Late night doodle from yesterday. I just had to draw young Noctis and his father.

Well, do you guys still remember my old WIP of Vincent Valentine which I drew years ago? Probably not, it’s so old haha. I never finished it and my hard drive died so I lost PSD file, with it I lost my motivation to draw it again. Thanks to people on IG I decided to come back to it, mostly cuz I want to see how much did my way of painting changed over the years. In 2017 I mostly decided to drop Soft Round brush for detailing and am embracing my lovely collection of 2k brushes. Colors became fashionable again SO you’ll see me using less Adjustment layers and will actually paint with colors…after years <__<; *horror music starts playing*

Anyway, my style has changed a lot since then. I mostly lost patience for really soft way of shading haha. But it changed mostly since I got Cintiq 2 years ago. With it I was able to experiment like never before, paint with brushes which have tilt feature, paint in styles which I used when I drew traditional works. It has been a long journey since then, so hopefully you’ll see me post more polished illustrations as this one this year. I’ve been full of doodles lately haha.
