a heist trilogy with a Dragon jeweler for the King and a thief, a dryad who accidentally performs a mating ritual with an ancient dragon at a festival celebrating his supposed vanquishing, a vampire stalker who stalks a human after tasting her blood for the first time but then stops and she starts stalking him bc she’s upset he stopped stalking her, a dragon hybrid and a griffin hybrid who exchange mating symbols as kids and basically betroth themselves to each other but he’s meant to marry her sister and years later they go through the marriage trials together not knowing it’s impossible for him to marry someone else.

Other Book OCs

My oldest OCs are from last November and it’s called Crafting Constellations. It’s an elf world and all high fantasy. The first book follows Soleil and Peracles. Peracles is the heir to a Kingdom that’s only ever had female rulers and Soleil is his general. They have a forbidden romance going on and have to work together to figure out the evil plot against the crown by an unknown force. See art of them here. Its sequel features Cane, Peracles’ royal advisor and Soleil’s ex, in his heartbreak when he saves Pera from being poisoned. He gets into an enemies to lovers with Pera’s assassin named Astraea. Then the third book features the antagonist as the main character Nova and she kidnaps Viyan, a co-worker of sorts with Astraea in order to get revenge. Then I have a secondary series featuring all 4 of Peracles’ brothers with love interests. Also a prequel that’s a sapphic tragedy with Peracles mother and her own general.

Then my second oldest OCs named Prudence and Narada. It’s another sci-fi fantasy series. Prudence is a part of a faction that has the power to get into another persons mind and read it and control it. A long time ago her faction was deemed too dangerous to stay alive so they made them extinct. And for over 100 years they’ve been living in secret and pulling the strings of their entire world Janeus. Her coven sees into the future and ensures fate stays on course. So they kill the emperor of one of the empires so that his son takes over: Narada. Prue goes there, hiding her eyes as their powers are revealed through eye color. And she successfully manipulates him but they fall for each other along the way and she ends up betraying her coven and revealing herself and their plan for the young emperor. Prue is convinced that she can fix things and manipulate fate all on her own but their world slowly begins to perish and she realizes her mistake. When she gets a “chosen one” prophecy with herself as the one to defeat, she learns to accept fate and that you can’t control it as she thought.

More include a fae hunter x fae lord that’s kinda similar to Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride lol, two demons and a human working at a casino and underground fighting ring that helps them hide from the world when their pasts catch up to them, and a biblical apocalypse where the world is split into the seven deadly sins and the Lord of Greed and a man working for the Lord of Lust inadvertently work to bring the second coming of Christ.

And I’m sure there’s even more that I’ve forgotten or that have slipped my mind!! I have so many plots in my head that it’s hard to focus on any of them lol.

a/n : this was such a random thought, it happened when i was listening to ni nachleh by imran khan and had a thought about how lit an edit of sungchan would be to the song and then it kept happening when dilawara came on and i thought of seunghan, then i just made my mind up and created this thread.

Was stalking Minecraft’s twitter account to gather like idk personality references for the crew and I learned two things

One;

Sunny is mojangs specialest boy

So Efe Sunny and Noor are introduced before the rest of the crew and in different ways

Efe and Sunny are already together when they run into Alex and Steve underground and they chaise a chicken into the deep dark

Noor is on his own and Vibing when Steve and Alex happen upon him and they seem kinda confused about him, anyways he finds a lush cave and his love of frog is a defining character trait

Later on all of them gather together and Sunny Efe and Noor tell everyone a recap of the two shorts which makes me think that they didn’t know each other before

So Alex and Steve are a thing (if they’re a Thing is beyond me I just know they share a base), Sunny and Efe know each other, Noor is just there… there’s still four people who just kinda popped into existence in the default skin reveal trailer

Maybe they’re friends with Sunny and or Efe since Efe and Makena seems to be buddies but yeah anyways that’s my sleep deprived rambling about the wild update trailers and how they characterise Efe Noor and Sunny

alright these are subject to change but ive been getting into headcanons abt the minecraft default skins. not just alex and steve tho im talking bout our underrepresented underappreciated newer defs. under the cut are my headcanoned backstories abt them based off mostly vibes (T-T minecraft plsss you couldve given THEM a story instead of these new fuckin characters in the minecraft movie. pls im begging you)

Efe—a piglin hybrid. They/them. Fighter/builder. They were raised in the Nether as a Brute and journeyed to the Overworld, where they were picked up by Steve and Alex after besting Steve in combat. Infatuated with the water because there’s no water in the Nether—has learned to swim and loves to relax by a lake or ocean. The best fighter of the defs, rivaling Alex in terms of combat, and enjoys learning new combat techniques—loved experimenting with the mace. Builds interiors, something the rest of the defs tend to neglect. In a relationship with Makena and Ari.

