*deepest inhale in the land of deep inhales*
Okay so basically, theres this small little AU called Heartslost. This girl was born, but her powers were deemed wicked and unholy by the villages, and she was banished to a part of the Earth. This part has one way barriers, once you go in you cant come out. Unless of course, you have the power of 7 human souls.
The young girl uses her powers to create life. She first creates Ink, who uh.. turns out soulless. He kinda leaves out. She then creates Error, because Ink is a little bit of a danger and someone needs to keep him in check. After? She creates Blue, Frisk, and Chara.
Wait.. isnt making humans overpowered!? Couldn't she just make the human souls!? Well.. no. She can only make psuedo souls, which are the same strength as monster souls.
Continuing, Frisk is a ghost who kinda just.. vibes with Chara. And Blue? Well he grows close to the girl, almost like a brother.
She decided to make only a few more creations. Dream, and Nightmare. The whole "nightmare eats black apple thing" still happens, but like.. theres no bullies really? He does get a bit bullied but not that severe. ITS FRICKIN' ADAM AND EVE??? HOW DID YOU GET IN THIS STORY??? Basically one of Nightmare's "friends" tricks him into eating one.
Dw tho, he's still chill. Just even more emo now.
Okay you're probably getting tired of me setting this AU up, so basically this girl named Olivia (Soul; Courage) gets stuck, has a little ghost pal following her, befriends everyone, and frees them.
Oh and also Blue helped the girl come up with a name. And that name is Afta.
Afta and her creations are free, and Olivia is their ambassador. Afta reunites with one of her birth family members too! Her brother, who also had a "curse" but it didnt happen until way later in his life and he could hide it.
OKAY WOOOO THATS OVER WITH.
NOW WE CAN GET INTO THE MULTIVERSE- OH SHOOT MORE BACKSTORY.
I'll make it short! Or try..
Basically theres a glitch in a copy of Heartslost, and Afta has been replaced. The new person quickly gets corrupted though. Went through torture, blah blah blah, lost their whole AU. Seeks vengeance.
So? They use an abandoned AU from the multiverse over. Including Ink, Error, Dream, Nightmare, Blue, Dust, Killer, Cross, Horror, Lust, Classic, and Fell. And maybe a few more. They play around with corrupting it, before abandoning the project. They did a hard reset on everything, leaving the experiment rewritten.
Then, their plan was inacted. They corrupted an au known as Sweetsverse. They also went around and corrupted a few more.
Okay now I'm getting tired so I'll just give a run down.
The corrupted person, Ochita, went around corrupting AUs. They eventually corrupted Heartslost, leaving Afta corrupted. Though the building resistance had found a way to fix them. Basically, you just split it. Two versions, the uncorrupted and the corrupted version.
Though none were powerful enough to do this. So they had to summon a third deliverer. These deliverers bring the messages of above. The third deliverer, Okita, managed to fix the AUs using this method. This summoned a new ally, Invert, a corrupted Afta.
Yadda yadda, Ochita corrupted more aus, oh also so many lesbians. Eventually though, one Afta knew what to do. Dessert, aka Swap!Afta. They had once been friends with Ochita. And they knew who they had to contact.
There were test versions for the Afta AUs. And their leader, Lav, aka Test Dessert, was pretty powerful. The two did a little thingy thing and fused. Eventually, the battle with Ochita came to an end, The fusion stabbed, and killed them.
And.. that's the end. Of Gen 1. Theres 2 more wars, both separated by gens. Gen 2 and Gen 3 are next. BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE STILL CURIOUS!!
I managed to get my half sleepy eyes to read this, unfortunately i couldnt read the multiverse part since im tired now
Ill make sure to read this in the morning (well, if i even remember it)
But over all, great au, love it already, oh and i hope you have a great day

In an everyone lives scenario what do you see Frisk & Chara doing with their lives?
oh i Love everyone lives scenarios... I have one of my own that I've had on the backburner of my mind for 4-5 years now
I think that after the Pacifist ending, Papyrus would take on diplomatic duties and not Frisk because that’s way too big of a responsibility to push onto a child, but regardless Frisk self proclaims themself to be his second-in-command and spends a lot of time trying to ‘help’ their honorary uncle Paps (as much as a 10 yr old can help w/ that sort of stuff lol). As they get older, they find they have a passion for that, and they decide they want to be a community manager and start running outreach programs and stuff, trying to help kids in tough situations like they had been in when they were young, etc etc. In the meantime, they run for class committee a good few times @ school and always get a spot. They live with Toriel primarily, but they do visit Asgore on the other side of town pretty often. Overall, they’re pretty happy and their life is much better than it was before they fell.
Chara... has a really hard time adjusting to being alive again. They were 12 when they died and spent... what, 100-200 years being dead? So being brought to live in modern-day Ebott among mainly humans is.... jarring to say the least. They live with Asriel at Asgore’s house, and the two of them are homeschooled and go to a youth therapy group twice a week at the insistence of... pretty much everyone around them. Chara hates it. In their free time, they like to help in their dad’s garden, and... not much else? They like sleeping and generally being unconscious. They haven’t put too much thought into what they want to do with their life.... become a botanist?? maybe??They also don’t deal well with their parents being split up or any of the child-murdery and mom-taking-off stuff that happened afterwards, but they don’t like to talk about it. Even though they chose to stay mainly with Asgore over Toriel (so they could stay with Asriel), their relationship to both of them is very strained, and they can’t make peace with everything that’s happened. Chara’s not happy, but they’re not horrifically depressed either, they just... never planned on being alive again. The whole thing makes them feel lost more than anything, but they at least have Asriel and Frisk to talk to.

Undergloom: AU Concept
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What if...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Premise
This is a ‘verse where monsters aren’t made of hope--it’s something that they have to get the same way humans do, through positive circumstances and sturdy social support networks.
So...being trapped Underground with no real chance of escape was, in a hilarious bit of understatement, kind of a huge bummer.
In Undergloom, the loss of the Royal Family’s children was pretty much it for monsterkind’s hope.
The Dreemurrs never split—lacking innate internal hope, Asgore was never overcome by anger and never declared war on all of humanity, simply succumbing to his grief. Toriel did the same and so they never argued over war, collecting souls, and falling humans.
Meanwhile, without a goal and the promise of impending freedom to inspire them, monsters have largely given up. Physically, most are very weak and lethargic, on the verge of Falling Down—and Falling Down is a depressingly common occurrence. Monsters are all relatively uninterested in any humans that fall or pass through, making no attempt to capture them. Any Encounters are half-hearted at best.
Not being hunted and killed for their souls, all the humans who have fallen (the six souls Asgore would’ve otherwise collected) are still alive and have made a small community for themselves in the abandoned Ruins. They gradually congregated there upon realizing that there was no way to escape the Underground without killing one of two very sad and polite (if distant) Boss Monsters. Their eventual plan is to wait for seven humans, the amount needed to break the Barrier, clumsily learning what magic they can from disinterested monsters in the meantime. They’re all an assortment of ages now, and mages of varying skill-level, just biding their time until the Seventh Human falls and they can all be free.
Major Characters
Asgore and Toriel: They never officially separated after the death of their children, but the loss caused an emotional rift between them. While they remain married, the passion has gone entirely from their relationship and they stay together mostly as a formality, to best co-rule their kingdom. They perform their duties separately, coming together only for public appearances--or when Asgore is tending to the Golden Flowers and Toriel ghosts in to pick one, leaving just as silently as she came.
Flowey: Doesn’t exist. Asriel’s dust was spread on the Golden Flowers in the palace, but no DT experiments were ever done, so his later incarnation never came to be. He and his adopted sibling Chara are both resting in peace.
Alphys: Without the guilt caused by the DT experiments, the Royal Scientist is actually one of the most hopeful monsters in the Underground. She’s been very inspired by the (ultra-shoujo/shounen) anime she’s found in The Dump and keeps trying to create things that improve the quality of life for monsterkind—if they’re all trapped and can’t get out, they should at least all try to be happy and not give up, shouldn’t they? It’s…it’s hard to believe that sometimes, her hope isn’t unfaltering, but she wants to keep trying anyway. It’s what Mew-Mew would do! She…thinks…?
Undyne: The Captain of the Royal Guard is bitter and frustrated with the whole situation. She thinks that they should be (should’ve been) collecting human souls from the beginning, to break the Barrier—or at least they should’ve harvested one for somebody to absorb and go through to get more! But everybody’s such a bunch of weak sad-sacks that they won’t act, doing nothing at all about the tiny tribe of humans just about everybody knows is living it up in the Ruins. …but she doubts herself too, because it seems like she’s the only one who thinks that way. That’s what bums her out the most, wondering if maybe she’s a bad person for feeling the way she does, but at least… At least all the passion pouring out of a certain (very cute) Royal Scientist makes her feel better, on her worst days.
