Perhaps everything that he had endured had made him a bit too suspicious. Trails of blood were never a welcome sight even if whatever had unfolded eluded him he followed it at the end of it....what was his name again? Had they even met before or did he seem familiar as a face in a file in a stack quickly read and then not opened again like so many in the Institute. “Growl at me again and I might just decide putting you out of your misery is the kind thing to do-” Jace warned not putting it past the hybrid to be hostile by default. Jace’s prejudice did run deep but he wasn’t one to attack first specially when his opponent was already grievously injured.
“Are they around-?” he inquired fingers curling around the hilt of his blade in case the assailants were not too far. “Am I gonna regret trying to save your life?”

“You’re gonna get my ass killed-”
Heterochromic eyes stared unblinking at the Hybrid but she looked confident. Strong. It was his duty to protect her but there was nothing wrong with her doing it for herself...right? “Fine I’ll watch your back, what’s your play” Jace inquired for they needed a plan if they were to escape with both their lives and all limbs intact.

@naive-petals said: Nodding her head in response Violets head fell trying her best not to cry as thoughts of the nightmares that plagued her replayed in her head. “I never got to meet my mother, she died giving birth. I’m afraid.” Afraid she blamed her own daughter? that she was unwanted? “Is there any way to know how her soul was?”
Ah. She saw. A child who grew up without a mother. It was a simple request really. One that she could easily answer but...she didn't want to get this child's hopes up. She wanted to be sure. " young one. Tell me do you know her name?"

" know this. Once you leave here. No matter where your meant to go you belong down here in my domain. No soul can leave for long after they have came to kur "
Ereshkigal pulled her hood down. In her domain she doesn't need a host yet and hiding her face was for her own satisfaction. Did she accept his call?
He was a man who felt no remorse for his deads. He had no problem with his actions but for a human he was odd. Doing this simply because it's his job? She could sympathize only barely. Life was definitely odd, it seems that she wouldn't just fade know would she.
How long had it been since Nergal came down to her? Since a warrior with no fear march down her corridors and look her in the eyes. How she loved those days, they looked upon her and faced her for they accepted their death and faced her like she was another part of their long journey.
She paused before nodding to herself.
Yes.
One last time.
Ereshkigal stood before the golden-haired master her own locks moved slowly in the dry air. Her red eyes looked into his own.
Death had an odd relationship with war, didn't it?
" What is your name. If I am to serve as your servant in this war I would like to know the name of the man I shall fight for till your time has come. "

Death and war

Irkalla the goddess of Kur, the land of the dead or as most people would call it the underworld wasn’t happy ,not. one. bit. She had gone by many names, ershkigal was just her more traditional name. Another was the lady of the great earth. And that’s where the were. In her domain, she had pulled him into her home once she felt the summons. Her cages were in their normal place all-around while the flowers grew slowly. She was glad for once how menacing her home looked with the fake night sky above shining brightly.
She didn’t know how but there was an attempted summoning for grail war. How she hated those, many souls were lost for a simple wish, she couldn’t and wouldn’t fault them a wish, for a human means more since it’s no longer the age of gods and they couldn’t perform mericals.
“Tell me human why I should let you live after your summoning attempt? ”
She didn’t understand why she didn’t kill him and be done with it. She should have. His soul told her everything. She knew he wasn’t a good or a noble man. His monsters deads clung to him enveloping his soul. But…. If…he summoned her…she could see the outside world. How she longed to see the change. How she wished to feel a cool breeze on her cheeks even if it’s temporary. It was a selfish thought but she longed to see real stars.
“You do understand no one willingly seeks me out. ”
[ Indeed, why should she let him live? ]
[ Reinhard had no love for supernatural things for he didn’t believe them in the first place, but with an irrefutable proof which had appeared before his eyes, the SS officer had little choice than to accept for the lack of a better wording: Sheer ridiculousness. He was to summon a being from a long distant past using a relic which these occult-obsessed men and women had peddled over into Germany and conduct a war upon their very soil to bring forth a grail to ensure victory to them. The plan and the idea itself was nonsensical, if not, downright idiot to bring forth another war in a war that they were already losing. ]
[ However, his duty was to ask questions only when necessary, and follow the orders as they’d dictated. Such was the life of Reinhard Tristan Eugen Heydrich. For their orders, he’d stepped on and murdered many, butchered an entire country like a pig, thinned down what many called the ‘pests’ and ‘sub-humans’, but for all things he did, not single one sparked any form of emotion within him. Nothing in the world did. Therefore, he would live and die as such, he’d long since come to terms that this world was, indeed, his limit. ]
[ Then a being which stood before him broke all that he knew and commonly defined as ‘common sense’. ]
[ So for all the things he did, why SHOULD she let him live? ]
“You do understand no one willingly seeks me out. ”
“No, not without a purpose, at least.” [ The golden-haired male added, ] “It matters not whether I live, or die after this summoning event. If you kill me, then this is how I will die - as a mortal. If I live, then I carry out the mission that was given to me by the fuhrer without question. Of course, to a being such as yourself - a man like me is actually hardly of any consequence whether you let me kill me or not. Ultimately, choosing to be contracted under me, or no is up to your discretion, but I assume since you’ve answered my call, you’ve willingly accepted my conditions, am I right?”

" No! I can't be dead! Not again! Please tell me it's a joke . " For Ereshkgail
Ereshkigal looked down at the new arival with a sad gaze. She had received a soul that was in denial over being dead again. She sighed softly before nodding "I'm afraid so "

(For Erash) Ron rubbed the back of his head. That was a hell of a fall. Not sure why that happened, but he worry about it later. He looked around. "Rin, are you ok?"
Ron would soon notice that he was laying on a bed of yellow flowers and if he looked up he would notice that it was night time though it was different then a normal night sky. The stars looked artificial while the flowers felt to soft.
He would hear soft footsteps as someone came closer to him..
" Forgive me....but my name is Ereshkigal not rin. " came a soft voice as a girl walked over to him.
