hello new followers and fans of Little Monster. first of all, i just have to thank everyone for the crazy support ive been getting as of late. thank you everyone. every like, comment, and reblog just pushes me to keep writing, even when it feels like every word i write is garbage.

so i decided to make this little special! idk if anyone will be super interested, so ill put all the stuff under the cut, but i also wanted to add this little drawing i did of terzomega as like extra content. if you arent interested, thanks anyway and enjoy the art!

Is your most recent oneshot about the mirror related at all to Little Monster? (from @ofthemorningstars)

i'm glad you noticed that !! in The Mirror, i very purposefully left two hints at the end of the fic to indicate its connection to Little Monster, which was the taco ring reference and Terzo's use of "mostriciatto". to me, mostriciatto will always be the Little Monster version of terzomega. no matter when i finish that fic or if i write more fics after, i will never again use mostriciatto unless im purposefully writing these versions of terzomega. i havent seen anyone else use it (i hope they dont), so i like to imagine this can be forever my impact on terzomega fics lmao. anyway, the purpose of me leaving those references isnt necessarily to say, "this is a future scene of little monster" bc it isnt exactly that (while i have plans that line up with this oneshot, i cannot anticipate that everything will fit perfectly by the time we get there in the canon). the purpose of doing that was to show u cuties that yes, terzo and omega will eventually have a better relationship, and i will be extending this timeline into papa terzo era. just a fun little teaser for my more observant fans.

also, fun fact about how i came up with that pet name. i was writing the first part of Little Monster (that part is now titled Spilled Wine as featured on my Ao3) and i knew i wanted to give terzo an affinity for using pet names, but i didn't know quite which ones to use. i didn't want to be boring, so i googled some. i have no idea where, but i found mostriciatto, meaning, of course, "little monster." i had yet to even really start writing it, but i knew i wanted it to be DARK with a very unhinged omega, so i thought, perfect. ill talk a bit more about the writing of part one later on

2. How many parts do you currently anticipate writing? Do you have a set ending point, or will this perhaps be an ongoing project for the foreseeable future? (from @ofthemorningstars)

i have 12 major plot points (including the first five parts i have written) that loosely translate into parts. this could mean 12 parts, or it could be more depending on what i write. i kinda plan on expanding this to 18 (6 parts per “era” or “act” [you’ll see what i mean]) though i dont quite have a set ending yet, so really its up in the air. i am, however, planning on having a definitive ending, ergo not an endless project. from there there may be some oneshots in this universe, but they will have an ending.

3. In the first part of little monster you put a disclaimer with something along the lines of "if you're expecting comfort I'm sorry to disappoint". The angst is MWAH but do you like plan on giving Terzo like any sort of comfort or happiness?? (from anon)

before i begin rambling, here's your answer: there will be hope and good times as mentioned above, and you might have even picked up on that in part 5. i may have wrote a fucked up versions of terzomega but whats a good story without character growth?? i havent determined the direction of the ending, but rest assured, if it all burns down, they will hold each other close (for the minute it takes).

but also.... funny story about that disclaimer....

soo i wanted to write ghost fanfic to impress my friend who is a VERY avid member of this community. however, i failed to realize they DO NOT like angst without love and care and fluff, so after i showed it to them, buddy did not like it. i took that as a sign that maybe this shit was a little TOO dark.

but my god, i could not stop thinking about it, as the caption said, and i dont always feel that away about what i write. i had recently started to post semi often to tumblr, and i just thought. well, theres gotta be someone else as fucked up as me, and i posted that shit. that disclaimer was a result of taking my friends reaction seriously and realizing that i needed to make it VERY clear that this fic is NOT for everyone. there was a different og caption that was longer and more grave, but i cut it down for aesthetics bc little monster has already seen more success than i ever anticipated.

my favorite album is Infestissumam!!! the vibes of the album are so fucking immaculate, even if terzo is my favorite papa.

of course, of course, the first song i ever heard from ghost was Mary on a Cross. it blew up when it did and i loved it. the second song that really made me start getting into ghsot was square hammer, which will secretly also be my favorite ghost song but ive heard it so many times i have to give it now to the future is a foreign land. some of my other fave songs are jigolo, respite, body and blood, faith, twenties, and year zero (there’s just so many)

i want to take a second to say my least favorite album though, which is opus eponymous, or as i call it, pope pussy. it’s ok. it’s just ok. mk. i’m not a fan of that sound. the best song on there is genesis. I FUCKING SAID IT—

5. how do you get into the zone of writing smut-? I’m trying to get into it but it sounds cheesy when I do, so do you do something specific? (from anon)

im gonna level with you. i have been writing for almost a decade, since i was 12, and the first thing i started writing was smut. sex has always been a HUGE creative force for my writing and art in general. as stupid as it sounds, writing smut to me is more than just that. its my art. its my greatest and most inspirational subject. i love being creative with it, bending it to the niches and intricacies of the duo im writing, just playing with it as a medium of expression, of storytelling, of how DEEP it can be.

that being said, one of the easiest ways to get into the zone of smut specifically is being horny ! you imagine your pairing doing some illicit bedroom activity and you pick them up liek dolls and smush their faces together ! let it be fun, and let it be yours. dont write it to please the kinks of your audience, write it to your own taste and enjoyment.

as far as it being cheesy, yeah, it will feel that way. the most important thing is to be confident with your language and don’t shy away from calling a dick a dick, a pussy a pussy, an ass an ass. it feels stupid, but it will read worse if you make up artsy names for them every other line. don’t be afraid to be descriptive either, because that’s what the people want to see, trust me.

apologies if that was unhelpful, ive just been writing smut so long i can hardly tell you how i do it. im jsut super passionate about it and it fuels me creatively….. can u tell lol

6. Favorite work you’ve ever done? (from anon)

so.... ive written many things and that depends. its definitely not anything ive posted on here.

i think my favorite "serious" work is a short story i wrote for a creative writing class, called Abel and Sally. it was an modern inversion of the bible story of abraham and sarah, with a really dark ending (i love to shit on catholicism)

the other work that comes to mind is the first story i wrote about my oc anson, called Anson's Prison. that is something i would potentially post on here, its pretty short but its a good one. its oc content, tho, so i doubt many ppl would be interested lel.

