wes  let  her  in  .  .  .  unlike  he  had  ever  let  anyone  else  in  before.  she  met  his  kid  sister,  and  while  he  didn't  tell  her  much  about  his  history  with  his  father,  he  told  her  it  was  complicated  and  that  he  hadn't  seen  him  in  a  few  years.  they  were  alone  now,  his  sister  asleep  in  her  room,  and  the  two  sitting  close  together.  her  words  were  a  whisper  between  the  pair  as  he  lingered,  having  leaned  in  to  kiss  her.

  ❝  how  do  you  think  i  got  started  as  the  group's  bad  boy?  ❞  he  asked  jordan,  pushing  back  light  brown  hair  away  from  her  face.     ❝  no  one  likes  getting  hurt  .  .  .  that's  why  we  build  walls.  create  a  new  personality  as  someone  who  doesn't  give  a  fuck.  ❞  getting  hurt  was  something  wes  had  been  familiar  with  growing  up,  something  he  swore  he'd  never  let  happen  again.

   ❝  you  don't  have  to  be  tough  around  me.  just  be  you.  ❞  he  was  so  close  to  her,  his  forehead  and  nose  touching  hers,  waiting  for  consent  to  kiss  her.  waiting  for  her  to  be  okay  with  letting  her  defenses  down  enough  for  him.

wes  has  been  sitting  in  a  chair  in  his  hotel  room  while  his  stylists  worked  with  jordan,  dressing  her  for  a  red  carpet  event  the  band  was  attending.  all  of  the  band  members  were  bringing  their  significant  other  with  them  so  wes  invited  jordan.  this  was  their  first  event  together  since  wes  started  having  feelings  for  jordan.  they  had  been  dating  for  months  and  wes  hasn't  shared  with  jordan  that  he  actually  is  developing  feelings  for  her.  or  that  aside  from  his  friends,  slash  bandmates,  she  is  the  only  one  who  truly  knows  him.

he  doesn't  realize  she  was  watching  him  in  the  mirror  as  she  tries  on  dresses.  the  most  recent  one  had  him  checking  her  out.  it  was  different  than  what  he  was  used  to  seeing  her  in,  not  that  she  hasn't  attended  red  carpets  with  him  before  under  the  guise  of  being  his  girlfriend,  but  he  never  got  to  be  part  of  the  trying  on  process.  he  never  really  got  asked  his  opinion  on  dresses  until  they  are  on  the  carpet  and  he's  telling  her  the  dress  isn't  really  her,  making  it  look  like  he's  whispering  sweet  nothings  to  her  as  they  get  their  pictures  taken.

this  dress  is  more  jordan's  style,  one  he  felt  the  team  would  say  it's  not  perfect  for  the  event  but  wes  wanted  her  to  be  dressed  as  her,  not  some  doll.     ❝  just  admiring  how  you  this  dress  is…  you  should  wear  it  tonight.  ❞  he  answered,  dressed  for  the  event  already,  minus  the  tie  they  wanted  him  to  wear,  and  shirt  not  fully  buttoned  up  yet.

eyes   rolled   as   wes   sat   down   across   from   the   hired   girlfriend.   his   eyes   focused   on   @burygods   as   they   sat   in   the   mom   and   pop   diner   the   pr   agents   knew   a   lot   of   fans   of   neon   knights   frequented.   his   phone   was   on   the   table   in   between   them   as   he   thought   about   what   to   say.   they   were   supposed   to   be   dating   but   as   someone   who   hasn't   dated   since   the   band   became   famous   he   wasn't   sure   what   to   do.   so   he   decided   awkward   silence   was   best.   Sunglasses   and   a   hat   hid   his   face,   to   give   the   appeal   that   he's   trying   to   keep   himself   hidden,   but   was   only   drawing   attention   of   those   in   the   diner.   he   leaned   across   the   table   towards   the   girl   across   from   him.    ❝   what   do   you   want   to   order?   want   to   split   an   order   of   fries?   ❞   he   asked.   wes   tried   to   ignore   the   urge   to   check   his   phone,   only   because   he   wanted   to   check   in   to   see   how   his   sister   was,   since   he   was   supposed   to   be   on   a   date.    ❝   i   have   to   be   honest   .   .   .   i   haven't   been   on   a   date   in   years.   at   least   not   one   that's   not   going   to   end   in   sex.❞

after his dad took off on his sister and her mom, wes started sending her mom money, only for her to drop his sister off at his home and take off. he's been her sole guardian since she was two and he was 18. due to this, a lot of people assumed he was a single father that got a random woman pregnant, which only solidified his bad boy image, despite it being utterly false.

Neon Knights is the first boy band to have a transgender member in the band. And he is one of Wes’s closest friends in the band.

wes is a 23 year old singer in the boy band neon knights. his mother is french and his father is spanish, he grew up speaking french, spanish, and english.
