Inspired by this post right here⬇️ It immediately made me think of Han
Being in your twenties is surely an interesting experience. One might expect of you to be this grown up adult making this important decisions, being all busy doing important stuff, paving your own way in life making connections etc... and You do! There's no way you can escape all that grown up shit. But being in your twenties is also really awesome and interesting because despite being this hardworking people who have their shit together people in their twenties also have the tendency to do a complete 180 and to put it simply do some batshit crazy things and then carry on like it's just a regular Tuesday. Well you would know you're in your twenties and you really just proved yourself your point.
You considered yourself quite normal, rational with few crazyish tendencies because you were human after all. To put it simply you were an average person living their life. Like others you were trying to pave your own way in life, hence why you were here in this university working your ass off. You wouldn't call yourself impulsive or crazy even though you had done your share of let's just say some questionable stuff. Nothing special right? But sometimes the parasites the demon in you just took over. Like now, what the hell was up?
To paint the situation more clearly you were just finished with your midterms and came out of your last exam. Of course it took a lot of energy and effort from you, heck you were barely standing on your feet from fatigue of couple sleepless nights. Maybe it is what made you act up? Not sleeping for really long time made people lose their minds, you had read about the Russian sleep experiment who gave a fuck if it was a creepy pasta.
You were the first to come out of the exam room and obviously overjoyed from bending over the most difficult subject of the semester. You really outdid yourself, all your hard work and dedication paying off. Well being beyond giddy with excitement you wanted to leap from joy to express your happiness.
It's like you felt the adrenaline levels in your body rise, that's when you noticed a boy your age come out of the exam room next to the one you just left. He also looked really happy and pleased wit himself.
Unable to contain your excitement you walked up to the boy who looked quite handsome you might add, and raised your hands and yelled high five. Were you disrupting other students? -Maybe. Did you care? -No not really. The boy was confused for a second but quickly came back to his senses and high fived you. And this is when a really dumb idea stuck you and before you could even think it over and talk some sense into yourself you intervened your hands and got a little closer to him. A smile crept up your face, somehow amused at the poor boys visible confusion. To be honest you had never seen someone who looked so cute while confused. "We're dating now, love you bae." You couldn't believe this words left your mouth and before you could embarrass yourself even more you quickly left leaving the poor boy behind. God he must have been so shocked.
One might think that that's where thing ended up right? And who would blame you? Any rational person would think that you're crazy and/or delusional and would make sure to avoid you at all cost. But we're not talking about rational people in this tale and things didn't end up there. As it turns out the boy, his name being Han Jisung as you came to know him, was just as crazy as you if sometimes not more. For the past year since that happened, that semester and one more he never missed out and whenever he saw you walking in the hallway he always made sure to wave at you all excited and as dramatically loud as possible yell "Hey baby". It didn't matter what the distance between you was, whether you were on the opposite ends of the hallway of standing literally next to each other, everyone's eyes always would end up on you some amused, some annoyed but always all eyeson you two. You always felt torn between finding his antics absolutely adorable and this whole interaction being your highlight of Uni and at the same time wanting to die of shame for all that unnecessary attention. Honestly, at this point, you had quite not so (not at all) small crush on him.
That also lead to your dilemma. Despite basically half of the uni thinking that you and Han were dating you obviously weren't. But you were definitely friends. You first normally talked to him when you were at the party one of his friends threw. To be honest, you weren't completely feeling yourself that day, and when things got a bit too overwhelming you excused yourself and sneaked away to the balcony where you found him. He greeted you as per usual, not failing to put a smile on your face and suddenly you forgot you were feeling tired and shitty. You talked a little about how parties sometimes could be a little too much and then something just clicked! Both of you completely forgot about the party you spent hours talking about everything and nothing at the same time, and you felt so at peace while also feeling excited and completely immersed in conversation. You two got even more close when your friend started dating his friend. Naturally both your friend groups got closer to the point that now all of you decided to enjoy much awaited free time together, and here you were now in the beautiful beach house you had rented. Looking stunned at the double bed you and Han were supposed to share.
You really liked him, way much more since you got to know him better and got closer to him. You couldn't even imagine not having him in your life. Which is why you kept your mouth shut about your feelings. There were few moments where you thought that maybe he did reciprocate your feelings but knowing how flirty and goofy his personality was you decided to let it go and not to hold tightly to the frail branch. You wouldn't risk losing him as a friend. He was the person who made you believe in soulmates. He was your comfort person, someone you could lean on, your source of joy and excitement. You loved how he literally never failed to match your freak and vice versa and all the crazy stuff you did. He gave a new meaning to being alive!
God you were really going off topic, as you could tell you really liked him, which is why you felt beyond embarrassed when you got sorted in the same room as him, and especially now that you found out that there was only a double bed in the room. Yes you two were close and both of you were used to being touchy to each other but you had never once slept together in the same space.
You cursed yourself for agreeing to your friend to switch rooms with her since she wanted to be with her boyfriend Chan, who was supposed to be Han's roommate. You thought that it was not a big deal because you thought there would be two separate beds, you didn't really bother to check since all you wanted was to get sorted quickly and go to sleep as fast as possible. You would so smack her in the morning, you wouldn't risk going into her room now afraid of seeing not so pg stuff. This was the last time you were going to be considerate to your friends! Especially not after she whispered to you before heading to her room that this was your chance with Han and advising you use protection. Like you needed that on top of everything. Your mind already felt like blowing up!
God you were feeling so awkward you couldn't even fully enjoy how beautiful and perfect everything was, not even how this fluffy straight out of heaven bed was basically calling your name, it basically felt like it was tormenting you.
"Well this is interesting." You tried to break the silence and looked over at Han who looked like he wasn't breathing, God just what did Felix and Minho whisper to him? "Han?" you called out to him a bit alarmed when you noticed or maybe hallucinated who even knows that he was starting to pale. Well it did work and he quickly snapped out of it and gathered himself.
"Listen if you feel awkward about this I understand, I can go sleep in the living room." Han spoke with soft reassuring voice and it did help calming your nerves a little making you fell all soft inside. You had to pull yourself together.
"Oh no Hannie, that couch looked uncomfortable as hell, there's no way you can sleep on that your back will hate you for it!" You tried to reason, and Han thought for a second before bringing up another idea about sleeping on the floor but you didn't even let him finish the sentence. "Listen Ji, this is just as much your vocation as it is mine. You're here to relax and have a good time not to sleep on the floor! Thank you for being considerate, I really appreciate that, but I can't make you sleep on the floor. As long as you're comfortable with it we can share a bed. We're both adults let's not make a big deal out of this." Han looked at you in the eyes for a as if second making sure you were really okay with this then nodded his head softly.
"I'll take a shower first if that's okay with you? Han looked a bit dazed for a second but he quickly snapped out of it. "Yeah sure" He stuttered out and as if to distract himself went over to his bag to search for something.
You couldn't help but squeal on the inside about how cute he was being while heading to the bathroom but once it actually dawned on you that you would be sharing a bed you kinda wanted to bash your head against the wall it just felt like a right thing to do.
You made sure to thoroughly wash yourself to the point that when you got out of the shower you were convinced that you were sparkling. You quickly did your skincare, got dressed in your cute new set of pyjamas and even applied some perfume for that extra fresh feeling. Yup you were definetly sparkling. Also the way that Jisung visibly gulped the second he saw you enter the room? Just perfection, an ideal ego boost! Maybe sharing a room with him wasn't such a bad idea.
Han quickly washed up and here you were in the dimly lit room, in the same bed as him. The bed wasn't as big as it seemed, despite keeping your distance you could still feel his bodyheat, hear his every breath, smell his body wash and his natural a bit musky scent...God you felt like a creep! How the fuck were you supposed to sleep in here?
Han was also visibly nervous your bed was almost vibrating from his constant fidgeting and despite finding him cute and all that if he didn't stop in the next five seconds you would smother him with your pillow. Sighing to yourself you started bracing yourself that you two wouldn't get much sleep today.
Jokes on you you were out like a light switch in like 20 minutes. You only awoke because a suspicious sound coming from the next room, you know the one you don't really want checking. Also by the way his hands tightened around your waist Han was awake too. Wait what?
As if fanfiction gods were laughing at you from above you were all tangled up with Han as if him hugging your waist and you using his chest as a pillow wasn't enough. Oh yes you were both adults you could control yourselves nothing would happen, you just HAD to do a speech!
Okay back to important stuff, what the hell were you supposed to do now?- pretend to be asleep? There's no way Han hadn't noticed that you were awake you two were conjoined like Siamese twins! He probably could even tell the slightest shift in your pulse which went up a lot in this 30 seconds in fact you were pretty sure you would have either panic attack or would just simply pass out. It was 50\50.
God how did you manage to find yourself in this situation? And more importantly, who the fuck smells so good and feels this comfortable to hold? This was so not fair!
Han's soft call of your name brought you back from whatever the hell was going inside your head, his voice was warm asking you if you were awake.
"Yes..."You answered quietly your voice muffled a bit from your face still being smushed on his chest. There's no way you could turn to your pillow after this.
"I, uhm..." - Han begin to talk but stammered, unable to find his words, meanwhile you're stuck in the daze, your mind absolutely flipping over how hot his morning voice is. There was no need to mention the state of your heart, that bitch was a goner.
'"What is it Ji?" You ask after a few seconds of awkward silence, after noting how his thumb on his hand which still lies on your waist twitches occasionally, how his chest is rising up and down quicker than normal, how his breathing isn't as even as is should be.'"What is it Ji?" You ask after a few seconds of awkward silence, after noting how his thumb on his hand which still lies on your waist twitches occasionally, how his chest is rising up and down quicker than normal, how his breathing isn't as even as is should be.
Feeling frustrated with himself Han sighed, his arms slightly tightening around you. You don't know what compels you but you looked up, maybe curiosity to know what was on his mind, thinking maybe you can read his face. The sight has you left in awestruck. His hair is all disheveled but somehow looking so fluffy and soft you really wish you can slide your fingers through his locks. His eyes which are unable to hold your gaze sparkle with the morning light. In fact you're convinced if you hadn't already you would surely fall for him from this sight alone.
One second he is looking into your eyes the next he has his face covered with his hands whining about something you can't descipher.
"Ji?" - You couldn't mask your surprise.
"You can't look at me like that!"
"Sorry? Like what?"
Jisung looked through his fingers and scoffed as if the answer to that question was the most obvious thing ever. He sighed in defeat when he noticed that you in fact had no clue what was going on.
"All pretty and stuff." You couldn't help but grin once his answer actually dawned on you. God he was too cute for his own good.
"You think I'm pretty?"
He looked at you with unimpressed expression, then he took the pillow from right under his head and put it on his face and screamed into it like dramatic baby he was. Looking at his theatrics you couldn't help but laugh which resulted disapproving grunt of protest which backfired because it only made you laugh even more.
"Oh come on now, don't be mad! It's not everyday you hear your crush admit you're pretty!" You couldn't help but tease and you waited for your answer to dawn on him.
"Still you shouldn't tease!" Han whined from under his pillow. You wondered how much time would he need to actually realize that you admitted you had a crush on him.
"Come on Jiji! Take off the pillow!"
"No I'm dying here!" He really shouldn't spend so much time with Jisung.
And then there was a pause for a second , then two and by the third the pillow covering his face was thrown from the bed into the room somewhere and Jisung staring at you with his wide boba eyes.
"Wait a minute!"
"There it is! Took you some time pretty boy, almost had me worried." You immediately quipped back.
"Don't fluster me woman I'm having a serious moment here what do your crush?!"
"I meant that I like a pretty boy named Han Jisung but for some reason he is taking his sweet time to get that."
"You have a crush on me?" You couldn't really tell if he was teasing or if he was in awe but knowing him he could manage and do both at the same time. He sure was an unique person.
"Good thing that you're cute pretty boy."
"Stop flustering me!"
"Should I kiss you instead?"
The way Jisung whined was beyond adorable honestly how could you not tease him? Now it was your pillow that was stolen and covering his face and his little squeals,
"Hey Ji." You called after a second, he immediately answered a pillow still on his face.
"Does this mean that we're actually dating now?" You wanted to keep your teasing tone but you couldn't really mask your hopefulness. He immediately got rid of the pillow, the embarrassment long forgotten, in second Jisung had you in his arms hugging you tightly he even gave you an obnoxiously loud smooch on your cheek.
"Absolutely baby." There it was his sweet gummy smile. There's no way you could resist that, softly holding his soft cheek you leaned in and connected your lips into a short but sweet kiss. Jisung looked awestruck for a second but this time he immediately came back to his senses and leaned in to connect your lips into much more passionate kiss, well tried to at least, neither of you could stop smiling after all. You really had to thank your friend in the morning, sharing a bed with Han was surely one of the best decisions you had ever made.

