Hello I wanted to ask if I may request Mirio and Tamaki with s/o who loves stuffies specifically a lamb stuffie that they carry around everywhere and without it he gets anxious. Thank you so much!!!

a/n: now is my time to shine. i have over 60 teddy bears (yes they all have names😌) and two giant ones. i was born for this request

Warnings: None! but bad puns

The first head to make an entrance from behind the wall belongs to your favorite teddy bear, a lamb with soft fur and welcoming eyes. You poke your head after it does too, capturing the sight of your boyfriends shedding their hero costumes. Mirio is the first to notice you, smiling wide as he pulls his cape over his head.

You venture over quietly, holding the bear tight against your chest as you mutter out, “How was work?”

Amajiki jumps, his hair flying up and over his face as he turns to meet your gaze with a wry smile. Mirio laughs, placing his large hand on Tamaki’s shoulder and squeezing reassuringly. Both of his significant others were timid, jumping out of their skin at the slightest chance of anything going wrong, hiding behind his large frame when they felt the need to be covered.

“Oh, hi, Sunflower.” Amajiki gives you the tiniest smile as he pushes some of his hair behind his ear. He pats the lamb on your chest, mumbling “Hello to you too.”

“The same as always!” Mirio chimes, wrapping his arm around the both of you as he walks to the bathroom, pulling you along with him. “Only this time a little bit stinkier.”

You have teddybears all over the house. Most in your shared room taking up all the bed space, but some scattered throughout the living room, on shelves, hidden in surprise places in the bathroom, decorating the kitchen… It was like you owned your own personal Build A Bear.

“Excuse me, Cinnamon.” Mirio picks up the brown and white bear (that looks like a bunny) and plops her down on the closest surface. All of your stuffies were comfort items, they all meant something to you and you’d hate to see them mistreated. So your boyfriends treated them as though they were human.

Mirio strips after turning on the faucet to the bathtub without an issue, checking the water with his right hand and plugging the drain using his right. Amajiki, sputtering about being embarrassed, strips too. The bear that you held tightly against your chest is nowhere to be found as you squeeze your body, making your plummet straight into a frenzied panic.

“Where did they go? I just had- I lost-” You’re unable to hear yourself past your own breathing, loud and ragged and quick, making Tamaki quickly pull his shirt back over his head and rush to your side.

“It’s okay. Me and..We’ll find him.” He says, giving you a wobbly smile that’s supposed to be reassuring but you can sense doubt in the pessimist's voice. You can practically hear him think.

“Don’t worry about it, you two! We’ll find them and reunite them with you!” Mirio wraps his arms around the both of you and leads you through gentle breaths. He had somehow managed to change despite the fact that he hadn’t even bathed or left the room. “First we should retrace our steps.”

The idea doesn’t go well after a couple minutes, you find it better to just look as fast as you can. Your lamb was your best friend, it grounded you better than anyone else can (but your boyfriends were a close second), no matter how much teasing you got for having it while being a boy, it only ever made you feel better. What if you never found it?

“...Please don’t cry...sweet boy.” Tamaki winces at his attempt to use a new pet name. Your hands meet your cheeks as you let out a strangled sound, and the tips of your fingers become damp.

“Wah!! Look who I found!” Mirio yells into the air, raising his right hand to show off your lamb. He smiles wide, calling you over and pretending to speak for the bear.

“Don’t cry over lil’ ol’ me,” He makes it say. “I got a joke to make you feel better. What do you call a dancing lamb? A baa-lerina!” You would groan and muffle your laughter under different circumstances, but seeing the stuffy makes you let out a laugh of relief, quickly thanking your boyfriends and holding the bear tight.

“Oh...I have one too.” Amajiki pats the lamb on the head. The two of them really did love you, learning jokes about lambs and finding your comfort item after hours just for you. Where do lambs take a bath?...In a baaaa-th tub….” It sounds more like a wail than a sheep sound, but it makes you laugh anyway. And that’s what matters.
