Worst thing that could happen to Hannibal wouldn't be the death of Will. He would still be able to consume him afterwards and not let his body go to waste.

Worst thing that could happen however is the death of Will by poisoning. Cause that's exactly what Hannibal couldn't stand to do to the meat. Will's body would have to go to waste.

In spite of this, he would still eat him. He would choose to be killed by the consumption of the man he loved the most.

I find it absolutely offensive that we never got a scene where Will is straddling Hannibal and trying to strangle him. Like. That's so on brand it almost exists as a ghost scene.

ok so do you remember how in episode one of season one hannibal was like not fond by contact are you? and will was like no eyes are distracting and then you remember in mizumono when they were looking into each other‘s eyes and then will completely missed the knife do you remember that because i remember that