May 22 - Night and May 23 - Apology
Sorry for not updating yesterday. Got a big exam on Tuesday, and studying, as well as working 40+ hours a week, is kicking my ass! Anyway, here we go. Two instalments, so keep scrolling down and hit expand!
Day 22 - Night
"You're joking, right?" Night was falling as John looked up from the laptop, a confused smile on his lips.
"Nope."
"But why?"
"I'd have thought that was obvious."
"To you, yeah, maybe. To us mere mortals, it'll need some explaining. So, why?"
"It has everything. More room. Gardens. Space to expand. Grow."
"You just said you're fed up with living here 'cause it's too quiet, and you want to swap our home for this?" John's voice raised at the end.
"Home? Our home? You haven't lived here for thirteen years. No amount of asking has made you even consider moving back here." Sherlock's own anger started to rise.
"Asking? When have you asked?" John slammed the laptop shut.
"I stopped once it became obvious that you would never accept." Sherlock took a deep breath. "Saved me the pain of repeated rejection."
"Well, now I've said we could move back."
"Yes, and I've told you it's too late."
"So you're packing up and moving to the suburbs. Running away." Sherlock scoffed.
"Hardly. Answer this: what's stopped you from moving here with Rose? Let me tell you. Space. Schools. We have enemies, and they all know this address."
"So what's this then, a fresh address to escape your enemies?"
"Think, John! I wanted it for us both."
John stared at Sherlock. "Us both?"
Day 23 - Apology
"So, you're buying this for us to live in as a family?"
"Yes. With the money from 221b and some of," Sherlock swallowed past the lump in his throat as he thought of all the people he'd, they'd lost in the past two years.
"Yeah, I know. I miss them too."
"I thought it would answer all the reservations that prevented you from accepting my offers. It has space for us all. Cellars to convert into a lab. A study for you. Room for Rose and spares for friends."
"Sherlock,"
"I just wanted to make it easier for you to say yes. So that I could..." Sherlock blinked back the tears that threatened. "I don't want to be alone anymore. I can't." He stood and walked to the window, watching night descend on Baker Street. "I'm sorry," he whispered as the rain on the windows cast shadows like tear tracks.
"It's me who should be apologising. I should have known that you were struggling. What sort of friend am I?" Sherlock laughed humourlessly.
"One who never forgives or forgets. Your good opinion, once lost, is lost forever."
"Trust you to not know anything about the planets but be able to quote from Pride and Prejudice." John's voice came from right behind Sherlock, causing him to turn. "Can I choose my bedroom?"

choi beomgyu ~ not so secret
pairing: beomgyu x fem!reader summary: secretly dating someone in a house of six people isn't easy - especially when you wander out of his bedroom wearing nothing but his shirt. genre: college au, secret relationship, best friends to lovers, romcom vibes lol, suggestive but no actual smut warnings: kissing, implied sex, mentions of peeing lol, swearing word count: 1.7k click here for my masterlist!
when you and your three best friends from high school all managed to get into the same college as your two older friends who graduated before you, you all knew what you had to do.
move in together of course <3
your new apartment wasn't perfect. there was only four bedrooms for six people and only one shared bathroom - which wasn't ideal. you loved it though, you got to move out and live with your best friends - who cared if you all had to fight over the bathroom every morning?
being the only girl, you got your own bedroom by default for your own comfort. you didn't particularly mind, you were comfortable enough with your friends to not feel any pressure to dress well around the house or be 'ladylike' - you could manspread to your heart's content and you knew they wouldn't care - but you definitely weren't going to argue with getting a decent sized bedroom all to yourself with no argument.
the others played rock paper scissors to decide who would get the other room and not have to share - beomgyu won, and they decided it was only fair he got the smallest room, which honestly was more like a glorified closet, but he seemed content with it. taehyun decided to room with kai, and yeonjun roomed with soobin.
finally getting to reconnect with your friends who were in their 2nd year of college was exciting since you missed them dearly once they graduated. you did miss one of them a little more than the others though...
everything was going great for the first couple of months, minus the bathroom arguments until one teeny tiny minor thing changed.
you and beomgyu started dating.
you had liked each other even in high school and had a flirty friendship the whole time, and so you were overjoyed when he kissed you in the kitchen at 4am on a tuesday.
you agreed to be his girlfriend under the pretence that nobody else could know - at least for a little while. you didn't want to lie to your friends, but both of you knew you'd be teased endlessly, and you just wanted a little while to settle into your relationship before you let anyone else know.
and so that you did. the two of you thrived on stolen kisses and longing glances, dedicating any free time you had to each other, cuddling in bed and letting out everything you'd had to hold back when the boys were around.
then there was the incident.
beomgyu got an email at the beginning of the week to let him know his professor got sick and that classes had been cancelled until thursday. conveniently, you didn't have classes at all that week since it was a study period for an exam you had coming the week after. it was tuesday, and you knew yeonjun danced late on tuesday nights. soobin and taehyun had some lab work they needed to do in the evening after their classes, and kai planned to go see his family since he took the same classes as beomgyu and wanted to relax during his free time since classes were cancelled.
it had been a while since you and beomgyu had spent some... quality time together - and so the second the last person went out the door that day, he dragged you into his room and pushed you up against the door.
he pressed his lips to yours and let his hands wander down to your ass, giving it a squeeze as he pushed his body further into you.
"ah- gyu," you breathed out when he broke away to start feathering kisses down your neck. "maybe we should go somewhere else... they could be back at any time you know."
it wasn't the first time you'd been with him, but the two of you avoided being intimate in the apartment for obvious reasons. neither of you were particularly quiet and it was better safe than sorry. on this occasion though, beomgyu was very needy and honestly didn't give a flying fuck who heard you.
"i don't care." he whispered against your neck, finding your sweet spot and beginning to suck a hickey into your neck. a breathy moan slipped past you lips- "but what if they hear us?"
he pulled away from your neck, hooking his finger under your chin and looking directly into your eyes with a sly smirk.
"then be a good girl and be quiet for me hm?"
you awoke to the sound of a bird chirping on beomgyu's windowsill and the light shining in your eyes from the crack in his curtains. you didn't mean to fall asleep with beomgyu - you had an unwritten rule about sleeping in each other's rooms - but you'd spent almost the entire day in there yesterday, only leaving to grab your food from the delivery man and go to the bathroom.
you felt sore and sleepy as you wiggled out of beomgyu's grasp and sat up. you checked the time on his alarm clock - 10:36am.
you really needed to pee.
still in your sleepy daze, you grabbed your underwear from the floor and the first piece of clothing you could find to cover yourself up with and waddled through the apartment to get to the bathroom. empty! score.
while you were in the bathroom, you didn't hear kai and taehyun emerging from their bedroom and talking about their activities from the day before. kai had made plans to go see his cousin today, and taehyun and soobin were supposed to have a class together at 11:30. they were standing in the living room when yeonjun came crashing through the front door, explaining how he'd left his dance shoes at home and needed them for his class later. soobin emerged eventually too and they were all sitting in the living room, organising their backpacks and waiting on whoever was in the bathroom to leave so they could use it.
still weary-eyed and half asleep, you emerged from the bathroom - not noticing your audience until kai's cheery voice sounded out. "good morning Y/N!" you turned to them with a wave. "wait.. is that beomgyu's shirt?"
confused, you looked down at your attire.
oh. oh shit.
you were wearing nothing but your underwear and beomgyu's long black band shirt. the exact one he was wearing yesterday. "i- uh?"
you were much more awake now, but your brain was still failing you on a good excuse as to why you were so scantily clad, in beomgyu's clothes no less.
just as you were about to spew out some bullshit about him lending you it, another voice came into the room. "Y/N?"
he was clearly still sleepy, rubbing his eye and yawning as he showed up in the doorway of his room. your head snapped to look at him and you could have died from embarrassment when you noticed he hadn't even bothered to half dress himself, standing there in only his boxers.
"oh my god." yeonjun chimed in, finally finished stuffing his dance shoes into his bag and looking between the two of you. "DID YOU GUYS FU-" "YEONJUN!" soobin cut him off. "are... are you guys together?"
at the sound of the commotion, beomgyu came around, blinking as his eyes properly adjusted to the light. his eyes widened as soon as they found you in your... outfit. "oh my god," he sighed, turning to bang his head against the wall next to him.
"since when has this been a thing??" taehyun spoke up.
"uh... since last night?" you answered, more of a question than an answer.
"so you are together." soobin clarified. beomgyu turned from his dramatics and looked at you, "may as well just tell them. we can't get out of this one," he laughed. you rolled your eyes.
"we've been together for a few months," you admitted. "three months and sixteen days." you turned to glare at your boyfriend, who looked intimidated by your gaze. "not that i'm counting or anything..." he shrugged.
your friends' jaws hung open as you buried you face in your hands, letting out a frustrated sigh.
"why didn't you tell us? congrats!" yeonjun smiled. "yeah! we're so happy for you guys!" kai added on.
"you probably had a reason for not telling us so we won't pry, but we hope you're happy together," taehyun sent you a warm smile as beomgyu came up behind you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
"we're really happy for you! just um... try to be quiet when you- you know," you nodded, not wanting to hear soobin talk about you fucking your boyfriend. "you know..." taehyun started, "we probably should have noticed before - you two are always acting weird and staring at eachother. i just put it down to beomgyu never getting over his high school crush but now that i think about it..."
"annnd let's change the subject!" you interjected. the man beside you let out his signature laugh and squeezed your shoulder. you gave him an agitated smile before shrugging his arm from your shoulder and pushing him backwards with your hands on his bare chest - back to his room. "come on, time to get dressed!"
you heard the echo of your friends' laughter as you pushed him into his room, following him in and closing the door behind you.
"well that went well!" he grinned, holding back his laughs. you playfully punched him in the shoulder and gave him an exasperated reply, "i can't believe you!"
"what? you were the one who went out in only your underwear and MY shirt??" he pointed out. "i was going to the bathroom! and borrowing a friend's clothes is normal!" you defended. "you don't think it was your fault? did you forget it's the morning and they were probably out there awake? and imagine how it looked when you walked out in your underwear and looking for me??" he laughed, cupping your jaw and pressing a kiss to your forehead. "don't panic, they know now, and everything's fine!"
you sighed, nestling yourself into his chest as his arms wrapped around you. "i guess you're right. at least we can spend more time together now and we don't have to sneak around," you smiled up at him shyly. he kissed your nose and smiled back fondly. "i love you Y/N." "i love you too gyu."
"you know... you should wear my shirts more often. you look hot."
"don't push it."

Chapter 8: Ushijima
Prompt: Reader falls asleep on Character’s shoulder Character: Ushijima _________________
Since starting your third year at Shiratorizawa Academy, you can’t remember the last time you’ve gotten a proper amount of sleep.
Much less sleep in general.
Being in such a prestigious school, of course the workload would be bigger than any average high school. You just didn’t expect to be struggling this hard.
Back in middle school, you remember being levels above your peers. Maybe it was the hours your parents spent drilling you at home, or just natural talent, but you’re pretty confident that your reputation half brought you here.
But as you would learn, reputation and talent could only take you so far.
With your house being way too far to walk or bus, your parents allowed you to stay in one of the schools many dorms. While you were ecstatic about your new freedom, it did have some pitfalls.
Pitfalls being that your study habits were only enforced by your parents. So as any normal teenager would, you started to become lazy. And your grades began to slip.
Fortunately for you, there was rule where students had to obtain a certain average by the end of the year, or they would be kicked. That rule definitely blew some smoke up your ass, because during your first and second year, you did your absolute best to keep above that average. Which you did. Fairly well, too.
But entering your third and final year, you were just so tired. All of the motivation and strength seemed to vanish the harder your classes became. You couldn’t understand your subjects, which lead the unhealthy habit of pulling all nighters, trying to grasp the material on your own.
Eventually, your sleeping schedule had become so messed up that you were only powering on coffee and instant noodles just to get through the school day. And like a deadly cycle, certain classes and concepts were harder to comprehend the longer your brain was starved of sleep.
One example being. Advanced Functions.
For the life of you, you just couldn’t seem to understand anything in that class. No matter how hard you tried to concentrate, tried to focus, it was always in one ear out the other. The textbook seemed so convoluted that it only managed to confuse you further, so studying on your own was a no go.
Needless to say, you weren’t even close to passing this class, and final exams were coming soon. You absolutely needed to do well in this, or else you’d get a letter sent home to your parents, and you can’t even imagine what they’d do to you.
Thankfully, your teacher had the same thought. After class ended, he called you over to his desk.