Mettaton: A discouraged celebrity, once very excited when Alphys built him a new body, thinking that he was finally going to be able to achieve his dreams of stardom, but..well. An Underground of very depressed monsters makes for a pretty cold fish of an audience. He still has a viewership because there’s nothing else on... but his performances just aren’t very passionate these days, getting more and more lackluster by the episode. He wants to inspire monsters to rise up and reach their dreams, but he just doesn’t know how to do that when he’s not even sure he believes in his own dreams anymore...
Papyrus: Another monster who has a little more hope left than most, doing his best to stay optimistic in the face of a really bad situation. He...may be in a little bit of denial, actually? He maintains that somehow, monsterkind is going to be free again! He just! Doesn’t know how! But it’ll definitely happen, just you wait, they’re totally not all going to die down here without ever getting to experience all the neat stuff on the Surface!!! He pretty much has selective hearing about anything related to that kind of hopelessness, tuning it out and not responding to it, mostly because he knows if he dwells on it too long, he’s going to have an existential crisis/breakdown of uncomfortable proportions and noooobody wants to see that mess, hahaha… In the meantime, he’s thrown himself into human studies and analysis, full-on Little Mermaid style because it gives him something good to focus on, and hope that life on the Surface will be good, once they get up there! He’s actually very close friends with Alphys because of their shared interest (though he’s not sure how sold he is on those cartoons…). He’s also trying to befriend Undyne, because she’s Captain of the Guard and seems really cool! And maybe if he could be friends with her, and cheer her up, maybe she could help him spread that cheer a little bit…? Or! Maybe he just makes a cool new friend and at least one person around here a tiny bit happier, which is also good!
Sans: A guy under no illusions that their situation is anything but terrible. He’s very weak and very tired, even for the Supremely Bummed Out monsters he lives amongst. His nihilist sense of humor and his brother are pretty much the only things keeping him from Falling Down at this point—that, and the humans in the Ruins. He’s met a few of them, indirectly, through his knock-knock routine, and he knows that there’s six of them in there now; knows that with just one more, maybe…maybe…? …He tries not to hope too hard, there’s a lot of random chance and timing involved, and humans just aren’t as sturdy as, say, a Boss Monster. Something—illness, injury, old age—could happen to any one of the humans at any time before a Seventh Human can fall… but he still checks on the door every couple of days, thinking that impossible, “maybe…”
Frisk: The long-awaited Seventh Human! They’re greeted after their fall by the six humans who preceded them, and are summarily tutored about Encounters and souls and The General Situation. After that, their quest is to go through the Underground, learning and mastering their magic so that they’ll be able to help break the Barrier. They’re escorted by the other mages, but are mostly on their own, as they want Frisk to learn and strengthen their abilities by themselves. Frisk is pretty safe in Encounters, since monsters aren’t really enthusiastic enough to hurt them, even on accident—but maybe, depending on what they say and do, they could reignite the hopes and dreams of monsterkind…?
Potential Outcomes
No Mercy - Frisk kills all the monsters they can on the way to the Barrier. Once it’s broken, one of the mages (randomly decided each run) will turn on them. They may only be a child, but based on what they’ve just done, they’re dangerous and only bound to get more dangerous as they get older—it had to end here. The last thing Frisk hears is the mages arguing over the morality of it before everything ends… and they have the chance to RESET.
Neutral -  Frisk only kills a few monsters, or doesn’t kill anyone but does not restore everyone’s hope (major characters). When they get to the Barrier, they find that their magic alone isn’t strong enough to help break it…but the other six mages and any befriended monsters will comfort them and assure them that they can just…live down here a little bit longer. They can try again in a couple years, when their magic is stronger, it’s okay, Frisk! That’s fine, they guess, but maybe…maybe they can do better if they RESET?
True Pacifist -  Frisk kills no one and befriends/inspires all main characters. All the monsters show up to cheer them on while they and the mages attempt to break the Barrier. When Frisk’s magic alone isn’t strong enough, the monsters lend their magic too, and all together it’s enough to shatter the Barrier and let monsters and mages finally go free!
Getting the Good Ending
Asgore and Toriel have to be convinced to split--they realize that they don’t fit together anymore, at least not romantically, and after everything that’s happened, it’s time for them to move on from one another and let go of the past.
Alphys and Undyne have to be brought together-- Alphys’ resolve to reach for better things is validated by Undyne’s admiration of her, and Alphys’ belief that she’s not a bad person restores Undyne’s confidence.
Mettaton needs an enthusiastic audience for once. A cheering crowd (even just of one) is enough to make him perform better, which improves his ratings and viewership, which makes him perform better, and so on in a feedback loop of glitz and glamour until he can believe in his dreams and the Underground’s again!
Papyrus is easy-- he just needs to be told of the humans’ quest to break the Barrier. He knew it! He knew monsters were going to be free one day, somehow! And here’s the proof, a band of mages on their way to make it happen as they spoke! Take that, existential nihilist dread, optimism was right!!!
Sans is both the hardest and the easiest-- he needs you to inspire everybody else first, but then it’ll just happen on its own. When he sees all of monsterkind rallying together, having hope for once...it really makes him believe in that ‘maybe,’ more than he ever could before. Ah, hell...he’ll be rootin’ for you, too, kid!
Aesthetic Notes
Mostly muted, washed out colors and plenty of monochrome, big The Neopets Gray Paint Brush vibes.
Monster magic is mostly shades of gray: the default is white but pretty much only children too young to understand everyone’s predicament remain white. The more hopeless a monster has gotten at their worst, the darker and grayer their magic gets. It’s easier for magic to darken than to lighten, so it will take many years of living on the Surface for monster to see their magic work its way back to white, and some may never recover completely--but they can always get just a little bit better! Even if it takes time!
Asgore and Toriel: Very neat and well put together, but overwhelmingly dour--the vibe you’d expect off a very proper and serious Victorian couple. Perfectly respectable black clothing (for mourning), with little to no ostentation. Crowns are pewter instead of gold. Asgore’s hair has faded from gold to more of a dishwater blond, and his beard shows several streaks of gray. Toriel wears Chara’s locket and plucks a fresh Golden Flower every day to place behind her ear, in remembrance of her children.
Alphys: Some of the brightest colors in the Underground--but in comparison to monochrome, even the soft pink and blue pastels she favors look bright. She wears a lot of cute dresses under her lab-coat (sometimes Lolita style), and always has some kind of ribbon tied in her crest or onto her tail-- it makes her feel cute and pretty and she likes the ego boost it gives her.
Undyne: Droopy fins, scales lacking in luster. She wears her hair down, long and loose about her face, but generally has the same fashion and body type as her canon self. Her appearance is one of those things she hasn’t given up on just yet!
Mettaton: A very Apple tech-esque look, clean white and sleek minimalist lines, basically an iPad on wheels. It’s pretty, but...also kinda boring. His Ex form is a lot more fun, still a little bit of a JJ Abrams look, but with a splash of Daft Punk--the Ex form can do rainbow lights and in comparison, it’s mind-blowingly, eye-searingly flashy...and suits him so much more.
Papyrus: No battle body, and not so much of a Strapping Young Lad--he’s a little slimmer in the chest and shoulders, and dresses like the sweet Boy Next Door he is. His magic is a pearly color, almost white but with a faint tinge of gray.
Sans: Not overly different-looking, favors soft and comfy clothes, anything that’s easy to pull on and cozy enough to sleep in. Extra Rounde™, precisely one notch up from however chubby-looking you normally imagine your Sanses to be. Deep shadows beneath his eye-sockets, and eye-lights that match the color of his magic--ash gray.
Not a major character but I had a cool idea for him so
Grillby: Mostly the same, but his flame burns low and rounded, more like a match or a candle wick than a freely flickering fire.
If you made it this far through all of that, thank you for listening to my idea! That’s all I got. :3

Deltarune Chapter 2 Had Out Awesome Undertale
on September 21, 2021 I beat Chapter 2 of Deltarune.
(also possible spoilers in this, so please only read this if you have beaten Chapter 2 of Deltarune.)
it took me maybe a few days, but I finally got around to beating it. I hope no one take this the wrong way, but I think that Deltarune Chapter 2 has out-awesomed Undertale,
I still love Undertale but Deltarune's Chapter 2 is very....epic. (well I think is, and it's okay that not everyone agrees that it is more epic than Undertale.)
sure I had a little trouble here and there, but it turned out to be really fun and I do plan to play Chapter 2 again.
but starting with Chapter 1 first then working up to Chapter 2.