8. will you draw more drawing for your stories in the future? (from anon)

well. heres my thing with art.

ive been drawing as long as ive been writing. but im not an artist; i never learned ANYTHING beyond like drawing itself, i.e. i dont know how to shade, pick colors, do bgs, etc. (can u tell??? do u see that art up there???? can YOU TELL??) thus, i have a sort of love hate relationship with drawing, and i usually dont like my own stuff. i didnt pick up drawing as easy as i did writing and its not nearly as intuitive to me.

that being said, it is sometimes fun when the drawings turn out just right and i get super passionate about something i draw and i can create the image in my head. so if the mood strikes me, i probably will draw more terzomega stuff in the future.

Things I wanted to share

Little Monster was supposed to be a one shot

so, Little Monster started as one thing and turned to something else entirely. originally, i wrote the beginning of the first chapter (where they are flirting in the church) in about april of this year. in this version, they were supposed to already be in love, though hiding it, and terzo was not drunk at all, just teasing. i eventually scrapped it because i wasnt very passionate about it and got p bored. then, in july, i had the itch to write something dark, but none of my projects at the time had characters i could really write that with. i came back to that scrapped fic and i thought, damn, i could really fuck these guys up, and i did.

little monster immediately became more successful than i thought it would be, and that was only about 10 notes and a comment in. i was happy to leave it at that, but then, i just started writing part two on a whim. if you look at the og post in the comments, i mention that im writing a "follow up". thats bc even when writing part two, this was not going to be a series !! but then, as i kept writing, part two became so long i had to split it in half, meaning there were suddenly 3. by the time i posted part three, though, i was shocked at the sheer amount of attention i was getting. at the same time, part three ended in such a way that i knew this story needed to keep going, to give these two a resolution. now, little monster will be a full fledged story thanks to all the support ive received :3

2. im an english major

yeah, you got me, im a college student majoring in english creative writing. is it obvious? my penultimate goal is to one day be a published author. it’s crazy surreal to me how much people express to me how they enjoy my writing~~ i hope i can one day make my dream come true 🥰 the unfortunate part about this is i go back to college next week and im uncertain how that will affect my writing schedule :p i’ll stick to weekly uploads for little monster tho dw !!

3. this is the first time i’ve written fanfic in several years

when i first started writing it was frerard and peterick fanfics on wattpad in middle school (huge shoutout to the ones that know lmfao). i stopped writing those before hs and haven’t written fanfic since. i think it’s very funny that i have come full circle back to writing band fanfic, altho ghost ofc is way more intricate with its canon

i know i’ve said it a dozen times already on this post, but god it’s crazy. it’s nuts !! i’ve already made a handful of super sweet mutuals who i appreciate with all my heart, and even if you’re just a lurker, I STILL APPRECIATE YOU. it is entirely thanks to you all that i write terzomega and ive become so passionate about it. if it weren’t for your support, i would probably still be writing my silly little stories that no one but me could possibly understand, rotting away and wondering if anyone would even like my writing. terzo and omega are such a unique pairing compared to what ive written before, and writing them is a really cool feeling. i truly love it, and i hope i can continue to feed this side of the fandom for a long time.

Emi's relationships with the cast

I saw this relationship tracker and figured I'd give a go at filling it for Emi.

Basically, the idea is to use the colors to show how the character feels about everyone in each book.

I chose to do these specifically for how Emi feels about everyone at the end of each book. So the first square closest to her shows her thoughts at the end of book 1, and so on so fort.

There's probably some inaccuracies from me not remembering when everyone's introduced and all - and some things where I'm quite undecided on the details. Still, I think it gets the idea across.

Some of the squares for book 7 are left purposefully empty, since I've yet to see how things go in canon, and if that might affect things at all.

I'm starting to get the feeling Emi's a bit slow to warm up on people, lol.

(Also doesn't help that my Finnish concept of who I'd call a friend doesn't quite match with the more casual anglo use of the word but I tried to be fairly liberal with using that label).

For the Heartslabyul guys, I've pretty much covered my thoughts in this post. It's not an immediate bonding with any of them by any means, but Emi does get to become fairly familiar with them by the end.

Leona's just... I don't think either of them cares for the other's attitude. Leona finds Emi far too bushy-tailed and starry-eyed, whereas Emi does not appreciate his snark and attitude. Nor do they particularly have a reason to brush shoulders and change their opinions of each other.

Azul, meanwhile, is not living down the whole "tried to take Ramshackle from me" business unless I decide to set him on a similar "let's remedy my image in the eyes of the prefect" path as Jamil but.... Mayhaps not.

Tweels are just scary. Nuff said.

Jamil could honestly be a whole rainbow at the ends of books 5 and 6, lol. Status at the end of book 7 depends on where exactly that whole book sits on the timeline in general - plus I've yet to see what happens with Jamil in there and if there'd be some fodder there.

Rook I couldn't quite decide on, like yeah he's eccentric but also I don't think Emi would have a reason to mind him too much? Generally positive vibes I suppose.

Vil, on the other hand... Again someone where he and Emi are just so different that it's hard for them to see eye to eye. Emi gains a lot of respect for him during book 6, though. So, like... She probably wouldn't particularly seek Vil out for a casual chat, but can appreciate the strength of his character.

Idia and Ortho are honestly mostly on the friend territory for that scene at the end of book 6 with the games console stuff. Like yeah if that becomes a more regular thing, they'll definitely bond. Emi enjoys games, though she is also quite comptetitive, so she will be getting grumpy when Idia gets all smug.

(If she ever finds a game she can beat Idia in, she'll cherish that forever, lol.)

Sebek and Silver I assume will end up on friendly terms by the end of the book, but I'll have to see more to be sure. Lilia and Malleus as well, probably gonna be friendly, but we'll see.

Plus Malleus in general, I don't think he'd be in best friends territory, but also might be closer than some of the other folks in green. I really need to figure that whole bit out more in detail. (And if there'd be a small crush from Emi somewhere in there that then fizzles out? Idk, maybe?)

And then there's Grim.

I've been kinda struggling to figure out how he fits in with Emi and how they get along in general.

However, I’m starting to think that the best way to describe their relationship would be sibling-like, with Emi as the older sibling. Like, they’re kinda stuck with each other, and while they do care for each other (eventually), they also bicker a lot.

After all, Grim is a chaos gremlin, while Emi wants order and peace in her life. So they end up butting heads a fair bit, especially in the beginning.

At first, Emi is even resentful that she’s been saddled with looking after Grim. Like why is it her responsibility to keep this creature with a toddler's temperament him in line, when she doesn’t even know this world or how long she’s going to stay? Definitely a rocky start.

On the other hand, book 6 would be a wakeup call for Emi for how much she’s come to care for Grim.