“I’ve asked a student in this class if they’d be willing to tutor you. I haven’t told them anything about your grades, just that you need some help. They’re available to work with you on Tuesdays in the library. Will that be alright with you?” You manage to keep your face passive and devoid of any emotion. Honestly, you weren’t exactly keen to be tutored, but with your grades this low, you’re really don’t have any other choice other than to throw away your pride and bite the bullet.
“Yes, thank you Sensei, that would be perfect.” You bow and make your exit, having your respectful smile drop the second your face is out of view. You sigh heavily as you made your way to your dorm.
You just hope whoever’s tutoring you can help make sense of this nonsense.

Ushijima was a busy man. Key word was. After losing to Karasuno, the time he needed spend in the gym was significantly less than before. Of course, he went to the gym to practice regularly anyways, working on anything and everything to improve. But, after the coach found out, he told Ushijima to relax and take a break, claiming that he should take this time to rest and relax. Just for a couple weeks, and to take time focusing on his studies.
The only problem was, he didn’t need to focus on his studies. Or relax. He already had highest marks in most of his classes, and stress had never been an issue for him. While most ordinary students could study everything under two hours, he could. While most couldn’t function with five or less hours of sleep, he did. Ushijima had gotten so used to his hectic timetable, that having a huge chunk of it missing was extremely odd to him. Like he didn’t know what to do with himself.
“This is your time to find a hobby, Wakatoshi-kun.” Tendou had told him, to which he only tilted his head in confusion.
“But I do have a-”
“One that isn’t volleyball.” That made him pause. A hobby… That wasn’t volleyball?
Was there really anything?
If there was, he couldn’t think of one.
“How do I find a hobby?” He asks, causing Tendou to hum.
“You gotta try different things out. See if you like it or not.” Ushijima nods, absorbing the advice. It was good advice, but it did bring up an important question.
What’s one thing he could try?
That stuck with him, circling his head for the rest of the day. There seemed to be too many and none all at once. Even if he did find some that seemed interesting, which would he do first? Could he do multiple at once to become more efficient? What if he liked a new hobby but had to stop due to his schedule becoming normal again? If that’s a possibility, what was even the point of trying to find something new?
Ushijima was close to exploding with all the questions that he couldn’t answer and was about to call Tendou again for help, at least until his advanced functions teacher called him to his desk.
“Ushijima-kun, I need your help with something. There’s a student in this class, (Name), who needs a little help understanding the material. Since your season is over and you’re fairly good at the subject, do you think you could help her out?”
As if the gods heard his cries for help, an opportunity had dropped on his lap. But did tutoring count as a hobby? It seemed like a commitment too…
‘You gotta try different things out. See if you like it or not.’ Tendou’s words ring in Ushijima’s head. Well, if he had to try different things out, this seemed like a good start. With the thought being the final push, he agrees with a solemn nod.
“I don’t have a problem with it.”
~~
You jerk awake from the bell ringing loudly in your ear. You confusedly look around to see students getting up and collecting their items around you, signaling in your brain that you must’ve fallen asleep in class again, and you slept through yet another lecture.
Guess I’ll be staying up late again…
You yawn, standing and picking up your bag before making your way out of the class, about to go the cafeteria, at least until you feel your phone vibrating in your pocket.
Was someone calling you?
Confused, you pull it out to hear a soft alarm and text across your screen in dark bold letters reading ‘Tutoring today at the library!’ causing your eyes to widen. You had completely forgotten about it! You let out a slur of curses as you rush up the stairs to the library, hoping that you didn’t make your tutor wait too long.
Practically slamming the library door open, you speed walk to the study area of the library, searching the students that littered the desks, seeing if you recognized anyone from your class. You stand there for a couple minutes longer than necessary, with your extremely heavy eyelids making it considerably difficult to scan peoples faces, but after not seeing anyone at first glance, you start to walk around the area. You don’t know how much time passes until someone calls out to you.
“(Name)-san.” The deep voice makes you jump far harder than it should’ve, with you almost dropping your school bag. You collect yourself as fast as you could and turn your head to the sound, finding none other than the star of the school.
Ushijima Wakatoshi.
Your brain blanks as you continue to stare at him, your mind too tired and too shocked to put together sentences. After a couple minutes of silence, he tilts his head, clearly waiting for your response. That manages to kick your brain into gear.
“Wakatoshi-san.” Your voice is meek, and your face flushes at how stupid you sound. If Ushijima sees your cringe, he doesn’t acknowledge it.
“I’m glad I found you. I thought for a moment you had forgotten about our session.” His comment confirms your suspicions, but it only manages to disorientate you further.
You just never would’ve assumed that the Ushiwaka, the ace and captain of this powerhouse school, was wasting his time tutoring you. You mean, you’re not entirely surprised he was picked to help, he was one of the smartest in your class, (You’re fairly certain he’s a robot, how could someone be so good at everything?) but you just thought he would be way too busy to help anyone.
You also thought with his personality he wouldn’t want to help anybody. Honestly, you’re just confused as to why he even agreed to help you at all. Maybe to put it on his resume?
You don’t know, you assumed that being a prodigy in sport was enough, but you digress.
“Come, I’ve already set up a table.” He motions you to follow him, and with a soft ‘alright’, you follow him to a more secluded part of the study area, with a single desk surrounded by bookshelves, each stocked to the brim with dusty old books. On the desk was you assume his study books and utensils neatly organised. Of course he was a neat freak.
You sit in the chair just across from his, feeling your body almost go limp in exhaustion the second you sit down. You wait until he settles himself and opens one of his books. Your brain once more begins to fail you as you stupidly watch him flip through pages, basically falling asleep with your eyes open. You don’t even realize until you hear a sharp knock on the table.
“(Name)-san?” The voice suddenly comes into focus and you snap up. “Y-yes?”
“Aren’t you going to pull out your books?” Ushijima asks, face stoic as ever. You stutter out a slightly slurred reply as you open your school bag and search for your books.
Only to not find your math books, but your biology books. You scrunch your nose in confusion. It takes your brain a couple of seconds to realize what you did.
You switched your books on accident.
Oh, how badly you want to curl up and cry right now.
Not only was it embarrassing to have one the most popular boys in school tutor you, but to also act like a total ditz was almost too much for you to take. It’s almost like the gods want to mess with you for shits and giggles at this point.
You have to slowly put your bag down, and look back to your tutor, who’s been staring at you for the past few minutes now.
“Wakatoshi-san, I just realized I brought the wrong books by accident. I’m sorry but I’ll have to go back to my dorms to get the right ones.” You give him what you hope is an apologetic smile and begin to stand up, until his voices rings in your ear once more.
“That’s not necessary.” You pause.
“Excuse me?”
“We’ve already wasted enough time as it is. I have no problem sharing my books for this session.” With that he pulls out the chair right next to him and offers the seat.
You’re pretty sure almost every girl would kill to be in your position right now. You can’t stop the blush that forms on your tired face.
“Oh-uh… ah, thank y-you.” You finally managed to get out, wanting to slap yourself subconsciously as you take the seat next to him. The second you sit down; your overworked brain is hit by so many things at once.
He smells nice. Like really nice. You definitely wouldn’t mind curling up to that. Not to mention, his warmth.
You can feel the warmth coming off him in waves.
Sleeping next to that would be so comforting…
You’re snapped out of your thoughts again when you hear a textbook being slid over to you. If you were a little more awake then you are now, you would realize how intimate this was. Sharing a book caused you to be a lot closer than necessary, but of course with you being sleep deprived and Ushijima being Ushijima, neither of you commented.
“So, what are you having troubles in?” He asked, and you go to answer, only to be met with emptiness.
You were so confused; you didn’t even know what you were confused about. You mentally kick yourself. That’s a new low.
Of course, not wanting the captain to know how much a dumbass you were, you responded, “The first couple chapters really messed with me.” Which isn’t a lie, you just didn’t mention the rest of the chapters that messed you up as well. He nods and goes to the beginning. Then begins to explain the main concepts of the chapters.
“A polynomial function has specific characteristics that define them from another other kind of function. With those characteristics being a domain of real numbers, a possibility of the range being restricted by both upper and lower bounds, and these functions do not have horizontal…”
You hear his words turn into nothing but mixed sounds as he continued to explain. As much as you tried to focus, you feel your eyelids becoming impossible heavy. You were trying, you really were, even pinching yourself ever once in a while and biting the inside of your mouth as hard as possible, but with Ushijima’s voice this low and soothing, you were fighting a losing battle. You didn’t expect that when he wasn’t scaring you out of sleep, that his voice was actually extremely nice to listen too.
Not to mention his unexpected but totally welcomed comforting aura, his warmth, his smell and the quiet atmosphere, they were all begging you to let go and leave the realm of the conscious. While you were too busy fighting the war, Ushijima was too focused on the book and pointing out examples that he didn’t even realize.
You only manage to last a couple more minutes, until you see nothing but long awaited black.
~~
“…Then there’s quartic, quintic, so on and so forth. There are polynomials bigger than these, but the likely not to appear on the exam so we don’t have to cover them. Between these main five functions there are subdivision that we can also use to characterize them, for example-” Ushijima is cut off by a warm pressure falling on his arm. He turns confused to find you, positively knocked out and now using his arm as a pillow. His thought process is cut off.
Well this is… a development.
Ushijima figured you were tired. In fact, he had known for a long time, that you weren’t getting the sleep you needed. Just a quick glance in class, or talking to you, your slurred speech and heavy eyes, made it easy for anybody to figure out. However, he didn’t think it was to the point of passing out anywhere and everywhere.
He’d be impressed if he wasn’t inherently worried.
He been around people who were sleep deprived, previous senpais and enthusiastic kouhai’s who couldn’t get enough of volleyball, and it does terrible things to brain. Once it had been the point of someone ending up in the hospital.
Ushijima watched you with worried thoughts swirling his mind, as you had a look of absolute comfort on your face, even sleepily nuzzling your face into his arm, which caused him to stare at you a couple seconds above normalcy.
His slightly weird stare was cut off by the bell, which did put his thoughts back into gear. What was he supposed to do? Wake you? Call a teacher?
Well, one things for sure, he couldn’t just leave you here.
So, seeing this as the best course of action, he attempted to wake you.
“…(Name)-san…” He said gently, nudging you with the arm you were sleeping on, you made some sounds of discomfort, before rubbing you nose into his arm again and falling back to sleep.
It was almost cute. Almost.
“(Name)-san.” Ushijima says with a little more finality, which does cause you stir a little more, even causing you to open your eyes a little, but he could tell you were far from awake.
“She’ll be right with you.” You breathe out, which does make Ushijima lips quirk up the tiniest bit.
“(Name)-san, you have to wake up.” He’s reached his regular loudness now, hoping that he wouldn’t have to raise it higher to get you to wake. Thankfully, you manage to open your eyes fully, but is was safe to say that you weren’t completely conscious. You were almost like in a drunken state, with your pupils blown wide and the dazed expression you wore. Looking at you, Ushijima then decided what he needed to do. He couldn’t possibly let you go to class like this, not when you needed something so vital to the brain.
He grabs you by the shoulders to bring your head off him, making sure you don’t wobble too much. Once he’s sure you won’t bang your head on the table, he gets up and starts to collect your things.
“Hm? Is the session over?” You slur, eyes have lidded as you watch him pick up your bag.
“Yes.”
“Did I do well?” You ask with a tired smile, clearly not remembering what happened. Or what didn’t happen. For reasons even he didn’t know, Ushijima decides to humor you.
“Yes.” You raise your arms in the air in happiness, letting out an excited ‘yay!’ in a shushed voice, which Ushijima is extremely grateful for, as he didn’t want to cause a ruckus in the library.
He turns back to you. “Can you stand?” His question turns your mood for some reason, and you huff like a child. “’Course I can stand! Who d’you take me for?” And very quickly, as if to prove your point, you stand from your seat, only for your mind to spin and knees to wobble. Out of reflex to stop you from falling, Ushijima grabs your waist to steady you.
You two stand like that for a while, with your bodies a lot closer than they should’ve been. After what felt like an eternity, you break out into a goofy yet proud smile.
“See? Told ya I could stand.” Ushijima face is passive at best and remains silent. Only giving you a nod while he grabs his stuff along with yours as you two make it out of the library. He holds onto your waist to make sure you don’t fall when walking, but when he secures that you can walk, albeit a little slow, he still doesn’t let go. Walking through the halls and out to the dorms you both we’re met with a lot of stares. And whispers.
Not that either of you noticed.
After he’s exited the school and begins to walk to the girl’s dorms.
“What is your dorm number?” Ushijima asks, for you to snap out of whatever trance you were in.
“Uhhh… red… I think…” He looks at you, visibly confused.
