The morning of October 19th

Sugar’s house

He finished off his bacon and took a small bite of eggs, chewing them slowly. His stomach still didn’t feel that great, but he had to admit that the food was making him feel better. If he took his time, he would probably be able to eat the whole plate, just not in one sitting. He yawned, stretching, before focusing his attention on the plate once more. He took a bite of a strawberry, before looking up from his plate, his eyes on Sugar.

He grinned at her as she made a show while eating her food. He still felt bad that she had spent her whole day taking care of him, and she was probably exhausted, despite the fact that she didn’t let it show. He nodded as she mentioned a bath. That would be nice, it would probably help soothe the pain for a bit. Then he realized he didn’t have his bags, so he didn’t have any other clothes. “That would be nice, but I don’t have a change of clothes.” He remembered that Sugar had some of his old tshirts, but that only solved half the problem. Maybe he could borrow something from Mr Motta, or Jeffery.

Seeing Sebastian actually eating made Sugar grin, she felt accomplished. Even though they'd already reached the conclusion earlier that she could get him to do anything she wanted, she once again noted this. But this was different than her usual demands of letting her win things or him getting things for her, she was trying to help him. So him listening to her gave her a different feeling of accomplishment, because she was happy to know he would be getting better and she played a part in that.

Sugar shrugged. Clothes wouldn't be a problem. Her dad or Jeffery had plenty of clothes and she could easily grab something for Sebastian. Or, if by unlikely chance they didn't, he'd just have to put his old clothes back on. But Sugar wouldn't let him do that. She'd definitely find him something nice and clean to wear. She waved him off. "Don't worry about that," she told him. "I'll get you something. You know, maybe to make myself even more nurse-ish, I can give you a sponge bath," she giggled, leaning in closer to him and poking him on the nose. "Nurses do that, right? And I am your personal little nurse."