So, there's fondness, for sure, and Emi's very protective over Grim by the time book 6 happens. But if it weren't for the circumstances pushing them together, they probably wouldn't have much of a reason to get along otherwise, with how different they are.

When they start doing their own things a bit more, perhaps even going their separate ways sometime after graduation, Emi's certainly going to be wistful about it, but not necessarily distressed. Like, she wants all the best for Grim, but she’s also okay with having some distance.

…Which now makes me wonder if she’d suggest they take on different internship positions, considering that they’ll probably end up doing different things in the future / after school ends, and how well that’d go over with Grim. Or if they’d even be allowed to do that.

I don't usually post as many in-depth OC thoughts on here anymore, but I thought I'd hop back on, even if only for a lil one. csa ment under the cut. Rambling about Lettie and Sydney today.

I really really need to do something with them interacting if i get more confident writing Sydney because there's just. So much. I think they'd like each other a lot and be really close and good for each other were it not for their positions almost sort of pitting them against each other.

They're both close with Jordan and at the temple a lot, so they probably interact quite a bit, but I think it's always? With Airs On??? idk.

She feels bad for it but I think Lettie secretly dislikes Sydney because of all this IUOJFLK;DL,/jilkl, it really Stings to watch them exist.

However, I do think their shared ISSUES with one Doctor Harper would break those walls down a bit... We all know how Sydney feels about the good doctor, even if not. Why. But yea, Lettie is basically chronically ill dependent on her doctor! so cute and deeply deeply doll coded in a way that I realised makes her great Harperfodder, n being someone that's very good at reading people and such, on top of having earned herself a very quiet and polite distrust of most doctors and authority figures, does N o t think highly of Harper............ anyway something something Sydney notices Lettie having to see Harper a LOT. I think them actually talking about that, in the limited capacities they'd be willing to would break down a lot of their existing notions of each other and make them see each other more as just like. People - people each with their own hidden depths and surprises and all that. I think they'd BOND !!!! As much as I Love Lettie being a petty little fuck, I do also want this so so much.

In the timeline with fully pure Sydney that goes on to become high priest/ess and Lettie stays with the temple, I like the idea of silly silly wise-beyond-her-years, knowing-all-too-much-of-this-wretched-place Lettie advising Sydney a lot,,,, HOWEVER, the little part of me that wants them actually healthy and happy wants the process of them bonding to make them both realise and acknowledge how damaging the temple's doctrine and culture can be so they can both ollie outie byeeeeee xxx I think that can be its own timeline... Based on how Corrupt Sydney is, I think they at least would go for developing a healthier relationship with religion maybe. Idk about Lettie.

i need to think of them more because i think they have the makings for a fun and complicated kinda relationship

How do you believe Eds' childhood was like? Like since the moment toddler Edd meet Ed and Eddy until the events showed on the show? I guess the first half of their childhood were more peaceful and softer, where they were mostly playing games, they were less hated in previous years, and Edd and Eddy's relationship was better (they were certainly less hormonal and confrontational in that time).

i'm not sure how long ed and eddy were friends before edd arrived, but they probably became friends after eddy tried to bully ed and was taken aback by ed's response. i'm picturing their first interaction being something along the lines of "nice pamper there, stretch!" and ed takes it as a genuine compliment and offers to let eddy try it on but only if he can wear eddy's "dress". eddy's embarrassed and is about to run home to mommy but then ed eats a rock or a shoe or something and eddy gets an idea for his first(?) money making venture, bottomless ed.

as far as what they'd get up to before edd comes along i imagine it being pretty similar to stuff we see the two do in the show. roughhousing, gross pranks, eating junk food, watching movies, and eddy making ed do weird stuff for his own entertainment.

at home idk, i mean given the fact that not only is ed still wearing a diaper at such a late stage, but that he's allowed to leave the house without pants kinda tells me all i need to know and confirms that his parents just don't care. i generally think that baths are a sensory nightmare for ed (and that he's probably unknowingly allergic to whatever soap his family uses) and that his parents just gave up trying after a while. it could be the same with clothing for him at that age? regardless, its still a dereliction of duty on their part not to address those things.

eddy's still under bro's thumb whether literally or proverbially. i could be wrong but it seems like bro would either be just about to leave or would have recently left by the time the eds meet. i tend to think he'd still be there but the theoretical timeline is a bit confusing to me. anyway, eddy's home life is the most outwardly normal of the three and i'm not sure i have much to say about them at that time that wouldn't send me into a 3 page nonsensical ramble about eddy and my weirdly specific ideas about his family. suffice to say, he's repressing a lot and has zero insight about what happened to him (he's like 5). he's probably still physically healing from the last game of 'uncle'.

edd's family comes along and no one even knows the new couple on the block has a kid till someone notices a strange little child peeking out the upstairs window from time to time. anyway, i guess it's canon that edd meets the other two when he ends up being a mark for the bottomless ed thing. when i think of tiny edd i imagine the opening for matilda (1996) where matilda basically caring for herself and is already going out on her own, like to the library. that's what edd is up to before he meets ed and eddy. going back and forth to the library and occasionally venturing outside to catch butterflies and look at rocks and stuff. he just happens to cross paths with tweedledee and tweedledum one day and being that he's freshly traumatized (dodgeball incident) and naturally shy and anxious, he's easily swayed by someone like eddy who's always had a strong personality. edd's also likely intrigued and even charmed by his and ed's irreverence and their unabashed childishness. both of which are foreign concepts to him, even at that age. i picture him just sort of tagging along with them for a while in the beginning, hiding behind a tree or something when things get a little too rambunctious. but with the help of eddy's constant ribbing and ed's frequent comparisons of him to some kind of alien species he saw in a movie, edd slowly learns to let loose a little. hanging out with edd and eddy gives him a weird sense of rebellion since the pair are certainly not the upstanding fellows his parents would prefer he spend time around. alright alright i'm cutting myself off here.

as far as any activities the tiny eds do together, like i said they're pretty much doing the same stuff but spending more time playing rather than looking for ways to make money. sadly i think eddy didn't get much of a chance to play with other kids when bro was around since he'd either be too busy placating bro and/or other kids were too scared to come around. so he might take the opportunity to do more kid stuff once bro is gone and now that he has a couple of pals. ed's just happy to be out of the house where his parents are constantly bickering and his baby sister is constantly crying and already wreaking havoc.