“What?” You look at him back, clearly trying to think through the mess that was your brain.
“Wait… What did you ask me?” Ushijima has to keep in a sigh.
“Your dorm number.”
“Oh… That’s… Uhh… four…thirty-one.” You say.
“(Name)-san, there’s only two floors.” You two now stand in the front of the girls’ dorms, and since it was lunch hour, the likelihood that someone would be there, was considerably low, which did save Ushijima the explanation. You try to articulate a proper answer, but your brain this melted, Ushijima didn’t really have high hopes. So instead, he let go of you for a second, to read the names on the lists of the many mailboxes that littered the entrance hall. After a couple minutes, he found your name.
“208.” He says. Not even close. He watches the look of realization appear on your face.
“Ohhh, yeah that’s right!” He doesn’t hold back the sigh this time, grabbing your hand, and bringing you up to your dorm. Surprisingly, the dorm is unlocked, but you must’ve forgotten to lock it this morning when you left. He opens it and leads you in. You just follow in after him and just stare, clearly not knowing what to do.
Ushijima drops your things on your desk and takes you and sits you on your lower bunk bed.
“You should stay here and rest. You don’t have to worry about your next class, I’ll go and tell your teacher that you’re not feeling well.” He tells you, but like before, you just stare at him, telling him its just going in one ear and out the other. Out of the corner of his eye, he’s spots a random notepad and pencil. Ushijima turns away from you and takes the notepad and pencil.
“I’ll just write this down for you, so you can read it when you are in a correct state of mind. I hope you can learn to have a proper sleep schedule, it’s extremely vital to your health and not sleeping is actually- ” When he turns to you again to place the note, he finds you just as before. Knocked out on your bed, not even lifting your legs from the ground.
Ushijima watches you again for more than he cared to admit, before taking his stuff and leaving your room.
And to think he just wanted to try something new…
~~
You slowly open your eyes, to find yourself on your bed and still in uniform. You sit up, confusion hitting you hard.
How did I get here? What day is it? What time is it? How long did I sleep for?
You started panicking a little, at least until you spot a piece of folded paper on your nightstand. Curious, you open it.
(Name)-san, you fell asleep during our session, and I didn’t feel it was acceptable to leave you, so I brought you back to your dorm. I told your teachers that you weren’t feeling well, so please feel free to relax and rest. I strongly recommend that you get a proper sleep schedule, as what you are doing is dangerous.
We’ll continue our tutoring next Tuesday, hopefully you should feel better by then.
Ushijima Wakatoshi
You might just have cardiac arrest.

I hope you like it <3
‘Yo, Suga!’
Suga’s head appears from behind the precariously stacked wall of books on the library table. ‘Yes?’
‘Geez, isn’t that overdoing it?’ Asahi chuckles, gesturing to the books.
‘Well, I guess so,’ Suga replies, ‘but exams are only a week away.’ He shuffles aside some of the haphazardly strewn books and papers and pens, giving Asahi and Daichi space to sit down.
‘Where’s Yn?’ Daichi asks, peering around.
‘She’s around,’ Suga replies, ‘I think she went to the bathroom…’
‘I’m right here!’ Yn pops their head around the shelves. ‘I’ve been looking for this damn book for twenty minutes now.’
‘Oh yeah, looks like a long read.’
‘Can’t be helped,’ Yn says, sitting down next to Suga. ‘Tuesday’s exam is going to kick my ass if I don’t absorb this entire book.’
‘Take it easy, Yn,’ Daichi says. ‘You look a little tired, have you been sleeping alright?’
Suga glances at Daichi, then at Yn.
‘Well, yeah, kind of,’ Yn replies, nudging Suga’s arm affectionately. ‘Usually after we call.’
‘Which reminds me, I need to send you the link to this video that explains chapter eight in a bit more detail,’ Suga says absentmindedly. ‘It’s forty five minutes long but there’s some good illustrations in it that highlight how complex–’
‘You guys seem busy,’ Asahi interjects politely. ‘We should be heading off, we’ll tell the others that you’re studying this afternoon.’
‘Oh no, it’s okay,’ Yn says, glancing at their phone. ‘I actually forgot I promised I’d be home to receive a package later.’
‘You’re leaving already?’
‘Sorry,’ Yn says, ‘I’ll call you tonight, though? We can go through the last of these notes together!’
‘Yeah, sure,’ Suga replies, squeezing Yn’s hand before turning back to his notes.
Yn hesitates, before gathering their things and disappearing between the aisles of books.
An awkward silence falls between the friends, before Daichi pipes up.
‘Hey, Suga, did you see how red Yn’s lips were?’
Suga looks up from his notes, his pen paused above the paper. ‘You noticed it, too?’
‘It wasn’t subtle…’ Asahi says, quietly. ‘To be honest, I think they had been bleeding.’
‘Bleeding?’ Suga’s face fills with shock. ‘I didn’t realise it was that bad. I thought it was just sunburn.’
Daichi and Asahi share a look.
‘Okay,’ Daichi says sternly. ‘I see what’s going on. You’re too focused on your studying, you’ve neglected Yn. Maybe you should put the books away and spend some quality time with them.’
‘What do you mean?’ Suga asks, a little hurt.
‘Daichi’s right… I think Yn is really stressed. A lot of lip biting is caused by anxiety… I haven’t seen it that bad before, and I’ve known them for years.’
Suga pauses thoughtfully. ‘You’re right. The books could wait.’
‘We just mean–’
‘I have an idea,’ Suga says, grinning. ‘Thank you for slapping some sense into me.’
Yn arrives home sweating and tired, the heavy books in their bag weighing painfully on their back. They abandon the bag in the hallway and head to the bathroom, the light soft against their skin. They peer at their lips, swollen like a blossoming red rose. The urge to bite is strong, the pain satisfying momentarily distracts them from the bubbling anxiety in their belly.
Exams were only a week away but with the high percentage of worth the marks carry, anxiety had been slithering throughout the schools hallways like a giant snake stalking its prey, following students home so they could not find respite, even in their beds.
A knock at the door sounds loud and urgent.
As Yn pulls the door open, Suga almost drops the stack of books in his arms and the bags at his elbows.
‘Oh, Yn!’ Suga grins. ‘Mind if I come in?’
‘Of course,’ Yn says, bewildered. ‘Let me help you.’
In the living room, Yn places the stack of books on the coffee table, wondering how Suga could manage getting through them all with practice almost every afternoon. Despite being as passionate about volleyball as the others, he could somehow find the time to study when he really wants to.
‘So,’ Yn says, falling into the crease of the soft couch, ‘what brought you here?’
Suga glances at them, his mouth in a small frown, the creases between his brows knitted. ‘Look,’ he begins, ‘I have noticed that you’ve been a little… out of sorts, lately.’
Yn frowns, fidgeting in their lap with their fingers.
‘I don’t want you to ever feel like you’re less than beautiful, by the way!’ Suga says quickly, placing his hands on either side of Yn’s face.
Yn’s cheeks begin to flush. ‘What do you mean?’ They squeak.
Suga hesitates. ‘You’re doing it right now –’ Suga pauses, pointing at Yn’s lips, ‘you’re biting your lip too much!’
Yn swallows hard. ‘Oh. I hoped you wouldn’t notice.’
Suga smiles softly. ‘It took me a few moments to really see it.’ He hesitates. ‘I was too focused on studying, when I should have been looking out for you. I’m sorry.’
‘No, it’s okay!’ Yn blushes. ‘You’re here now! And it’s just anxiety, I mean, it’s always there, what can you do?’
‘Well…’ Suga says, turning to the coffee table. ‘I’m not sure if any of this will help, but I wanted to make up for not being one hundred percent there for you when you’re anxious.’
‘What do you mean?’
‘These are just some small gifts,’ Suga says. He opens the thick paper bags, revealing a fluffy blanket, a few lip balms, a small box of tea, a journal, and all of Yn’s favourite snacks. ‘I know it’s not much, and it can’t fix your anxieties completely, BUT I do think that tea will help, and maybe you can journal some of your worries and one of these lip balms is good for deterring lip biting, I think,’ Suga says quickly. ‘And of course, the blanket is for when it gets cooler and we can play games or something, together.’
A comfortable silence fills the room. Yn processes the gesture slowly, their eyes welling, their chest swelling with butterflies.
‘Oh no,’ Suga says, pulling Yn into a hug, pressing them to his chest. ‘I’m sorry, was it too much?’
Yn breathes in his scent, the clean soapy smell mixed with the day’s activities. Familiarity and safety is how Yn would describe Suga and his hugs, the gesture alone could deter them from the worries that plagued their mind.
‘This is too nice,’ Yn murmurs. ‘It’s just a bitten lip, why are you doing so much over that?’
‘Well, I don’t know what’s going on in the background – I’d like to,’ he says quietly. ‘I’d like to sit here and listen to you talk about what’s worrying you, if you’d let me. You never have to, if you aren't comfortable, but I’m always here.’
‘I get it now,’ Yn says, sniffling. ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t want to bother you because I know you’ve been busy too. Exam season gets us all, doesn’t it?’
Suga laughs. ‘It does, but it’s my job to also look after you.’
‘Does it bother you?’ Yn asks quietly. ‘My lips…’
‘Well, it looks a little painful,’ Suga replies. ‘I’d hate for you to endure the pain or get an infection. That’s why I picked up the lip balm specifically for healing lips,’ he says, reading the back of the lip balm.
Yn curls into the crook of Suga’s arm, peering at the lip balm. Suga takes Yn’s chin, and tilts their head upward, gently applying the lip balm to their lips. The cooling sensation spreads over their lips like a lovely cool breeze. ‘It feels pretty good so far, thank you. Thank you for this. I never expect you to do anything for me, but this has made me feel a lot better – just knowing you care. That you’re here for me. Thank you.’
Suga smiles warmly, squeezing Yn against his chest. ‘If none of this helps you feel less anxious, I’ll just have to squish the anxieties out of you!’
‘Well,’ Yn squeaks, ‘I wouldn’t mind the cuddles!’

felt inspired to write this on tuesday, so I'm happy about that. my regular trope of not sure where its going lol but here it is, enjoy! cw: helmut, felt i needed to tag that lol
The Music House was an older wooden cottage at the crest of the hill on the far end of the campus. The welcome booklet says its for the acoustics and so that the noise of campus doesn’t affect the orchestra students while they practise for whatever award winning event they had coming up.
Truthfully, it was so that no one truly heard how loud Helmut got when he yelled at people.
Lewis sighed as he stopped playing, his tattooed fingers jarring the piano keys harshly in his annoyance. Daniel leaned back in his chair, pulling the neck of his cello to rest against his chest while they both listened to the shouting coming from down the hall.
“He’s really giving it to him today isn’t he?” Lewis muttered, knowing just who the unfortunate victim of Helmut’s warpath was today.
“Jos called this morning. Mentioned Max was spending more time studying chem than prepping for the music exams.” Daniel flicked the g string absently, barely letting the plucked tone sound before he flicked it again. He looked up at the clock on the wall, counting down the time before his own one on one with the raging mentor.
“Fuck.” Lewis breathed, knowing that their friend’s father was the worst kind of overbearing parent. They were all under differing levels of stress this year. Last year's music exams hadn’t ‘met the schools’ standards’ as per the lecture Toto had given when the results had come in last year where there had been more Merit grades than Distinctions. The one kid that had gotten a Pass had been dismissed quietly.
The door slammed open and a broad figure stormed out and towards them. His usually pale face was red and pinched and he clutched his sheaf of sheet music in one hand and his violin and bow in the other. Daniel shifted to get up and go after his friend.
“Ricciardo, get your ass in here!” Bellowed from the hallway. Lovely.
Lewis watched with a grimace as Daniel collected himself. “Meet me afterwards?” He asked.
“I’ll let you know.” Daniel felt bad for not outright accepting– no matter how much he did want to meet up. But he couldn’t think about stolen moments with Lewis when he was about to literally be ripped to shreds. Helmut was in one of his moods and that meant that he was going to be a nasty asshole no matter what. And Daniel was the next victim up.
Lewis didn’t understand, not when he was Toto’s star mentee. Not when he topped the Distinction list year after year and had been playing the piano backing in the orchestra since his first year. He didn’t have it easy, of course not. Not while sitting on such a high pedestal– he had to push himself twice as hard to be perfect every time. But Daniel didn’t have the time to appease Lewis’ ruffled feathers. Not when he was fighting to be promoted to first chair, not when his 129 Pass haunted his every waking moment. It was what the board used to put him on probation for a few months last year. All to scare him into doing better, as if the red envelope they’d mailed his ‘failure’ in hadn’t been enough. That one point haunted him all year and he couldn’t let Lewis distract him into making the same mistake twice.
