BONCANONS | The Blackrabbit and her lack of human...functions
There’s quite a few abilities that were taken from Bonnie when Fritz brought her back as the Blackrabbit, although some may be more useful than others.
What she can’t do includes:
Eat and drink ( she can still cook tho )
Plant her feet on the ground ( oh, she’s tried )
Give off heat ( she’s a spirit in a 3D-printed body )
Give off a heartbeat ( no heart to do that with )
Breathe ( though she does replicate the sound of sighing )
Obviously, a lot of these prevents her from registering on certain equipment ( no heat signature = no heat detection ), but others may simply alienate her further from more organic beings.

Tbh I think a major flaw of Bonnie’s is that she tends to prioritize Fritz ( and her image of him ) over herself, to where she can’t even grieve properly for her own tragedies and the things that happened in her own life.
she wants him to be happy, but in order to ensure that, she just. ignores her own problems. a pre-Fritz Belle would have already grieved for her lack of parents and helped other orphans do the same, but that’s because she’s already distant from her biological parents, since she’d never known them.
Fritz, on the other hand, is the parent that Bonnie’s "bound” herself to--but at the same time, she just basically tosses herself aside for his sake. it’s not on purpose, and tbh i think @stayuptildawn‘s Fritz would try to steer her away from that if he figured that out, but it just. happens.
in the unforgiven verse, she does have the room to step back, but it turns into downright hostility because she’s only been built once and never again. it’s still not a healthy avenue because she doesn’t really look at herself; she still draws things revolving around Fritz.
basically, save bonnie.

BONCANONS | General
Bonnie has always been a mostly nonviolent sort in life, except if you insulted her bio mom ( as the woman saved her by bringing her to the orphanage ) or Fritz ( especially as the years pass by and the two “sync up” ). Despite this, she has participated in bites resulting in wounds on both her and the other’s person for such reasons, but hey, she’s up front about it.
After death, as the Blackrabbit, she also very much retains this--since she doesn’t actually leave the premises of their home until POPGOES Pizzeria is built, she has no reason to be antagonistic towards anybody.
( Though, she may or may not have fought Popgoes at least once. )
After Fritz’s death, however, her main objective is to find Simon at all costs. If she suspects you’re holding information from her, she’s going to find a good reason to deck you, and may only apologize if it turns out she’d just not asked the right questions or something along that line.

BONCANON | v: tbflye | The Butterfly Experiment
Just some quick headcanon drops!
Bonnie is a HOSTAGE; she was heading home from a friend’s house only to be snatched up by someone in a rabbit mask.
Her watch is BLUE 2; she is not bound to anyone, and the only people she’d recognize anyway is Fritz Glade, a Purple Guy who has a verse for POPGOES, OR any of the FNAF1 or 2 animatronics anyway.
Her backpack is a Freddy Fazbear backpack.
The clothes in the bag are a black off-the-shoulder top with a white outline of a rabbit on the front ( akin to this ), a pair of jeans, socks, and sneakers.
She loves rabbits, but like. Not that one. Zero’s an ass.
She has no powers, so no headaches.
For the most part, she will be well-behaved; it’s very likely the only ways she will kill another are in SELF-DEFENSE or by GRIEVOUS ACCIDENT, but that could very well change.

CBKW - Inventory
80 tokens > Spending these will make you feel better about having these bricks tied to your feet.
HandUnit > Has a couple of games, along with a list of rules. If you had a spare HandUnit, perhaps you can increase the processing power on one of them in order to run Five Nights at Freddy’s properly...
Bonnie plush > Soft, purple, and cuddly. Makes you feel like a kid again, almost.
Instant Noodles > Something that’s just about as salty as you are right now. Maybe a little moreso.
Butterfly Headset > The tagline says that it’s perfect for singing about forbidden love in a “gay way”. You feel called out.
Bricks x2 > Bricks tied to your feet, thanks to your new warden. You try not to show irritation about it, but they make it hard to walk. Apparently everyone named “Bonnie” has these.