edd and eddy's relationship (and ed and edd's for that matter) takes a while to develop because eddy is low-key weirded out by edd, but can tell he's smart so wants to keep him around. like i mentioned, edd is very reserved around the eds early on and doesn't really know how long he's even going to be allowed to spend time with them. luckily for him, his parents are never home and are none the wiser to some of the trio's more hazardous escapades. if anything he'd just deceptively plead amnesia in the event that he was confronted.

i will say i think the eds would still already be ostracized by that point. eddy for his relation to bro, ed and edd for their association with eddy. i do like the idea of eddy and kevin being friends at some point early on, but i haven't given much thought to what that would look like. so for the purpose of this goofy post, we'll assume that was not the case.

i absolutely fucking love your fics, i read so many fanfics i don’t always remember authors but i for sure remember and recognize you and your work partially bc i reread it often❤️ after reading your last daryl fic at 4 am bc i couldn’t sleep i had an idea for a fic for him. what if it was slightly the opposite thing, like daryl and reader got together early on, maybe the knew each other before hand like reader was a bartender at merle’s favorite bar bc we all know daryl takes time to warm up to be ppl, and the cdc happens, while drinking they make their confession and get together officially, but readers like daryl with the fact they’re kinda shy and take a while to warm up to ppl so they don’t do pda and stuff publicly, not really intending to hide it but also not wanting the attention, and maybe they assume their ppl from their group know (this is where the set up for that last fic got me bc i can see this being a long timeline) but their ppl don’t, so they tease them but the teasing could also mean like their relationship. some examples of the teasing could be when at the farm, reader loses their shit on andrea for shooting daryl and maybe shane’s like “don’t worry your man will be fine” ofc for shane the teasing is the “your man” part but reader thinks it’s bc shane’s a dick and likes andrea so he’s saying that, or readers on watch tower with maggie and maggie gives reader shit for checking him out and maggie’s teasing thinking it’s a crush but reader thinks she’s teasing bc their together, or daryl’s on a run with rick and he finds something and is like “reader would like this” and ricks like “do you think about anything but the reader” and daryl thinks he’s asking bc they’re together but rick is teasing the “crush” and maybe when rosita, abraham, and eugene see reader and daryl reunite, since it’s a long hug and nothing else, they think “if they obviously care about each other but aren’t together” like just a bunch of small moments that lead to alexandria and they decide “maybe we should get married” either bc it was a close call on a run or alexandria-ans aren’t “respecting” (if their own family can’t tell, neither can the ppl there lol) their relationship so reader and daryl want ppl to be able to just know. and then when they show up with rings their original group is just like “when tf did you even get together??? how long have you been married????” and reader and daryl are like “y’all didn’t know??” idk something funny. sorry i didn’t realize i was rambling. anyway, i love your fics so much and im excited to see future things, thank you if you end up doing this and no stress of you don’t, have a lovely evening!!!

Ok sooo obviously mizisua is madohomu but it's a little hard to decide who would be madoka and who would be homura for a number of reasons. Apon first looks you might think that sua would be madoka and mizi would be homura because of the whole sacrificing thing+ that one piece of angel sua devil mizi official art buuuuuuut if you look deeper you'll realize that it doesn't really fit: the most noticable part is that mizi has pink hair and sua has black hair+ purple eyes . Mizis whole thing is that she was unaware of her worlds dark nature until her gf died which kindaaaaa defeats the whole thing about homura as opposed to sua who was generally always kinda sad because she knew what was gonna happen if she lost which isn't really something like madoka??? (Also. Mizi is shown to have a generally supportive alien family while sua is shown to have a neglectful one which kinda contracts the thing about homura basically being a Catholic orphan and madoka being the only character in the show to have a supportive AND alive family. Idk if you get it but yeah) anyways I still decided that mizi would be homura and sua would be madoka because of some other reasons but. Yeah. You kinda understand

I think that they fit ivantill perfectly (sorta) because it's kinda obvious (at least for me) that who would be who here: kyoko would be Till because of her overall aggressive nature BUUUUUT also because till crushing on mizi would kinda also fit homuras and kyokos relationship since kyoko is basically the only person that homura can always trust. sayaka would be Ivan because of the whole "longing for someone who doesn't love you back" thing+ some other reasons (thought Ivan sayaka having beef with sua madoka while being close friends with mizi homura doesn't. Rlly make sense so) Ivan being fated to death could also kinda add up the fact that sayaka witched out every time she became a magical girl. I think you kinda understand why

Sooo Mami is Luka for a number of reasons: both have a reasonable amount of yellow in their designs, both are (physically) the eldest of their groups both are kindaaaaa insane ect ect. It's also fitting because Luka being the "king" of the stage could also add up the thing about Mami being an experienced magical girl and being WAYYY too much in the whole thing. R5 could also be a parallel to the Mami vs homura gun fight (specifically the part where mizi beats the tar out of Luka) . The ONE difference between these 2 is that Mami genuinely feels remorse lol

Anddddd last but not least (drumrolllllllll).... Hitomi as Hyuna. YES I know this seems strange but I actually have multiple reasons to believe why this sorta fits??? First of all Hitomi never becomes a magical girl no matter what which kinda fits hyunas rebel thing. Also iirc Hitomi had a crush on homura in one of the timelines???? Which could kinda add up to the thing about Hyuna rescuing mizi In r5. I guess Issac and Dewey could be those 2 friends of madoka from the first episode but idk. Mayyyyyybe kyosuke could be hyunwoo but idk LOLLLLLLL.

my interpretation of your au was that mizi would be homura, sua would be madoka, till would be kyouko, and ivan would be sayaka. i hadn't got as far as thinking about mami, nevermind hitomi, but i would probably put mami down as hyuna for my own self-indulgence (i love shipping mizi/hyuna), and therefore hitomi as luka.

my reasoning, which is not to say it's superior to yours or anything, but like instead just building off your ideas...

just btw, when you do crossovers, it doesn't have to be 1:1! that's the whole point, you can make your own self-indulgent story! if you enjoy it, then that's mission accomplished! so this is my self-indulgence that i wanted to share with you too :3

homura as mizi: the themes are what i would like to focus on here! in homura's original timeline, homura was saved by madoka. not to mention, homura deifies madoka, just as mizi deifies sua.

madoka as sua: madoka isn't all sunshine and rainbows! she has been known to turn into a witch, so i think her taking on sua's "role" so to speak of understanding the larger picture of the alien society could fit! and like i said, her dying/becoming deified by homura also fits.

sayaka as ivan: their vibes are similar 🤔 and sayaka having an unrequited crush that drives her to sacrifice herself is pretty much right up her alley.

