i get genuinely a bit bummed to think about the fact that the finding vanessa arc just straight up isn't in the books. like i get not switching to eric's POV or really focusing on his scenes, considering how much else is going on, but c'mon. that arc is so fucking good.

eric getting shot in the leg and almost dying in a car accident, dragging himself to the gas station to yell at the employees, then almost bleeding out on the floor until jerry drags him into the back room to patch him up (and also paint his nails)??? that's one of my favorite bits in this series. i realize that sounds insane.

also it has the sexiest spencer depiction and you can quote me on that.
