From making a friendship bracelet with his number on it, to making SNL cameos with Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce was a guy with a dream, and he accomplished it. Travis Kelce is known for being a famous football tight end and winning two Super Bowl rings in a short time. Taylor Swift, as we all know, is the biggest pop star in the world. Nobody would have expected these two to start dating, but their love story is one for the ages. According to CBS, Kelce went to her concert and stated, ‘there are friendship bracelets and I had received a bunch of them, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.’ Although some time passed before anything happened, Kelce announced that he invited Swift to one of his Chiefs games, and to everyone's surprise…she showed up! Now Taylor goes to every single one of his games, and they are seen riding off into a getaway car afterward. The whole world became obsessed with them, and they made the ultimate cameo at SNL as Swift introduced the musical guest, and Kelce was in a skit about her. Taylor On the Big Screen!
The biggest concert of the year is finally available to watch without having to go through The Great War of Ticketmaster. It is no surprise that Taylor Swift’s tour has been all anyone has talked about this year. Not only did fans fight for tickets, but they made it the best experience one could have. Swifties who got tickets dressed up as eras, made friendship bracelets to trade, and many of them flew across the world just to go. Even those who weren’t able to get tickets camped outside the stadium to sing along anyway! The Eras Tour became a community for Taylor’s fans, and it is why so many of them showed that same support when she announced she would be releasing the film, ‘’Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’’. Released on October 13th, fans treated this movie just like the concert: dressing up, making bracelets, and singing along with Taylor. As stated in CNN, the movie ‘’raked in about $96 million in the box office in the United States and Canada…[making] it the highest grossing concert film domestically for an opening weekend, according to AMC.’’ Taylor Swift is clearly a powerhouse, and everyone in the world agrees.
When going to see the Eras Tour film, fans were able to purchase their very own ''Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour'' popcorn bucket. Picture is from The Tennessean.
As seen from this clip on Tik Tok, Taylor Swift encouraged her fans to dance and sing as if they were at The Eras Tour. It was no regular movie experience but instead a concert to enjoy her music.