I'm glad I was able to play it, it seems you have to beat Deltarune-Chapter 1 first before you can play the Deltarune Chapter 1&2.
yes at first because I wasn't able to play the Chapter 2 at first, I decided to watch a walkthrough of it.....which I was only able to watch the next day.
but playing it myself was more fun and it really was awesome, it might take a few years (maybe either two or three.) until Chapter 3 comes out,
but it will be worth the wait.
don't know who Mike is though, unless it's Mike from FNAF lol......
can't be the Mike in the Undertale's Credits....must be a different Mike.
maybe we will learn more about Mike from Deltarune in the future.
also I can't help but think that Kris might be the Knight, and they have this dark side to them and the one that Susie is truly making friends with
is the Player, who is the new "Kris" and keeping the Old-Kris's dark side in check so they don't do anything too dangerous....maybe?
I believe I know why I am not able to play Undertale Fan Game, Kissy Cutie.
it might have to do with it being how I couldn't play Deltarune Chapter 1&2, until I beat Deltarune Chapter 1 in the original.
it was a new save in the original, so it was good that beat that and then tried to open up the Deltarune Chapter 1&2 again.
and to my surprise the game started to play without that blue pop-up message.
I'm not sure if it is right, that the Kissy Cutie game will start to play normal after you beat the Undertale and get the happy ending.
but I guess I could try to see if that works.
I need to say this about Noelle from Deltarune..........
the whole Yandere-Noelle might be canon.....
just like how the Pie that Kris eats is canon, so must be the Yandere-Noelle.
also I think Catti either loves Noelle as just a friend or she might have a crush on her and sees Susie as a rival.
my headcanon is that Catti has a crush on Noelle and she sees Susie as her rival.
I don't know how many players have scooted Lancer to the table after he got turned to stone....
I do not know if Lancer ate the spaghetti or not, but I know when I did go back to that room (before facing Queen)......
the spaghetti was gone, and the stone Lancer was still at the table too.
there is a reason why I think Yandere-Noelle is canon......but maybe not as deadly.....unless we end up going down a Geno-Route.
I really hope to go down the Weird Route, Weird Route For Life.
Weirdness Is Magic!
I plan to play the Deltarune Chapter 1 & 2 version from the very beginning,
and work my way back to Chapter 2.
also while playing Undertale, I got this theory that pop into my head
that the two figures that Frisk and Alphys see when they are about ready to go face Mettaton.
my theory is that the two shadow figures they first see, aren’t the monsters that Frisk faces....
but it turning out to be Kris and Susie, who’s adventure might be in the Undertale Chapter of Deltarune......I guess that theory might be a bit crazy
and it is not likely to happen.
but I think there could be a possibility of Undertale appearing in Deltarune,
as a future Chapter, and there being a side story within the Undertale Chapter within Deltarune, and in the Undertale Chapter we do not have control of Frisk.
but we still hold some control over Kris, and it could turn out that in the Undertale Chapter, Frisk is on their Geno-Run and this time it isn’t the Player that is making them do it.....because in that Chapter we aren’t in control of Frisk and Chara isn’t either.
I do have a theory that the Red Soul in Frisk, is NOT Chara or even Frisk.
the Red Soul powering the underground that you can find in the True Lab when you are turning on the power on that generator thing.
if you look closely you will see there is a red type heart in the middle,
which might be Chara’s Soul, and if we do a Geno-Run in might be possible that Chara’s Soul will find a way to talk to us by some form of Soul Telepathic Link.
Chara ending up appearing in Frisk’s mind and speaking to us through the dark mind space in Frisk’s mind.
and the Red Soul that is seen in the Undertale game, the one that can be seen in the fights.......was never Frisk’s Soul.
the Red Soul is the Player, this means that the Red Soul in Deltarune
is also the Red Soul from Undertale and they are both the Players.
if this is true that would mean without the players,
Frisk in the canon of Undertale, is Soulless.
if we think about it, Frisk would have their own Soul in the Fanon AU.
it might be possible that Kris, when not having the Red Soul/Player’s Soul in them.
they are not as they appear to be, yes they could come off as a bit mischievous.
like with the whole eating all the pie
but what if there is a more darker side to Kris, and what if it turned out there was another Soul controlling Kris and they are the ones that rip out our Soul out from Kris?
remember what Asriel said before in Undertale,
when both he and Chara shared a body, the control over the body was split between them.
it’s possible that Kris has more than one soul in them,
one being their own, the second being the one who acts as a villain,
and the third being us the players.
and if we decide to kill any one in the Deltarune Chapters
(or at least try to....)
then that might give the second soul controlling Kris even more control.
or not.....it could be that Kris only has two souls in them,
their soul and the Player’s soul.
I do have a theory that Kris might be the Knight,
well either them or Papyrus or Gaster or Asriel.
anyone of those four could be the Knight.
but the top suspect of being the Knight now, is Kris.
and this is thanks to what I have seen in Chapter 2,
both watching the walkthrough and even playing it myself.
it might be possible when we do take over Kris’s body,
we end up freeing Kris from another soul that might be the Knight.
it be interesting if when the choices pop up,
they come in two different colors to show which ones is what the Player would pick or Kris would pick.
the Player could end up choosing to pick what Kris wants,
or the Player could end up picking the the choice that isn’t the color that shows to be what Kris would want.
the color of the choices would be a Turquoise (Kris)
and Red (Player)
depending on the Player, we could choose to go with just the red color choices
or the turquoise color choices, if we choose the turquoise color choices
it can mean we value Kris’s opinion and want to show that their choices matter.
it be interesting if they add that in a future chapter.
I'm thinking of changing my tumblr name again, even if it hasn't been that long since I had changed my first tumblr username...
but I still want to put down my original tumblr name on any new drawings I post on tumblr, just to be safe and so there will be no misunderstandings.
I still want my Tumblr to be about a Deltarune-Flowey The Flower,
so even if I do change my tumblr username to something that isn't "Flowey"
I still want to be Flowey The Flower type.....as well as a Crossover.
and if I do decided to change my tumblr username for the second time.
going from floweytheflower-of-deltarune to [redacted]
I will have to edit the last drawing post I had put up that had floweytheflower-of-deltarune on it.
I will keep thinking about it.
but anyway the Chapter 2 of Deltarune was really REALLY awesome.
and it does seem to be a bit more epic than Undertale.
which once again I still love Undertale, but Chapter 2 has out did it.
for some reason Queen reminds me of White Diamond.
I do have a theory about Susie,
that either one she is a orphan or two she comes from a abusive home
and one or both of her parents might treat her badly.
and she let’s out her anger by bullying others
and the reason why she eats chalk and the other stuff she shouldn’t.
is because she isn’t getting enough to eat at home and might be malnourished.
Susie might also not be only child, she might be a older sister or younger sister.
and her bond with Lancer, taking up the Big Sister Role to him.
might show she has a Protective Big Sister side to her.
it might be possible that she gives half of her food to her younger sibling
and Susie doesn’t eat much at home because of how her parents treat both her and her little sibling.
if it is true that Susie has a younger sibling, it might be possible that Susie’s younger sibling is in Toriel’s class.
and given some info in the Chapter 2,
we might know the bio-gender of Susie’s sibling.
which if you read what I wrote on top about not reading this unless you beaten Chapter 2....
I can say now, that it is possible that Susie might have a little sister.
and the little sister might be in Toriel’s class.
I did do a drawing of what I think Susie’s little sister might look like.
as well as what Susie’s Mom might look like too.
but I don’t want to post them just yet.
it be cute if Susie’s little sister appeared in a future chapter
and once meeting Noelle, Berdly and Kris.
the little sister tells them “you can’t have my big sis! big sis is mine!”
of course Noelle might find this really precious, maybe it will remind her how much she loved her older sister when she was Susie’s little sister’s age.
speaking of Noelle’s sister, I did draw up a ship drawing between her and Deltarune’s Asriel.
if both the Holiday and Dreemurr families are both Boss Monsters
then I hope they reveal that in a future chapter.
it might be possible that both the Dreemurr and Holiday families
come from a Royal heritage,
if this is true that would make Noelle technically a Princess.
I’m calling Fan Headcanon on that theory.
also it is pretty obvious that Yandere Noelle is canon.
because of what we see in Chapter 2.
it might be possible that Kris has three souls in them,
one being theirs, the other being the Player and the other being possibly the Knight.
Kris’s true soul might be Turquoise blue type color.
what trait a Turquoise Soul is, well maybe it will be hinted in the game.
I really love Chapter 2 of Deltarune, and I know that Chapter 3 will be worth the wait.
and if Sans was hinting in Chapter 2 about Chapter 3, we might see it in a few years....then again I could be wrong about Sans hinting.
sadly we didn’t get to meet Papyrus in Chapter 2,
but we just have to be patient.
I think that besides the Players choices mattering in the game,
I think Kris’s choices should matter too.
so when the choices do pop up, they should come in Red for the Player
and Turquoise for Kris.
if we choose the turquoise color choices, it is still gonna be Kris’s choice
as it shows we are picking what Kris wants.
it be interesting if that happens.
also I would still like to know who Mike is that is mention in Chapter 2.
it might not be the one that is in the credits, so it has to be a different Mike all together, but who they are is unknown.
