╰┈➺ ♡  ┊   ❛  You were one of the hardest to come up with a gift for   ,  Magnolia.  ❜   Envy laughed   ,   beckoning them forward before holding an obsidian box out to them.  The box was a sleek   ,   sturdy case   ,   lined with gold   ,   atop  ,   a candy apple red bow.   Inside were six finely crafted black daggers   ,   each one so dark   ,   they swallowed all light around them.  They were sharp   ,   firm   ,   and agile.   If one were to shatter   ,    it would return to a liquid state and gradually reform to a solid state from the scattered fragments.  They held a familiar aura  . . .  A feeling of dread and insanity.  Envy waited slightly before speaking again   ,  his voice a stable balance between stringent and calm.    ❛  These were made from my blood so they will cut through anything.  It’s gross   ,   but they’re practical and one of a kind.  I don’t give away my blood often.  I know that you don’t need my help   ,   and you can take care of yourself  --   you also have a wonderful goddess that cherishes you   --   but I want you to know that you can still ask me for anything.  I see a lot of myself in you   ,   even if you won’t like that    ,   so I’m giving these to you to remind you that I am here.  ❜  After a slight pause   ,   he shrugged with a small   ,   less serious laugh.  ❛  If you hate it   ,   it’ll only shatter my nonexistent heart   ,   but I brought you chocolate as well.  ❜  HE’S ONLY BEING MELODRAMATIC !

THEY BREAK THEIR GAZE from the weapon , lest they drown in the sinister energy .

       ˗ˏˋ💔❀┊ ( * MAGNOLIA ) ━ ❝ are you serious ? ❞ THEY GRIMACED , although a tint of a rosy hue creeps across cherubim cheeks , it seemed like his lingering words managed to tug at their heartstrings , ❝ you're right . that's super gross and you're being super sappy   ,   it feels wrong  . ❞ THEY SPAT HAUGHTILY , although the lilt of their tone didn't carry its usual fire . ❝ but i'll keep it and the chocolate , no take backs ! ❞ THEY HUFFED as they slid the blade back into the box , hugging the container close to their chest , ❝ and uhhh . . . thanks , i guess .    i appreciate it . ❞
