In the short time Yinyue Jun got to know Kafka, he is well-informed enough about her obsession with coats. He isn't certain if the Luofu will have the style she is looking for. Nonetheless, it won't hurt to find a gift for her. After all, it is the thought that counts, no?

Hm? Why is he looking for a gift for Kafka?

First off, Yinyue Jun will make a visit to the textile shops and browse through their wide selection of fabrics. He'll need to bring his guest along to see her reaction before making his purchase. Thankfully, his schedule for the upcoming week is almost (if not eerily) blank.

Odd, but he'll take advantage of his brief freedom.

At one of the best textile shop in the market, Yinyue Jun already made a few choices based on Kafka reaction and his observations. She prefers fabrics with a magenta hue with an occasional white or black. For coats, she prefers leather overall. But with the surprise the High Elder had in mind, he chooses lotus silk fabrics and soft cotton.

"For the Luofu current summer, silk will be more to your liking. However, it can be worn in any occasion. It is a luxurious material weaved from lotus stems. Now, do you prefer this shade of purple or-"

What Yinyue Jun didn't realize is how close Kafka is until their lips brush against each other. His teal green eyes went wide in shock. It takes a few seconds for his brain to process what happened before he pulls away. The High Elder immediately puts back his mask of calmness; appearing stoic as ever.

There wasn't even a hint of blush on his cheeks.