I hope some of you agree that the choices of the Player and Kris,
should be in Red and Turquoise.
we might be the Red Soul in both Undertale and Deltarune,
but we should try to look at it being in a symbiotic relationship.
where we make sure to keep Kris and their friends safe,
and try to fight off the other soul that had control of them before we came into their lives in Chapter 1.
also it might be possible that while both Undertale and Deltarune are two different timelines and AUs of each other.
it could be possible that before the start of those two games,
one could travel between if he machine that allowed it was turned on.
the Sans from Deltarune, might of came from a non-stop Geno Route Timeline
and had no other choice but to take both himself, his brother and other survivors to the Deltarune Timeline where they would be safe from Frisk.
I and a lot of other fans might believe this to be canon, and it would make sense given the evidence of the former Grilby’s turned into convenience store.
like what if in a future Chapter that is called “Undertale: Geno-Route”
it shows the world that Sans and his brother came from
and Sans ends up telling Kris, Susie and the others that he had to leave because it was becoming too dangerous and he didn’t want to watch his brother die again by the hands of the human named Frisk.
the Frisk that we the Players make to be more innocent and being full of love.
might be different from the Frisk that is in the canon of the game
and who knows how Frisk was before we the Player’s taken control of them.
but we do know that the Red Soul in Deltarune, could be the same one in Undertale, which would mean that we the Players are the Red Soul.
and while Kris could of had their own Turquoise Soul before we came into the picture.
and Chara could have the same color Red Soul as the Player,
which is being used to power the underground.
it could turn out that Frisk in the canon of Undertale,
is Soulless and is only given a Soul that belongs to the Player....
so Flowey might be right about Frisk’s Soul not being theirs.
I am glad I finally figured out why I couldn’t seem to play Deltarune Chapter 1&2 at first, it had to do with not beating the new save I had that had to do with the first Deltarune Chapter 1 before the version that had Chapters 1 and 2 came out.
if you beat the first version, then when you click on the new Deltarune Chapters 1&2, the blue popup message wont show up and the game will run normally.
so it’s best to keep the original Deltarune download.

Stagnant Decay Chapter 1
Well, here comes my first Undertale chapter series.
Synopsis: Sans and Papyrus live a happy life on the surface and everything seems to be going fairly well for them. However, Sans is having a bit of trouble keeping his name clean when something that looks, walks, and talks like him keeps getting him into trouble with frequent killings around town. Meanwhile, Papyrus begins to keep secrets when he finds something he really shouldn’t have. Something that could get the both of them killed at any moment. But you know Papyrus. He could never deliberately get rid of something that needs his help.
This chapter and later chapters may contain: Undertale, Dusttale, Sans, Papyrus, the main cast making some minor appearances, fight scenes, tears, a really creepy Murder!Sans, tender moments, crazy moments, and completely SFW brotherly love.
This is mostly just a chapter to getchya settled in.
Next ->
Every so often, Sans would forget something. It was occasional, but it still happened. It wasn't that he never want to remember anything; in fact, he would prefer to not to remember anything at all. But with that all too familiar cloudiness swarming his skull, he couldn't help the way he was.
Luckily for him, Papyrus was always there to help him remember. No matter what it was or the time of day, even when he thought he was alone, Paps seemed to be just a couple steps away to shake him back into reality. Sometimes he would forget where the house was. Papyrus always showed him the way. His brother was always so helpful. Sometimes he would forget what section of the Underground he was in. Papyrus would pointed out the noticeable features of the landscape, such as the snow or lava. His brother was always there for him. Sometimes he would forget to eat. Papyrus would make sure he didn't fall. How did deserve his brother? Sometimes he would forget what happened. Papyrus didn't let him forget. He never let Sans forget. But that was okay. He still loved his brother will all his soul.
And yet, sometimes, he just forgot. He blamed it on the stagnant state of the world around him. Papyrus never blamed anyone.
"Sans! Can you lend a hand to me?" Papyrus called from the kitchen, heaving a few bags of groceries onto the kitchen table, a few dastardly cans slipping out to hit the floor. A quick sigh rocked his frame as he surveyed the bagged foods before getting to picking up some of the fallen goods. On cue to his question, he heard something shift around in the living room on the couch his brother could usually be found at. "Sure thing, bro," came the deeper, slower drawl Sans was known for. "Just be sure you give it back." There was a faint pop sound as Papyrus began to process Sans' words, only to be interrupted when something flew from the other room and clattered onto the floor beside him. He blinked in surprise and gazed down at the detached hand that had landed; it was smaller than his own and slightly thicker in each individual bone. His sockets widened some in surprise and he was quickly developing that familiar flustered feeling whenever Sans did something asinine. "Sans!" he scolded. "That's not what I meant, you lazybones! Get in here and reattach your hand! That's not good for our joints!" Moments later, the lazy skeleton sauntered in, amusement clearly placed over his skull as he bent down and picked up his severed hand. "Sorry, bro," Sans chuckled, "I was just trying to be handy." Papyrus gave his smaller brother an impatient look, but a sigh was really his only response. While his jokes were painfully unfunny and immature, the self proclaimed 'mature one' of the two had learned to just live with them. After about a year of living on the surface, he sort of had to bear with it ever since such a wide array of jokes had been opened up. The very first week of being free, Sans went on a pun-filled rampage (don't talk to the human like that; it wouldn't be humane. Sans fit the hand back onto his ulna and radius, the carpals seeming to just snap back into place upon making contact with the two larger bones. With a flex of his metacarpals, he looked over at the bags of food. "Gee, Paps. Did ya bring all this in with one go?" he asked, looking up at Papyrus as  the two began to put away the food. The taller skeleton immediately welled up in pride that needed to be boasted. "Why, of course! The Great Papyrus does not need to make two trips! I cannot split my efforts in half!" he boasted. He saw Sans give an amused roll of his eyelights, but he just ignored it. As Papyrus was putting away a few boxes of pasta, a phone rang from the living room. From the loud goat noise that emitted from the device; the phone was obviously Sans'. His older brother dropped the groceries he was holding and rushed off at an astounding speed of 2 mph (a new record for him), snatching the phone off the arm of the couch. After a quick glance at the caller ID, he went out the backdoor to have the conversation. Despite Papyrus' respect for his brother's privacy, personal calls were a rarity with him. Usually when it rang, it was just Miss Toriel with a few more awful jokes ready to be told, and Sans would always make sure Papyrus stayed within earshot to listen to just how painful they were. Calls had not been kept private since his brother started becoming the lazy slob he is now. That was years and years ago. When all the groceries had been put away and the bags were stored for later use, Sans was still outside, presumably having a talk with whoever had decided to call. It was longer than last time, Papyrus noted. While it wasn't a particularly bad thing, it still had his curiosity itching. 'Perhaps it is just Frisk needing some help with their homework or their royal duties,' he reasoned with himself. After all, with all the business the human had to go through with King Asgore, there were bound to be stories to tell or advice that was needed. 'But Sans of all monsters?' he thought for a second. 'That sure is a bit odd.' Sure, he was smart, but his brother hadn't the slightest inkling of how to be regal. It was around that time of being lost in his thoughts that Sans had finally come back in, his hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket as usual. The urge to ask Sans who the caller was floated up to the forefront of his skull, but Papyrus quickly brushed it off in favor of respecting his brother's privacy as Sans had done so many times with him. Or, at least he hoped he did. Sans' little adventures in bending the laws of time and space always did make him a bit weary, especially after the treadmill prank a few years back. Yet, even still, he kept his mandible locked tight as he watched Sans walk up the stairs. Papyrus checked the time and took a quick look out the window as he usually did around this time of day. Just as predicted, the sun was beginning to set as it did every day. He dropped what he was doing to rest his arms on the windowsill and just watch the sun fall behind the horizon. Unsurprising to those who knew him, Papyrus always watched the sun rise at dawn and fall at dusk. How could he not? With it's bright orange and magenta colors and it's slow transitions of the times of day, he was truly fascinated by it. There was something about watching the sun come and go that was always so special to him. Having been born in the Underground, he knew that the sun wasn't just something to be taken for granted, unlike Sans, the lazybones. It had been an entire year since Frisk had freed them from the Underground, and everyday at dawn and dusk, Papyrus was always there to watch the sunrise. In fact, he had never missed any of them once, as hard as it may be for some to believe. He didn't plan on missing any in the future, either. That would surely be a tragedy. Once the tall skeleton was satisfied that enough light had left the sky, he immediately got out two boxes of noodles, the angel haired variety to be exact. Thinner noodles mean room for more pasta, after all. Sans tried to to reason once that two boxes was an awful lot for just two skeletons, maybe even a bit too much, but blasphemy wasn't tolerated in this household, so he dropped it. As he began to boil the water, he couldn't help but have his mind wander to Sans again. He had been so secretive over the past week. Hiding calls, going out during the later hours of the day, and being tight-teethed about his actions were just some of the things that hinted his brother was hiding something. He hadn't been this way since around the time he had first met Flowey. In fact, that particular secret still remained just that: a secret. Was something wrong?
