i also think about megs' fuckngi. 'i was 8 days old & still living with my parents. how sad is that? clearly it was time to move on' & it's like. fuck man, it's just so sad. he clearly knows tht the whole thing is messed up but atp vulnerability is Difficult to say the least so he just jokes about it, referring to it as a 'standard childhood' and a 'literally broken home' like the dude is using humour to cope REAL hard rn

that being said: i think even after the movie's events, it's not a subject he really delves into. or if he ever does, he still takes on tht kinda joke-y tone to soften the blow. even opening up about the bullying he endured probably took a lot but admitting that he lost his entire planet is like. u gotta unlock like 6 tiers of trauma for that first /SILLY
