now that everyone is tired of the Cinematic Universes of Everything™ I think it's high time we bullied Stephen King for making One Villain and calling it good
#[KJB! voice] y'know back when i was a faceless demon in a corn field when i was the same guy#back when i was the incarnate of evil in the post apocalyptic world when i was the same guy#i think stephen's biggest failures as a creator (in storytelling not his like. rampant misogyny)#is that he needs an editor who doesnt know who he is#so that editor can tell him that we dont need to know!! every single moment of all of his OCs!! all of their possible lives!!!!!#if im halfway through a book and the plot hasnt started yet theres a Problem#i know he has so many problems w how he portrays various groups but lots of people have talked about it better than i can#so im just here to shit on randall flagg as a concept