Daniel entered the studio as quietly as possible, Helmut was making himself a cup of tea in the far corner so he took the opportunity to set up his things. He was sat in the chair with his sheet music open to his exam piece by the time the older man lowered himself back into his chair.
“We’ll start at the arpeggio.” Helmut muttered and Daniel inwardly cursed. It was going to be a long session.
#dewis#lewis/daniel#felt inspired by that all star composition piece and it brought me back to orchestra days#fun fact; i have a level 2 distinction in orchestral performance (or whatever its actually called) from the royal school of music lol

Rizzy reo
(Hi guysssss this is my first work so im sorry if this is bad 😭 feel free to let me know how to improve 😋😋 -bootyhoe)
(warnings‼️‼️ no pronouns are used for Y/n in this story but it is said that they wear a skirt in their uniform you can of course just say pants if you feel comfortable with that instead anddd that’s it ENJOYY ❤️❤️)
Y/n’s POV———————————————————————
06:37 AM
I walk down a long sidewalk. I’m not the most familiar with it but i go this way when I need it. It’s an early Tuesday morning and it was just so difficult to get up this morning. I’m in dire need of a latte right now. I was up all night studying for an upcoming exam and kept on getting distracted thinking about a certain purple haired boy. Oh how I loved his purple hair, it suited him really well. Reo Mikage. I’ve had a crush on the guy for a few months now. I stop in front of a cafe I usually visit when I have a rough time in the morning, I swing the glass door open and walk inside the warmth hitting my face immediately making me feel cozy.
I greet the girl behind the cash register, she looked a little older than me, somewhere in her early twenty’s. I give her my order and pay, after, I go sit at a small table with 2 chairs facing each other. I pull out one of the chairs and hang my beige messenger bag on the back of it, after I do I sit down and pull out my phone. It read 06:44 as the time. I didn’t have to be at my school till 07:10 and it was only a five minute walk from the cafe. I actually had time to enjoy my latte and it will be a lot more enjoyable considering the cold weather. “Y/n!” I hear one of the other girls shout out my name and I stand up to go get my drink. I thank her and take my drink off the counter and go back to where my bag was. I sit for a few minutes scrolling on my phone and taking sips of my drink here and there. I check the time again. “06:56.. I guess it’s time to start walkin’ towards that stupid ass school.” I Mutter lowly to myself.
I stand up and push the seat in. I open my bag and toss my phone into it. I sling it over my shoulder and take a final sip of my latte then walk over to throw it away. I brush off my uniform. I don’t mind the uniform we have to wear to school, the black skirt is cute and I like the checkers in my top but they’re hidden underneath my winter jacket right now. I wear basic new balances but I switch it up here and there, not like it matters to much anyway. The stockings I wear underneath my skirt are only for winter, I wear knee high socks any other season. I wave goodbye and say thank you to the women before walking out of the door. I pop my AirPods into my ears and play some music to keep me entertained on my short walk.
————————————————————————
07:02
I take my time switching my shoes into my school ones and walk into my classroom. I see a few people here and there. I wave at a few of my friends. We’re all sadly separated me in the back and the two of them in the front. And don’t get me wrong it sucked i didn’t sit with them but my seat partner was good enough for me. It was my crush, Reo. He wasn’t here yet. I didn’t expect him to be. He always comes into the class with a minute or 2 to spare with his best friend Nagi. I slowly take out my books and a few pencils from my bag before placing them neatly on my desk. I pick up my mechanical pencil, pump out some led, and draw little hearts and stars on my desk. “Hey Y/n! How was your morning? Sure was cold out today huh.”
I hear the oh so familiar voice of my seat mate and feel the tips of my ears heating up. “Hey Reo, yeah it was really cold this morning I love winter but my hands were freezing my whole walk here! My morning wasn’t the best but I’ll manage.”
I let the answer roll off my tongue to the handsome boy who was now facing me in his seat, our knees touching. “Oh? Your hands, are they still cold?”
He raises an eyebrow at me, “Well..yeah, not as bad but they’re still kind cold.”
I mumble, as I place my hands on top of one another on my desk. “Here, I wore gloves to school, let me warm your hands up.” I hear what Reo says and my eyes dart from him to my hands that were now enclosed into his bigger ones.
I feel not only the tips of my ears this time, but my whole face heat up. Reo rubs his warm, calloused fingers against my softer ones. I stared at our hands for a few seconds and slowly bring my eyes up to his face again.
He was also looking at our hands but he seems to notice me look up because he looked up into my eyes with his deep purple ones, a smile plastered on his face. He leans over to me our faces closer together as he places his mouth by my ear. “Are your hands alright now or do you want me to keep warming them up?” I can hear my heart beating loudly in my ears as I gulp not knowing how to answer.
I hear Reo start giggling next to my ear as he pulls away from my face still keeping my hands in his. “I’m just messing with you, Y/n. I wouldn’t mind though. If you wanted to keep our hands like this I mean .”
Am I hearing right? Did he just say he wouldn’t mind? Doesn’t matter now. This is a good opportunity for me to shot my shot with my crush and I’m not going to let it go to waste. I nod to Reo and say, “I wouldn’t mind either. If you wanted to hold hands a little longer I mean.” I mimic his words, a smile growing on my face.
He returns the gesture and mutters a little “Good” before facing the teacher in the front of the class.
Our hands were still together underneath our desks. I’m definitely not going to be wearing gloves to school if it means I get to hold hands with Reo again.

unsolicited life update lol
i'm so exhausted,,,,,, this week was Hell actually and i'll compartmentalize my ranting into two categories: when will god kill me with lightning nd pretty ok AJDJDJJE
when will god kill me with lightning:
i JUST took an exam that i was complaining about for weeks both here and to my irl and discord friends last tuesday but i need to start studying for another one that'll kick my ass next wednesday
it's graduation season and i work part time in my university's admin office and we've been asked to take up a lot of extra hours of overtime bc of how understaffed they are with the preparations for the rites
some internal relations in the academic organization i'm leading are FUCKED and the actual person in charge of those matters is a little mia so i have to deal with it in his place on top of school and work
the weather has been craaaaaaazy lately. one minute it's raining like the universe wants to wipe my campus off the map then the next the sun is burning through the streets like it's summer all over again
I am just so physically nd mentally nd spiritually exhausted bc my day kinda looks like: PE at 8-11am, work at 11-3pm, a major class at 3-5pm, overtime at 5-8pm, studying at 8-whatever time i feel like sleeping AHDJFJJW
pretty ok:
i got the highest score in the exam that i was dreading for WEEKS but it's kinda depressing bc out of everyone taking the course, only three of us passed 😔
my seniors who just graduated are actual sweethearts and they treated everyone to karaoke and drinks until morning <3
went swimming with some classmates bc our PE professor rented the university pool area for us to use freely !!
my summer term ends next week, i really just have to get that last exam over with
well that's pretty much it LOL if you actually read all this nonesense i literally love you but i hope this explains why i'll have to put writing on hold (even tho i've alr been doing that for a while now)

getting into high-end ff14 content made me realize 2 things.
1). many people who have particular responsibilities have NO business with them
2). apparently i'm a fucking genius when it comes to shit because i can watch a short guide and understand what to do while everyone else apparently needs several days worth of catch up to do one of the most basic be-here-then-go-here shit on the planet. i have never been more frustrated with humanity. i am so tired. everyone i meet is either someone who takes thing too seriously and has zero skills to back it up or there's people with a wife and kids and a 9 to 5 job and a mortgage who come home from work and are somehow fine with doing MORE work dealing with people who dont know their fucking job and everyone is managed by someone who's an absolute pushover and still expects to be the "leader"
like i don't consider myself very smart. everything in this game appears to be very easy, i don't struggle with any of it, i don't understand how all of these seemingly normal people can struggle so hard with mechanics that have been reused over and over with a new coat of paint, and I feel guilty even suggesting its easy because of how hard everyone makes it out to be
do not believe anyone when they say ff14 is hard. it isn't. it's one of the easiest games i've ever played, i have never felt personally challenged by something in it and the only difficulty i'm having is being around dipshits who somehow don't understand how something works. i feel like i'm in a classroom full of people who showed up to the exam without studying anything and it's like they expect a clear just for showing up. buddy, this fight has so much personal responsibility that if you don't figure your shit out, the WHOLE CLASS fails, and you can't move on until you pass.
and i KNOW its easy because I made my OWN group out of frustration and we cleared THE FIRST DAY WE STARTED RAIDING. the VERY FIRST DAY. I have been with this other group for MONTHS.
this group cannot handle clockwise and counterclockwise somehow. there are markers on the floor arranged in a clock. it got to the point where I had to suggest that people look for a particular number and rotate towards it, and somehow, everyone STILL messed it up.
not only that, but in this group, any time I try to express something that goes against their ideology either the leader gets on my case or one of the members gets on my ass. just the other day I had this fucking asshole who was running shield healer who WASNT APPLYING SHIELDS?? during PROG??? and when I said "hey can we get shields" he was like "no we're good" we were dying. bodies on the floor right in front of him.
so I asked why. his argument? we cant have shields. it would mess up his gcds. I have CLEARED THIS FIGHT ALREADY, AND WITH SHIELD HEALER. so I know we can have shield for Every raidwide. and when I tried to explain how, he got angry and was like "no the fuck we cant and i will NOT have someone micromanaging my gcds" buddy my friend is dead on the floor right there and it's your fault
we proceeded to not hear from him the following week. essentially no-call-no-show but for a videogame and not a real job. whatever, not my problem. just meant I could be shield healer. and that day went super well! we had prog. i was healing. we didn't die outside of people failing their personal responsibilities.
i mean it when I say I genuinely don't enjoy the game anymore. I'm so exhausted from dealing with people who don't give a shit and aren't trying hard enough, are too stubborn to do anything different and hate it whenever I do anything whatsoever that goes against their agenda. it's not a team at all, it's a fake ass leader who can't lead with followers who are so fucking mindless braindead that they think they can mindlessly follow this failure of a leader into a clear for a fight they've been stuck on for THREE MONTHS STRAIGHT.
it takes up so much time out of my week (3 hours on both monday and tuesday so back to back, very exhausting, reminder i dont like these people because they treat me like shit and simultaneously I'm the only person who cares about what we're doing) and there were times where I legitimately would've preferred working (which i cant do while playing this game) and man I hope they get rid of me because my martyr complex keeps me from leaving them until we clear the fight
don't play final fantasy 14 it's not fun it's not worth it and if you do then dont talk to anyone. i legit only have fun when its with my friends and I have yet to meet a person on 14 I could make any sort of meaningful connection with. they're all so normal feeling, they're always like 5 years older than me and it freaks me out, I don't fit in, I don't belong there, and I don't want to stick around in a place I don't feel I belong in. the ONLY good thing about the game is that I can play as a big kitty cat

Today I started writing in my notebook where I affirmed (and will still affirm) that everything written here will be manifested. I put several rules in the front page and wrote affirmations in it. I took the idea from a post that I saw quite a while ago about fun things to manifest and this was the most fitting to me (even though I’m actually pretty sure I manifested telepathy).
I need to learn how to control my telepathy skill though because when I was writing in my book and drinking, I thought how this drink is something I made several people be addicted to and one of the people I thought actually effing showed up and I had to quickly close everything and hide the fact that I was writing in it and listening to subliminals. I didn’t tell this person about the law and I really didn’t feel like explaining myself because “people think I have improved but became weird since the SP incident”. I just said that this notebook was private and it was making my life better. But still… THE ODDS! I either control my thoughts or go write in a mountain 😂
Also, my cousin called me this morning to tell me he was worried about the exam he was going to take that day because he was filled with anxiety and couldn’t focus on studying. I told him to not worry, that his exam will probably get postponed for next week. He told me that was impossible because the teacher mailed him and the rest of people about it. After I came back from my writing session, my cousin calls me and tells me how the f do I keep predicting stuff because the teacher had car troubles, got stuck for hours and the exam got postponed to next Tuesday. So I told him to move his ass and get good grades because my birthday is on Tuesday so I want him to make me proud as a gift if he was broke (since he’s waaaaay younger than me).
My poor cousin is still in shock between my LoAss partner in crime and me “predicting” stuff since he joined our Splatoon 3 team. I think eventually I’ll teach him about the law after he’s done with exams.
Now I’ll affirm that my notebook is manifesting everything and think if to affirm hard tomorrow because it’s the Night of Wishes!

Semester One
Read the First Chapter or Read Other things in other places with the help of this
@karaboutmyart @jj-pines @lerenee
“Indigo?”
“Oui, jellyfish?”
“What do you know about them?”
