It was agonizing to watch -- to listen -- as two of their best pilot teams FAILED. TWO KAIJU at one time was unheard of -- much less two category four. If he had any nails on the rounds of his fingers, he would’ve threatened to dig them into the table he was leaning against with an inhuman force ; jaw taut as he huffs out a long and heavy breath. Gypsy Danger was suiting up to go out -- and, he hoped that Stacker’s infamous Mako Mori was able to hold her own against the drift this time. And even still -- Gypsy Danger and Striker Eureka was not a match for the two kaiju if it had already taken out Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon. Cassian couldn’t watch this anymore ; pulling aside another J-Tech he knew, whispering something about going to speak to Tendo for him, before leaving the Jaeger bay quickly -- snatching two Jaeger suits off a table as he went and dropping the bag over his shoulder as he brushed past two Ranger trainees -- “Kaylar-” he’s hissing under his breath, shoving one of the bags that held the Jaeger suit into his stomach with a force that may or may not be unintentional - “You wanna play hero, then? Get that on, quickly -- Jaeger bay 5. Five minutes.” Time was ticking away just as quickly as the influx of Kaiju coming from the breach -- humanity was failing, and ..... -- Well, he might be a dead man either way if that was the case. Might as well die inside of a Jaeger, even if it was with a man who had never been inside of one before.
