kidnapped a couple months prior by mother miranda, teddy ended up being infected by a rogue lycan when he attempted to escape, the lycan in question was meant to capture and not injure him at all, but things didn’t go exactly to plan. the infection took a while longer than normal to alter his body due to the prior experiments he unknowingly endured while in the army, miranda observing during the entire process.

he first changed into a lycan while under miranda’s observation, still maintaining his human intelligence, he was able to resist the influence of urias and even mother miranda, while in his lycan form, which miranda found fascinating but was forced to keep teddy under sedation until she could put him through the conditioning process.

before she could do so however, miranda found out about rose and left the village temporarily, only coming back temporarily to bring mia to her lab.

the constant sedation actually worked in teddy’s favor, allowing more time for his body to adjust to the mold infection. when miranda was away, the lab assistant that was in charge of him, failed to use the appropriate amount needed to keep him under and when said assistant was about to inject teddy with another batch, he woke up. he doesn’t remember much, only that when he came to once again, this time somewhere outside of the village, teddy was partially naked, covered in blood and bodies of several lycans surrounding him.

though his memories are still fuzzy, teddy was able to realize what exactly happened to him and with his access to the mold, gain an inkling to what miranda might be planning. so instead of returning to the bsaa ( at least for now ), teddy stayed close by to the village, testing out his new abilities and figuring out exactly what he could do.

⸻     𝐓𝐈𝐃𝐁𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄

teddy has two forms, his lycan form ( which is easier to change to ) and his varcolac form. as a lycan, his height increases to just over 7 feet, his hair isn’t as chaotic compared to the other lycans and he is still able to speak, though his voice is rather gravelly.

even when he’s still in his human form, teddy’s physical capabilities are far above than what he was originally capable of before. he can easily lift up to 1000+ lbs and his speed allows him to keep up with some vehicles. his aging has essentially halted and his regenerative capabilities allows him to survive even the most grievous of injuries.

before the fungal root was destroyed, teddy temporarily gained a mental connection to it, allowing him to peek into the minds of others that were infected by the mold.

he can selective transform parts of himself, such as turning his fingernails into claws and extend his canines ( he has an extra set of canines ) to be more prominent. sometimes when he gets particularly pissed, his eyes turn into a golden yellow color.
