I shouldn't say stupid. Untrained in literary analysis/out of practice.

...And with miniscule background on Kafka the man, which literary analyses I'm reading seem to depend on utterly, rather than just having the works stand on their own. From what I'm reading, I love this strange and anxious man.

Short yet densely allegorical is also not my forté, and what it's saying is not of any particular interest to me.
