Summary:

Harry Styles is a breakout musician who has shed his boyband label in favor of embracing his inner brooding rockstar. His PR team think that his rebrand is the perfect time for Harry to come out of the closet and have devised the perfect plan for doing so. Enter Louis Tomlinson, up and coming (and very openly homosexual) model whose public image as America's Sweetheart is the perfect foil for Harry's new edge. From a PR standpoint, it's a dream come true - a power couple that can slowly coax the public into accepting Harry's altered image. The only problem? They hate each other.

Or, Harry does the Winter Girlfriend routine with Louis instead.

How have things been going?

Honestly, great! I’ve been so relaxed and just done a lot of things for me instead of stressing myself out to bend over backwards for others (in my personal life!). I’ve signed up for a fic exchange (my first on AO3, wish me luck) and I’m excited to get that done and then work on some more fics for you guys and get more things posted over on AO3 including revisions of FA and Balance! I’m also in a creative writing course so maybe some things from there will trickle over to my writing here. It’s my last year of school so I know that after that graduation song plays, I’ll have much more time for you and LouisandHarry. I hope everyone else is doing well and I look forward to interacting with you again soon!

Hi there! I just got out of a rehab facility a few months ago and now that I'm finally adjusting to life out in the real world, one of the first things I did was check to see if Balance had been completed! I'm currently rereading it to refresh my memory and I had a quick question. Would you say balance!louis is gay or how would you describe his sexuality? I absolutely love this story and I'm so glad I'm able to reread and finally finish it! 💕💕💕

Hello darling! I’m so so pleased with you for going through rehab and getting yourself out of it -- I hope you’re adjusting well and that things are going for the better! Additionally, I’m so so flattered that Balance is prioritized so highly for you! Your dedication really touched me so I appreciate that. And then to answer your question, I’m actually rereading Balance myself (and editing it to make it transferable to AO3)! 

Bearing in mind that I’m far from a sexuality expert, in my verse, balance!Louis’ sexuality falls under gray-homosexual. Before Harry, he’d never really experienced much by way of ‘attraction’ to anyone, regardless of gender. In chapter three he says Charlie’s ‘not his type’ because he’s not really sure of his type. Over time and during his exploratory crush on Harry and following the course of their interactions, he’d come to the determination that yes, he’s into guys and not girls but it has to be under the right circumstances (the gray area of his sexuality). 

Again, if anything there isn’t defined correctly, that’s my fault as specificity of terminology isn’t my strongest suit but I hope I explained that well enough for you to see the angle I was going for in Balance! Thank you for your thoughtful ask and for your curiosity!

I love you a whole lot and I can't believe balance is over but its perfect okay perfect and i can't wait for any and all future epilogues/time stamps because i need more of them being silly and in love

I’m sorry this took so long but I thank you for your love all the same! I’m so glad people have stuck through my Balance trek and enjoyed it as much as I have. There will definitely still be an epilogue and drabbles in the Balance verse in the future. I doubt I’ll ever let my little dancer!Louis go. 

The FA sequel is being replanned (since a big portion of it included a character I no longer feel apt to write) but it’ll definitely still happen. I’ll be transferring over things I’ve written to AO3 sometime either this month or next and from there, I’m going to be working on a few surprises and sprinkling oneshots as often as possible.

I’m doing very well and I hope you and everyone who checks out this blog and my fics are having a great day!

The overall answer is YES , I would love to have balance translated into French / Portuguese / Spanish / etc however I have some rules.

1) The translation is posted to TUMBLR or AO3 . NOT WATTPAD. I do not support the posting of my fic in any manner on wattpad for personal reasons.

2) You link to the original work on your page. This is a no brainer, I think. I just want credit as the original author

3) And that you send me the link to the completed translation! I really want to have links to translated versions of my fics on the masterposts. It’ll help people find translations easier and it’ll stop multiple people from translating it into the same language!
