jing yuan likes to stare at his lover sometimes, which you quickly get used to. jing yuan would usually stare at you whenever he is feeling bored or just admired your beauty, which was often.

but this time was different; the golden-eyed man seemed to have a specific spark in them, as if he had some mischievous hint in them. the tall man leaned over the table that you sat across with a gentle smile on his face.

jing yuan softly cups your face, fearing that if he were to grasp your face any harder, you would shatter. wordlessly, jing yuan continues to examine your attractive look. until confusion takes over his fond expression, this causes you, too, to question what happened.

"what happened?"

"there’s something on your face, m’love." jing yuan swipes his thumb on your jawline before closing in on the space between you and him. your lover kisses you so gently jing yuan sticks out his tongue and swipes the bottom of your lip smoothly before moving back to his original sitting position. the action was so sudden, it caused blood to rush to your face. you covered your face out of dismay.

 jing yuan says smugly, "it was me."

summer is coming, and the temperature has started to rise. even though you were indoors, you could still feel the heat coming through. you grabbed a paper fan and tried to cool yourself off.

"is it just me, or is it really hot in here?" you were exasperated from the heat as you questioned your best friend (whom you secretly liked for ages) who was sitting next to you, sampo koski.  who didn’t seem to be bothered by the heat at all? he casually leaned back on the shared couch you both were sitting on.

"you’re hot," he says confidently, not prying his eyes away from the television playing in front of you guys.

a silence ensues between the two of you. mostly from you being shocked at what a gorgeous green-eyed man he is. "...what?" you questioned. there was a slight tinge of hope in your voice.

"what?" sampo feigns confusion with his facial features. after all those years of uselessly pinning your best friend, maybe he liked you back.