Rowan showed their guardian a group picture of their new friends and acquaintances they were sent while in the kitchen, “Ah, I know plenty,” Indigo remarked, before turning back to the stove continuing to cook dinner.
“Can you tell me about them?”
Indigo let out a laugh, “You know you can ask them about themselves,” she stated, to which Rowan sighed.
“I know. I have asked Georgia, and she’s told me some stuff,” Rowan lamented, “But I don’t want to just text Maverick over Elias, like “hey tell me about yourself so I feel safer.” That makes me sound like a horrible person.”
“Well, Maverick Hansen, is a senior, and is Calvin’s apprentice,” Indigo started, “He keeps to himself and is an excellent scholar. Georgia is one of his best friends and of course he and Nemo are close. He’s shy but ambitious, I think Calvin said at one point that he wants to leave the island when he’s able, so he can settle elsewhere.”
“Calvin’s apprentice?” Rowan asked.
“He’s studying to be a healer,” she answered.
Rowan nodded. “The Hoedemaker twins are juniors and come from the house of the pearl. Their family makes magical equipment, mostly bullets, and it’s very obvious who is the favored twin,” Indigo continued, “Elias is highly creative, with an equal love of photography and fashion, I have never seen him without a camera. He overthinks on a regular basis, and he has a liking for my classes. I think it’s because I don’t give out exams. Nemo… I don’t know a lot about him, actually, I only know what Sloan has told me. Nemo is angry at the world, resents his brother, and wants to be an alchemist, as well as a positive role model for his little sister.”
Indigo chuckled to herself, “He and Sloan are very alike. Becoming Sloan’s apprentice is not easy, and I know that Nemo didn’t just do it with natural skill in alchemy. That boy has worked his ass off to be as good as he is today, and yet he still has so much work to do.”
“Okay. Georgia is basically the sun, Maverick is a loner, Elias is a worrier, and Nemo is… angry, how did they become friends?!”
“As far as I know Georgia and Maverick became friends when they were children, Elias and Georgia became friends years later, because they were neighbors and had a shared love for the arts. The three of them became friends, because of Georgia. Once Maverick and Nemo got close, they all just formed a little clique,” the French mage explained, “Which it seems they have invited you into.”
Rowan laughed slightly.
“Any other questions?”
“What exactly is a seer?”
“Seers are individuals that have the insight to the future,” the mage professor answered, “Often found in Europe, they were usually depicted as old women, in many different ways they can see the future, not only in general but of others as well. The Nozadze, Georgia’s family, are a lengthy line of Seers I believe.”
Rowan nodded, “She said that her powers were special though.”
“I have heard that some seers have different “types” of abilities, but you would have to ask Georgia yourself about her own aptitudes,” Indigo replied.
“Gotcha,” the teen remarked.
A ceremonious ding of a phone caught Rowan’s attention, they checked their smart device and saw an email from the college, marked: Spring (February – April) 10 Week Class Schedule.
“I got my class schedule,” they stated.
8:00 – 9:00 Monday & Wednesday | Biology 130 | Percival Kowalski | Upper RM 105
9:15 – 10:15 Monday - Thursday | European Literature | Kim Lesley | Upper RM 135
10:25 – 11:35 Monday | Introduction to the History of Magic | Indigo Bookstone-Corals | L RM 75
10:25 – 11:35 Tuesday - Thursday | Anatomy 1 | Dr. Campbell St. Neal | Upper RM 200
13:00 – 14:00 Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday | Writing 1 | Codie Wallis |Upper RM 108
13:00 -14:00 Wednesday | Science Behind Alchemy | Sloan Night | R RM 19
14:15 – 15:30 Tuesday – Thursday | Pre-Calculus | Stacy Frost | Upper RM 120
“Can I see?” Indigo asked.
“Uh… sure,” Rowan replied, handing their phone over.
“Merveilleux, they took you out of my Magical Ethics classes.”
“…Yeah, my bad,” they remarked, rubbing the back of their neck, “To be fair I only saw your name, and got all the letters and numbers confused.”
Indigo chuckled, “Biology 130? Rowan, yo—”
“I know what I did,” they replied, interrupting her, “I haven’t been in a classroom for the last 2 and a half years, I need to get back into the groove.”
“…. You don’t wanna do it, do you?”
“Ah, uh,” Rowan sighed, rubbing the back of their neck again with their eyes closed and head tilted to the side, “Kind of… I was looking forward to attending college, but the closer the first day gets… I realized that I don’t want to push myself to exhaustion just to get good grades, especially if I can do it without trying.”
The mage’s face changed into a concerned expression, “That’s not the only reason… Is it?”
Rowan nodded, “The college’s atmosphere makes me feel uneasy, too. I signed up for some of the easier classes for me because I don’t know how being in that atmosphere is going to be, so I don’t want to have to worry about difficult exams, while being uncomfortable,” they explained.
“Believe me Rowan, I understand,” Indigo commented.
It doesn’t feel right telling Indigo’s half-truths. But something is going on at that college, and it is swirling around Rowan, their aura, and it’s linked to their dead mother that they can’t even really remember! They don’t want to worry about difficult coursework while possibly figuring out what the hell is going on.
“Why do I only have your class once a week?” they asked, changing the subject slightly.
Indigo hummed, as she took her tasting spoon from her mouth, “I teach four different types of classes, and I am allowed to schedule them how I see fit. My history class is on Mondays, my Philosophy classes are on Tuesday, I assist a few colleagues in teaching magical training classes on alternating Wednesdays, and I teach my advice classes on Thursday,” she answered.
Rowan nodded along, hearing the front door open when Indigo finished speaking, symbolizing that Calvin was home. His entering the kitchen/dining room led to a quiet night, like most nights since Rowan had settled in. Calvin explained to them before they turned in that they might be walking to school alone tomorrow.
“I have to be in the infirmary by 6 and Indigo’s doesn’t have to be at the college till a little before 10,” Calvin answered, when they asked how come.
“I’ll have Hecate walk with you,” Indigo remarked, as she walked past their room on her way to hers.
“Okay, no problem,” Rowan replied.
Calvin flashed them one of his signature smiles, before bidding them goodnight.
This left Rowan tossing and turning to themself, while in their bed. “Well, this one is new,” they sighed, staring at the ceiling after an hour of tossing and turning, “I’ve never been this anxious to go to school before.”
Rowan let out another long sigh before the quiet ding of their phone caught their attention. If they couldn’t sleep, what would it hurt to just check?
“Elias,” they muttered, it was only him, not their little group.
Elias: Sorry to bother you so late, but I was wondering what classes you have this semester.
Then there was another one: sorry if that’s weird, given that we don’t know each other that well.
Rowan found themself smiling, sending a screenshot of their schedule to the young photographer.
Earning them a quick response, Cool, we have Biology 130 and Magic History together. I’ve heard that the biology professor is a bit of a hard ass.
Rowan replied, It can’t be that bad it’s just bio.
Well, we can already tell who I am studying with if you are that confident.
You are acting like it is hard.
It is! I am a man of art and design, not of science and math.
That’s why we don’t have math together.
Man, you are taking pre-cal!
Yeah, your point?
😱I would die
Rowan chuckled, before Elias also added, sorry for texting so late.
It’s not a big deal.
Night
Night
Somehow this little exchange gave them a sense of calm, allowing them a fast passage to dreamland. Being visited by soft cloudy dreams during the night, before being awoken in the morning by the obnoxious phone alarm sounds. Rowan groaned, stretched, then got up after checking the time, 5:33 am.
That gave them enough time to eat, shower, journal, and maybe even sit alone with their thoughts, then leave. Probably not in that order but there is enough time to do so.
Shuffling from their room to the kitchen, they saw Calvin teacup within his large hands, and of course, Hecate with her breakfast of wet cat food, “Morning,” they muttered.
“Good morning,” he responded before leaving the teacup on its little plate.
Rowan’s choice of breakfast in the Bookstone-Corals’ home is a simple toast with grapefruit marmalade and their favorite honey tea. Enough to fill their tiny little body, for a while!
“Have a good first day, Rowan,” Calvin called.
“Have a nice day,” they called back as they heard him leave.
With their breakfast ready to eat they took it to their room, sat down at their little desk, and cracked open their journal. They wrote down their thoughts and feelings, then filled out a few wellnesses charts they made for themself, before opening another notebook and doodling for a bit to curb any lasting anxieties about their first day.
“I need to get ready,” they muttered softly, staring at the empty mug.
After a quick shower they braided the long pieces of their white & pink hair, brushed their teeth, washed their face, and finally donned their uniform. The garnet pants, which were paired with the chocolate brown undershirt and a khaki sweater.
“At least it’s not like the crap uniforms from grade school,” they commented, checking themself out in the mirror, “We all looked like sailors, and not in a good way.”
They went to pack all of their new school supplies in their school satchel, placed their bag on their shoulder all before facing their bedroom door. Hecate sat in the doorway, with her pretty collar with a lovely little bow.
“Lead the way!” Rowan remarked as they followed Hecate out of their room and towards the front door, greeted with the cold air of the February sky as they left.
With the sun taking its perch in the sky as the sound of frost coated patches crunching under their boots filled Rowan’s ears, reminding them to get headphones when they got the chance… Maybe Indigo or Calvin had a pair they could borrow. It would be really nice to listen to music and look at the lush scenery around them on their walk to school.
When they got to campus it was surprisingly full, for it being almost eight. They continued to follow the magic cat up to one of the upper levels and making it to room 105, Hecate stopped by the open door, waiting for Rowan to enter.
“Thank you,” they conveyed, squatting down, as Hecate licked at her paw not paying them attention. “Hey!” Rowan poked the top of her head grabbing the cat’s attention before patting her every tenderly, “Tell Indigo you want something nice, k?”
Hecate smiled, or Rowan assumed that she smiled as they walked into the classroom. The classroom seemed to only have a few people in it, mostly keeping to themselves on opposite sides of the room, but there in the center there was white-haired teen in the front row messing with his phone. Rowan decided to get confident and sit right next to him.
“Hi,” they said, sitting down, startling the aspiring dressmaker.
“…H-hey,” Elias stuttered out, before shaking the shock out of his face, “Hey, sorry for last night.”
“Don’t worry about it, I couldn’t sleep anyway,” Rowan waved it off, “Us talking actually calmed me down enough to where I could fall asleep.”
Elias smiled, “I’m glad I could help then,” he stated, “I apologize for nothing!”
His smile was warm, and as he continued to talk, his voice was soft. A warm blanket of sorts, which put Rowan at ease… really his voice made them want to take a nap.
“Did you decide to join any clubs?” Elias asked within their peaceful conversation.
“Nah,” Rowan answered, “I’ve never been much of a group activities person. I’d rather enjoy a hobby in my own space. Although the insect research club looked cool.”
“What do you like to do?”
“Write mostly, play video games from time to time, and of course I like reading and literature,” they explained, “You like fashion and photography, right?”
“Yeah, I really got into making clothes over the break. I actually made suits for my brother and I,” Elias articulated, “And I mostly do photography to take pictures of people and their clothes… with permission of course.”
Rowan chuckled at his ending comment, before jumping at the sound of the classroom door sharply shouting loudly. There was a light slapping sound that filled the silent, yet full, room, everyone looked towards the individual that shut the door. They all found white tentacles poking out of a brown skirt, attached to the body of a fair skinned person with deep red hair done up buns, and stern facial expression.
“Morning,” they declared, their voice sounding extremely genderless, with a firm tone. They settled behind the lab table in the front of the classroom, “I’m your professor, Percival Kozlowski. You may call me Professor Kozlowski, Percy, or Professor Percy. Never Percival, please and thank you.”
She was a young professor, much like Indigo in that regard.
They stood before Rowan, scanning the room taking stock of the student before her, “This is bio-130, the easiest science class you will ever take. You all are either incurably unskilled when it comes to the sciences or taking this class to get an easy A,” Percy explained, with a slight Polish accent coming through, before turning to the whiteboard behind them after making such a rude remark, “Whichever it may be I don’t care, I am here to teach, and that’s what I intend to do.”
She wrote a title on the board before turning back around, “If you see yourself as a class clown or wish to act a fool, leave now. I have no time for children. If I wanted to spend time with distrusting juveniles I would work at a daycare.”
She pointed at what she had just written on the board, “This is the textbook you will need; you may get it at the bookstore in town. The last time I checked it was around 10 Euros. If you are unable to get the book for any reason, come to me and I will make sure you have it by next week. I will need to know by this Wednesday though, if you are unable to get the textbook on your own.”
Percy placed the stack of papers they came in with in front of her on the lab table, “Please come get your syllabus,” the students slowly moved to the front to get their papers, “Make sure they are for Biology 130.”
