So.

It's very clear that Agatha got the Darkhold around the time that Nicholas disappeared (or whatever happened with him) - and that this is something that people know in witch circles.

Agatha also was very clear with Wanda that she wanted to learn how Wanda was doing what she was doing - and I think this is less about the Westview spell and more about bringing Vision back.

I'm sticking with my theory that Agatha went down the Road for the Darkhold to try and get Nicholas back, that the Darkhold did not give her the ability to bring him back the way she wanted, and that she chased Wanda down for that same reason.

Which gives a really nice parallel between Agatha and what Wanda did in DSMOM. (Not the same. But similar enough.)

And we've already got those parallels anyway in terms of Wanda trying to steal the power from someone inexperienced so that she can get what she wants.

It's just strengthening that.

Nothing wrong at all with not understanding why people are into Haladriel or why people are interested in TROP Celeborn, but it would be nicer all round if people could do the traditional fandom etiquette thing of keeping character/ship hate out of the relevant character/ship tags, tbh.

While it matters if Teen is Billy or Nicholas, in a sense it doesn't.

Agatha is still treating him like her son, like a child to be protected.

She didn't want to take him on the Road; if the Salem Seven hadn't shown up, she probably wouldn't have told him they were leaving.

She was fine with him drinking wine (no, she wasn't; she was playing off of the others reluctance and riling them up; that's what Agatha does) until she found out it was poison, and then she refused to let him drink even though it put her at risk.

Agatha is traumatized by whatever happened with Nicholas. Teen doesn't need to be her literal son to still be her son and the avenue through which we as viewers see her son.

Stop trying to make batman gritty. He's a repressed weirdo who dresses up in a sexy leather outfit to get sweaty and wrestle with dudes and other men and women in fetish gear instead of seeing a therapist for his PTSD

Stop trying to make gotham gritty. If you want a realistic gritty gotham where men seriously do crimes and sad men do standup in comedy clubs whilst being fascists and cops do police brutality and whatever like. That's just new york. That already exists
