Things have been going okay. Just a little busy at work and been playing video games and reading at home when I get free time. But to answer your other question, I do like Bach. I’ve been getting into classical music lately. And honestly, Hilary Hahn does wonderful violin pieces of it. I do prefer her Sibelius over Bach or Beethoven concertos. There’s something so soothing about the violin pieces like how the orchestra and violin compliment each other so well. ((I don’t know if that made sense or not)). Do you prefer Bach over other composers?

Valentine’s Day is coming up on the fourteenth of this month. We just do classic assorted chocolate and flowers, but other gifts happen for couples like jewelry and such. And people typically go out for a nice dinner that day too.

It's nice to hear everything is going allright :)

And getting into classical music is one of the most awesome things one can do, I hope you find joy in it! I've practically grown up with it and I really, really like it. I also get that you like Hilary Hahns playing, although it's not what I usually listen to. I'm a big fan of the old maestros such as Oistrakh or Menuhin. And your question really is difficult! Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven... they are all geniuses and masters of their art. But Bach - he is for me the grandmaster of all music, so to speak. xD

It's not even his concertos, be it with soloists or grand orchestra, that impress me the most, but rather his sacral music. He composed many oratories for special occasions like christmas, easter, ascension and so on, but they are not as internationally famous as his concertos since they all have German texts. Again, I prefer the older recordings over newer ones haha

Writing paragraphs really happens faster than you'd expect when talking about music lol

And how has it been going with me? Well, now I need to think lmao - it has been much more stressful than a few weeks ago, but it's still fun :)

And now back to Valentine's Day. Here in Germany it is being celebrated by a number of people, but not the majority as there is no tradition behind it. Everything we do here is more or less directly imported from the US, so our gifts etc look very similar.

There is actually a video of a tv-interview with a guy being questioned about Valentine's day that's really famous here in Germany, and I found a version with English subtitles 😭 this video is so. Hilarious. (Please don't think all Germans are like that tho-)

All right, I’m super curious! You drop characters here and it sounds like you didn’t just make them up after receiving an ask, but rather worked on them before. Do you keep all your OCs somewhere secret until anyone asks about them? How many “unknown” OCs do you have? What awesomeness are you hiding from us? And since I’m already talking about OCs: Am I the only one whose OCs (at least some of them) are actually different versions of themselves? Which OC do you relate to the most? Ahh a behind the scenes question, I see...

I have two kinds of OCs: personal ones and "Real" ones.

Personal ones are essentially shameful self inserts that I lock away never to see the light of day because they are disgusting and bad and horrifically self indulgent.

The ones you want to know about are the "Real" ones, which are, interestingly enough, created the moment someone asks about them. I phrase everything the way I do, because I want this to feel not like I'm "creating characters," but more so telling a story of people who have already existed. I like the feeling of being like a messenger or historian who knows the lives of these seemingly "irrelevant" people like the back of their hand, because it makes it feel like these characters are canon. It's also why I built Sunder, Riot, and Brutus around Nightbrothers that you do see in the Clone Wars. I want to tell you about the lives that they lead and the stories that no one else has bothered to learn. It's why I love answering questions about Nightbrother culture. It gives context, background for their lives, so you see people who are more than just objects to take up space.

And I don't really think any of those boys are really like me... if I were to relate to anyone the most, it would be Riot, except with Brutus's attitude. Just... the tendency to keep feelings on the back-burner for everyone else's sake, that kind of thing. But I actively scowl on a constant basis just like Brutus and people think I'm rude, so-

But to my knowledge they're not really parts of me. Unless my self awareness is bad. In which case... oops