After a quick shortcut to Alphys' lab, Sans took a minute to prepare himself. He took a few swigs of the ketchup he brought with him, he made sure his nerves were in check, and he reminisced over all the times Papyrus had scolded him. It was a strange ritual for sure, and he just hoped he wouldn't have to do it anymore after this session. However, no matter how much he had prepared himself, every time he walked through those doors to greet his favorite cold-blooded couple, he always found himself needing some alone time afterwards. A lot of alone time.
After a another quick drink, he took in a ribcageful of air and casually opened the door to the lab. Alphys and Undyne immediately looked up at him from the island counter they had been talking over. "Sans! D-do come in," Alphys said, quickly shuffling over to her bag to grab, and fumble with, a blue folder. He watched her and her nervous scamper to the table and sat down on a stool, scooting closer to the island. It seemed that it had been cleared off for this occasion. His eyelights flicked up to Undyne to evaluate how bad this situation was. Upon seeing the gears turning within the fish's head and hard at work, he knew this one was particularly bad.
"So, lay it on me," he sighed, folding his arms onto the table. "Another one?" Undyne shook her head. "Three this time. Two monsters. One human." That was surprising. After a week of murders happening around town and at the most random of places, never once had a human been attacked and killed. "A human? Geeze, that takes some guts," he murmured, before looking at folder Alphys had brought with her as she sat down. "I'm going to guess that's whatever's in that won't clear me off the list." Alphys gave a sort of apologetic nod as she opened up the folder, revealing a few non-confidential reports and photos inside. "We were never sure, at first," she said, fingers diligently moving the photos around so they would be spread out. "But that's only because monsters dust when they die. With this, it's absolute." Steeling himself, Sans brought his gaze over the numerous photos. They weren't pretty.
He was immediately sickened to see the different positions of a dead human body, this one being a male. While none of them were of the crime scene (that would get Undyne in deep trouble), they seemed to be from a coroner's table. It appeared that Alphys put in a request to get them specifically for him, which was surprising seeing how she couldn't take death very well. The most noticeable feature of the body was the giant hole in the middle on the abdomen. Geez, it's like this guy was impaled on a tree. Upon further inspection, he eventually saw the various broken bones and caved in parts of his body. It looked like someone took a baseball bat to this guy. Whoever did this clearly did not like humans one bit.
"The fatal wound as well as the other bruises and breaks were caused by something large and blunt," Alphys explained, turned away from the folder so she wouldn't have to see it. "It took a while, but it was eventually figured out that the marks and indentations within the body directly match a large bone. A femur to be exact. The residue left over confirms the bone was made of magic, and the only monsters that can conjure bones are skeletons. As far as we know, there are only two."
'Three,' Sans corrected in his mind, though his thoughts should be elsewhere right now.
"That's four times now," Undyne sighed, laying the side of her hand against her brow as she sighed. "Three sightings near the crime scenes and one body of physical proof. All in one week. Sans, the station's been urging me to bring something in. If this keeps up, I may have to actually do something." Sans grimaced the best he could through that permanent grin of his. Who could have been doing this? And why? There were no other skeletons (the feasible of them anyways) that would do something like this. Just the thought of another possible skeleton reeking havoc on the town shivered his bones. His LOVE remained at the basic one, so unless Papyrus was secretly a stealthy serial killer that was able to make himself look short and round, he was completely stumped on this one.
The three were completely silent for a minute or two. Finally, Undyne spoke up. "I think you should tell Pap-"
"No."
And so that topic was settled.
"Okay, listen. I'll put out team to find out whoever this guy is," the fish said finally. "But, we're running out of options here. If we don't find this asshole, the entire kingdom's going to be raging for my to bring you and Paps in." Sans felt his soul drop like a sack of rocks. This whole situation was bad enough since it was happening to only him, but it would be a cold day in hell when he'd drag Papyrus into it. "Over my dead body," he nearly snapped, his sockets void of light for the moment. It would take a lot more than that to intimidate Undyne, though. She just seemed to brush his sudden change in behavior off. "Well it just might be," she responded in a similar snappy fashion. "There's nothing you can really do, Sans." Her lone visible eye softened some in sympathy when she saw Sans look down at the ground, seemingly at a loss for what to do. She gave a sigh. "If I were you, I'd go home and spend some time with Pap. The way this is headin', it ain't lookin' good for you."
Sans thought the situation over. While it was easy to prove that he was innocent, he didn't think it would be so easy with the rest of the monsters. Eventually, even the humans would climb into the bandwagon, and knowing how prominent they were around here, he wouldn't stand a chance. There were still tensions between monsters and humans, after all, and there have already been a few unsavory acts committed by the groups onto the other.
Sans finally let out a small huff of frustration, though on the inside he felt like screaming at the stars. It's not every day he was being accused of murder. He's have to do a bit of investigating on his own, wouldn't he? He just hoped it wouldn't get him into more trouble. He grumbled, but begrudgingly stuffed his hands into his pockets. "Hey Undyne," he snapped, looking over at Papyrus' best friend. "Make sure you catch this bastard, okay?" Undyne smirked some and gave a nod. "Can do, ya bag of bones. Say hi to Paps for me. We still have that cooking lesson tomorrow, alright? And make sure he's pumped up! I won't tolerate rookie level cooking, got that?" Sans looked back at Undyne, unable to help but chuckle. "You got it, fish lips."
And with that, he left the lab.
Undyne watched the door for a bit, as if expecting him to come back in. She then gathered the photos up in the folder, gave Alphys a quick kiss, and left as well.
She had a killer to catch.

The Angel of Death and Other Soothing Bedtime Stories
[Chara]
Frisk doesn’t resist when you walk through the golden hallway.  They stopped fighting back a long time ago.  Somehow, that makes it worse. Sans greets you, as he always does, with a fake smile and some words about what a shitty person you are.  “kids like you should be burning in hell.” he says.  You wonder if he recognizes you. Frisk dodges his attacks and lets you attack him and they say nothing and do nothing else until he offers you mercy, at which point they burst into tears and you have to drag their stubborn ass into a standing position and attack again. On the eleventh try, he decides to stop counting.  Frisk counts for him. On the fiftieth try, Frisk starts helping you fight. On the hundredth try, you stop helping Frisk fight. On try one-hundred and eighty-seven, he falls asleep. You can feel Frisk’s anger as they sneak up on him to deliver the final blow.  Adrenaline rushes through your body.  They raise the knife... He looks so small. You remember watching him fall asleep on the castle grounds one day.  You remember how his brother picked him up and carried his lazy ass back to their house. If you cut him again... will he bleed? You don’t want to find out. You can’t find out. You won’t. You grab the knife in Frisk’s right hand and bring it harshly toward your gut. Frisk stumbles backward in shock, their footsteps waking Sans.  He steps backward but otherwise does and says nothing.  Frisk forces you to let go of the knife and pulls it out with their left hand.  The wound isn’t deep - it won’t kill them unless they bleed out without healing - but they have no intention to heal. “Chara,” they say, as though they’d forgotten you were there, “what...?”  They drop the knife and fall to their knees, clutching the wound.  “Now?  Here?  This is where you draw the line?!”  They swallow thickly.  “Not at... Toriel?  Papyrus?  That... kid back in waterfall?  But with HIM?”  They cough. You don’t say anything. There’s nothing to say. Frisk laughs. “Just a little farther... a little more... it could have been over.  We could have destroyed everything in this world...”  They hold up their right hand and look at it.  “Together.”  They collapse a little farther into the ground.  “I thought... that’s what... you wanted.” Their soul fractures. Sans steps forward, as though anything he did could save them now. The soul splits in half, clean down the middle.  You brace yourself. ... But it refused. Frisk reaches for the knife, left handed, shaking.  Sans steps back. Frisk swallows and takes a shaky breath.  “No.  I don’t care... if this wasn’t...what you were expecting...”  They find their feet and stand, leaning forward, clutching their still-bleeding wound.  “It’s what you fucking asked for.  And I.  Don’t.  LOSE.” They attack Sans with everything they have.  You try to stop them but they push you out.  You bang and scream on the inside of their head.  They ignore you.  Sans doesn’t last long. ... “that expression that you’re wearing...” “well, I won’t grace it with a description.” ... “that expression...” “you’re really kind of a freak, huh?” ... Attempt three hundred and seventy four. You’ve killed him, what, five times, now? Frisk stares at the blood on the knife for a moment.  It’s not really blood, but whatever.  They finally give up on trying to follow him, wherever he went, and step into the next room. They walk past the save point without touching it. Killing your dad is easy. Killing your brother, not so much. Frisk does it for you. ... “Interesting.” “You want to go back.” “You want to go back.” “To the world.” “You destroyed.” ... “You think you are above consequences.” Frisk nods. “Exactly.” ... “You still have something I want.” “Give it to me.” ... Despite everything. Their soul is still warm when you reach out to it.
