‘          eh                    ?!             why      are   you   so     CUDDLY ,        you     darn     four - eyes  ?                   ’       pitcher     immediately      bristled ,      crimson     delicately      framing        GOLDEN    CROWNED        player’s    tanned   cheeks.    huffing   out   a   breath ,       hands       finding       their   way        on   catcher’s    strong    shoulders ,     the      usually          VERBAL         younger   of   the   battery    seemed      to   fight        for    the   right   words ;     nose   scrunched   upwards   and   eyebrows   drawn   together   in         FEAR.         fear ;      such   a      rarely   worn       and       feral       emotion ,      bottomless      yet     easily      tangible.             pressing   one’s    forehead   into    his   partners    shoulder   eijun   tried      to    buy       some    time ,        BREATH        stuck   in   dry    throat.          reasons      will      surely      make   catcher   laugh   ‘pon    pitchers    worry    yet       desperately       those   pliant    lips   wanted   to   voice   out   truth               only   if        TO   CHASE         away      the   sadness      tangled    into        loved   one’s       voice.         it   was      mocking ,      teasing        like   always    but   for    the   pitcher   it    meant      more.      a   lot   more.
