It was quite some time ago that she wore a kimono, and that was when she was still a witch. With her dragon-like features, it obviously made it a bit difficult and even uncomfortable for her to wear different attires, unless they were custom made.

But for this occasion, Alice arrived at the festival regardless the fabric of her kimono might restricting her wings and tail a bit. After all, she wanted to join them so the three could have a wonderful tile together.

She’s a shinigami and is the big sister figure to the moth youkai Yue Yue. She looks vaguely around 15 years old. Due to her duties, she stay somewhere the Iwate prefecture and regularly visits the Yoshioka Shrine. She’s quiet, calm, and mysterious; no one in town know where she came from and her parents even are. 

Ayano stays in a apartment complex with her sister and now legal guardian (whom she got her surname from as well). She is currently going to a local high school as a 1st year student while she still perform her shinigami duties. Though quiet and reserved, is sympathetic and surprisingly not as serious as she might seem when known more.

Enjoys reading, embroidery, poetry, playing the shamisen, violin, and flute. She’s very close friends to the Yoshioka demons, Mogami and Piyo since her short time of being in Iwate.

She was a muse of mine about almost two years now. I feel like I liked her character in concept more than in practice, since as much as I love her I didn’t like writing her slowly as time passed. I think she just became stagnant and one noted to me. Maybe if I bring her back, I’ll try to do her justice and make her portrayal actually decent.

Quirk: Explained briefly in Shiori’s bio down below

Attack: Purposely tries to be bad at pure hand-to-hand combat to show weakness in the fact that she pretends to heavily rely on her quirk for combat. Therefore, she relies heavily on manipulating her scarf to move around and combat enemies or restrain her opponent. She also can be very nimble on her feet and goes for the defensive rather than the offensive.

Family: Only has an aunt assigned as her legal guardian and only family member in her profile submitted to U.A.

Mind: Gou believes that there is no one who can be saved if there is a hand to reach out for them. If asked, she’ll say she wants to become a hero that people can look up to and hopefully influence those who are on the path to becoming a villain to waver off such a path and to lead a more fulfilling life. She will also stress just how much she’d like to become a hero like Eraserhead, just to subconsciously let her feelings loose just to keep up with her act.

Romance: She doesn’t have much experience with love and relationships (more explained on Shiori), and though she is quite closer or desires to be closer to Todoroki, she doesn’t necesarily see that as a romantic kind of action.

Past: Explained in detail with Shiori. However, if asked about her past or about her parents, Gou will simply state that her mother died when she was young and her father doesn’t know about her existence, making her an orphan who lives with a family friend aunt as her legal guardian. She will mostly try to steer the conversation away from things about her and her past, though.

Quirk: 

• Lifeforce Manipulation: A quirk that manifested as her own, Shiori/Gou is able to instill her own lifeforce into non-living objects/materials and move them as if they were an extra limb of hers. She often uses this quirk on her scarf so that she can will it to move and grab onto items without having to manually hold them and make them do so. However, in doing this, she pulls her own lifeforce thin if she spreads her lifeforce into too many objects at the same time in a short span of time, therefore making her own body weak and risking death. She is unable to manipulate other people's lifeforce.

• Sensory Manipulation: Inherited from her mother, Gou/Shiori is able to suppress or incite nerves in one's body, allowing her to numb pain or increase it. This does not mean that the injury causing the pain is gone or the pain that increased means that physically something was harmed. She uses this quirk to numb the pain she feels when needed.

• Erasure: Inherited from Eraserhead, Shiori is able to use this quirk with the same effects and weaknesses; however, she only uses it in emergencies both when "acting" as Gou and when she is Shadow Eraser. Not only is she afraid of someone finding out her lineage to Eraserhead, but using Erasure can also have long term effects since she already has 2 natural-born quirks. Using it too much can cause to blindness, and her left eye--due to other reasons--is already rendered blind whenever she uses it.