BONCANON | Snowflake Obsidian
Obsidian has no weapons, instead being a Gem whose limbs are "tied" to her via her gem--she also cannot touch the ground, but instead merely floats. Her position in Homeworld is similar to that of an artist, one who would work on the murals that would be deployed into the bases such as the Moon Base, so having their limbs be able to go in many directions helped them to perform their task much easier.
As Snowflake Obsidian, her limbs are connected via Bonnie's body, and her weapon is to summon extra body parts in case she needs to do anything with them. For example, summoning a leg to make sure a surface is stable enough, summoning arms to carry numerous items, etc. The only things she can't summon are heads or torsos, for...some reason.
Her gem is located just under her neck, but above her chest--basically a collarbone gem. Bonnie may resort to wearing a silver chain around her neck in order to fake the gem being part of a necklace, but she's only had to do that a couple of times.
As stated, Snowflake Obsidian prefers to keep her fusion status on the down-low, partially because Obsidian doesn't want to be found by the Diamonds, and partially because Bonnie doesn't want to endanger Fritz ( and, by extension, her new life ).

BONCANON | Human verses | @stayuptildawn helped me with this one lmao
During her life, Bonnie would team up with Fritz in the kitchen; when she was recently adopted, she would handle gathering ingredients and reading instructions while he worked the stove, but this would soon develop into making their own recipes.
After her death, during verses where Fritz had rebuilt her, Bonnie has had a few incidents where she herself attempted to taste her own cooking--but, uh, only tasting some regret. Metaphorically. Because no taste buds. She’d eventually grasp that she can’t eat anymore, but it doesn’t stop her from sitting Fritz down to try her latest recipe.
She honestly does enjoy cooking, though--even as the Blackrabbit, it gave her something to work on and enjoy the results of. She’s likely shoved Fritz out of the kitchen a couple of times because she wanted to surprise him.
After Simon is built, however, her priorities shift from her work to finding Fritz in general--even if she doesn’t quite grasp why she feels the need to do so.

Are you related to any of the Spring units?
“The Spring units...? Oh, you mean like Spring Bonnie and Fredbear, right?” The Blackrabbit shook her head, sitting in lotus position as she continued to float. “My design is actually based on Toy Bonnie, from the ‘new and improved’ Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. I only learned about the Spring suits after Fritz died, when I found his notes regarding the original use for WeaselWare and...other things.”

BONCANON | Post-POPGOES
After Fritz's death, Bonnie's body somehow gained a new property: dripping ink, no matter if her body's treated or not. This ink doesn't seem to be very connected to her properties as a 3D-printed animatronic body, as it only ever happens when she's angry, stressed out, or frustrated.
If she remains in such a state for a long period of time, her features will slowly grow more deformed as if the ink is putting strain on her body. However, if her parts are treated, they will "reset" when she falls apart--and if she's untreated, these deformities aren't retained in her next build.