“Knight to D-4.” “That’s not a legal move.” “Shit, it isn’t?  Why not?” “It puts your king in check, see?” “Ugh, this game is confusing.  Bishop to H-5.” Frisk moves the bishop and then captures it with one of their rooks. “Checkmate.” “God damn it.” “Chara, have you ever actually played this game before?” “Well... no.” “Heh, no wonder you’re confused.  Here, let’s start over and I’ll go over the rules.”
“What’s wrong?” asks Frisk as you walk through a familiar part of town. “Huh?  What makes you think something’s wrong?” “You’re being quiet.” “It’s nothing.  I just don’t like this place.  That’s all.” “What’s wrong with it?” You don’t answer.  It’s not like they’ve told you anything about their past.  You can’t help but shudder as they pass the street you used to live on.
A shout rings out across the playground - a name Frisk recognizes, and a voice they know, neither of which are familiar to you.  Frisk takes off running.  The name is called again, and the voice follows you down the street.  Frisk curses mentally, looking for a place to go. “Who is that?” you ask.  They don’t answer you, instead ducking into the nearest hiding place. The voice arrives shortly after, it’s wielder - a human - searching the area and finding Frisk.  Frisk puts a finger to their mouth to stop the other person from saying the name again.  They comply, walking up to Frisk and crouching next to them. “What the hell happened?” they ask Frisk in a whisper, “Where have you been?  I thought you were dead!”  Frisk starts to answer, but they keep going.  “You were gone for months.  What...”  A look of understanding crosses their face and they curse.  “He did something, didn’t he.  That bastard, next time I see him I swear to god...” they move to stand up and Frisk stops them, shaking their head. “He thinks I’m dead,” they say, “Please, just let him think that.” The other one relaxes a bit.  “What happened?” “It doesn’t matter.  I’m okay now.  I have a new home, and a mom and everything.  I even have a name of my own.” “You do?  What is it?” “Frisk.  Frisk Dreemurr.” “Frisk.  That’s a nice name.  Did you come up with it yourself?”  Frisk nods.  “Well, alright.  If you’re sure, then I’ll stay out of it.  Just... you know you can come to me for help, right?” “I do.  But I really am okay.”  They stand up.  “I’ll see you around, Alex.” “...Yeah.  See you, Frisk.” The other human, Alex, walks away and Frisk sighs. “They won’t tell him,” they think, “right?” “I really wouldn’t know,” you reply.  “Frisk, I never asked you about this because it’s really none of my business and I mean, it’s not like you know the reason I climbed Mt. Ebbot, but-” “Stop.  I don’t want to talk about it.  Besides, he won’t come back.  They won’t tell him.” “Are you sure?  Frisk, should we load our last save?” Frisk thinks really hard about it for a second.  “No.  I trust them.”
“I don’t know what’s weirder,” says Amanda, walking up behind you, “that you’re playing chess against yourself, or that you appear to be losing.” “Actually,” Frisk tells her, “I’m playing against the voice in my head.  And I’m white.” “Oh.  Right, ‘cause that makes so much more sense.” Frisk shrugs and moves a white pawn. “Oh,” you say, “So now I’m a voice in your head, and not the ‘soulless husk of your dead half sibling?’  I think you’re giving that human mixed messages.  Knight to H-4.” “Oh hush,” they reply, moving your knight and then one of theirs.  “Check.”  They ignore your cussing and look up at Amanda.  “So how’d it go?” “You weren’t kidding about Undyne.”  She laughs a little.  “But it’s going well I think.” “King to D-5” Frisk moves your piece.  “That’s good.” “Can I play winner?” asks Amanda. “Sure” replies Frisk, capturing your last pawn. “In that case,”  you say, “I forfeit.” “That’s no fun.” “I have like three pieces left.” “Give me, like, two more moves.” “Ugh, fine.  King to D-6.” “Check.” “King to D-7.” “Checkmate.” “Finally.” Frisk laughs and starts to reset the board.  Amanda sits across from them and helps. “Is it true what they say?” she asks. “Depends,” says Frisk, “What do they say?” “That you once beat Undyne in a fight.” Frisk focuses on aligning the pieces for a moment.  “By some definition of ‘beat’, sure.” “What happened?” “Well, you know the big parts, right?  Seven human souls and all that?” “Yeah.” “If you think Undyne’s scary now, you should see her with three hundred pounds of armor, utterly convinced that killing you is the only way to free monsterkind.  There was no fight.  I ran like hell until I reached Hotland and she collapsed from the heat.” “They say you beat the king, too.” “I honestly have no idea how that rumor started.  We were both going to fight, but Mom showed up and stopped him before anything could happen.” “We did actually fight them both, though,” you remind them. “Do you think I’ve forgotten?” “I know you’d like to.” “Huh,” says Amanda, “I wonder how that would’ve turned out.” “Badly.” Frisk replies, “I was planning to throw the match.”
Napstablook peeks nervously around the curtain and Frisk walks up behind them. “Nervous?” “Oh, don’t worry about me.  I always get like this before shows.” “You’ll do great.” “Thanks.”  Napstablook smiles, but they still seem uneasy. “You know, it’s funny.”  Frisk says, leaning on a nearby wall, “Of all the monsters I’ve met, I think you underestimate yourself the most.” “What makes you say that?” Frisk laughs a little.  “You survived the damn apocalypse and didn’t even notice.” “What...?” Napstablook inches away from the curtain. “Remember that flash of light back in the underground, ‘round the time the barrier was destroyed?” “Yeah, everyone knew your name after except for me...” “You could’ve died.  Everyone else did.  They all came back because of time shenanigans but you...”  They give another chuckle.  “The angel of death knocked on your window and you closed the blinds and went back to mixing music.”  They smile at Napstablook.  “If you can do that, you can do anything.” “That’s one hell of an oversimplification,” you say. “It works.” Frisk replies, leaving Napstablook for now. “Ready to perform onstage for the first time?  I wonder if he’ll kill us by accident.” “Don’t be morbid.  Besides, he couldn’t even kill us on purpose.  Not even in the first one.” “But you won’t be expecting it this time.” “You will.”
The show goes off without a hitch.  Monsters and humans alike, but mostly monsters, turn out in the hundreds to watch you and Mettaton perform.  Frisk dodges his stage attacks expertly, not a single hit landing on them, which is good because your mom is in the crowd somewhere. Everyone meets for dinner afterward - a fancy meal courtesy of the (relocated) MTT Resort.  Frisk digs in almost immediately after they receive their food, all but ignoring the praise your family offers them regarding the performance. Their face reflexively scrunches up.  The food tastes horrible.  “What the fuck?” they think, “Did Papyrus make this?” “No,” you tell them, “it’s a different kind of awful.” “Is this just what fancy food tastes like?” they think, watching the others eat like nothing’s wrong. “I think it’s a problem with just ours.” They grumble internally and take another bite. “I don’t think you should be eating that.” “I’m not going to be rude.” “Frisk I’m serious something’s wrong.” They ignore you and keep eating. You would recognize this taste anywhere.  “Dammit Frisk listen.” “I’m not going to be rude,” they repeat. “It’s buttercups.” Frisk’s chewing stills for a moment.  “What?” “I don’t know how but I would recognize the taste anywhere.” They think for a moment and swallow.  “There’s no way.” “Do you think I’m lying?” “No, I know you don’t lie, but...”  They take another bite.  “Still.  A lot of things taste like shit.  I can’t count on you knowing one kind of shit from another.” For the first time in months, you try to stop them by force.  They shove you down harder. “I am not going to be rude.”
A memory: You bite into the hot dog Sans gave you and lean back in your seat, watching the crowd.  Next to you, Sans takes a bite of his own hot dog and grins unconvincingly.  “Hey, Sans?” you say.  He turns to look at you.  “If you could forget everything, about Gaster and the lab, would you?” He thinks on it a minute.  “i don’t know.” You laugh a little.  “I would forget the surface in a heartbeat if I could.” “is it really that simple, though?  you must have at least one good memory from before you came here.” You think on it.  “A few, I guess.  I used to pick flowers, when no one was looking.  My village has these bright yellow flowers with seeds that just get everywhere.  I used to spread them around as much as I could... but that doesn’t make any of it worthwhile.” “i never said it did, but y’know... sometimes even bad memories are worth hanging on to.” “But what if there are no good ones?  I can’t imagine you have any of Gaster.” “you’d be surprised.”  He laughs a little bitterly.  “it wasn’t always needles and buzz saws with him.  when papyrus and i were little... well.  he’s the one who taught us to read and write.  and, he was all we had.  papyrus really liked him at first.  but, you know, that was before.” You nod.  “Doesn’t that just make it hurt more?  The betrayal of it?” “not really.  it gave papyrus hope, at least.  he was always so determined to convince him to stop.  no matter what gaster did, paps would just turn around and forgive him for it.  i think it really got to him, after a while.” “But it didn’t work.” “it kinda did, though.  if he’d been sure of himself, that little fight could’ve turned out a lot worse.  he was always a little hesitant.  i bet papyrus said something that got to him, before we got back.” “So, is that your answer?  You wouldn’t forget?” He shrugs.  “Nah.”
