Coming to terms that everything has changed and you can never go back.

That favorite snack you loved as a kid changed their recipe, the taste forever lost to a memory that fades with age. You went inside from playing with the neighborhood kids one day, without realizing that would be the last time you’d ever go out and play.

You can kick and scream and bite and claw but you can never go back, and you might have changed, but maybe that’s okay. The world still goes on and so do you.