“I’ll grab you one,” Elias offered as he stood from his seat, as Rowan wrote the textbook title in a notebook.
“Thanks.”
“Today, I will be going over the syllabus. On Wednesday, we’ll actually begin class,” Percy explained, “You will be given tri-weekly assignments, your first exam will be in 2 weeks. Now let’s begin—"
Percy began going over the class syllabus taking up most of the hour slotted for the class, before dismissing a few minutes early.
“I will be asking you for help this semester,” Elias sighed, looking over the syllabus, more specifically the schedule of the topics they will be covering.
Rowan thought for a moment, “I look forward to it,” they remarked. That was quite out of character for Rowan, they weren’t fond of helping the kids at Oceanside with classwork. Maybe it was their longing to just hear Elias speak more.
They both exited the classroom and into the college hallway which was slowly filling with students. “I gotta get downstairs, I’ve got that alchemy philosophy class with Sloan,” Elias muttered, with a sigh.
“You don’t sound happy about it.”
“Well… I’m excited for the class, don’t get me wrong. But I have it with Nemo,” he replied, “I know he’s working incredibly hard training to be an alchemist; I don’t want my presence to mess anything up.”
“Why would it?” Rowan asked, looking over at him as they walked towards the stairs.
“We…” Elias paused, as they got to the staircase, “we just don’t get along at the best of times.”
His pause mixed with his vague response made them even more curious, although their politeness had them keep their mouth shut rather than asking him a bunch more questions.
“I’ll see you in magic history,” Elias commented as he started down the stairs. “Have fun in European lit! I heard Professor Kim was a funny guy.”
“See you later.”
They traveled to room 135 taking a seat in the middle row, sitting close to the wall, where they were always most comfortable.
Elias was right, the professor was quite funny and friendly, a complete one eighty from the professor they had just had.
Rowan became excited when being handed the syllabus and seeing the short stories and few books they would get to read, during the 10 weeks they would be in the literature class.
Granted there weren’t going to be papers or exams, but there would be a class discussion over the reading materials, which would happen in class and would be an exam grade, so they would have to participate to get a grade.
After European Literature, Rowan made their way downstairs to Indigo’s classroom.
The hallways are basically empty, given that their previous professor let them out maybe 15 minutes early. The mage professor’s classroom is large like the others they had been in, although it was quite empty.
“Bonjour, Rowan,” Indigo muttered, her head down, more specifically buried in a thick binder filled with a ton of papers.
“How did you know it was me?” Rowan asked.
They watched her smile, “I just do,” she remarked, “How are you this morning?”
“Better than I thought I’d be,” Rowan answered, sitting in the front row seats in the classroom, “I have to go to the bookstore in town after school, is that okay?”
Indigo nodded, “Just be home before 18:00, please. Are you going with anyone?”
“I hadn’t planned on it, but knowing what little I know about Georgia…”
“She might tag along,” Indigo finished with a smile.
“Yeah,” Rowan chuckled awkwardly with a smile across their lips.
“Good morning, Professor Bookstone,” the Georgian seer greeted Indigo cheerfully as she entered the classroom. She watched her steps as she descended the small staircase from the door to the classroom floor.
“Bonjour, Georgia,” Indigo replied, standing up from her desk and getting her whiteboard and projector ready for class.
“Good morning, Rowan,” Georgia sang, sitting her bag down in the seat to the right of Rowan.
The desks in this classroom were long and resembled pews, “How has your first day been?”
“Good actually,” Rowan answered in surprise.
“Hello again,” Elias remarked, walking over to sit on the other side of Rowan.
“Hi,” they said a bit shyly.
The three of them spent the next few minutes talking about nothing in particular before Indigo cleared her throat, a sign that her class was to begin.
“We don’t have a lot of time, but that’s mostly my fault. With that being said we are going to get started with the basics,” she began, standing at her desk looking through her thick binder.
“I am Indigo Bookstone- Corals. I am sure you have heard many things about me, so call me whatever you like. For this class there is no textbook, my class is my own, but most of the textbooks I use can be referenced from the school’s library if you doubt my sources. Burgundy Projector, the website contracted through the school, is where you can look at your classes and grades. My PowerPoints and the class syllabus are posted if you need reference or assistance when studying. I highly suggest that if you won’t draft papers, drop this class, and leave now.”
She paused to scan the room; it seemed a few people were squirming in their seats as they debated on whether they should leave.
She was firmer than she was in private Rowan realized, clearly not putting up with nonsense, though she was a comfortable and a confident speaker as she is animated while speaking.
“I have made this class fairly simple, given my skill as an educator, you have no tedious assignments for a low point grade. You have no exams, not even final exams. The act of forcibly remembering material just to recite it once isn’t good enough for me. You have two papers that will act as midterm and final. You have access to the criteria for each paper from Burgundy Projector. You can start on them as early or as late as you like and do them in whatever order you choose. Although you cannot turn them in until the due dates, which are also online.”
After pausing for a moment to breathe, she continued to explain, “I only ask three things from you while you are in this class: show up, participate at least twice, and turn in your papers. I want you to be in this class not because you have to be, or because you have to learn, but because you want to learn and be here. You all are allowed to make your own schedules for a reason. If the history or the realm of magic are not of any interest to you, I don’t know why you are here. And if you are not going to show up and participate in this quite simple class just because you don’t want to sit here for over an hour then my door is wide open for you to take your leave.”
A few students got up to leave, as a student in the middle of the seat raised her hand.
“Yes?”
“What if there is something wrong, a family emergency, or really anything like that?”
“If there is something that is keeping you from coming to class for whatever reason just send me an email. Tell me you will not be able to make it, and I will understand. I don’t need a big explanation,” Indigo answered as a few students settled back in their seats, “I’m not a monster. I understand if there is something keeping you from attending my class, whatever that may be.”
There is a moment of silence, “Any other questions?”
“Are you actually a mage?” a teen asked from the back of the room.
“Yes, I believe I classify as an archmage.”
“Prove it!”
Indigo cut her eyes to the side from the source of the taunt, “This seems like a perfect place to start class then,” she remarked, before sitting a bottle of water at the edge of her desk, “We all know the basic states of matter, solid, liquid, and gas, correct?”
There were some nods, “Even with just the core basics of magic, such as water, plant, air, and light, I can control something as simple as this bottle of water,” she continued, taking two fingers, and moving then in the air taking the water out of the bottle and moving it in the air slowly.
“Mages can not only affect change in material conditions like alchemists do, but also present the illusion of change. I can take this water, a freeze it,” the water froze in midair, “I can then make it evaporate,” the ice melted quickly changing from ice to nothing, “then I can the water in the air and turn it back into pure water,” the water is then back in the bottle, “and return it to the bottle.”
Even though it was small, the act of performing magic in such a fast fashion and with ease is quite impressive.
“Wow,” Rowan muttered quietly.
“I know right!” Georgia mused, a giddiness to her voice, “Magic is so cool!”
“I could light a fire if I so choose, without natural elements. I can keep a mixed bouquet of flowers alive even when they all need different growth conditions. I can change the course of the wind around me as I wish, amongst a long list of over things.” Indigo explained.
“Some mages can even change the condition of their own body. Mages and more so magic can be documented back to the ancient times, to the first Fae that we know of. They were deeply devoted to worship, but more so devoted to the planet itself, finding that the land gave back kindly to those who treated her kindly.”
Everyone was hanging on her every word, before she clasped her hands together, “If you enjoy taking notes, I suggest taking out some paper and a pen, so we can actually get started.”
Her class felt shorter than it actually was, Indigo really had the whole classroom full of students held captive with her way of speaking and the way she was engrossed in the topic of history.
Calvin’s entering the room seemed to be a signal that class was over. Indigo smiled at him before he sat down at her desk.
“That’s enough for today,” Indigo remarked as she checked her watch, “I will see you all next Monday.”
“Do you have any plans before your next class, Rowan?” Georgia asked, packing up her things.
“My next class isn’t until 13:00, so not really,” Rowan answered, doing the same.
“Why don’t you join us for lunch?” Elias offered as the three of them left Indigo’s classroom.
“Sure,” Rowan accepted with a smile.
Indigo smiled as she overheard their conversation as they left the classroom, before looking at her husband, “They’re making friends,” she cooed.
“I see that,” Calvin replied, with a smile.
“How much time do you have for lunch?” she asked.
“The next hour and a half,” he answered, “I’m here to spend it with you.”
“Merveilleux,” Indigo sighed.

Mattheo Riddle x Reader (Female)
Summery: Reader has a fight with Mattheo and avoids/ignores him for a week. When Mattheo finally finds her alone to apologise will she forgive and forget or will she not make this easy for him.
A/n: Fluff, Tiny little bit of angst? Use of y/n, kind of a short story, sorry if it’s not the best this is my first story/post 😅
════ ⋆★⋆ ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ ⋆★⋆ ═══
A week. A week I’ve been avoiding Mattheo.
“You’re going to have to speak to him at some point y’know?”
“Yeah, I know, but that’s not the point.”
A few days ago on Tuesday, Mattheo and I were out with our friend group and as we were browsing through Zonko’s joke shop. I was joking around with Pansy and Astoria when I overheard Mattheo talking- no, FLIRTING with this girls from Hufflepuff. When I went to speak to him about it later that evening while he was lying in my bed, we got into an argument over how he claims it ‘wasn’t that big of a deal’!
“Well what is the point? Just kiss and make up like you always do, you know he didn’t mean it, we’ve all been stressed recently about our OWL’s.”
At this point in time Pansy is trying to convince me to forgive Mattheo so we can go on this double date she’s been planning.
“The point is that until he apologises I’m not going to speak to him. If he thinks it’s ok to flirt with other women while his in a relationship, he better wake up and smell the roses because that’s not the case.”
I huff as Pansy reaches into her bag of chips making a crinkly noise. I place my hands on the side of my head and re-read the sentence of my text book.
“Well don’t you think you should calm it down on the studying a bit? I mean, you never really study outside of class for anything so why are you so pressed about mid year exams? You should really take a break.”
I sigh. Pansy’s right. I never study outside of class. But I really want to become an auror and to do that I need to have phenomenal OWL results.
“Ughhhhhh!”
I chuck my pencil down at my at my book and lean back in my chair.
“Your right… but I really have to have good grades to become and auror and you know how bad I am with studying. I can never sit and focus on anything.”
“Yeah but with the amount of pressure you’ve been putting on yourself there’s no way you wasted the time you studied, right?”
“No, of course not.”
“Well then relax a bit! You’ve already obtained a lot of knowledge now calm it down, take a break.”
I turn my head to look at Pansy as she gives me a knowing look.
“Fineeeee. What do you want to do?”
“Well I was thinking me and you head to the common room to look for a certain someone for you to make up with? And then we can go on our date tomorrow?”
I stand up.
“Pansy no! You don’t get it! You want us to make up and your pestering me about it when he should be the one making it up to me! Look. I know you and Blaise have a really good relationship, but, I don’t want to have to put up and let Mattheo flirting with other girls slide.”
When look down at her she looks taken aback.
“Look I’m sorry ok? I… I just need some fresh air.”
I rush out of our shared dorm and headed straight for the Astronomy tower. My comfort place.
***
As I reached the top of the stairs I instantly regretted my outfit choice as I was in leggings and a thin, baggy t-shirt, not fit for the autumn wind. But still, I went to the edge of the tower and leaned against the railing, watching as the light of the sunset slowly peak through the clouds.
***
It’s late now. The sunset has almost gone down and I’m still freezing my ass off in this cold wind. Maybe I should go back and get a jumper? Just then I feel some warm arms enclose around my waist, pulling me back a bit into a warm rock hard chest and in the corner of my eye I see some dark brown curly hair and know it’s Mattheo. Still mad, I look back to the almost gone sunset, while Mattheo rests his head in the crook of my neck.
I refuse to say anything. He has royally pissed me off this boy and I’m not going to forgive him very easily.
“Darling…” Mattheo whispers in my ear, brushing my hair over my shoulder and kissing my neck very softly and gentle.
Woah…
I shuffle on my spot, shrugging my shoulders to get him off of me. I’m not allowing myself to fall for his little charm tricks yet.
“Oh come on, princess.”
He groans and grabs my forearm, spinning me around and nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck. He kisses up and down all over my neck.
“Mattheo— stop.”
I say annoyed. He hasn’t even tried to apologise yet.
“Darling— y/n, look. Look at me… please?”
I look up at him in the eyes, the last bits of light from the final moments of sunlight reflecting off them.
“I’m sorry I upset you. I didn’t mean to upset you, I know there is no excuse for what you heard but I wasn’t trying to flirt with them. I was just trying to buy something and those girls happened to have one left.”