Frisk rolls over in their hospital bed and takes a sip of the water from the glass on the bedstand.  You jerk at their arm angrily to make them spill.  They sigh and put the glass down. “Do you believe me now?” you ask, “Or are you going to google the symptoms first?  Get a second opinion?  Maybe ask the doctor if he’s REALLY sure?” “Oh, hush.” “Don’t you fucking hush me!  I tried to fucking warn you but NO.  You-” “i didn’t say anything.”  Frisk turns, startled, to see Sans sitting on the fold-out chair by the bed. “Didn’t see you there,” they say. “i noticed,” he replies, “chara bothering you?” They nod.  You hiss at them.  They scowl. Sans laughs.  “so, any word from the doctor?” Frisk nods after a moment.  “Buttercups.” “shit, really?” Frisk reaches for the water again.  “It was in the food at that fancy dinner.  Chara tried to warn me and I ignored them, which is why they’re mad now.” “Well at least you’re not lying about it.” you say. “but...” Sans slouches even farther than he had been, furrowing his eyebrows. “how?  why??” Frisk stares at the water before they put it down.  “Someone knows.” Sans is quiet for a minute.  “did you tell anyone else?” Frisk shakes their head.  “I mean, Flowey knows, and he may hate me but he doesn’t have the means to do this and he wouldn’t have told anyone else.  Did you?” “no.” Frisk lies back down.  “Well, we can worry about it later.  Whoever it was, they weren’t trying to kill me.  I think they just did it to prove they could.” “that isn’t very comforting.” Frisk shrugs.
Your hands are covered in blisters and your throat stings like you’re swallowing fire and you keep eating because it isn’t enough to kill you, not yet.  Your brother looks on apprehensively and you ask him if he trusts you and he says yes, always.  You lie down and stand up again and there’s fur growing on your blistered hands and another person in your body and you kick and scream and tell him that he said he trusted you and he says I know I’m sorry and you don’t forgive him.  The humans descend on you like a black fog and suffocate you and you cough and spit and wash the blood off your face in the river and look into it to see your reflection and Frisk smiles back up at you.
You wake up with a start and Frisk follows, groggily blinking their eyes open. “Another nightmare?” they ask. “Yeah,” you tell them, “Sorry.” They shrug.  “It’s not like I don’t wake you sometimes.  Don’t worry about it.”  It’s true, you never get much sleep between the two of you.  Frisk doesn’t ask about your dream and you don’t tell them.  They look around the room and notice someone sitting by the bed. They laugh.  “Well, this is familiar.” “You’re awake.”  You recognize this person now - it’s Alex, the kid you met a few weeks ago. “And you’re here, for some reason.” Alex shrugs.  “Came to make sure you were okay.” “I’m fine,” says Frisk, sitting up, “How’d you get in?” they say, and ask you, “Don’t they have, like rules that only family members can visit or something?” “Hell if I know,” you reply. Alex answers.  “I told them I was your sibling.  Hospitals are so trusting.” “You’re quoting something.” says Frisk, “and you probably snuck in.” “I wouldn’t call it sneaking.  It’s not like they have guards or anything.” “How’d you know what room I was in?” “Simple.  I checked every room consecutively until I got to yours.”  Frisk laughs.  Then they cough, because wow your throat feels like shit.  Alex hands them the water and they take a long drink.  “What ended you up here, anyway?  The news was vague.” Frisk nods.  “I asked them to be.  No reason to scare people.” “What happened?” “Someone poisoned my food at this fancy party we had.” Alex is silent for a moment and you use the pause to talk to Frisk.  “You trust them enough to tell them that?” “Yeah.” “Who?” asks Alex. “Don’t know yet.  I have some theories, but... we’re not getting the police involved, anyway.” “How come?” “Well, whoever it was, they weren’t trying to kill me.  They just wanted to send a message.” “How do you know?” “Buttercups are a pretty shitty way to try and kill someone.”  Frisk stretches and yawns.  “But let’s talk about something less depressing.” Alex nods.  “Oh, I almost forgot,” they say, reaching under their chair, “I brought you something.”  They stand up and hand Frisk a book, which they take in their left hand and turn over gently, eyes wide. “You kept it,” they say. “Yeah,” Alex rubs the back of their neck, “Thanks again for letting me borrow it.  Figured it’s about time I gave it back, heh.” “You didn’t have to-” “Of course I did.” Frisk smiles.  “Thank you.”
“Before I go,” Alex says after a few hours, “I, uh, wanted to ask you something.” Frisk sits up a little warily, “What kind of something?” “You don’t have to answer, but... what happened?  Did you run away?  Did he...?” Frisk looks back down at the closed book.  “There’s not much to say.”  They hesitate a moment before showing Alex the scar on their left arm.  “He gave me this and said not to come back.”  They shrug.  “I took a hint.” Alex is silent for a long moment.  “I’m gonna kill him.” “Please don’t.” “I’ll help” “Chara no.” “He’d deserve it,” says Alex. Frisk shakes their head.  “That’s not a good enough reason.” Alex sighs.  “I know.”
The book is old and weathered, hardcover, with wrinkled, dog-eared pages and phrases underlined in pencil.  You read the title.  “Harry Potter?” “Yeah.  This was my favorite book when I was little.” “It’s old.” Frisk nods.  “It belonged to my birth mother.” “Huh.” “Chara?” “Yeah?” “Will you read it to me?” You consider it for a moment.  “Sure.”
Frisk pulls out their phone around midday and dials a number you don’t recognize. “Hello?” “Hi, Burgerpants!” “Oh!  Hi, little buddy.” “How’s it going?” “You know.  The usual.” “I’m sorry to hear that.” “Well, I haven’t lost hope, little buddy.  I applied to one of those human acting schools.  If I sell all my belongings and work extra hours for a few years, I should be able to afford it.” “That’s great!  Are you still working at MTT Resort?” “Yup.  I’m doing more work in the kitchen now, so I don’t have to deal with customers as much.  Let me tell you, it’s a lot better this way.” “Awesome.  Look, I need a favor.” “...What kind of favor?” “Can you keep a secret?” “Of course I can.” “I’ll put in a good word for you with that girl you like.” “...Really?  Alright, then.  What can I do for you?” “First, you have to promise not to mention this to anyone, okay?  Not Mettaton or Asgore or Bratty and Catty or anyone.  Okay?” “Don’t worry, little buddy, your secret’s safe with me.” “Thanks.”  Frisk takes a deep breath before continuing.  “I need a complete list of everyone who was working with the food at the party last night.  Kitchen staff, delivery people, waitstaff, everyone.  Can you do that for me?” “Sure thing.  What do you need it for?” “Long story.” “...Alright.  I’ll call you when I have the list.” “Thanks, BP.”
“Hey, Flowey, I have a question for you.” Asriel appears in the throne room, looking at you skeptically.  “What is it?” “Does anyone other than you, me, Chara, and Sans know about the buttercups?” “No.” Frisk nods, having expected that answer, and digs the handwritten list out from their pocket.  “Do you know anyone on this list?” Flowey looks it over for a minute.  “Frisk, I know all of these people.” “Is it possible that any of them know?” “Absolutely not.  They’re all idiots.” “Hm.” “What’s this all about?” “Someone put buttercups in my food a few weeks ago.  I’m trying to figure out who.” Flowey hums pensively.  “You sure it wasn’t the skeleton?” “Yeah, I’m sure.” “Well, then I can’t help you.  Someone might’ve figured it out, but definitely not anyone on this list, and I sure as hell didn’t tell anyone.” “Great.  Well, thanks anyway.”

Theory About Frisk And What The Determination REALLY is
first I want to say, if some saw the post I posted before this one, I hope you understand my concerns and I really hope everything works out...
anyway, I don’t believe that the Red Soul in Undertale’s Canon Timeline in the game itself, is Determination, we only are made to believe it is because the whole fills you with determination.”
I think that the Determination Trait, might be a Artificial Soul creation of the royal scientist and for a time when Flowey was the first flower to bloom in the king’s garden, he was used as a vessel for the “Determination Soul”
which I think is a red color too, but like a Dark Red.
when we start the game and we see Frisk on those bed of flowers,
our “avatar-soul” is inside them and controls them and we move them, because we the player are technically Frisk, and we are filled with Compassion.
I believe the true name of the red soul we see that Flowey show us and tells us about LV, is Compassion.