WORLDBONNING | The Missing Pieces
This post is basically to fill in the rest of the POPGOES lore in relation to this blog, aka “Spring realized she left out crucial plot elements in Bonnie’s biography and decided it was better to separate that into another post since certain things didn’t directly relate to her”.
Obviously, there’s going to be POPGOES spoilers under the cut, but I hope this helps paint a fuller picture for those unfamiliar with the game.
Fritz Glade was born Jeremy Fitzgerald, living in Texas for most of his life; however, Jeremy took up a job at the newly revamped Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, staying six nights before being moved to the day shift in order to monitor a birthday party.
When one of the children approached the animatronics, he moved to warn the child away from them, only to end up being bitten by Toy Bonnie--taking out his frontal lobe and nearly causing his death.
The reason Jeremy didn't die? His brother, ( who we can only assume is known as ) Simon, was a man that most theorists would simply call "the Purple Guy"--a child murderer known for preying on Fazbear Entertainment establishments. He used the blood from his victims' corpses in order to provide Jeremy with a large donation and thus, Jeremy had a swift recovery.
Of course, this also meant he was in the media's eye for a great deal of time due to his grievous injury. He moved to England with his parents, changing his name so that he could stay out of any spotlights people would direct towards him.
During this point, Belladonna is adopted at the age of seven, then had her name changed to "Bonnie" at her own request at the age of eleven. She helped Fritz work on a video game at the age of fifteen, then worked with him on a self-driving vehicle that was finished when she was eighteen.
However, later that year, she'd scared Fritz with a Toy Bonnie mask, triggering him into a severe flashback that resulted in Bonnie being chopped into six pieces with an axe. Her head, torso, arms, and legs were all split, and when Fritz realized what he'd done, he fell into deep grief and worked to bring her back.
This resulted in the first instance of the Blackrabbit, finished a year later.
During her first possession of it, she accidentally freaked out Fritz to the point where he decided to merely rebuild her body each time he wanted to see her--this mostly happened mid-day or in the evening, and she would crumble into dust after around six hours, due to the fact that her 3D-printed body was not treated.
These times were spent either conversing or making plans that would ultimately lead to POPGOES Pizza, but that would only be fully built in 2023. The designs for Popgoes and the gang were based around woodland creatures, but were also designed to keep certain nightmares out of Fritz's mind, through the use of making them "ornaments".
In addition to the plans for POPGOES, Fritz was also working on WeaselWare, a program that was designed to help him search for his brother. He soon found him in the auction that resulted from Fazbear's Fright going down in flames--that is, Springtrap's mask. He bought the mask, along with several other parts and other items from the horror attraction's collection, including Toy Freddy's hat.
When POPGOES Pizza finally opened, the Blackrabbit entered it one night to take a look around, but that was apparently all she needed to do in order to cause supernatural happenings to begin. After that night, the animatronics began to move on their own, developing their own personalities and becoming sentient, in a way. This would result in Popgoes the Weasel building the Blackrabbit's body each night in Fritz's stead, even as Fritz began his work on two new inventions.
The first was Simon, an AI replica of his brother of the same name; however, he feared what he'd built and chained Simon to a wall, even as the second creation was coming into development.
The second was Sec-Strings, based on an ornament designed to keep away nightmares of the Puppet; Sec-Strings took upon the ornament's name (Strings), but had a similar AI to Simon in that it could function similarly to a human, to where it could even feel emotions such as panic or fear.
During the game of POPGOES, the player takes control of Sec-Strings through its first ( and last ) shift of six nights watching over the pizzeria. Fritz provides advice while also speaking about his own life, and when the game plays out in its default ending, everything seems to be relatively happy...right?
There is, however, a second ending. The "true" ending, so to speak.
It'd take a lot of detail to go through ( moreso the requirements to reach said ending ), but essentially, you're playing Simon Says with Simon himself. In doing so, you achieve the means to dismantle the animatronic nightmares in Fritz's mind, as well as a caricature of Fritz himself.
This also gave Simon the means to escape and kill his creator, which leads into some of Bonnie’s “present-day” post-POPGOES verses.
YOU OBEYED A MONSTER.

self-knowledge questionnaire
Below the surface everyone is pretty complicated. Based on your answers, we think the following three traits are important strands in your personality:
INDEPENDENCE
You don’t set out to be different for its own sake; you are more easily guided by what interests and moves you. You are more concerned about what is right for you than about the pressure to fit in. In sex you are more aware than others of impulses which are not entirely conventional. You know the value of selective irresponsibility, of forgetting occasionally about being ‘good’.
SHYNESS
Part of you is gripped by the fear that you’ll launch into something and completely mess it up. The upside of this is wise caution: people are indeed often too rash, whereas you know, by instinct, that holding back can save you. Probably, you feel shame and self-disgust a bit too much. But when you do feel in your element, you act with a wisdom and sensitivity never found in people with thicker skins.
SENSITIVITY
You have delicate, sensitive perceptions; you can be deeply moved by appearances – the right light in a room, or good food, or the texture of a piece of clothing. Expressive, intelligent language has a powerful hold on you; your mind works better when it is inspired and provoked by vivid imagery. It can be sad to live in a world which is often so ugly and not properly looked after. But you know that things can be otherwise, and you have the ability to appreciate the world at its best.

HC fear
FIND THE TRUTH | accepting
When she was younger, Bonnie actually feared the darkness–the fear didn’t really subside until a few years after Fritz adopted her, when she realized that it wasn’t the dark itself that one had to fear. In fact, I kinda think Fritz had a hand in helping her with that fear.
As she grew to care for Fritz, however, a bigger fear began to stand out: losing him. Even as the Blackrabbit, she couldn’t bear the thought of not being able to see her dad again, and when Simon killed him, well…
There’s a reason I have a verse for a vengeful Blackrabbit tbh. She wants to make both Simon and the man he was based from pay. With interest.