• Non-inherited quirk, All For One: Gou/Shiori also obtained an artificial All For One Quirk through years of experimentation where she is able to copy any Quirk and store it for use later as long as she knows how it works. Has physical consequences on her body, and she would rather not use it if she's able to.

Attack: Not only is she very quick and nimble on her feet, but she also knows how to dodge and move around to avoid attacks really quickly. No longer needing to hide her skills or power, she can manipulate her scarf to do what she wills it to do with ease and skill. She is also able to wield and fight with twin sai if she really wants to, though for the most part she doesn’t see the need to wield blades. Is able to skillfully use her quirks due to many years of training and is quite strong physically.

Family: Her mother committed suicide after she had been kidnapped, believing she was dead; her biological father is Shouta Aizawa (Eraserhead), but she adamantly refuses to make this known to him or anyone that isn’t close to her; has a grandfather, the biological father of her mother, named Shihei Kurogami, otherwise known by his fake identity of Kenjirou Sasaki; she considers a close friend of her mother, Honoka Hisakawa, to be her aunt.

Mind: As her “true self,” Shiori believes that the difference between a villain and a hero is very small, and that many of today’s heroes are not what heroes truly are. In some way, she agrees with Hero Killer Stain’s idealogy, but she definitely does not agree with the way he tried to make reform. Although she does believe villains can be evil, she believes the same can be applied to heroes as everyone has both a dark, evil side and a light, moral side to them. She truly believes that a lot of villains didn’t choose to go down the path of evil but rather was forced to due to society’s way of condemning people because of certain characteristics that are beyond their control. Though she does not desire worldwide reform, Shiori tries to lessen the number of people who go down a path of suffering only because of society by “holding out a hand to those that never had one before.”

Romance: She doesn’t have much experience with love and relationships due to the fact that her relationship with her mother was complicated and her father didn’t even know she existed. However, she can recognize love being expressed by other people; she herself just doesn’t understand nor recognize the emotion.

Past: (Explained in detail here) but main points:

• Born to a childhood friend of Eraserhead’s, who had a complicated past involving adoption and overuse of her Quirk, leading her to lose the ability to use it

• Her mother was high school friends with Honoka and the biological daughter of Shihei/Kenjirou (both of which have their own backstories)

• Led a complicated life involving lots of pining for motherly affection and dealing with bullying 

• Became very ill when her Quirk(s) were realized; due to a mutation that allows her to have many quirks, her body can’t function well enough and she’s not only forced to stay at the hospital for the majority of her days but also is fated to die at the age of 10 if not before

• Met Eraserhead at one point and through some digging realized he was her father and began idolizing him

• Was given a handmade red scarf from her mother for one of her birthdays

• Got caught stuck in a fire in the hospital; her mother was saved by heroes but he was unable to save her under the burning rubble that crushed her body

• Whole building exploded into flames once mother was safe with Gou inside, but she was mysteriously alive

• Whole body becomes covered with varying degrees of burn scars that goes up to her collarbone, her skin now a rough red and her one left leg having a pretty deep gash scar

• Taken to a mysterious dungeon where she’s experimented and essentially tortured for her Quirk where she becomes a test subject for an artificial All For One Quirk.

• Successfully inherits it and that enables her to live up to 10 years old, when she is able to escape (having to kill someone in the process) when All Might fights All For One.

• Reconvened with Honoka and Kenjirou, who had been grieving her death, and unfortunately tell her that her mother committed suicide due to how she believed Shiori was dead (leading to lots of grief from her)

• (Much generalization) but long story short she met Shijin and Ryousuke and basically saved their lives, and formed an almost vigilante-kind of “group” that nobody knows about and only knows of the one entity of a mysterious being called “The Shadow Eraser”

• When she grows old enough to be of high school age, she disguises herself as “Gou Minami” in order to gain more knowledge about the rising generation of heroes and to see if she could gather more information about whether she leans more towards being a “villain” or a “hero”