I believe now that the true trait name of the Red Soul, is Compassion.
it is possible that the “Determination Soul” is inside Frisk too, that would mean that Frisk has two traits inside of them,
Determination & Compassion.
in theory in AU Timeline sense, the Determination Trait could split into a Positive side of itself and ended up becoming a part of Frisk, and it giving birth to all different versions of Frisk with them being born with the trait known as Determination.
but we the Player, are the ones who have the Compassion Trait.
we work together with Frisk and make sure to not give them too much of the LV
and I believe that when we the player do go into a Geno Run, and the words becoming red when we check something like in Toriel’s home.
it’s NOT Chara, I believe it is The Determination.
if we keep killing monsters and keep give the Artificial Dark Red Soul Trait that Gaster created, more LV the more dangerous it will become once the Geno Route is complete , even if we the players do end up corrupting Frisk first, we shouldn’t place all the blame on Chara or even Flowey.
Chara is just a scapegoat for the player, to escape from guilt.
I believe that others who have played Undertale, have realized this too.
and I think some might of figured this out, but I think when the player chooses to ERASE THE WORLD & Timeline, like “Faux-Chara” wants
(I still believe that the red soul we see that is where we turn the power for the elevators back on, is actually The True-Chara, placed there by Gaster.)
and I believe the “next world” that Faux-Chara and We The Player Who’s Trait is Compassion, end up going to the Deltarune World.
which is a Alternate World from Undertale,
with it having all the monsters on the surface.
the soul we see when we first start the Deltarune Game, that is us the player, are very being, our Compassion.
and when we leave the dark world with Kris and Susie,
we don’t end up going back alone.
it is possible that, The Determination Trait came with us, the one that is filled with so much LV and is the Negative side, and counterpart to the Positive side that is now fully part of the Fan Version of Frisk that is beloved by many fans.
The Negative Determination Trait shows up when we get too much LV,  that is them speaking when the words become red, I don’t believe it is Chara.
Chara’s Soul is trapped in the true lab.
and the smiley faces on the screens, that is Chara too.
I believe that Chara’s True Trait in the game, isn’t Determination, but Compassion.
in a new theory, it is possible that the Chara that talks Asriel into going to get the Buttercups, WASN’T Chara.
it was Faux-Chara who was the Determination Trait created by Gaster, Gaster wanted real results, no matter who got hurt.
so before the artificial soul went rogue on him, he switched Chara’s Soul with that artificial one, and told the Faux-Chara the plan and told Asriel to tell him the plan, but make it seem like it was “Chara’s idea.”
meanwhile, while the Determination/Faux-Chara was impersonating the Real-Chara, Gaster put Chara’s Soul where we the player/Frisk end up finding and then turning the power for the elevator, back on.
it was The Determination/Faux-Chara, that wanted to use Asriel’s full power on the humans and then take their souls.
if my theory about Asriel not using his healing magic is true, then perhaps he could tell that the “Chara” sharing a fused form with him, wasn’t his real sibling.
and he either didn’t want to use healing magic, because he was scared if he did, that Fake Chara would take full control and kill all those humans.
or when he realized the Chara with him wasn’t the real Chara, he started to try to hurry home and get to the real Chara, but ended up losing too many HP and died.
or here is another theory, he could of healed himself and made sure to suppress the Faux-Chara while hurrying home and try to find out what happen to the real Chara, and when he tried to call out to Chara and ask them where they are, they were stabbed from behind, by none other than Gaster himself.
it is possible that Gaster did kill Asriel, then took the Determination Soul back and took it back took it back to the lab, then when he returned, he acted like he just saw Asriel turned to dust and then informed the King and Queen.
but it could be the Knight possessing Gaster’s body and he tried to keep himself from killing the young prince but the Knight’s power was too strong.
Knight might be able to go to and from the Undertale World and the Deltarune World, and might of kidnapped Gaster.
Knight’s body could of still been in Deltarune, while his soul went to the Undertale world before we the player goes there, and took over Gaster.
this is just a theory about Gaster and the Knight, and it’s okay if it’s wrong.
but it could be possible that when Chara’s Soul was switched with the Faux-Chara, it might of been the Knight doing the switching, while in control of Gaster’s body.
and it was the Knight that killed Asriel when he returned from the human village.
even if there might be dark versions of Gaster in Fan AU and Timelines, that wouldn’t mean that he would truly be like that in the canon of the game.
it could be possible after Knight left (with Gaster), Alphys found the Determination Soul, and then got Flowey and place the Determination Soul, inside of him.
then when Frisk falls into the underground (where the barrier isn’t at, because I believe the barrier is just over at New Home/ The Room Where We Fight Asgore.)
The Determination Soul  then goes from Flowey, to Frisk.
the reason why Flowey can’t reset anymore when Frisk/The Player comes along, is because the Determination got bored and decided to move into a different host that didn’t have a soul from the start until we the player, brought them to it.
we technically give the Determination what it wants, a new vessel.
the more LV we get, the more it shows itself, even if we think it’s “Chara” it isn’t, because Chara is in the true lab.
when we do a happy ending, and we leave the underground and if we choose to go with Toriel, we end up leaving Frisk, the Compassion Trait.
but the Determination ends up being cleaved, to the Negative Trait, and the Positive Trait, the positive side ending up being Frisk.
when the player’s avatar-soul, ends up in Kris, we don’t have the Determination Soul with us, it is just us and Kris.
it is only when we leave the dark world, that the determination soul (the negative cleaved half, not the positive half that is Frisk that is still in the undertale world.)
it, the negative-determination soul, is the one that pulls us/the player/compassion trait out from Kris.
I believe that Kris’s trait is Impartially, which I think might be a Indigo color, which is a type of blue.
and that is why Kris appears blue in the dark world, and the reason why Susie still is purple, is because her trait is Perseverance.
there is a art work that I did of that theory about Kris’s true trait, but I will post it over at deviantart  maybe later.
even if it might be turn out my theory about Asriel in Undertale, having a secret dark side, might be incorrect, but I still believe that Asriel in Deltarune, might be truly be not as sweet as some of the monsters
I mean he has a knock-off game controller under his freaking bed, with a real game controller, which means that Asriel uses the real controller, and makes Kris use the knock-off/fake controller.
everyone in that town thinks Asriel is perfect and a angel, but Azzy (the Asriel from Undertale) might possibly be more of a angel than him.
it is possible the reason why Flowey, got all “Geno” when he had control of the timeline, was because of the Determination Soul placed inside him, before the said soul was cleaved while inside of Frisk.
The Determination Soul corrupted Flowey, and even after it left him and went to Frisk, it stayed with him, it was the one that gave Flowey the impression of how it’s “kill or be killed” in the game of Undertale.
but if we show Flowey kindness and keep sparing him, showing him Compassion no matter how many times he tells us nothing will change and even threaten us.....we keep showing him Compassion up until he runs away, at this point, the influence of the Determination Soul leaves him.
and when we face him a second time, he ends up as “Asriel”....
though I believe that the dust that made up Asriel’s body, is a part of Flowey, The Asriel’s Soul could be somewhere else.
Flowey is a cleaved part of Asriel, he is Asriel but at the same time he isn’t.
he has Asriel’s memories because the dust had them.
Flowey might of been alive even before Asriel’s dust ended up on him.
I think that the Hard Mode Timeline, might really be where the Demo-Flowey and Demo-Toriel live, even if when we start over after finishing the hard mode, the name Frisk still stays, if I remember right after trying it out on the Nintendo Switch.
and if the positive side of the determination soul (that cleaved itself from it’s negative determination side.) while telling Asriel that their name is “Frisk”
it could be from a timeline in the hard mode, the positive determination soul got the name Frisk from, they use the name that we give in the game, even if when we don’t use the name at all when we first play undertale, it could still be that way even if we do or don’t decide to play hard mode by naming the fallen human Frisk.
Flowey the one in the Hard Mode Timeline, might not even be Asriel, or at least have his memories.
there is some secrets about both Underale and Deltarune, we have yet to find out.
we know that the red soul in the game isn’t really determination, it is only called that by fans, and the “Determination” is just a name given by the royal scientist.
I believe the red soul’s true trait name, is compassion.
if we keep to our trait, we will befriend the monsters and leave the underground.
but if we don’t stick to that trait, we will end up meeting the Faux-Chara.
who will then try to get us to not only give them our Soul, but destroy the timeline.
it’s okay that no one agrees about these theories, but I still believe that the true Chara’s Soul is in the true lab, and the Chara we meet (even if I haven’t got that far in Geno Route.) is a fake and is really the negative determination soul.
once more no one has to agree with these theories, and that’s okay.
even if it might take some time for the next chapter of Deltarune to be released, I know it will be worth the wait.
we just need to give it time.
anyway, that is all I have to say about those theories.
see ya later and keep safe everybody.
