"It's pictures of your father back when he was a kid." She had salvaged them from their old house. Of course she never told Mika she had old pictures of him.

♡ || He’d been sitting here for a while waiting for his aunt to arrive, right leg crossed over the left one, and hands placed gently upon his lap — seeming as if he were sleeping due to his eyes being closed. In truth, he may had nodded off for a few moments... After all, coming all this way wasn’t easy for someone like him, especially when he didn’t have much stamina to begin with. Regardless... he still always made sure to meet with the older blonde whenever she had to the time to see him. His eyes somewhat open when he hears her voice call out to him, causing hands to rub at them in attempt relieve himself of the drowsy sensation that lingered, pushing himself forward from the large piece of rubble he placed himself on so he was now standing in front of her.

Sapphire irises looking them over slowly as a smile began to form on his face. “Dad doesn’t look too different from his childhood, minus the fact that he’s older and much more mature looking now. It’s somewhat saddening that he doesn’t really smile anymore...” Honestly, while he had seen Mikaela smile before, he couldn’t actively remember the last time he had done so. This war had taken it’s toll on so many once happy people. “Thank you for showing these to me, auntie. It helps me to know that dad was able to smile because of someone.” Perhaps...
