“It’s over, Night Terror,” she called. She and her fucking cape that billowed behind her. You detested the way she flew around the city. Perhaps you couldn’t fly, but could Supergirl achieve even a half of what you could achieve? She didn’t have a chance, because she didn’t have the ambition to be anything other than a puppet for peace. Her peace was manufactured and decided upon by elitists.

You knew what the people of National City deserved; you actually wanted to help them. Supergirl was a prop to make the average citizen feel good about their lives while the richest members of society robbed them blind.

“Explain to me how that’s true,” you taunted. You had an escape plan, you always did, but you weren’t ready to leave when victory was still possible.