kyouko as till: their vibes are SO similar. i also think kyouko reads as anti-establishment! and this would be perfect for her to take on till's "role". it would mean that her values/attitudes/rebellion of hating the aliens would get painted as part of the show by the aliens, and again this is fitting. plus i like your points. kyouko DOES have some kind of homoerotic thing going on with homura 😳

mami as hyuna: mami might be less of a wildcard than hyuna, but i think being older and more experienced still lends credibility to her taking on hyuna's "role" of a rebel. i also just like mizi/hyuna and homura/mami is a fascinating ship to me.

hitomi as luka: look, i'll be the first to say luka is fascinating as a character and i want to put him under a microscope, and in the same breath i'll say i dislike him (yet i understand his actions and do not blame him). and yet i love hitomi. which makes it all the more interesting to list hitomi as luka, actually, because i think i would adore hitomi in luka's shoes. hitomi is shown to be quite mature in the pmmm universe, but put her in the high-stakes alien stage scenario in luka's shoes and i think she would actually get driven to the extremes luka did. especially when you consider that it's theorised luka's skin condition is the result of what can be interpreted as extreme abuse at the hands of his alien owner. one thing that i want to note is luka (and therefore hitomi in his shoes) could very likely feel remorse! remember, he's performing to Literally Save His Own Life. we need to humanize them, we need to humanize ALL the contestants, because the real monsters are the aliens running the show. that's the whole point of alien stage's commentary on idols performing under capitalism: idols irl are dangled around as if they are puppets, and you as the audience eat it up, but the people behind the scenes making them sing for scraps are the real scum.

honestly such a great question and it's been something I've been thinking about as I write, anon, so thank you for this ask!!

I have a ton of ideas floating through my head currently as to what occurs. My fic takes place in 1483 DR, 9 years before the tadpole-ing. Some canon timelines are getting adjusted in my fic so things flow better but I'm trying to keep it relatively similar.

Sorry for the wall of text, you have activated my brain worms. I also don't want to spoil any future events of my fic, so I'll give some options of what could happen while being a little vague.

Hircine (my Tav) and Astarion stay married by the time the tadpole events occur. One of them gets snatched up, and the other gets left behind, not knowing what happened. I'd say the one who got grabbed up would be doing their damndest to make it home to their partner. My HC would be Astarion gets grabbed and Hircine stays behind, but what ensues after, hmm, hard to say.

Both get snatched up. Either they go through the events of the game together, or they end up separated, with one in Team Tadpole and the other possibly under the Absolute's thrall. I think that would make for some great angst.

Neither get snatched and they kinda go along business as usual until BG comes under attack by the absolutes forces. Maybe they survive. Maybe they don't.

What if they aren't together anymore by the events of the game and are now back in each other's lives, trying desperately to survive while growing close again? Maybe they realize it truly never would have worked between them or they fall back in love knowing the beginning of their relationship was a sham but now they have an opportunity to start anew.

And then there's the option of the absolute crisis doesn't happen at all and they just continue on as normal, either together or broken up...

There are so many outcomes... I haven't quite decided exactly how I want the fic to go, but these are the ideas I'm juggling around.

Jack wasn't perfect. i'll admit it. then again, dude was like. twenty two. with a multitude of other issues (we were fucking poor, i'm like pretty sure that even then he was struggling mental health wise, and i'm pretty sure that even if those two things Weren't an issue, A Twenty-Two Year Old Probably Ain't Ready To Care For A Child All By Themself). but in my eyes, he was doing his best. he made me my Springbonnie plush himself. like, he took a picture of that robot and sewed that. was it perfect? to most people it wouldn't be. but i fucking loved that thing. comfort item 👍

Dave and I's relationship was. Complicated. on one hand, we were pretty chill with each other pre-my death, and even then, I Could Tell Dave Wanted Nothing To Do With My Murder (doesn't change the fact that he still kinda. Helped With It. but y'know). also knew about the whole Henry Decided To Do Some Literal Mindfuckery (only reason i didn't do anything was because I Was Fucking Trapped In A Box And The Closest Thing I Could Do To Leaving Was Astral Projection, And Even Then I Couldn't Even Control When It Happened), and i didn't like it!! i felt bad for him i'll be real!! offered to help him out if he'd help me out (he didn't; he was too scared of Henry. can't blame him there tbh).

where it gets complicated is The Rest Of The Child Murder. And Other Bullshit.

but y'know what? i think he definitely redeemed himself. he wanted to fix things. make up for what he did. and i think he was doing pretty well :]

also saved my life in the Flipside, so y'know that probably swayed my opinion a little bit (came from the Good Route, Legacy Jack showed up for some reason and Nearly Killed Me (idk how this happened, but there always Was some Timeline Fuckery in my memories), and Dave just kinda stayed with me until Our Jack showed up)

he and Jack also flirted A Lot in the Flipside. i think i jokingly told them to get a room like. five separate times.

First impression - Why did they replace Byleth wtf? Who is this bitch?

Impression now - S H E Z ! ! ! I love Shez so much. They are so blorbo! (also m!shez is kinda gender i can't lie.)

Favourite moment - There's a lot tbh. But the end of Edelgard's route where Shez is wanting a high five after the final battle is so damn funny. The fact that she actually gives them want they want only adds to it.

Idea for a story - I'm sure this is a popular story idea, but Shez in the normal Three Houses timeline. Picks a class to join. The Ashen Demon ends up as their professor. A true bruh moment for Shez.

Unpopular opinion - No idea if this is a hot take but Shez is the better Fodlan protagonist. They feel like a real character compared to Byleth's... Stale bread. (edit: The stale bread thing is a joke in a loving way and I still like Byleth. Their personality is subtle and that's okay! For me Byleth is more of a self insert feeling character compared to Shez, idk im rambling aaaaaaa.)

Favourite relationship - Shez and Arval. (Me and the bestie that no one else can see or hear!) Bonus points for Shez and Ashe as well.

Favourite headcanon - idk why, but Shez with freckles just popped up in my head while thinking of headcanons. (drawing idea for me for later hehe) And Trans Shez too :)

For each character, what would they have contributed if they lasted longer in the story. Like the role. Antag, development, support, that one character who does nothing but survives anyway, etc

Sorry for question count I'm a very questiony guy. Also yes, this is York the guy who gave Bojack-o-lattern a ton of nicknames. Also I've watched some of Breaking Bad and watched Saiki K almost all of Season 1 (dubbed). Both are really fucking good. There's an Ao Oni movie apparently but the demon design is apparently bad, wait shit I'm rambling. Let me stop now.

