listen. listen i know we always talk about the autism of akira and akechi and yusuke and futaba but consider: ryuji has SO MUCH autism potential. like what is more autistic than his incredible sense of justice, struggling to grasp concepts others find easy due to a difference in how he understands the world (both relating to school and palace stuff), tendency to be too loud or have poor vocabulary, quick to anger when he's embarrassed, not understanding the joking or sarcastic nature of the people around him/being unable to read the room very well.....

THIS!!! like outside of yusuke's weird interactions with ann, he's an amazing character. the times where i can manage to look over it all, he's even one of my favourites, second to akechi and futaba. and i don't favourite easily. it takes a lot to make me give a fuck about a character.

im hoping that whenever we finally get a persona 6, the developers have learned that women (ESPECIALLY HIGH SCHOOLERS) shouldn't be sexualised so much. because imo, the women in the game are still very well written. they're not given less attention then the men are, their stories are still planned out and they have strengths and weaknesses and desires and other traits that make them feel less like a character on a screen and more like a person.

they just (especially ann) happen to be oversexualized at the same time. ironic for a game who starts you off beating the ass of a pedophile.