Makena—a bee hybrid. Xe/her. Farmer/builder. Xe was part of a Hive before she left to see more of the outside world. She loves gardening and farming and has a green thumb; loves to be helpful and tries her best to better nature in any way she can. Xe’s also very good with agriculture and farming. Ari—a fox hybrid. She/her. Redstoner/magic-user. She grew up in a small taiga village and first discovered magic through the local brewery. She was apprenticed to a cleric, but, on an expedition to gather mushrooms for a spell, found Noor and took him in. She resigned from apprenticeship and began to travel the world with him before finding the defs and settling down. She’s very outspoken about her beliefs and hates authority figures with a passion. Very good with enchantments, brewing, and other magical activities. Can hold her own in redstoning due to her cleric apprenticeship. In a relationship with Efe and Makena.

Sunny—a cow hybrid. He/him. Crafter/blacksmith. He grew up as a leatherworker apprentice in a small, cozy village—but, after a zombie chewed off his arm, he abandoned that career to become a blacksmith. He made his own arm and got into redstone to keep his arm maintained—but left his village at the urging of Kai to explore the world. He settled down with her after finding the other defs, and enjoys a plainer life. He’s best at formulating plans and, while he's not utterly useless at it, prefers to let others do the fighting. Mostly makes simple, practical contraptions to ease his quality of life. Also loves fishing. Aroace.

Noor—a frog hybrid. Ze/zem. Culinarist and builder. Ze grew up in the sunny mangrove forests and led a relaxed, easy life, but one day ze returned to find illagers chopping down zir forest. Ze fled and ended up in Ari's village, where ze was taken in and apprenticed as a farmer. Ze and Ari left the village to get revenge on the villagers, and, though ze's settled down with the other defs, ze's never forgotten zir vengeance. Likes the methodical tasks of farming and cooking, and enjoys decorating larger builds. Gay, currently open.

Kai—a breeze hybrid. She/he. Dabbler—leans redstoner/prankster. She’s always lived a relatively mundane life, even though she accidentally spawned in a village instead of the Trial Chamber beneath it and became a villager-breeze, but, after a zombie attack put her village in peril, fled with Sunny and never looked back. He likes accomplishing the most insane achievements he can think of, and loves dragging Sunny into his shenanigans. Bi, currently open.

Zuri—a bat hybrid. He/him. Redstoner/noteblock artist. He grew up in the lush caves, living off glowberries and azalea buds, but, when Alex and Steve explored his cave, he followed them to the surface and moved in with them. He is also pretty bad at fighting, preferring to use redstone to make his life easier. He loves music and redstone, and has the largest store of music discs ever. He loves making his own music and creating cool redstone contraptions. Autistic. Gay-ace, has a crush on Noor.

Alex—a human. She/her. Fighter/builder. The second human ever, created to destroy Herobrine. She chased him away from the burgeoning Minecraft servers and settled down on one. She is undefeated in combat and is otherwise very intelligent. She is also rather friendly and casual, and wants to uphold the peace of the Overworld. Good at creating practical, lived-in builds, grounded in what she knows. Aroace.

Steve—a human. They/them. Miner/builder. The third human ever, Steve was spawned as a test to make sure that Herobrine was indeed a fluke instead of a norm—made up of much of Herobrine’s code, with a few changes to personality and power. Wants a life of peace and simplicity. Easily spooked, especially scared of screaming goats, but resourceful and good at combat. Mute. They tend to build more fantastically than their counterpart, with huge megabuilds and whimsical creations. Aroace.

Reasons I think Enoch O’Connor and Noor Pradesh would be best friends

Noor is probably one of the only people who has ever thought Enoch’s peculiarity was fucking awesome when she met him and when she told him this he beamed at her and it was adorable who gave him the right to be cute like that (seriously look in AMOD it’s there and I love it)

Enoch is an established emo kid. Noor has emo vibes. She showed up with black nail polish and piercings and blue streaks in her hair and Enoch was like “oh my god that’s badass I wanna do that”