BONCANON | Silent Night
Wanting to prevent Fritz's soul from returning to the land of the living as hers had, Blackrabbit becomes a staunch guardian who uses the entity known as "Grave Stone" to keep Fritz's soul at bay. There's a sort of weariness to her that appears to affect her form, so she may "rest" rather often; her body is mostly in one piece, but she will have quite a few moments when she begins to "ink", moreso when stressed or angry.
In order to allow Fritz's soul to access something to possess, someone will have to break the barrier that Grave Stone is set up to be--in order to do this, they have to break six copies of its limbs within the pizzeria, although both Grave Stone and Blackrabbit will attempt to stop whoever is attempting to do so. Grave Stone focuses on attacking intruders, Blackrabbit works to repair what's been broken via 3D-printing a replacement and imbuing it with her own energies.
( Best to finish things up quickly--both for your sake and hers. )
When someone forces her to repair these parts more than five times, her body will begin to lose the ability to keep her form stable, resulting in a more inky quality a la RWQ; the main difference is that her limbs still float separately, resulting in the appearance of not one, but several ink blobs chasing after you.
More than fifteen times results in Blackrabbit attempting to stabilize herself by grabbing nearby objects and consuming them into her body, which works temporarily, but also causes her to sink more and more into hunting the person down. Her form also becomes more ink-like, as well as somewhat bestial.
If the person succeeds in evading both Grave Stone and Blackrabbit's attempts, Fritz will return--but at what price?

BONCANON | POPGOES Pizzeria
This is more just a frame of reference for any time I need to pick up one or more members of Popgoes’ crew to use as NPCs ( but like, do hit me up if ur considering a POPGOES muse...hint hint... ); this is basically how I see them based on certain things in the games such as their actions or how Fritz describes them.
Popgoes the Weasel
A gentleman...ly weasel. He’s got a lot of charm, will tip his hat to people and is generally pleasant; I picture he talks like a Brit since, well, POPGOES very likely takes place in England ( and even if it doesn’t, Fritz stayed in London for a long period of time ).
He respects Blackrabbit and often calls her anything but her name, such as “ma’am”, “my lady”, etc., but he will also take off her head if he feels she’s being too rowdy around the pizzeria. One could even say that Fritz projected a lot onto him, hence his fatherly sense, but hey--speculation.
Also, a piece of shit who initiates the Tip the Strings game. For some reason, he’s adamant that Blackrabbit shouldn’t need to forgive Fritz, which results in some sighing on her part. Probs also the same fuck who wrote “coward” on Grave Stone.
Blake the Badger
Appears to be very intimidating, but is actually a sweetheart towards the kids. He can and will exploit his tendency to frighten when it comes to an adult who hasn’t earned his trust, and is just generally rough on the edges to those who aren’t either in the crew or aren’t children.
He’s actually a genius with more than just the Simon Says game in the server room, and will often work on his own little programs when he’s not overseeing the pizzeria’s mainframe.
Sara the Squirrel
The good twin, was technically the second twin built but is considered the oldest by guests. Is protective of both Saffron and Blackrabbit, considering the latter just as much a sister as the former; of course, she gets rather appalled when Popgoes stops Bonnie’s tomfoolery.
She tends to go with Saffron to prevent her from getting into too much trouble, enjoys strumming on her guitar when her sister isn’t being a shit.
Saffron the Squirrel
The evil twin, the first twin built but often mistaken for the younger. She would steal 50 cakes and eat them in front of you if she had a digestive system, and has probably tried to eat a pizza slice before and gunked up her programming. Plz.
Like Sara, she considers Blackrabbit a sister to her, as well as a pranking partner. 9 times out of 10, it’s Saffron who’s initiating the journey through the vents.
Stone the Crow
He’s a hallucination, but also the resident druggie.
A good listener, if only because he’s stationary and cannot move. The hallucination carries a marker around and writes on the sign when he’s sick of people’s shit, and some adults have even reported sightings of him in the daytime.

BONCANON | General
Because Bonnie grew up in a generation that gives memes as freely as box tops, she is very familiar with the memes that have spawned during the 2010s, and some from the 2000s due to them gaining traction again during the years.
This extends into Blackrabbit as well, although she usually memes the POPGOES crew because there’s nobody else. She’s been trying to convince Blake to help her access the internet from the server room, although that’s both for memery and her desire to do SOMETHING at night besides float around the pizzeria.
Basically, she’s a canonical memer based on timeline alone. Enjoy.
