✞ ︰ it wasn't exactly jack twist from brokeback mountain, but it would have to do. it was a last minute decision to attend the party at the warehouse anyway ⸻ so it was either a white sheet with two holes for eyes or this : a tie-dyed denim jacket haphazardly matched with a mazzy star band tee, lined leather gloves embroidered with tiny stars that were more suited for the chilly air than any character inspiration, and black boots that a western-inspired dominatrix would probably wear. but hey, the black leather hat and chaps at least gave cowboy, right ?? it didn't even really matter, he wasn't there for the fun. he was just there to watch. if the killer was going to strike tonight, then they would need an alibi. and there wasn't anything more pliable than an inebriated crowd ⸻ the killer could strike up a conversation or two, let people notice them just enough, and no one would be the wiser if they slipped away for a quick kill ... except those anticipating the exact thing !!! of course, he could be wrong. but he could also be right, and he'd rather take that chance. 🔎