1. I haven’t watched it myself, but as long as you enjoy the show yourself and the characters you’re writing, then that’s great! As long as you’re passionate, you could even convince others to check it out

As these other answers are kinda long, I’m gonna put them under the cut ↓ ↓ ↓

2. I’ll answer this for DR69 as it’s easier as that story is already finished.

Mr. Krabs - probably would’ve taken on an arc of greed or teamwork that would’ve reflected into Luigi in some way

Mario - would’ve taken on a very tight-knit support role for Luigi, perhaps helping him come out of his shell and befriend anyone Luigi would

Dedede - as a comical character in the story, it would’ve been funny if he did get access to a hammer or something and tried to break down a wall, only for it to actually lead them to somewhere useful (or makes a hole that a killer could utilise for a murder case)

Ashley - like a mentioned in a very previous post, she would’ve had an arc of coming out of her comfort zone and making more friends, gaining some confidence on the side to confide in others. She would probably become a close friend to Luigi, who takes on a similar type of parental role he does with Parappa (as one single man can never have too many kids)

2D - I’d like to think we’d get to see him perform at some point. Either as a performance with Miku and Teto, or maybe on his own without the cosmetics and show lights, singing to someone who needs the motivation

Peter - I won’t lie, I don’t particularly want Peter to be an endgame character, even in an alternative timeline. I think he’d continue to just be a comic relief character tho, just not so loudly during the darker parts as we get later into the story

Sans - If Sans was alive longer, sansmaeda would be able to be explored more than just during the trial and some parts before. Perhaps the relationship would cause some problems with trust, or it would change the dynamic of the group in someway (as the first sort of relationship they’ve been accustomed to). On his own, I think he’d begin to actually care about investigating himself and find some pretty useful things

Fluttershy - for Fluttershy, she’d be able to spread her kindness a lot further from when she died. Since she had her own doubts herself, however (seen in her diary), it would’ve been a good opportunity for her to receive help from others rather than just being so selfless. Also, she would’ve been able to share her drawings herself, allowing her to explain her creative process and see the others' reactions to her art

Brian - if Brian was persuaded to keep going, he’d have no regrets, more easily able to accept certain strange things and focus on what’s most important: saving everyone else. I think he’d often try to be self-sacrificial, but others would convince him they all need to stay alive together

3. I’ll continue to answer this with just DR69.

Chap 1 - add more events to the daily life. It felt kinda short, even if it was my first ever dangan chapter, and it would’ve been nice to see more events with the whole cast before one bit the dust. I’d like to see them all do something together -- maybe find a way to escape even if it backfires.

Chap 2 - this is more of a technical thing, but I accidentally forgot to have one of the three practicing the play (either The Conductor, Miku or Teto) mention they were rehearing in Classroom 1-A and not the performance hall during the night of the 2nd murder. This led to some theories believing the latter, which made me feel a bit guilty as it led some theories the wrong way.

Chap 3 - I mentioned before I wanted to also add more events to the daily life of ch3. However, I’d probably remove that um. Luigi having to be a real plumber for Peter scene because it was just gross and I only did it because I thought some people would find it funny I guess?? Like it’s not the worst thing ever but I don’t like stooping to toilet level humour often.

Chap 4 - for this chapter, I think I’d want to justify why Sans killed Peter himself. While taking on a selfless act as he didn’t want Nagito to die is alright, just Peter making fun of Papyrus doesn’t really reflect why Sans would get so mad. However, this was actually because in a very old plan I had, Peter had actually killed Papyrus himself (idk how or why but he did) and that confession would be what had led Sans into killing him. I mean I guess it could’ve been possible in a prequel type thing but it would make things more messy (also impossible considering Papyrus is alive for the albeit dead sequel)

Chap 5 - I think I would add more moments of Luigi seeing Parappa hanging out with Brian and trying to make him happy again. We only really see him trying to talk to Nagito, and not with the other two often. It would be nice to have Luigi at least know one thing they did together, making the moment it all falls apart in the trial much more harder to bear.

Chap 6 - I can’t think of much I would change here. However, I would’ve liked to add a part during the trial where Luigi reminisces on the others who have passed away, and I would add a CG of a collage of all the final moments of each character like how they did in SDR2 and NDRV3. I just think it’d look cool but painful as a reminder of all the deaths in one big image. I’d also add a CG right at the end of all 5 survivors standing together after escaping the school. I was planning to, but I got quite burned out after basically working on that final chapter so intently after such a long hiatus.

idk if i ever shared this here, but I'm listening to a song that just made me think about valerie and jackie and their early friendship so I'm gonna ramble for a sec here:

so in 2065 valerie starts working in a kinda seedy hostess club somewhere in night city (deets pending, but probably japantown). i was very much inspired by samantha from tokyo vice here--samantha and valerie aren't that much alike overall, but samantha is very clever and great at reading people, and i was like YES same for valerie. this was one part of her timeline i had been coming up blank on so it worked out nicely.

so anyway, valerie plays it pretty straight for the first year, just being a charismatic drinking companion to lonely people with more money than sense, but one night when she's leaving the club, she encounters a few gangsters who try to mug her (deets on what gang also pending). she was holding her own just fine but jackie shows up and gives her a little assistance. she thanks him, they chat a bit, and they have a little serendipitous moment when they realize he's actually dating one of her roommates (she's living in mega 5 in heywood at the time).

jackie and valerie bump into each other a few more times on account of the roommate he's dating, and while that relationship doesn't last long, valerie and jackie discover that they have a solid (and strictly platonic) rapport. when jackie finds out that a double-crossing 'tino has been conducting shady biz at her club, he asks if she'd be willing to help him help get the evidence he needs to bring the guy down. valerie agrees, for a price, and thus begins a beautiful partnership. her role as an unassuming hostess means she's got an ear to the ground on a lot of street biz, and she passes along what is useful (and profitable) to jackie.

she finds it sort of thrilling for a time, and after being pretty lonely for most of her early 20s, she really values jackie's friendship. but eventually, she feels like it's beneath her and leaves for arasaka (like the good little corpo cog she was meant to be), which does sour things a bit between her and jackie. they don't really talk again until she needs his assistance getting intel for the border incident (of which I also lack deets atm), and jackie harbors a bit of a grudge against her for thinking she's soooo much better than he is (which is ofc a little reductive but also not entirely untrue either, as these things tend to be).

and all of this is why he is really hyped up when she gets the boot from 'saka, because they lived this sort of life together before and they were great partners. he really wanted to show her that she could find a life outside of the corporate rat race. alas... we all know how that ends.

