not to sound absolutely deranged but i have been reading merthur fics (as usual, what i have been doing daily since march) while at work (yes) and the rush of serotonin is just unmatched, i'm giggling and blushing JUST because my blorbos are getting together for the 500th time in a different way

Arrival: Fashionably late

Arriving with his father in a shower of gilded starlight and red lightning, the prince of Hell shone a different hue...if Hell's king was a gilded duck, his son was a Raven, shining in hues of deep purple, black, and silver. His mask bore the Wings of Victory, a nod to the wings that lay folded against his back for the moment, as he was worried he might harm someone with the gleaming hooks that shone atop them. Perhaps his confidence would grow as the nights wore on. He felt a ever so slight smirk rise on his lips at his father's theatrics, offering the onlookers a wave of his own, piercing green eyes looking out into the crowd curiously.

He followed his father like his own personal omen, alighting at his side, keenly watching the goings on. He's glad to see his father out and about more again, perhaps this outing would be good for them both. His tail looped around his leg so as to not be in the way as he watched the ball around him...this was shaping up to be a rather interesting span of days.

Wanted to share some art I recently finished up!

The New Mexico Gay Rodeo Association held a poster contest and I decided to enter with the only medium I’m decent at, which is leatherwork. Unfortunately it didn’t win, but it did place top three!

It took me about 40 hours, and is fully hand carved leather with acrylic paint for color. Overall I’m pleased with how it turned out, and am excited to put it on my wall. I’m thinking I’ll build it a leather frame.

So as we all know, with the exception of last year, the Rayllum corner has a habit of having a Rayllum month in July, on account of both our kiddos’ birthdays falling within two weeks of each other (the 15th and 31st respectively). However, with S5 Ocean also dropping sometime in July, I thought it’d be prudent to schedule something more tentative.

The technical dates I’m considering are June 17th to July 1st, featuring two weeks of Rayllum angst -- I mean goodness! However, I could see merit in pushing it back further if we get a later month release date. Like previous Rayllum month events, it’s two days for each prompt, giving you more of a chance to enjoy all the lovely fanworks as well as prepare your own! Fanart, fanfiction, headcanon lists, analysis, prediction posts, rewatches, playlists, and anything and everything else is more than welcome! I did my best to tailor the prompts to the specific post-S4, pre-S5 hype, but as always these are suggestions! Anything that fits the “s5 speculation” Rayllum vibe is 100% encouraged.

Doing research for Foxy's whole wild western thing with the horsies and stuff is really annoying actually? I feel like there's a lot of rodeo sports in here that either shouldn't exist, or could very easily be made totally fine if they could be bothered to put the effort into it.

Like... guys... you can train cows. Did you know that? You can train literally any animal you want... if the cow is scared when you're lassoing it maybe like... teach it to be in on the game? Let the cow play too? I feel like that's such a stupidly obvious solution to some of these man...

Not all of them though! Obviously not all of them! I'm thinking of the ones where they just lasso the horns and steer it in a different direction and that's it! The rest of those ones can fuck the hell off what the actual hell possessed anyone to consider cattle wrestling as a fucking sport? Like yeah sure a sport revolving around turning a cows head 180 degrees by jumping on it's horns seems perfectly safe and completely reasonable, not at all absolutely insane /s

Literally what the fuck is any of this I'm actually so glad I planned for Foxy to have also run various non-rodeo sports as well so I don't have to deal much more with all of this whadda hell

I know quests are just named as they are bc its a game and the game has quests... but I like the idea that since the courier does keep notes on quests that the fact so many quests are named after song titles/references to music and old movies that they just have a insane rolodex of musical/movie knowledge for no reason.

like yes sure its heavily implied they cant remember parts of their past but they remember their holo-mixtape playlist and favorite movies!! fuck everything else!