“So you flirt with them so you can what? Get the last pack of flavoured jellybeans? Fizzing Wizbees?”
“What? Darling no. I would never that. I was buying something off them.”
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small white box with a pink ribbon wrapped around it. He grabbed my hand gently and placed the small box in my palm. I looked up at him confused.
“Just open it.”
I looked at him suspiciously but then undo the ribbon. Inside was a beautiful ring. The ring was silver with a silver snake wrapping around a gem stone, the colour of my eyes, placed in the middle of the ring. And at the bottom of the white box was a small note that said: Custom made by Ella Johnson and Sadie Smith xx
…Oh…
“Im— Im so sorry, I—”
“Darling you have nothing to apologise for. I’m sorry for arguing with you about it. I should have told you.”
He said as his pulled me in closer by the back of my head and placed a soft kiss on my forehead. I hug him back and sob. I feel like a terrible girlfriend. Mattheo pulled back and took the ring. He then took my hand a slid it onto my finger.
“I love you so much y/n, you have no idea.”
“I love you too Mattheo.”
We both spun around and looked out on the grounds. The suns head just about to go down. As we watched the sunset together until it was dark, Mattheo wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.
“How about my dorm? Maybe we can still go on that double date tomorrow? If you’re up for it?
“Of course.”

PLEASE FRATBOY!RAFE WOULD THROW A PARTY EVERY WEEKEND JUST SO YOU COULD COME TO THEM. AND DO BODY SHOTS WITH HIM BC HE HAS THE HOTS FOR YOU
outer banks masterlist
you do not have my permission to repost my fics! these are MINE and mine only! :) you can reblog! every reblog is appreciated!
--
"rafe cameron is throwing another party this weekend, are you going to go?" your roommate asked and slapped your butt as she walked by. you rolled your eyes and adjusted your body as you laid on your stomach, textbook below your face.
"why would i go, again? it's the same every time. you get drunk and i have to take care of you, all while trying to scope out places to run if the cops show. no thank you" you scoff and jess pulls her shirt over her head, pulling her hair out of the material.
"uhm, maybe because rafe cameron is crushing on you?" she answers more as a question and you look at her, slamming your book closed as she jumps her eyebrows, rolling her lips in between her teeth. "have i said too much?"
"he is not.. crushing on me. a guy like that doesn't crush on anyone, especially me" you cross your arms and she pulled on her jeans, sitting on the edge of her bed. "what gave you the impression that he likes me?"
"he's always asking about you when you don't show up to a party. i'm pretty sure he throws these parties just so you'll show up" she pulled on her converse, and you laughed.
"okay, now you're just telling me the plot of 'the great gatsby.' jess, rafe cameron is not crushing on me" you deny and she gets up, standing in front of you.
"alright, then come to the party tonight and ask him for yourself. because if you don't go, i know you'll be thinking about it all night" jess looked into your eyes, and you rolled yours.
"alright, fine! i'll go!" she cheered silently to herself, and you stood up with your pointer finger at her. "but if the cops show, i'm leaving your ass there"
-
you held onto jess's arm as you two walked in the loud, crowded house. your eyes scanned the room, and the one person you were looking for popped out of no where, spooking both you and jess.
"hi jess. hey.. hey yn, haven't seen you around lately, you didn't drop out did you?" rafe handed you a cup, and jess slowly removed herself and you didn’t even notice.
"definitely not, i've been studying. we have a psych exam on tuesday, have you been studying?" you ask with a small smile and take a sip from your cup, rafe smiling and running his tongue over his bottom lip.
"would you believe me if i said yes?" you shook your head, and the both of you laugh. "i guess you'll have to come over and study with me then" he winked and you felt your stomach fill with butterflies. kelce came over and clapped rafe on his shoulder with a drunken smile.
"body shots are happening. 2 girls from one of our classes were asking for you" your eyes fell to the floor, biting the red solo cup in a hint of jealousy. rafe looked at you, grabbing your hand and you looked up at him.
"i don't need them" he took you over to the table, and your eye widened as rafe put you on top of the black marbled table. the coolness of the table and rafe's hands pushing your shirt up a bit to expose your stomach made goosebumps rise on your skin. "do you trust me?" you nod, rafe keeping his eyes locked with yours as he pushed you onto the table.
rafe's thumb rubbed circles into your hip as he poured tequila in your belly button, a line of salt on your stomach and a lime in your mouth. your fingers picked at your jeans, and you gave rafe a thumbs up.
rafe drank the alcohol out of your belly button and you giggle, gripping his hair. he licked the salt slowly, and your fingers gripped his hair. rafe's eyes met yours as he bit the lime, and your fingers trailed down his face as you took the lime out from his mouth and kissed him.
the room seemed to quiet down as your lips moved against his. rafe's hand pushed your shirt down, pulling you off the table and holding you close to his body as he kissed you like he wanted to ever since he saw you.
you pulled away slowly, opening your eyes and looking at rafe. you smile, gripping his shirt in your hands. "rafe.. tell me the truth. is it true that you have a crush on me like my roommate is telling me?"
"your rumor is a blabbermouth, and also tells the truth" you both laugh and you lean up again, kissing him again. a new wave of confidence hit you after he did that body shot, and you couldn't keep your hands and mouth off of rafe the whole night.
you were thankful that jess told you about rafe, and you were happy you trusted your gut.

Late Night HCs
Bucci Gang Edition
TW: nothing too extreme, just a little bit of hurt/comfort stuff sprinkled right here and there.
Bruno Bucciarati
► Bucciarati typically doesn't stay up late at night, he has work and would squeeze all the amount of sleep he can get on his free time.
► Unless he has a lot of things in mind.
► It doesn't matter whether it's a work-related problem, his past, a random thought, or just generally his worries about his future. It will keep him up.
► He'll definitely need someone to be an outlet but if no one's available, he'll just stare at the night sky and distract himself with the moving clouds or finish some of his work until he's too tired to think of anything.
► If you happen to be in the same situation and same place that night though, then make sure that you take care of the trust he has for you when he was at most vulnerable and he will do same with you.
► I personally headcannon Bucciarati to be the type to like those kind of conversations since i highly doubt that he has been so vulnerable in front of anyone besides Abbachio ever since he joined the mafia.
► And even then, he's mostly the one who lifts the spirits up and not the other way around since he's the leader.
► So expect to hear things and words you wouldn't expect to come from the Bucciarati you see everyday come spilling out of his mouth, it'll be a lot.
► Pat his back or better yet, give him a hug and brush his hair while doing so. He needs it a lot since he hasn't really got one after his family fell apart.
► "I feel so much better now, thank you. I'll make sure not to forget about this night. "
Leone Abbachio
► The night owl of the gang.
► Staying up until 3AM is nothing new to this man, hell, he could even go on a whole day without sleep if he has a lot of things that's bothering him.
► He's the opposite of Bucciarati, he prefers to shoulder his intrusive thoughts alone. It'd take some great amount of effort and trust to make him talk and let it out.
► What he does during those times is either using his stand to replay certain memories that could either worsen his guilt or put him at ease, or just drink until he passes out but most of the time, he does both.
► He could also be listening to some music while he does so but if he's feeling guilty for making Bucciarati concerned about his frequent drinking, then he'll just listen to music and hope that he'll fall asleep and not just keep his eyes closed until the sun rises.
► It works, kind of, but even without alcohol driving him to sleep, he'll always be tired. His sleeping schedule is seriously messed up because he never really cared about it in the first place.
► Would sometimes go out for a walk. Leone is fond of the city's peacefulness when everyone is asleep, with the only thing keeping him accompany is the cold air and the dim light of the lampposts.
► Secretly still has his police uniform and would occasionally take it out just to stare at it or talk to it in a not-so-kind of way as he sees his younger self in it.
► Gets dragged in whatever shit Narancia and the others are up to if he gets spotted. Mostly it's just for a movie night behind Bucciarati's back but Abbachio knows better and expects the unexpected when it comes to the gang.
► Knows what everyone does in late night if they're still up and has seen a lot of ungodly sights.
► Whether it be seeing a sleepy Mista and the pistols chanting a weird prayer to a bowl of cereals or Fugo being dragged out of his room by Narancia, Leone knows it.
Pannacotta Fugo
► Just like Bucciarati, Fugo rarely stays up late at night and if he does, it's usually just because he's busy.
► Fugo has hobbies like painting and reading, everyone in the gang knows that. It's just that he gets carried way too far sometimes and loses track of time.
► Who could blame him though when the book he's reading is just too interesting or the painting he's currently working on is almost done, right?
► On extremely rare occasions where something unpleasant enough to keep Fugo up at night happens, he'll bundle himself in his fluffy blanket like a butterfly in its cocoon.
► He always does this back when he's still living with his parents, it makes him feel safe from anything that's haunting him.
► And if it's neither his hobbies or problems that's keeping him up, he'll just hear Narancia whispering outside his door or Mista throwing pebbles at his window.
► For the first few times the duo did this, Fugo was still able to resist until he just can't anymore knowing that they wouldn't leave him alone all night.
► "Well, this isn't so bad. "
► He says as he enthusiastically tosses a popcorn into his mouth with his eyes glued all over the lit screen of the TV.
► Movie nights, along with sneaking out to go the nearest convenience store, became a common thing between the Torture Dance Trio™ ever since then.
Narancia Ghirga
► The type to wake up in the middle of the night and think "Hmm... Everyone's asleep, let's commit robbery tonight!"
► Fugo's sleep paralysis demon.
► Would literally not hesitate to steal chocolate bars with Mista and probably does 3AM challenges with him too.
► Never runs out of ideas to keep himself up at night and is the one who comes up with everything but what he does still depends on his mood.
► If Narancia's feeling a little too lazy then he'll just sleep and most of the time, with music keeping him accompany. But unlike Abbachio, he purposely doesn't wear headphones just to annoy Fugo whose room is right next to his.
► If he's feeling like it, he'll straight up just invite the others to watch a movie or play videogames even though Bruno has already made it clear not to use the TV after 11PM.
► But just as he likes staying up at night doing crazy things with the boys, he also uses his energy left and free time to self-study, as surprising that may sound.
► He may hate reading but he takes advantage of the fact that his brain is much active at night and he doesn't want to depend on Fugo too much. After all, he dreams on going back to school and he's more than willing to be capable enough to do so alone and pass without the other teen's help.
► Will cuddle anything that's near him while he studies but if you give him a plushie, it'll be instantly his favorite and he would definitely use it as a study buddy.
Guido Mista
► Alright, let's be honest here, this dude wouldn't even stay up if it weren't for his bros.
► 5 seconds lying on the bed and he's already knocked out for a good 10 hours if there's no work he has to do for the day. Make it 8 at weekdays thanks to his mafia-related responsibilities.
► He sleeps like a log so only a combination of shaking him up awake with Fugo and Narancia can make him rise from what seems like a two year coma but is really just a normal tuesday night.
► Will pretty much join Narancia at anything he does but since his last three brain cells are obviously still as half asleep as him, he won't be able to remember that much the next day.
► And once he's out of the room and is already sitting on the couch with the guys, Mista's the type to fall asleep halfway through the movie.
► You can't blame him though, it's 12AM and it seems that Fugo got to choose what movie they'll watch since Narancia already got to choose the other night.
► Unless they're playing videogames or are going out then he won't be acting like a slow ass PVZ zombie with a fried brain. Actually, he'll be hella active if that's the case.
► Active at grabbing every snack each second, that is.
► Actually, it's the pistols who does that but oh well, it's not like Mista's innocent too.
► "I swear it's not me who ate all of our groceries for this month! Right, guys?! It's the pistols! "
► And that, everyone, is how Guido blew their little rendezvous without even trying.
Giorno Giovanna
► There's not much to be said about this boy since just like Mista, Giorno goes to bed early as he makes sure he still gets the proper amount of sleep.
► He already has a lot of things to deal with at day so of course, by the end of it, he'll be exhausted.
► Nights before exams are excluded because although he may seem like he skips class sometimes, Giorno still knows his priorities.
► Only when he became the head of the mafia did he really started to lose sleep as great power comes with great responsibilities.
► It took a LONG time for Giorno to adjust to a lot of things cause come on, he maybe resilient but he's still a 15 year old teen.
► Not only does he have towers after towers of work but i like to imagine that he still continued his education and used some of the things he learns in class in the mafia, specifically in classes like history or geography class since as a boss, he has to know every nook and cranny of Italy.
► Not to mention that emergencies happen and he always has to be ready to give out orders, even if it means being woken up at 1AM.
► God, help this child because all the things mentioned above are just an understatement of what happens on the first few months of being in charge of Passione.
► "So this is why Diavolo looks like he's about to explode whenever something goes wrong huh. "