(and this was the song. like only 3 lines of the lyrics really fit but as is usually the case for me with music, it's more about the vibe. i can just see like a movie montage of valerie passing off datachips to jackie, them drinking it up and celebrating, getting into back-alley fights when a mark goes awry, etc etc.)

🤭🤭🤭 i will say that i was indeed trying to mess with the readers a bit when i threw that yeonjun scene in… like i knew it didn’t make sense given how the timeline went but idk. i like sneaking in a silly plot twist ! (i think it’d be insane if i did make yeonjun the killer. like how tf would that have worked)

im sure you’ve probably seen them already, (😭) but i’ve provided things in other asks like a timeline and insight on certain aspects of the story (huening and yeji, the reveal scene) and even a small ramble on what i think happened after the story ended :3 

NOW THE BEOMGYU THING… ooooh…. while beomgyu wasn’t a target (which is discussed in the ask where i talk about what happens after the fic ends) i think it definitely would’ve added an interesting new aspect to taehyun and mc’s relationship… it really make me think and wonder haha

im gonna be honest, scream iv was…. not for me…! not bc it was too gory or scary or whatever (the sfx was actually kinda cool to see aklaghd) but idk… the story was just kinda on the eh side for me. but this is also coming from a bitch who had never seen any of the scream franchise movies so,,, take that as you will. (i literally watched videos about the scream timeline to get a better understanding of the franchise and the tropes LMAO)

a ramble about coaptation plot and trystan employment issues

Ive been in such an In the Mirror zone lately but I abruptly brainteleported back into Coaptation zone.

Fun fact about my plans for that: I have a scrivener doc split into three sections: Before Trystan Comes Back, Trystan Comes Back, and After Trystan Comes Back. And like fully a third of After Trystan Comes Back is various plotlines about Trystan and employment. Nevermind the basic fact that it's hard to get a job as an ex-con with 0 employment history, Trystan just has Issues with work.

Idk if ALL of these plotlines will happen or in this exact order but basically here's what I've got so far.

At first he's just happily unemployed, but then he gets depressed and feels stuck in Gavin's apartment, so Gavin talks him into getting a job, which is a big source of conflict at first, because Trystan hears "I think you seem unhappy being in my apartment all the time, maybe you need enrichment, getting a job was good for me yknow, also we're broke always" and jumps to "you're useless and annoying and should just fucking leave forever."

This is another recurring relationship issue. Trystan approaches every problem with "fight or flight" and Gavin is so freaked out by the idea of Trystan leaving, which sometimes also freaks Trystan out and makes him feel trapped, even though he also desperately wants Gavin to want him around.

So anyway Trystan gets a warehouse job and feels so martyric about it, but the job sucks physically and mentally, and he has an entire crisis about how he can't quit or Gavin will be So Upset with him, and maybe it's kind of romantic slowly destroying his body like this. And Gavin's like "bro ur forgetting im literally disabled from a factory job? Ur forgetting every workers rights rant ive ever gone on?? Just quit!!"

And then the next job is soul sucking in a different way, it's like a desk job shuffling papers or something, and Trystan quits and is like actually I was right, jobs suck and authority sucks and I'm gonna be unemployed 5ever, fuck the system. And Gavin's like bro maybe you're just depressed and you haven't found the right one? #notalljobs. And Trystan's like sorry I'm failing to find joy?? Sorry I'm not the happiest little worker bee??? Sorry I'm failing to delight in finding some meager way to apologize to society for my existence and be less of a useless parasite??

And Gavin's like bro, ur not a parasite, ily, you can be unemployed, also pls stop threatening to leave every time you have a problem. yes i know you dont mean it as a threat but i feel threatened

And then this fic I just wrote, where Trystan just dissociates out of a job that he actually finally liked, and Gavin actually successfully gets him to agree to therapy. It just occurred to me and I scribbled it out today so I'm not sure if it fits in with the timeline or how it fits in. I think it's kind of fun that Trystan's scared he's gonna like, accidentally break up with Gavin and leave for good, but also the topic doesn't even come up, unlike many other times when it very much does come up.

Eventually endgame is that Trystan has a series of odd temporary jobs, does a lot of traveling and different things, is still often between jobs but just embraces the inconsistency of it instead of trying to stay at one forever and be trapped on either side of a permanent employed/unemployed binary.

So, yeah, definitely some recurring patterns here. I'm aware it gets kinda redundant, but also it be like that? But also I don't want the whole book to be overwhelmed by WORK DRAMA lmao. They have plenty of other drama.

Trystan domestication plotline is hard for both of them lmao

You can kind of see why Gavin's mom is like "ah, yes, we just need to teach ur chronically unemployed partner to be a happy housewife and homemaker" even though she's incredibly off the mark with that

i’ll make the full timeline in a separate post, but i’ll sum up stuff real quick here. onyx was in love with trahearne, tragically that didn’t work out cuz he died rip. she’s real sad for a while, so she ignores the beginnings of some feelings for braham and caithe. after kralk, she and canach have a brief and casual fling, and then onyx ends up falling for jayrim while hanging out in elona. they eventually have to split up, especially with onyx having to leave elona and jayrim wanting/having to stay. during ibs, onyx’s old crush on braham pretty much punches her in the face. when he becomes primordus’ champ, onyx is SUPER worried about him. when she finds him alive after the fight, she gets rly emotional, like telling him how much she cares about him and stuff. she knows her feelings are more than a lil crush now, but refrains from making a move bc braham needs some time to recover (both physically and emotionally). in eod, caith and onyx have some real cute moments as aurene’s moms, i think jayrim pops up again with the corsairs here, and i really like the idea of onyx asking out braham after the engagement party. the big issue now though, is that i feel like caithe and onyx should have started dating after onyx and jayrim dated, but before onyx has her big Feelings Epiphany with braham at the end of ibs. that basically just leaves me with ibs as the timeframe, which is rough bc i don’t think caithe shows up during ibs at all?

ok. so. i’ve thought of two options rn. one: onyx meets up with caithe after leaving elona, and that’s when they start dating. two: they spend time together in the eye of the north and end up dating

option one works, but i feel like onyx would have left elona bc of the start of ibs? like she leaves because she has to go to the charr rally thing. i guess maybe she could’ve still had time to swing by the grove and hang out with caithe? but idk. i could just make up some other reason that onyx had to leave, like maybe her family or something? ok, that has some promise!

option two feels a bit more possible to me, but i’m also not super sure how much caithe was at eotn during ibs. also, there was a lot of war stuff happening so idk if they would’ve had time for dating?

ok i’m kinda leaning towards option one now… like, onyx gets contacted by her family that they need her to come back for like a wedding, or to celebrate an achievement of one of her siblings? one’s trying to be a minister, one’s in the seraph, and another one is a priest, so any one of them could have done something cool enough to warrant onyx going back to see them. (also i promise i didn’t forget jasper, around this point in time he’d too busy partying to do anything worth onyx coming home for lol) so with onyx going back, she says that while it’ll be a long time, she’ll come back to elona afterwards! or, if jayrim wanted to… she could come with? and jayrim tells her that this has been great, and she loves onyx and all, but she can’t stop being a corsair. and onyx can’t stop being the commander. either way, this isn’t gonna work out forever, so… maybe it’s best if they end it now. and so they agree to break up but they’re both sad about it :(

so then maybe onyx and caithe starts as a kind of rebound thing? like they run into each other, and start hanging out. and hm! she’s feeling some things! onyx thinks back to their talks together as they took care of bb aurene, and now that she thinks about it, she might have had some feelings for caithe at the time? and these current weird feelings feel a lot like those?? wait has she been kinda in love with caithe this whole time??? and then they start dating :3c

also, i think onyx and caithe would talk about braham during or after ibs? bc like, i want onyx to be kinda freaking out over her feelings for braham, but i don’t want her to be kind of cheating on caithe :/ so maybe they have a convo early on about like, possibly being a poly/open relationship? i could see onyx thinking about this since she just had that whole thing with jayrim, so maybe at the time she’d be kinda hoping to get back together someday? either way, i feel like caithe would be pretty open to it, cuz i’m sure sylvari aren’t that monogamous. i feel like caithe would just want onyx to run it by her before she adds somebody yknow? and she’d run it by onyx if she liked anyone! tho i don’t think she would? i think caithe wouldn’t really be looking for another partner. like, i think caithe would like a monogamous relationship, but she’s also ok with a poly one, especially if they keep up good communication and that onyx doesn’t like, forget about her or something. yeah. i think that the idea they’d have for their relationship at first is that caith would be dating onyx, who would also be dating braham, and then also jayrim. but then caithe and jayrim would start dating eventually too :)

OH ALSO!!! i could always add yao…. bc im Love Them. and i could see them dating onyx and braham… oohhhhhhh that’s so cuteeeee….. lol and then the polycule is two triangles, which is kinda fun!

What more info do we have on this? Is that the case that made Juno leave the HCPD? Glory-pig would imply that he would've taken a win that wasn't his? Or tried to get under the spotlight at the expense of others? But that doesn't really seem like something Juno would do? (Even though we don't really know how a younger Juno would've acted in the HCPD). So maybe the bad reputation he got is based on a misunderstanding? Or him covering for someone?

An important point of this story is that it's linked to Diamond is some way.

Because then in The Stolen City we have this :

"And I’ve got a lot of excuses, sure. My mother, my brother, all that junk that happened in the HCPD with Diamond and Captain Hijikata... but if I’m being honest with myself I’ve always been this way. From minute one."

How is it linked to Diamond? What did Juno do?

I think I saw people talking about how the person Juno goes to see on Io at the end of season 3 could be Hijikata and honestly that would be awesome, I'd kill for some backstory, (but a part of me feels like maybe Hijikata died?? Idk that's just a feeling I have nothing to back it up)

Actually, there are 3 people I'm very interested in from the HCPD time : Diamond, Captain Hijikata and Puck Falco.

When Juno meets Rita he tells her :

JUNO: 

This can’t be happening. Is this a joke? You’re a prank, right? Falco set you up for this. Or Diamond, maybe. 

I'm not sure of what we know about Falco but I'm pretty sure they're important.

We know they were Juno's colleague, I think they had the same rank since they were both detectives?

JUNO: 

Sure, Rita, that sounds great. Hey, you mind bothering Detective Falco for a few hours? Got twenty pounds of paperwork and a serial slasher to deal with, so I'm, uh. Kinda busy. 

And idk why I thought Juno had been in the HCPD for a while already but no they met quite early in his career :

RITA: 

Okay, "Juno Steel." I get it! You've only been outta the Academy for a few months

So that means multiple things :

1. Juno either knew Puck Falco and Diamond from the academy, or they just met quite recently.

2. Juno was either already in a relationship with Diamond in the Academy or it happened later and both possibilities are very interesting.

ANYWAY

I'm also interested in knowing the amount of time between Juno and Rita meeting in the HCPD until them both leaving and Rita buying the new PI office :

RITA: 

It ain’t a gift. This is where I work, too. 

JUNO: 

What about the HCPD?

RITA:

Not anymore. I like doin’ good things for good people. An’...Detective Falco’s good people, but it just ain’t the same. Not after all that... y'know. I work for you, Boss. That's just how it is. 

Because that gap in the time-line could mean A LOT OF THINGS.

Anyway again,

We know Puck Falco was good since Rita liked them (I've also seen people saying THEY'RE the one Juno's gonna go meet on Io and honestly, I'd love it too, I just wanna know more PLS ESPECIALLY since they've transferred to another Planet I think? I'm pretty sure) so Juno and them were probably close, maybe friends?

But once again, the incident is mentioned "not after all that... y'know", that's definitely mentioning the Hijikata thing? But WHAT?

We know it was a case, we know Juno got his bad rep from it, we know from Khan it was about "taking down someone big".

(OK, sidetraking here but I'm thinking, it could've something to do with the Kanagawas? That may seem a bit random but I'm sure we've not heard the last of them sooo why not?)

But that's just guessing, we don't actually have any info on who that "someone big" could've been.

Anyway,

Going back to Diamond, we know from Rita that she was apparently gone before Juno left the HCPD so I'd say that case wasn't what caused the relationship to stop, maybe Juno did what he did during that case after the failed wedding??? But Juno very clearly links whatever happened with Hijikata and what happened with Diamond so who knows? But, that's all just guesswork and I have no clue if it would even make sense with the timeline

I don't even know if my rambling makes any semblance of sense but I wanted to spill all of this somewhere, you're free to correct me if I made any mistake or to add more info or your own hypothesis, I'd be very interested to have more opinions on these topics!
